The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/united-nations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">United Nations</a> said this week that nine male members of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) have been fired following an investigation over their alleged involvement in Hamas&#8217; October 7 terrorist attacks.
Deputy spokesperson Farhan Haq <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/nine-unrwa-staff-may-have-been-involved-oct-7-attack-israel-says-un-2024-08-05/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> a U.N. briefing on Monday that &#8220;the evidence was sufficient to conclude that they may have been involved&#8221; in the unprecedented terrorist attack in which thousands of Palestinian terrorists stormed into Israel and murdered 1,200 people, wounded 5,000+, and took hundreds of people hostage.
The admission comes after UNRWA has denied the allegations for months and falsely labeled accusations as Israeli propaganda and &#8220;disinformation.&#8221;
The organization launched an investigation after Israeli authorities provided information linking numerous UNRWA workers to the Hamas terrorist organization and the October 7 attack.
&#8220;Any UNRWA employee who was involved in acts of terror will be held accountable, including through criminal prosecution,&#8221; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/u-n-agency-announces-investigation-after-israel-provides-information-on-its-employees-alleged-involvement-in-hamas-terrorist-attack" target="_blank" rel="noopener">claimed</a> Philippe Lazzarini, UNRWA’s commissioner-general.
The U.S. State Department announced in January that in light of the evidence produced by Israel, the U.S. would cut funding to the organization.
&#8220;The United States is extremely troubled by the allegations that twelve UNRWA employees may have been involved in the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel,&#8221; said department spokesperson Matthew Miller. &#8220;The Department of State has temporarily paused additional funding for UNRWA while we review these allegations and the steps the United Nations is taking to address them.&#8221;

UNRWA facilitates the spreading of anti-Semitic propaganda via many avenues, the most troublesome of which is perhaps its production of educational materials for children inciting hatred of Jews. Other examples include Nazi-like cartoons <a href="https://unwatch.org/himlaj-mohammad-selmi-unrwa-tv-presenter-posts-anti-semitic-cartoon/">shared on social media by its staff</a> and <a href="http://www.ngo-monitor.org/reports/the_role_of_john_ging_unrwa_director_in_gaza_in_political_warfare/">promoting terrorist-supporting flotillas</a> and violence against Israel. UNRWA has also allowed Hamas to <a href="http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/UNRWA-A-Palestinian-anti-Israel-non-territorial-government-374260">use its facilities</a> and has employed its members as staff.
<a href="https://chrissmith.house.gov/UploadedFiles/Hillel_Neuer.pdf">Hillel Neuer</a>, the Executive Director of UN Watch, told a <a href="https://chrissmith.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=411755#:~:text=%E2%80%9CTeachers%20and%20schools%20at%20the,incite%20antisemitism%2C%E2%80%9D%20said%20Neuer.">congressional hearing</a> back in November, “Teachers and schools at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which runs education and social services for Palestinians, regularly call to murder Jews, and create teaching materials that glorify terrorism, encourage martyrdom, demonize Israelis and incite antisemitism.”
“In 2022 alone, UNRWA received $344 million in U.S. funding,” Neuer continued. “Yet a March 2023 report by UN Watch and Impact-SE identified 133 UNRWA educators and staff who were found to promote hate and violence on social media, and an additional 82 teachers and other staff affiliated with 30 UNRWA schools who were involved in drafting and distributing hateful content to students.”
Jonathan Schanzer, the Senior Vice President for Research at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, said during the same hearing in November: “No organization exemplifies the UN’s nurturing of Palestinian grievances at the expense of Palestinians better than UNRWA.”
“The agency has over 30,000 employees,&#8221; he added. &#8220;UNRWA doesn’t screen them for ties to terrorist groups, meaning that many employees are members of or affiliated with Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, or other violent groups.”

