Alec Baldwin admitted he “forgot” to include his eldest daughter Ireland Baldwin in his post about detailing all the reasons he has to “carry on.”
The 65-year-old actor initially took to his Instagram on Thursday and shared a photo slideshow of his seven children: daughters Carmen, 9, Lucia, 2, Ilaria, nearly 8 months, and sons Leonardo, 6, Rafael, 7, Romeo, 4, and Eduardo, 2. In the caption he wrote, “Seven reasons to carry on during some tough times.”
“I’m not gonna lie, without my family, I don’t know what my life would be,” he added.

Followers of the former “Saturday Night Live” star immediately started asking the actor about his oldest daughter, Ireland, writing things like “Guess Ireland doesn’t count,” “I’m sure your oldest is happy you left her out,” and “Sorry … but it’s bad not to include all your children,” the Daily Mail noted.
Baldwin noticed and responded in a second post that included a black-and-white photo of his 27-year-old daughter, whom he shares with his first wife Kim Basinger.

“We forgot Billy Preston!” “The Boss Baby” star wrote. “This one, the first one, is about to make me a grandfather. Oy.”
The post seemed to be a bit late for many who continued to call out the Hollywood star for forgetting his oldest child.
“This post is super cringe worthy. ‘Forgot?’ … do better,” one wrote.
“Messed up that you forgot her in the first place,” another added. “You never include her. Someone probably called it to your attention or would you have even mentioned her and your new Grandchild. Wow.”
While another wrote, “How do you forget one of your kids [though] really. This is the exact reason I cut my dad off. He forgot me and my 3 kids …”
It is not the first time Baldwin has made headlines when it comes to Ireland. Leaked audio of a voicemail left by the “Beetlejuice” star on his daughter’s phone surfaced in the press when his daughter was just 11 years old. In the audio, Baldwin referred to his daughter as a “rude, thoughtless little pig” for not answering the phone when he called.
They have since repaired their relationship. Ireland is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend RAC, and plans on naming her Holland, the outlet noted.
