<p>Former California Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger took shots at former President Donald Trump on Wednesday while endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidency.</p>
<p>The Hollywood celebrity made the endorsement in a <a href="https://x.com/Schwarzenegger/status/1851627802027758005">statement</a> on social media where he claimed that &#8220;people want to hear from me because I am not just a celebrity, I am a former Republican Governor.&#8221;</p>
<p>He said that while he hates politics, especially in the current political environment, he felt obligated to speak out before the election.</p>
<p>&#8220;Let me be honest with you: I don’t like either party right now. My Republicans have forgotten the beauty of the free market, driven up deficits, and rejected election results,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Democrats aren’t any better at dealing with deficits, and I worry about their local policies hurting our cities with increased crime.&#8221;</p>
<p>Schwarzenegger made no mention of the numerous times over a period of decades that Democrats have denied the results of elections.</p>

<p>&#8220;To someone like me who talks to people all over the world and still knows America is the shining city on a hill, calling America a trash can for the world is so unpatriotic, it makes me furious,&#8221; he said.</p>

<p>He made no mention of President Joe Biden saying this week that 74 million Americans who voted for Trump were &#8220;garbage.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;This week, I am voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>He lamented the growing national debt and the crisis at the southern border, two issues that have both been dramatically worsened under the Biden-Harris administration.</p>
<p>Schwarzenegger claimed that the only thing Trump accomplished was getting a tax cut passed and that it was only for &#8220;his donors and other rich people like me but helped no one else.&#8221;</p>
<p>Nearly 65% of Americans got a tax cut under Trump, according to <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/14/business/economy/income-tax-cut.html">The New York Times</a>.</p>
<p>He claimed that electing Trump would lead to &#8220;four more years of bulls*** with no results that makes us angrier and angrier, more divided, and more hateful.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;We need to close the door on this chapter of American history, and I know that former President Trump won’t do that,&#8221; he added. &#8220;He will divide, he will insult, he will find new ways to be more un-American than he already has been, and we, the people, will get nothing but more anger.&#8221;</p>
<p>He did not make any argument for why voters should support Harris other than saying Trump, in his mind, was worse.</p>
