Anti-Semites Marking Jewish Houses With Star Of David In Berlin: Reports

Jewish-owned houses are being marked with the Star of David by anti-Semites in Berlin in images reminiscent of 1930s Nazi Germany, according to multiple reports. 

German outlet Tagesspiegel reported Friday that Berlin Police confirmed it was aware of an incident where a Star of David was painted on a Jewish woman’s door. German State Security is investigating the marks on suspicion of incitement and hatred. The Jewish resident whose house was graffitied said she called the police, but authorities told her to report it online. 

“They advised me to remove the Star of David because leaving it at the door could cause further reactions,” the woman said. She explained that she has a mezuzah on her doorframe, which is a piece of parchment inscribed with verses from the Torah in Hebrew. The Jewish woman said she is now afraid to go to synagogue and to be seen in public wearing her necklace that has a Star of David pendant. 

“And I won’t speak Hebrew on the street today,” she added. 

Three more incidents involving the apparent intimidation of Jewish residents were reported on Saturday.

“It is now the subject of our investigation to find out whether the other houses have a Jewish resident and whether the incidents are connected,” the police said, according to The Telegraph.

Posts on social media showed multiple other doors in Berlin being marked with the Star of David.

Human rights attorney Brooke Goldstein posted another photo of a door that had been marked.

The reports of anti-Semitism out of Berlin come as anti-Israel protestors gather in cities across the world to voice their support for Palestinians after Hamas brutally attacked Israel, slaughtering over 1,300 Israelis.

A large group of demonstrators hit New York City streets on Thursday to condemn Israel. Anti-Israel rallies were held at Brooklyn College, Hunter College, and Columbia University, where a Jewish student told The Daily Wire he was attacked on campus by a pro-Palestinian activist who was tearing down fliers raising awareness about Israelis who have been taken hostage by Hamas.

Hamas terrorists invaded Israel last Saturday, slaughtering Israeli families. Over the course of the week, the scale of Hamas’ atrocities against the Israelis has become more evident. During their attack, the terrorists targeted the most vulnerable, including raping and killing young women and slaughtering children and infants.
