Ana Navarro went off on people calling on Israel “to have restraint” following the “savage” and “cruel” terrorist attacks by Hamas on the country that has resulted in the murder of thousands.
During Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” the hosts discussed President Joe Biden‘s speech condemning the “brutal” attacks from Hamas and stating that the United States “has Israel’s back.”
“There were a lot of things he said which were very important,” Navarro said. “There was also something he didn’t say which was very important. There’s been many attacks on Israel before. There’s been many issues in that region before.”
“Always the response from around the world has been to Israel, have restraint,” she added. “Yesterday, nobody was telling Israel to have restraint. Because you cannot call on Israel to have restraint when 1,200, at least, of their citizens have been slaughtered in the savage, inhumane, cruel, medieval, way that they have been killed.”

The CNN contributor warned that “more carnage” will occur but added that the only people “who are to blame for all this is Hamas.”
“Hamas is going to be the one who is culpable for what’s going to happen in Gaza. They are holding Gaza hostage.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin then said she understood people’s “anger” but then claimed that the people of Gaza “did not vote” for the current Hamas leadership.
Hamas won the legislative election in 2006 and has ruled the West Bank and the Gaza Strip since.
Sunny Hostin falsely claims the people of Gaza “did not” vote in Hamas to be their leaders.
She goes on to spew Hamas talking points that Israel’s military is violating “international human rights law” when they “retaliate collectively.”

Joy Behar interjected with “that’s because of Hamas.”

Hostin then said that when “you decide to retaliate collectively” against a “people” that is also “in violation” of international “human rights law.”
The rest of the panel pushed back, noting that Hamas uses its people as “human shields” and noted that the Israelis “are warning all the civilians” to get out. “Hamas did nothing of the kind,” Behar added.
Navarro interjected, “Sunny, the problem is that Hamas runs Gaza. They are occupied by Hamas.”