The anti-Israel International Court of Justice, an arm of the United Nations, <a href="https://apnews.com/article/icj-court-israel-palestinians-settlements-2d5178500c0410341b252335859f2316" target="_blank" rel="noopener">ruled</a> on Friday that Israel’s presence in the biblical areas of Judea and Samaria is “unlawful,” and that Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria, as well as in East Jerusalem, <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/icj-united-nations-israel-settlement-violate-international-law-rcna162667" target="_blank" rel="noopener">violated</a> international law.
In an opinion delivered by its president, Nawaf Salam of Lebanon, who <a href="https://x.com/nawafasalam/status/607020119705960449?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E607020119705960449%7Ctwgr%5E821ae8992b8a46edce74daeef77aea1c58d75bb3%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jpost.com%2Finternational%2Farticle-785552" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> in 2015 of Israel, “Unhappy birthday to you, 48 years of occupation,” the court<a href="https://www.icj-cij.org/sites/default/files/case-related/186/186-20240719-adv-01-00-en.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> claimed</a>, “The West Bank and East Jerusalem are occupied territories in which Israel has status of occupying Power.”
In the face of the October 7 attack by the terrorist group Hamas in which they murdered more than 1,200 people in Israel and in the face of the decades-old series of wars launched by Arab states against Israel and the intifadas which claimed thousands of Jewish lives, the court wrote, “Israel’s systematic failure to prevent or punish attacks by settlers against the life or bodily integrity of Palestinians, as well as Israel’s excessive use of force against Palestinians, is inconsistent with its obligations.”
Among other incidents in which Jews have been murdered by Palestinian terrorists in Judea and Samaria, on March 2011, Tamar Fogel, 12, <a href="https://www.idf.il/en/mini-sites/palestinian-terrorism/today-we-remember-the-fogel-family-massacre/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">returned</a> to her home in Itamar to find her brothers, Yoav, 11, and Elad, 4, lying on the floor in pools of blood. She found her 3-month-old sister stabbed in her crib; her parents dead on the floor. Two terrorists, from a neighboring Palestinian village, who were linked with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), committed the murders.
In 2014, Israeli students Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaer, and Naftali Fraenkel, ages 16 and 19, were hiking in Gush Etzion when they were kidnapped and murdered by Palestinian terrorists. Hamas leader Khaled Mashal <a href="https://www.haaretz.com/2014-06-23/ty-article/hamas-meshal-lauds-abductors-of-israeli-teens/0000017f-db73-df62-a9ff-dff70cef0000" target="_blank" rel="noopener">congratulated</a> the kidnapping. In April 2023, sisters Rina Dee, 15, and Maia Dee, 20, as well as their mother Lucy, were shot by Palestinian terrorists in the northern Jordan Valley. All three died. Al Qassam Brigade, the militant wing of Hamas, later <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/04/middleeast/israel-idf-operation-kills-gunman-britain-intl-hnk/index.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">named</a> the three men responsible and called them “heroes of the Jordan Valley operation that was carried out about a month ago.&#8221;

“Palestinian terrorists in Judea and Samaria have killed five Israelis and wounded many others since Oct. 7, according to Hatzalah,” JNS <a href="https://www.jns.org/over-2600-terror-attacks-in-judea-and-samaria-since-oct-7/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. “Between Oct. 7 and Jan. 15, Rescuers Without Borders first responders recorded more than 2,600 attacks targeting Israeli civilians and soldiers, including 760 cases of rock-throwing, 551 fire bombings, 12 attempted or successful stabbings and nine vehicular assaults.”
The court added, “Israel’s occupation has lasted for more than 57 years,” also writing, “Israel treats East Jerusalem as its own territory.” It added, “ &#8230; Court is of the view that Israel’s policies and practices, including the maintenance and expansion of settlements, the construction of associated infrastructure, including the wall &#8230; the proclamation of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital &#8230; entrench Israel’s control of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, notably of East Jerusalem and of Area C of the West Bank. &#8230; the Court considers that these policies and practices amount to annexation of large parts of the Occupied Palestinian Territory.”
Danny Danon, Israeli ambassador to the U.N., <a href="https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/393316" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fired back</a>, “The ICJ has long been a political circus, and today is a stronghold of Hamas supporters.”
The Jewish claim to Jerusalem, as well as Judea and Samaria, dates back thousands of years to the time of King David, who conquered Jerusalem and made it the capital of Israel. Most of the events recorded in the Bible took place in Judea and Samaria, not the areas near the coast, such as Tel Aviv.

