<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As Democrats protest the Trump administration’s illegal immigration crackdown, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) continues to arrest illegal aliens convicted of crimes, including sexual offenses against children and vehicular homicide. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Illegal aliens picked up by ICE across the country on Thursday included those convicted of robbery, kidnapping, and sexual indecency with a child, the Department of Homeland Security told The Daily Wire. Those arrests happened as Democratic officials attempted to storm the holding cells of illegal aliens in New York City. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Yesterday, while Democrat lawmakers were obstructing law enforcement at Federal 26 Plaza, ICE law enforcement officers were arresting more pedophiles, child abusers, and kidnappers. Nothing will slow ICE down from removing criminal illegal aliens who are terrorizing American communities,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told The Daily Wire. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One of those nabbed by federal immigration officials on Thursday was a 42-year-old illegal alien from Mexico named Armando Vasquez-Gonzalez, who was convicted of sexual indecency with a child in Hays County, Texas. Hays County is located between San Antonio and Austin. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Federal officials also arrested Nery Garcia-Linares, a 32-year-old criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, who was convicted of endangering the welfare of a four-year-old child through sexual conduct in Trenton, New Jersey. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jefferson Caisahuana-Torres, a criminal illegal alien from Peru convicted of felony injury to a child in Idaho, was also nabbed by ICE. Caisahuana-Torres was originally </span><a href="https://www.mtexpress.com/news/cops_courts/bonneville-county-man-charged-in-ketchum-rape-case/article_c7675db4-e8b2-11ef-aba0-5b734f40d741.html"><span style="font-weight: 400;">charged</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> with rape of a 16-year-old girl. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Authorities also arrested Edgar Benitez-Martinez, an illegal alien from Mexico convicted of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated in Santa Clara County, California, and Souraphong Senethong, an illegal alien from Laos, convicted of robbery and kidnapping in King County, Washington. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“DHS applauds the heroic work of the brave men and women of ICE who are securing our nation and restoring the rule of law for our American citizens,” said McLaughlin. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As these arrests were happening across the country, nearly a dozen Democrat lawmakers were arrested after they engaged in an hour-long standoff with federal officers at an ICE facility at 26 Federal Plaza.
