Step aside, Thomas Aquinas. Make room, St. Augustine. There is a new Bible scholar in town, and she didn’t find her calling in a cathedral — she found it in a Reno lounge act and a Disney-funded wardrobe department.
Whoopi Goldberg, a woman whose theological training apparently consists of wearing a polyester habit in two &#8220;Sister Act&#8221; films, has decided that she is the preeminent authority on the &#8220;Bible-Bible.&#8221; Speaking on &#8220;The View&#8221; on Thursday, Goldberg donned her invisible miter to lecture the masses on why the U.S. shouldn&#8217;t deal with Iran, wielding Scripture with the surgical precision of a blindfolded butcher.
Citing the Beatitudes and the command to &#8220;turn the other cheek,&#8221; Goldberg lamented that her own cheeks are &#8220;getting tired&#8221; from all the slapping.
It’s a touching sentiment, truly. One can almost hear the angels weeping — or perhaps that’s just the sound of anyone who has actually read Romans 13 hitting the floor in a dead faint.
Whoopi, ever the humble scholar, warned her audience that they only have a &#8220;half a quote&#8221; and need to &#8220;get into the Bible-Bible&#8221; to truly understand that being a &#8220;peacemaker&#8221; apparently means letting a theocratic regime develop ICBMs.

It’s a bold move for a woman who <a href="https://church4everychild.org/2015/10/20/if-we-value-life-we-dont-get-to-choose-which-lives-we-value/#:~:text=During%20one%20such%20discussion%20on,be%20reading%20the%20same%20Bible.">previously informed</a> the world that &#8220;there’s nothing in the Book that says anything about abortion.&#8221; Apparently, in Whoopi’s version of the &#8220;Bible-Bible,&#8221; God’s intricate knitting together of an unborn child in the womb mentioned in Psalm 139 was just a suggestion, and the &#8220;sword&#8221; the state bears in Romans 13 is actually a pool noodle used for rhythmic gymnastics.
But Goldberg’s expertise doesn’t stop at foreign policy. She’s also been there to fix the Catholic Church’s administrative issues. When Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone dared to enforce Canon 915 by denying Communion to Nancy Pelosi, Whoopi was there to <a href="https://www.thewrap.com/the-view-whoopi-goldberg-nancy-pelosi-communion-video/">set him straight</a>: &#8220;This is not your job, dude!&#8221;
According to the Gospel of Goldberg, the Eucharist isn’t a sacrament requiring a state of grace; it’s a participation trophy for anyone with a &#8220;View&#8221; microphone.
She’s &#8220;schooling&#8221; us, folks. We just don&#8217;t understand the &#8220;Bible-Bible&#8221; like she does. After all, she played a nun twice.
That’s basically two-thirds of a Trinity.

I spent the day watching more of “The View” than I ever have before in my life.
Turns out, the insufferable hosts of this failing network show, on Disney-owned ABC, took it upon themselves to spend seven uninterrupted minutes on national television <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/daily-wire-host-fires-back-after-the-view-melts-down-over-her-support-for-young-families?author=Virginia+Kruta&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=2&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Daily+Wire+Host+Fires+Back+After+%E2%80%98The+View%E2%80%99+Melts+Down+Over+Her+Support+For+Young+Families">bashing me</a> by name, and anyone else with the audacity to promote marriage and parenthood to Gen Z.
I’ve been a content creator since 2019, covering some of the most contentious issues in the American culture war, and I’ve gotta be honest: I never thought this, my most wholesome, pro-America take, would be the thing I’d get attacked for.
Last week, I joined a panel of incredible women on stage at CPAC to discuss the importance of the American family, and was asked specifically to talk about what it’s going to take to save America. My answer was one <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/daily-wire-host-torches-the-view-over-claim-only-rich-women-can-afford-kids?author=Virginia+Kruta&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=0&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Daily+Wire+Host+Torches+%E2%80%98The+View%E2%80%99+Over+Claim+Only+Rich+Women+Can+Afford+Kids">I often repeat</a> in speeches or interviews, and reflects a simple timeless truth — we must renew the importance of the family as the cornerstone of society again to a generation that’s being lied to about it. Addressing a crowd older than myself, I said this:

