Ariana Grande: Sex Proves God Is A Woman

Singer Ariana Grande sat down with Elle magazine to dish about her new song “God is a Woman,” which is rife with religious language, sex, and is apparently meant to empower women.

In fact, Grande and Elle’s deputy editor Katie Connor suggest that it’s sex that proves God is a woman.

Speaking of the young talent’s latest song, Connor said she was expecting to hear a Katy Perry-esque “feel-good Women’s-March–y anthem.” She was mistaken.

“I hear it a few weeks later. Hoo boy, was I wrong,” said the deputy editor. “Let’s just say it’s more about taking agency in the bedroom than at the office.”

The sultry song lyrics suggest it’s Grande’s sex that will make the man she’s with believe God is a woman. And, fun fact, it’s apparently her 92-year-old nonna’s favorite song.

As noted by LifeNews, Grande’s Met Gala gown, which featured Michelangelo’s The Last Judgement painting, was “a foreshadow, a hint,” of the new song.

Grande carried over the sexual message to Twitter, where she made numerous posts about “p****.”

“Sex is empowering,” she wrote to a Twitter user who asked about the song. “It’s the source of all life. p***y- is a privilege.”

In another tweet, Grande kept it simple: “P***y issa privilege.”

Grande also voiced her leftist political views and admonished those in the public eye who remain generally apolitical. “That’s wild to me,” she said. “[I]f I’m not going to say it, what’s the f***ing point of being here?”

As noted by Connor, the singer is “loud and proud in her anti-Trumpism and has aligned herself with gun reform and Black Lives Matter.”

“Not everyone is going to agree with you, but that doesn’t mean I’m just going to shut up and sing my songs,” she said. “I’m also going to be a human being who cares about other human beings; to be an ally and use my privilege to help educate people.”
