ACLU Gives Former Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards A Lifetime Achievement Award

Former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards, the woman who spent a career stripping the civil rights of unborn children straight from their mother’s wombs, received a lifetime achievement award from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Speaking at the ACLU “You Belong Here” conference, Richards accepted her award by lamenting how politicians have failed to lead America.

“Leadership in America is coming from high school students, from Dreamers, from teachers, teachers striking on behalf of their students all across this country,” she argued, “leadership is coming from everyone who’s fighting for a country where we lift everyone up and no one falls through the cracks and you better believe leadership is coming from millions of women in this country, the most potent political force in America.”

The crowd applauded Richards for her work as CEO of Planned Parenthood, a role she exited earlier this year to promote her new book and possibly enter politics.

In March, the former abortion queen also received an award from New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who called her “a national champion, a national role model.”

Most recently, she castigated all pro-lifers as those who “lie, cheat, steal, deceive and break the law.” She said this knowing fully well that #MeToo kingpin Harvey Weinstein donated to her organization and even attended the gala celebrating Planned Parenthood’s 100 year anniversary.

Roughly 3.5 million unborn children were killed under Cecile Richards’ watch while CEO of Planned Parenthood.