Before long, Whoopi Goldberg &amp; company would be furious and virtually foaming at the mouth over the very idea that I promote marriage and motherhood to my generation, and dedicated an entire segment of everyone’s favorite “View-erless” show to launch an attack. 
The “anti-family” segment on &#8220;The View&#8221; opened with Whoopi predictably labeling me a racist – because, clearly, I must only want more white people to have children as a white woman myself. That’s obviously not true. 
But it’s a curious criticism coming from Whoopi Goldberg, an ardent supporter of the abortion industry, which grew in America specifically as a way to kill black babies in the womb at the hands of renowned and infamous eugenicist Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood.
In 2022, Black women made up about 40 % of all abortions reported in the U.S. – in New York City today, as Whoopi Goldberg runs her mouth on television from the heart of Manhattan, you are more likely to be aborted as a black baby than you are to be born… all in the name of racial progress and equity, right?
Let me be clear: the only racial component to any of this is the continued desire by the abortion industry to convince black women it’s more empowering to end the lives of their children than to give birth to them.
Moving through the panel, Sara Haines spent her time on air reminding viewers that having kids is a choice. That’s true. But what about my choice, and that of literally billions of other women around the world, to get married and have children? The very notion is seemingly unfathomable to the women on this miserable panel.
In other words, if you make the choice to “want” kids – it’s the wrong choice. You’re less of a woman. You aren’t a feminist. You don’t support equality. You deserve to be publicly SHAMED, which is exactly what they proceed to do to me.
Ironically, every woman but one around that table has children of their own. And every one of them is either in a long-term relationship or has been married. They somehow make it work as working moms. They have had the courage to commit their lives to someone they love. They get to snuggle their babies at the end of a long day of work — so, why isn’t it worth pursuing for you?
For the rest of the segment, all of the hosts collectively wasted air throwing out every anti-natalist argument to see what would stick.
They lied, saying having children is somehow beneath women, that we as a sex (amazing, how suddenly we can all define woman, right?) have come “too far” to still be sucked into the innate, natural, instinctual desire to have a beautiful baby and share your life with someone.
They lied, claiming childcare costs a whopping $400,000 a year, so must be financially inaccessible to anyone outside of the 1% of the 1%. For the record, it costs about $10,000-$15,000 on average a year… but I wouldn’t expect a woman screaming at me in an $800 jacket to know.
They lied, saying if you want a baby you must be in an abusive, oppressive marriage to an evil, misogynistic man–and someone ought to help you escape with a divorce attorney. To clarify: I love my husband, and no one is more supportive of my motherhood journey or my career.
They lied, saying that I must not understand how tough having kids are because I have a mere one-year-old, who “just sleeps all day.” News to me, after over a year of my life not sleeping all the way through the night.
They lied, saying that breastfeeding ruins your boobs. I know Whitney Cummings remains deeply concerned about my breasts – after 11 months of breastfeeding my daughter, they’re doing just fine.
They lied, of course, to claim we’re facing an overpopulation crisis, which is objectively the opposite of our current reality. In fact, over half of the world’s countries and areas now have fertility rates below the replacement level of 2.1 children per woman. These countries represent over two-thirds of the global population, and that number is expected to increase to over 90% by the end of this century.
By 2030, nearly 45% of American women aged 25-44 are projected to be single and childless.
It’s not hard to understand why – virtually every single influencer, television show, movie, college professor, woke pastor, politician, and mainstream media outlet today is dedicating massive air time to trying to convince you NOT to have kids.
Why? Because they want you miserable and lonely. They are intentionally seeking to brainwash you into what my friend &amp; fellow mom Allie Beth Stuckey calls “Toxic Empathy,” so you think you&#8217;re a better person and more compassionate for essentially hating children.
In fact, getting married and having kids is better for everyone in the long term. One study found that having kids increases your wealth by 23% throughout your life. Young married moms are three times happier than their unmarried, childless counterparts. Statistically, married, religious couples with children have the most satisfying intimate lives.
Most importantly, the joy and purpose we experience in sharing our lives with our children is unparalleled anywhere else in our often empty and meaningless society.
How dare we want that for the next generation, right?
I further find no coincidence that this segment aired this week at the start to Holy Week as we walk toward Christ’s Passion on the cross this Friday and His resurrection into heaven on Easter Sunday. The family is the most beautiful example we have of God’s perfect design for humanity. His love is exemplified for us as we lay down our lives for one another, humbling ourselves to serve our spouses and our children. The family, as a result, presents an unparalleled threat to the demonic forces of evil and darkness in our world.
St. John Paul II said during his tenure as Pope, “As the family goes, so goes the nation, and so goes the whole world in which we live,” and “The future of humanity passes by way of the family.”
&#8220;The View’s&#8221; attack on the family and those promoting it is just the latest example of spiritual warfare being waged against what is good and true and beautiful, and we must remain deeply committed to sharing the timeless truth of God even in today’s culture.
Mother Teresa once famously said, “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” These words have always been meaningful to me, but certainly have packed a huge gut punch this week as I reflect on the unexpected backlash to such a simple message I shared on stage last week.
It’s a call to action for all of us to ponder, and determine what course we will walk as we work to build our own American Dream as a generation among Gen Z.
The truth is, there’s no better advertisement for the joy of a God-centered marriage than the alternative being blast on full display from the set of &#8220;The View&#8221; – would you rather live among the misery, contempt, and judgment of these angry middle aged women, or pursue purpose and fulfillment in marriage and motherhood while you can?
So, thanks to the ladies of &#8220;The View&#8221; for giving me another opportunity to address this issue. In case it wasn’t clear, I stand by everything I said at CPAC. And in case you’re still unsure at this point, let me reiterate:
Have the courage to fall in love, get married, and make more babies.

