“Pose” actor Indya Moore says the penises of biological men who identify as women are actually “biologically female.”
Moore, a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman, posted the scientifically flawed statement to Twitter on Sunday: “If a woman has a penis, her penis is a biologically female penis,” the actor said.
The same goes for transgender men, said Moore: Women who identify as male have biologically male vaginas.
Moore explained further: “A biologically female penis is a non-artificial penis (eg: dildo, vibrator,) that is part of a biological (human) woman’s body.”
The actor also claimed that “trans women are biological women.”
“Trans women are biological women gender/sex cannot be biologically defined in absolutes because gender is biologically spectral,” wrote the Pose star.
Moore also wrote: “Reproductive parts and chromosomes define the biology of your gender, not your gender,” and, “Regardless [of] the biological makeup of the trans woman—she remains a woman with her biology, therefore defining her as a biological woman,” according to Pink News.
In another tweet, the trans actor pulled a quote from a viral post from a high school biology teacher named Grace Pokela: “The definition of biological Literally has nothing to do with gender. It just defines who we’re related to.”
Pokela’s viral Facebook post claimed that it’s “transphobic” to suggest chromosomes indicate biological sex, noting in the post that there are apparently male and female brains — a contradiction in modern feminist thinking.
“I just commented this on a transphobic post that was all like, ‘In a sexual species, females have two X chromosomes and males have an X and a Y, I’m not a bigot it’s just science.’ I’m a science teacher so I responded with this,” said Pokela.
The post continued: “You can be male because you were born female, but you have 5-alphareductase deficiency and so you grew a penis at age 12. You can be female because you have an X and a Y chromosome but you are insensitive to androgens, and so you have a female body. You can be female because you have an X and a Y chromosome but your Y is missing the SRY gene, and so you have a female body. You can be male because you have two X chromosomes, but one of your X’s HAS an SRY gene, and so you have a male body. You can be male because you have two X chromosomes- but also a Y. You can be female because you have only one X chromosome at all. And you can be male because you have two X chromosomes, but your heart and brain are male. And vice – effing – versa. Don’t use science to justify your bigotry. The world is way too weird for that s***.”
And if you contend that the penis of a man who believes he’s a woman is not “biologically female,” said the actor, you’re no different than a white or black supremacist.
“Cis people characterising gender variant traits as abnormal is synonymous to white people saying melanin is abnormal or melanated people saying that the absence of melanin is abnormal,” Moore wrote, according to Pink News.
The actor also wishes to see an accumulation of “masturbation tips” for trans people since “this Cisiety makes it hard for us to have healthy relationships with our bodies/body parts.”
Moore, ever so kindly, offered prayers to cis people — people who identify with their biological sex — so they can move beyond biology and stop being “a**holes.”
“Dear Cis people,” wrote Moore, “I hope you one day evolve beyond penises & vaginas. But ya can’t even get passed being a**holes.. So idk. #prayforcis.”
