<p style="font-weight: 400;">On Tuesday, only two days after a gunman was arrested for allegedly targeting former President Donald Trump in the second assassination attempt on him in two months, MSNBC hosted a retired U.S. general who warned that Trump’s re-election would engender a generation of Nazi indoctrination.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Brigadier General Steven M. Anderson, who served as the Chief of Logistics Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff – J4, Logistics Readiness Center at the Pentagon before serving as the Multi-National Forces – Iraq, Director of Sustainment and Resources during Operation Iraqi Freedom, retired on March 1, 2010.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Speaking on MSNBC, Anderson stated, “Since 6 January, things have changed. Insurrection, I’ve said, ‘Now is the time to step up.’ I mean, what are we going to do? Are we going to wait until the jackboots are marching down the street, and the brown shirts come rolling out, and our kids get enrolled in Trump youth? Is that the time to start getting involved?”</p>

DOD just issued some policy prohibiting active membership but allowing membership nevertheless; we believe that that’s just not going far enough. The FBI has a list of gangs, extremist groups, and I submit to you that if you’re a soldier in the United States Army, you can’t be a member of that gang or that extremist group and also be a member of the United States military. &#8230;</em></p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;"><em>We need to start thinking now about what things we can do to make sure that we’re prepared for 2024, because we know that the bad guys, the Oathkeepers and the Proud Boys, they’re out there planning right now.</em></p>