Whoopi Goldberg took a moment during Wednesday&#8217;s broadcast of &#8220;The View&#8221; to lecture War Secretary Pete Hegseth about what it means to be a soldier, arguing that he &#8220;should know&#8221; what he was subjecting service members to when they deployed to the Middle East.
Goldberg and her cohosts insisted, as they have previously, that President Donald Trump&#8217;s administration launched Operation Epic Fury and unleashed American military force on the Iranian regime without first planning for contingencies. That, she complained, meant that he was &#8220;sending people in to die.&#8221;

After first asserting that the United States was manipulating the numbers to hide the number of American troops who were already deployed to the Middle East and the number of those who had been hurt or killed, Goldberg asserted that there was still no plan in place to bring Operation Epic Fury to an end.
&#8220;At this point, at this point, I want them to stop what they&#8217;re doing. They are sending people in to die. They are sending people in to die and I&#8217;m surprised because Hegseth served,&#8221; Goldberg said, suggesting that because American troops were in harm&#8217;s way, Hegseth could not possibly have planned the operation.
&#8220;Yes, he did,&#8221; Sunny Hostin agreed.
&#8220;He served. He should know what —&#8221; Goldberg said.
Cohost Abby Huntsman added, &#8220;He should know better than anybody.&#8221;
&#8220;Yes, better than any body, but when you listen to [Hegseth] — Stop looking so angry! He should know more than anybody what it takes to be a soldier in our Army,&#8221; Goldberg explained, adding, &#8220;What it means when you send people in. When you send them in with a plan, it&#8217;s horrific. You send them in without a plan, you willy-nilly and you&#8217;re not explaining what&#8217;s going on.&#8221;
&#8220;Fathers, mothers, daughters, sisters, brothers, these are all our American citizens who are being asked to do this. And because, because of the way the military is, they will do what they&#8217;re asked to do,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;Damn it, I&#8217;d rather this were in the hands of people who actually cared about them enough to say, &#8216;I&#8217;m going to do everything I can for you to be not in a place where you could be killed.'&#8221;

Whoopi Goldberg floated a bizarre theory during Monday&#8217;s broadcast of &#8220;The View&#8221; on ABC, suggesting that FBI Director Kash Patel had been sent to Italy to watch Team USA&#8217;s first Olympic hockey gold medal in 46 years because the rank and file wanted him out of the way.
Goldberg and her cohosts began the segment by bashing Patel for going to the championship game between fierce rivals, the United States and Canada, because that meant he was not present to handle other major issues in which the FBI has been deeply involved.
Cohost Ana Navarro mentioned the videos that showed Patel partying with Team USA in the locker room after their overtime win, and complained that he was behaving like &#8220;a member of &#8216;Animal House,'&#8221; and claimed she had no idea what he was even doing there.
Sara Haines argued that she personally would rather have a law enforcement leader who was &#8220;serious and borderline boring,&#8221; complaining that he was partying instead of dealing with real issues like the upheaval in Mexico and the Secret Service-involved shooting at Mar-a-Lago.
&#8220;Right now the world doesn&#8217;t feel settled or stable, and you&#8217;ve got the head of the FBI, and the visual of chugging a beer in a locker room,&#8221; she added, arguing that he was not helping the administration to appear more &#8220;competent&#8221; and that the whole scenario was &#8220;a bit of an insult to the American people.&#8221;

