Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris finally agreed on Tuesday to do an interview, nearly 40 days after she became the party’s de facto nominee.
After more than a month in which Harris failed to take questions from reporters or sit for an interview, Harris agreed to a pre-taped interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on Thursday night—the night that the first full slate of college football games will be played. She will be accompanied by vice presidential nominee Tim Walz.
Bash has a lengthy history of showing hostilities toward Republicans and conservatives while parroting party talking points and false claims for Democrats.
Below are just a few of the examples of this extreme bias that Bash has shown this year:
1. Falsely claimed that Harris was not named the border czar.
Bash helped push the Biden-Harris administration’s blatantly false claim that Harris was never appointed to be the administration’s border czar, as the clip below shows.
NEW: The media is now claiming VP Kamala Harris was never the ‘Border Czar’ as the Trump campaign starts ramping up attacks.
You don’t hate the media enough.

2. Falsely claimed that Trump was responsible for the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Bash sought to let the Biden-Harris administration off the hook for their disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan by blaming the agreement on former President Donald Trump, even though the deal that Trump agreed to was conditional and Biden-Harris both took full credit for owning the withdrawal.

3. Raved about false claims peddled by President Joe Biden.
Biden was asked at the start of the month to respond to Trump saying that if he was president he would have been able to get four prisoners — Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, Marine veteran Paul Whelan, Alsu Kurmasheva, and Vladimir Kara-Murza — released from Russian custody without having to give anything in exchange.
“Why didn’t he do it when he was president?” Biden responded.
However, of the four prisoners who were released, only Whelan was arrested during the Trump administration while the other 3 were all arrested during the Biden-Harris administration.
Bash responded to the false insinuation from Biden by claiming: “I think that was what they call a ‘mic drop’ moment.”
Reporter: “President Trump has said repeatedly that he could have gotten the hostages out without giving anything in exchange. What do you say to that?” @POTUS: “Why didn’t he do it when he was president?”@DanaBashCNN: “I think that was what they call a ‘mic drop’ moment.” pic.twitter.com/MIUKa5LpBa

4. Lied about remarks that X owner Elon Musk made during an interview with Trump.
Bash lied about remarks that Trump and Musk made during a conversation earlier this month when they were talking about how nuclear power was a lot safer to use than most people think.
The clip that Bash played for CNN viewers contained the following exchange:
MUSK: Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed, but now they’re full cities again, so-
TRUMP: Right. Right. Right. That’s great.
MUSK: So, it’s not as scary as people think basically.
After Bash played the clip, she said that they were “sort of suggesting that what happened almost 80 years ago next year, the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, now it’s okay.”
The full context of the clip showed that the portion of the interview that was played was taken out of context and intentionally distorted.
WATCH: Fake news CNN selectively edited President @realDonaldTrump and @elonmusk‘s conversation last night to claim they said that the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings were not a big problem.
The full context shows they were talking about nuclear energy.

5. Said Trump “unfortunately” was not thrown off the ballot.
Bash lamented the U.S. Supreme Court’s unanimous ruling earlier this year that Democrats in Colorado were illegally trying to remove Trump from the ballot.
“Unfortunately for America, the court isn’t necessarily wrong that this is the way the Framers wanted it to be,” she said. “They wanted Congress, the people who are closest to their constituents, to be able to make the rules of the laws.”