Francesca Albanese, the viciously anti-Israel Special Rapporteur for the United Nations, reached a new nadir in her rhetoric targeting the Jewish state, calling for it to be expelled from the U.N. after Israel attacked the UNRWA headquarters in Gaza City.
Israel has stated the terrorist group Hamas has used the UNRWA headquarters in Gaza City as a military base. Daniel Rubenstein of the Israeli Citizen Spokespersons&#8217; Office <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHEFKGijvzM" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> that the Israel Defense Forces found “drones, war rooms used for surveillance operations, rockets, machine guns, mortars, bombs, and grenades” in the building.
“On October 12, five days after the October 7 massacre, UNRWA evacuated its headquarters in Gaza City. It locked the gate and left,” Rubenstein noted. “That should have been the end of the story. But the Israeli military got a tip: Hamas had a military base in a tunnel under UNRWA’s headquarters. The IDF uncovered the tunnel; it was more than 2000 feet long. The tunnel was a Hamas command center, intelligence base, and server farm. The electricity for the computers underground came from UNRWA’s headquarters above ground. After the IDF left UNRWA’s headquarters, Hamas came back and turned it into a military base.”
“There is no excuse at this point for not knowing how UNRWA is an integral part of the Hamas military machine,” he declared. “UNRWA is a Hamas front.”
“‘Israel’s criminal attack on the UN continues without any consequences. High time to take action against Israel including through unseating from the UN, as was done with apartheid South Africa,” the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right To Housing raved.

In March, UN Watch’s Hillel Neuer blasted Albanese for her vicious attack on Israel in which she called Israel’s attack on Hamas in Gaza a “genocide” and compared Israel to Nazi Germany.
Albanese intoned to the UN, “Following nearly six months of unrelenting Israeli assault on occupied Gaza, it is my solemn duty to report on the worst of what humanity is capable of and to present my finding: ‘The Anatomy Of A Genocide.’ The colonial amnesia of the West has condoned Israel’s colonial settler project from the violent history of the very birth of the State of Israel.”
Albanese then tried to turn the Palestinian slogan that calls for the eradication of Israel into a demand for equal rights, saying, “People around the world are taking to the streets, gathering, protesting, and demanding equal rights of all &#8216;from the river to the sea.&#8217;”
She then likened Israel’s defense of the state and its attack on the terrorist group Hamas that perpetrated the horrific October 7 massacre of more than 1200 people on Israeli soil to the Holocaust in which the Nazis murdered six million Jews in an attempt to wipe the Jewish people from history.
“The Israeli project is not only apartheid but aims at a final solution,” she claimed.
Neuer then fired back:

The United Nations condemned Israel on Tuesday over a rescue operation that saved four hostages from Hamas over the weekend.
The U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights released a statement that suggested Israel may have committed war crimes during the operation. At least some civilians were killed, though the total number is unknown, after Israeli commandos’ cover was blown and fighting broke out during the rescue.
“We are profoundly shocked at the impact on civilians of the Israeli forces’ operation in An Nuseirat at the weekend to secure the release of four hostages. Hundreds of Palestinians, many of them civilians, were reportedly killed and injured,” spokesman Jeremy Laurence said in a <a href="https://www.ohchr.org/en/press-briefing-notes/2024/06/shock-impact-civilians-israeli-raid-gaza-free-hostages" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a>, referencing fatality stats put out by Hamas-controlled groups. The Associated Press recently <a href="https://apnews.com/article/israel-palestinians-hamas-war-casualties-toll-65e18f3362674245356c539e4bc0b67a" target="_blank" rel="noopener">found</a> that Hamas’ civilian death data has been unreliable.
“The manner in which the raid was conducted in such a densely populated area seriously calls into question whether the principles of distinction, proportionality and precaution – as set out under the laws of war – were respected by the Israeli forces,” Laurence said.
“Our Office is also deeply distressed that Palestinian armed groups continue to hold many hostages, most of them civilians, which is prohibited by international humanitarian law. Furthermore, by holding hostages in such densely populated areas, the armed groups doing so are putting the lives of Palestinian civilians, as well as the hostages themselves, at added risk from the hostilities,” the spokesman added. “All these actions, by both parties, may amount to war crimes.”