Goldberg then pivoted to suggest that maybe the move had come at the behest of some in the FBI who felt that they would be better able to do their jobs if Patel was off doing something else.
&#8220;I&#8217;m going to put a positive spin on it. Maybe the folks in the FBI say, &#8216;yeah, Kash, go do that&#8217; so they don&#8217;t have to deal with him, because they know he doesn&#8217;t know what he&#8217;s doing,&#8221; she said. &#8220;They know that he is incompetent. They know that he is just — he is a joke and he is a joke in the rest of the world. And because for most of the people working in the FBI it is not a joke. They are the ones whose eyes are on the ball.&#8221;
Patel himself <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kash-patel-owns-partying-with-usa-hockey-team-yes-i-love-america">addressed the media</a> scrutiny in a post to X, saying that he&#8217;d been invited to celebrate with Team USA after their gold-medal win and had chosen to do so.
&#8220;For the very concerned media — yes, I love America and was extremely humbled when my friends, the newly minted Gold Medal winners on Team USA, invited me into the locker room to celebrate this historic moment with the boys,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Greatest country on earth and greatest sport on earth.&#8221;

Goldberg, who reportedly reached out to the disgraced financier with a request to borrow his jet, argued on Tuesday that she &#8220;wasn&#8217;t his friend&#8221; and complained that people were making claims linking her to Epstein without first getting all the facts.

She explained that she&#8217;d been trying to get to a charity event and had simply needed to find transportation.
&#8220;So, in other words, anybody can be on this list,&#8221; co-host Joy Behar said.
&#8220;Anybody — well, this is my point. Because I&#8217;m telling you when I tell you people are trying to turn me into — I wasn&#8217;t his girlfriend. I wasn&#8217;t his friend,&#8221; Goldberg said.
&#8220;You were too old for him,&#8221; co-host Sara Haines joked.
&#8220;I was not only too old, but it was at a time, you know, where this is just not — you used to have to have facts before you said stuff,&#8221; Goldberg — who was suspended for saying that the Holocaust was &#8220;not about race&#8221; and suggested Dr. (Ed.) Jill Biden would be an excellent Surgeon General — complained.
Behar quickly flipped the conversation to attack President Donald Trump, adding, &#8220;But Trump is on the list 38,000 times. Come on!&#8221;
&#8220;Well, I can&#8217;t speak to him, but I&#8217;m speaking about me because I&#8217;m getting dragged,&#8221; Goldberg continued. &#8220;People actually believe that I was with him. It&#8217;s like, honey, come on.&#8221;
Haines suggested that people were just looking for scapegoats in the list of names recently connected to Epstein — some of whom, such as Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe, were already dead.
&#8220;They dropped like 300 names and it&#8217;s like flood the zone because when you look in there, there&#8217;s people like Marilyn Monroe, who was dead &#8230; because a lot of the reasons your name can be mentioned are news articles, third party emails, contacts, again, wealthy, famous people often cross in professional and social circles, so that&#8217;s not the surprising part,&#8221; she said.
Despite defending Goldberg&#8217;s connection to Epstein as simply the result of &#8220;wealthy, famous people&#8221; traveling in similar orbits, it did not appear to occur to anyone at the table that Trump — who also qualifies as a &#8220;wealthy, famous&#8221; person — might be able to explain his own appearance in the Epstein documents the same way.

Ana Navarro suggested on Monday that President Donald Trump and his administration had effectively cooked the books in their efforts to arrest former CNN host Don Lemon in connection with a protest that disrupted a Minneapolis church service a week earlier.
Navarro and her cohosts on ABC&#8217;s midday talk show &#8220;The View&#8221; discussed Lemon&#8217;s arrest, and their conversation covered the entire spectrum, from Navarro and Sunny Hostin insisting that the case had no merit and would be dismissed to Whoopi Goldberg wringing her hands and warning that the Trump administration could arrest anyone the president didn&#8217;t like.
Navarro began by claiming that an appellate court&#8217;s refusal to compel a lower court judge to sign off on Lemon&#8217;s arrest warrant amounted to judges laughing the DOJ out of their courtrooms. She did not mention the fact that one of the judges concerned said that he agreed there was probable cause to arrest Lemon.
&#8220;So, they basically did it themselves,&#8221; she asserted. &#8220;Make no mistake about it. This was about gaslighting, this was about going against Don lemon and other journalists. By the way, all of whom happen to be black. Happy Black History Month. And I think it&#8217;s to send a chilling message to anybody who is covering facts.&#8221;

Hostin, also ignoring that fact that Lemon was indicted by a federal grand jury, claimed that the former CNN host was only acting as a journalist covering the protest as it unfolded — despite video appearing to show that he was privy to the plans prior to the group storming into the church while parishioners attempted to hold a worship service.
Cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin also defended Lemon, claiming that he had acted only as a journalist.

Goldberg hit the panic button, however, and fretted about how easy it might be for the Justice Department to arrest anyone if Lemon was fair game.
&#8220;Listen, what I said to you before, you see what&#8217;s happening, you know what&#8217;s happening. If it&#8217;s happening like this for someone who is out and clearly doing his job, what do you think will happen to us?&#8221;
Since the protest just over a week earlier, several disturbing reports have come out detailing the behavior of the protesters — who reportedly harassed and terrified members of the congregation — while inside the church.

Whoopi Goldberg immediately backpedaled after claiming Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were &#8220;violent criminals,&#8221; saying that she was using &#8220;nuance&#8221; when she made that particular statement.
Goldberg joined her cohosts on Monday&#8217;s broadcast of ABC&#8217;s &#8220;The View,&#8221; where they discussed the fatal confrontation between anti-ICE activist Renee Good and the ICE agent who shot and killed her when she accelerated toward him, striking him with her vehicle. Goldberg&#8217;s overall assessment of the situation was that ICE agents were more violent than the people they were apprehending in major cities like Minneapolis.

Goldberg began by complaining that the Department of Homeland Security had promised to pick up the worst of the worst and the most “violent criminals” — and reports detailing who ICE agents have arrested since the surge in Minneapolis began indicate they have followed through on that promise.
But Goldberg disagreed with DHS and said that, as far as she was concerned, it appeared that the “violent criminals” were inside ICE.
“This is the thing, you said you were going after the bad guys. That&#8217;s what you said, the violent criminals. And what does it turn out? The violent criminals seem to be in the agency,” she said.
The show cut to a commercial break then, and by the time they returned to air, she was already trying to un-ring the bell.
“Welcome back. Before we go on, I — before folks gather around and say, &#8216;oh, she&#8217;s accusing all of the folks at ICE of being criminals,’ that is not what I&#8217;m doing. And just so I&#8217;m clear, it feels sometimes that there is no one watching the henhouse. Okay? Whoopi Goldberg practically begged a foreign power — any foreign power — to come in and extradite President Donald Trump, complaining on Wednesday that the United States does not &#8220;have a government&#8221; with him in the White House.
Goldberg raised the issue on Wednesday&#8217;s broadcast of &#8220;The View&#8221; on ABC, where she and her cohosts were continuing their discussion of the Trump administration&#8217;s weekend actions in Venezuela, including the arrest and extradition of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro.
Cohost Sara Haines suggested that Trump&#8217;s voters were not educated enough to understand &#8220;the chess game of the geopolitics&#8221; and didn&#8217;t actually vote for what was happening — and claimed again that Trump&#8217;s actions were &#8220;illegal.&#8221;

Goldberg then suggested that because she also agreed Trump&#8217;s actions had been &#8220;illegal,&#8221; maybe it was time for some other foreign power — and she did not specify which — should look at the United States and consider intervening.
&#8220;Let me just say this,&#8221; Goldberg began. &#8220;Here&#8217;s my question: Where is everybody? Where is everybody else? We come to everybody&#8217;s aid. We help everybody. NATO, they came and helped us after 9/11. Where is everybody? Because we&#8217;re all — But where is the government? Do you realize we don&#8217;t have a government?! We don&#8217;t have a — and this is a huge, and should be, our biggest b*tch right now. That should be — because all of this is happening because no one is doing checks and balances.&#8221;
&#8220;Where is the government? Why aren&#8217;t they doing their job?&#8221; Goldberg continued. &#8220;He hinted yesterday that maybe there won&#8217;t be any midterms. He said he was joking &#8230; This is — we&#8217;re in it already &#8230; We really need to be paying attention to who we&#8217;ve given power to.&#8221;

Whoopi Goldberg claimed on Thursday that President Donald Trump&#8217;s plan to give monetary bonuses to members of the military was effectively a bribe to ensure that they&#8217;d obey the president&#8217;s orders even if they were not necessarily lawful.
Goldberg, during Thursday&#8217;s broadcast of ABC&#8217;s &#8220;The View,&#8221; first questioned whether or not troops would actually ever see that money — and then immediately insinuated that if they did see it, it would be solely because Trump was using it to buy their loyalty.

Cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin began by saying she&#8217;d actually like to give Trump credit for offering bonuses — &#8220;warrior dividends&#8221; — to troops, but Goldberg quickly interrupted.
&#8220;Let&#8217;s see if they get the — I want to see them get it first,&#8221; Goldberg said.
Griffin went on to say that she&#8217;d prefer to see &#8220;smart policies&#8221; rather than &#8220;handouts,&#8221; and argued that it was unfair for money to only go to members of the military — particularly if the money was, as Trump said, coming from tariff revenue — that all Americans were hurting and in need of assistance.

Goldberg then pivoted to suggest that the reason Trump was singling out members of the armed forces had nothing to do with the notion that they&#8217;d earned it in service to the country, but rather because she believed they&#8217;d be more likely to do anything Trump wanted if he greased the wheels with a Christmas bonus.
&#8220;What he&#8217;s doing is, he&#8217;s thinking, &#8216;If I make sure that the soldiers have what they need, they&#8217;ll back me in what I want, see?'&#8221; she said.

Whoopi Goldberg claimed on Monday that if any American service members were charged with &#8220;war crimes&#8221; in relation to drug boat strikes, it would be because War Secretary Pete Hegseth had &#8220;set them up&#8221; to take the fall.
Goldberg and her cohosts on ABC&#8217;s &#8220;The View&#8221; insisted that the strikes were illegal and argued that in ordering them, Secretary Hegseth was putting the service members who executed those orders at risk of prosecution.

Because if this is deemed to have been war crimes, which by all accounts right now there are seven sources that said Pete Hegseth did say &#8216;kill them all,&#8217; even after there were two survivors,&#8221; Hostin continued. &#8220;What you are supposed to do under international law, you are supposed to take those fighters as war criminals, prisoners of war, and you are supposed to give them refuge and you&#8217;re supposed to take care of them and then you are supposed to put them into a court of law. Instead, they killed them.&#8221;

Hostin went on to say that there could be legal consequences for those who gave the orders and for those who carried them out.
&#8220;That means the person who gave the order can be held accountable and put in prison, and that means the person that conducted — the people who conducted the orders, that pulled the trigger are also responsible and can be held accountable,&#8221; she said. &#8220;So, now you have people that are serving their countries, that are serving this country as patriots, perhaps following an illegal order and then themselves can be court-martialed. Imagine that.&#8221;
&#8220;Well, what he has done is he&#8217;s set them up,&#8221; Goldberg declared. &#8220;He has set them up.&#8221;
Hostin echoed comments made on Sunday by Senator <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mark-kelly-encourages-active-military-to-question-orders-in-real-time">Mark Kelly</a> (D-AZ), who told &#8220;Meet the Press&#8221; anchor Kristen Welker that he worried some service members would only learn that they had carried out illegal orders after the fact, when it was too late for them to do anything about it.

Whoopi Goldberg is once again claiming that one reason she won’t retire from hosting “The View” is that she doesn’t have enough money.
The 69-year-old comedian discussed the situation during a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight. When asked if she was ready to slow down and enjoy her life, Goldberg replied, “Yeah, but who can afford to do that? You know if you don’t marry well, you gotta keep working.”
The interviewer pressed on that point, saying Goldberg may be someone who could afford to retire. “No, not by now. Not yet,” the “Sister Act” star insisted.
At another point, Goldberg said, “I’ve got to keep paying those bills, baby.”

This isn’t the first time the host of “The View” indicated that she hadn’t earned enough money to step back from her career. 
In November 2024, Goldberg indicated she was “working class” because she was still working.
“I appreciate that people are having a hard time. Goldberg and the other panelists on “The View” have been mocked for years for their stridently partisan opinions. They are currently in full meltdown mode over Trump’s second presidency, criticizing him for his stance on almost everything. 
Joy Behar, 83, also spoke with Entertainment Tonight, saying she wasn’t planning to retire either. She said it had to do with creativity, not finances.
“I just really like to write and create stuff,” she said. “Creative people don’t retire, they don’t resign, they just keep going,” she added.