Two Israeli commando teams infiltrated Nuseirat, an area still controlled by Hamas in Gaza. The commandos were conducting a rescue operation to free four hostages, one woman and three men, who were being held in two apartments in the city, according to <a href="https://www.wsj.com/world/middle-east/how-israel-saved-a-hostage-rescue-mission-that-nearly-failed-eab2a010" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Wall Street Journal</a>.
The commando units pulled off the raid around midday on Saturday, successfully getting undetected to the doors of the apartments where the hostages were held. In freeing the hostages, the commando units’ cover was blown, starting a firefight between Israeli forces and Hamas terrorists in the area. Civilians were reportedly killed in the crossfire.
All four hostages – Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrei Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv – were evacuated safely after being held by Hamas and its Palestinian allies for months since October 7. An Israeli commando squad leader, Arnon Zamora, was killed during the operation.

UN Accuses Israel Of Possible ‘War Crimes’ Over Hostage Rescue Operation

On Monday, the Biden administration will once again undermine the government of Israel, as a vote will be taken on its resolution to the U.N. Security Council that would demand Israel immediately implement a ceasefire, just two days after the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/israeli-special-forces-rescue-4-hostages-in-raids-on-2-hamas-locations" target="_blank" rel="noopener">spectacular Israeli operation</a> in which they rescued four hostages.
The resolution cites the “importance of the ongoing diplomatic efforts by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States aimed at reaching a comprehensive ceasefire deal, consisting of three phases,&#8221; then states that it “Welcomes the new ceasefire proposal announced on May 31, which Israel accepted, calls upon Hamas to also accept it, and urges both parties to fully implement its terms without delay and without condition.”
But Israel never accepted the ceasefire deal Biden posted on May 31, when he claimed on social media, “Israel has now offered a roadmap to an enduring ceasefire – and the release of all the hostages. Yesterday, this proposal was transmitted by Qatar to Hamas. Today, I want to lay out its terms for the world.&#8221; Biden posted a graphic that included three phases, as follows:

But Israeli Prime Minister <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/benjamin-netanyahu">Benjamin Netanyahu&#8217;s</a> office immediately debunked that claim, saying that the actual Israeli proposal allowed “Israel to continue the war until all its objectives are achieved, including the destruction of Hamas&#8217;s military and governing capabilities. The actual proposal put forward by Israel, including the conditional transition from one phase to the next, allows Israel to uphold these principles.”
Nearly 12 hours later, Netanyahu&#8217;s office issued a second statement that was even more pointed in countering Biden&#8217;s claims.
“Israel&#8217;s conditions for ending the war have not changed: The destruction of Hamas military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel,” the statement said. “Under the proposal, Israel will continue to insist these conditions are met before a permanent ceasefire is put in place. The notion that Israel will agree to a permanent ceasefire before these conditions are fulfilled is a non-starter.”

In a video from 2017 that is making the rounds on social media this week, Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, took to the floor at the United Nations to denounce the Palestinian Authority, saying it is the “greatest enemy of the Palestinian people.”
In late-September 2017, Yousef spoke before the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), which last October appointed the representative of Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, as chair of its social forum. The UNHRC’s anti-Israel bias has been clear for years. <a href="https://unwatch.org/2022-2023-unga-resolutions-on-israel-vs-rest-of-the-world/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">According</a> to the UN Watch Database, between 2006 and 2022, the UNHRC adopted 99 resolutions against Israel, 41 against Syria, 13 against Iran, four against Russia, and three against Venezuela. In April, it passed a resolution demanding an arms embargo on Israel.
“My name is Mosab Hassan Yousef; I grew up in Ramallah as a member of Hamas,” Yousef began. “I address the words to the Palestinian Authority, which claims to be the ‘sole legitimate representative” of the Palestinian people. I ask, where does your legitimacy come from? The Palestinian people did not elect you and they did not appoint you to represent them. You are self-appointed; your accountability is not to your own people. This is evidenced by your own total violation for their human rights.”
“In fact, the Palestinian individual and their human development is the least of your concerns,” he continued. “You kidnap Palestinian students from campus and torture them in your jails. You <a href="https://www.hrw.org/news/2022/06/30/palestine-impunity-arbitrary-arrests-torture" target="_blank" rel="noopener">torture your political rivals</a>. The suffering of the Palestinian people is the outcome of your selfish political interests.”

Israel&#8217;s official X account shared video on Tuesday of armed gunmen — who were believed to be Hamas terrorists — inside a United Nations-affiliated Palestinian aid compound in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rafah" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rafah</a>.
In the <a href="https://twitter.com/Israel/status/1790450075782525371" target="_blank" rel="noopener">video</a>, which was captured by an Israel Defense Forces drone, showed the gunmen casually walking about inside the UNRWA compound and interacting with people who were standing near and operating vehicles labeled &#8220;UN.&#8221;
Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner also shared the video, challenging the United Nations to answer for what it showed.

The United Nations recently — and quietly — revised the casualty numbers coming out of Gaza amid the ongoing war between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas, prompting questions about the reporting from Gaza and whether any of it could be trusted.
According to multiple sources, adjustments were quietly made to the casualty count — regarding those killed in Gaza during the ongoing conflict — as more and more of the dead have been positively identified. Those adjustments suggest that Gaza&#8217;s Hamas-controlled Health Ministry has grossly inflated the number of women and children who have been killed.

According to the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), on May 6, some 9,500 women and 14,500 children were reported to have been killed in Gaza since the October 7 Hamas terror attacks on Israel. Less than a week later, those numbers had dropped significantly to 5,000 women and 8,000 children, the National Post <a href="https://nationalpost.com/news/world/israel-middle-east/united-nations-halves-estimate-of-women-and-children-killed-in-gaza">reported</a>.
According to David Adesnik, director of research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), that change could be the result of the UN adopting a different source of information. He noted that prior to May 6, the UN had cited the Hamas-controlled Government Media Office as a source for the casualty numbers — but more recently, they had not cited the GMO.
&#8220;So you see May 6 and before, the GMO (is listed as a source); all of a sudden, May 8, they don’t cite a source,&#8221; Adesnik said, suggesting that the UN was relying on the Gaza Health Ministry instead — despite the fact that Hamas controls that as well. &#8220;So clearly here we’ve done a switch from GMO’s big number, which never had any clear basis elaborated; like they just offered nothing but their own assertion. Whereas the Health Ministry does more to back its stuff up.&#8221;
A number of critics pointed out that relying on any numbers influenced by Hamas terrorists was likely a mistake.

Shifting UN Casualty Numbers Raise Questions: Can Any Reports From Gaza Be Trusted?

A United Nations official was duped by an invitation and honorarium offer from the satirical “Chief Rabbi of Gaza” to speak to anti-Israel protesters at Columbia University about the &#8220;Morality of Intifada.&#8221;
The parody X account “Rabbi Linda Goldstein,” known for using progressive anti-Israel talking points to mock them, emailed an invitation to Francesca Albanese, the UN’s Special Rapporteur on the Palestinian territories. 
“On behalf of the Gaza solidarity encampment at Columbia University, we wish to invite Special Rapporteur Albanese to deliver a keynote address at her convenience to the thousands of students gathered at the camp,” Goldstein wrote. “Many anti-Zionist Jews like myself have taken a leading role, and we would be honored to have you. I look forward to hearing from you.”
Email correspondences shared with The Daily Wire indicate that Albanese was willing to participate. Albanese’s research assistant, Eleonora De Martin, responded to the inquiry, asking for more details on the topic and the length. “In full solidarity with what you are doing, Ms Albanese would like to know some more details on her intervention,” De Martin replied.

Albanese is an outspoken critic of Israel who was barred from Israel in February after she contended that French President Emanuel Macron was wrong for <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/macron-hosts-memorial-for-oct-7-the-biggest-antisemitic-massacre-of-our-century/">labeling</a> the October 7 terrorist attack the “biggest anti-Semitic massacre of our century.” She instead said the attack was “launched as a way to break the occupation against apartheid.” 
In February, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/embattled-un-official-doubles-down-at-harvard-says-israel-has-no-right-to-self-defense">Albanese spoke to</a> Harvard University students that Israel did not have a right to defend itself from Hamas terrorists who were raping, murdering, and burning homes and people.
“It didn’t have the right to act in self-defense, meaning waging a war because it couldn’t wage a war against the people it maintains under occupation,” she said. “What Israel had to do was to repel the attack on its own territory, arrest and detain and treat humanely the people who had been arrested and ensure justice.”
Her assistant maintained interest, even after being told it was a speech defending &#8220;intifada.&#8221;
“[W]e want to hear about the ‘Morality of the Intifada,’ which Zionists have co-opted and turned into a dirty word,” Goldstein wrote. “There is also a small honorarium available.”
De Martin responded days later, asking if Albanese could speak on May 7. “If I understood correctly, you would like Ms Albanese to deliver a keynote speech of around 15/20 minutes to the students,” De Martin said. Regarding the honorarium, De Martin said Albanese could not accept only officially but asked for it to be transferred to the “fellowship of her volunteer.”
“Moreover, concerning the honorarium, she cannot take honorarium for anything she does in her official capacity,” De Martin wrote. “However, she kindly asks for this honorarium to be transferred to the Fellowship of her volunteer which supports her mandate work. Could you please provide some detail on the sum of the honorarium? The research institute will then send you the invoice for payment.”
Sara Troian, another research assistant for Albanese, told the Daily Wire that the special rapporteur &#8220;never agreed to Linda Goldstein&#8217;s request,&#8221; even though emails show her team asked for a Zoom link. She added that she wanted the honorarium to be sent to her university to fund her work.
&#8220;Regarding the honorarium, there seems to be some confusion: it was me proposing that it would be sent to my University for the purpose to fund my fellowship,&#8221; Troian wrote. &#8220;The Erasmus University of Rotterdam, which hosts me as a Research Fellow, collects funds from individual donors with the only purpose of accompanying the Special Rapporteur in her country-missions. My work of support to the Special Rapporteur&#8217;s mandate is fully voluntary and I do not get paid for it.&#8221;

De Martin stopped replying after Goldstein asked if the honorarium could be donated to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) instead.
“Is it okay if it’s donated to UNRWA in her honor instead?” Goldstein wrote. “Since I was displaced from Gaza as Chief Rabbi after October 7 it’s near and dear to us.” 
Troin said Albanese&#8217;s team did not respond to the last message because they realized Goldstein &#8220;was not a reliable account.&#8221;
&#8220;We simply did not respond because of the nature of the request and because we had expressly been told by the Special Rapporteur, when we had the chance to fully brief her, that a) she would not receive any donation for any cause; and b) she would not speak at student rallies unless requested by Special Rapporteurs who are engaging with students,&#8221; Troin wrote. &#8220;The reason why there has been no further correspondence is because we blocked Linda Goldstein&#8217;s account following the discovery that it was not a reliable account.&#8221;

The character told The Daily Wire that she was disappointed that Albanese backed out of the speaking engagement.
“Francesca Albanese claims to care about the plight of Palestinians, but it’s clear she was just chasing an honorarium that was no longer available once Columbia’s Gaza Encampment was broken up,” Goldstein said. “As the most prominent supporter of Palestine in the world, I thought she would care to amplify the voices of students protesting for a Free Palestine.”
“I want her to teach the world that Intifadas can at times be peaceful,” Goldstein said. “Globalizing the intifada will make Zionists uncomfortable everywhere, not just in occupied Palestine.”

On Wednesday, Russia <a href="https://www.axios.com/2024/04/24/russia-nuclear-weapons-space-un-resolution">vetoed</a> a UN Security Council resolution proposed by the United States and Japan reaffirming the obligation of countries that signed the Outer Space Treaty not to place nuclear weapons in orbit around the Earth. The resolution would ban member states from developing nuclear weapons specifically designed to be placed in orbit.
The Outer Space Treaty was signed in 1967. The treaty added new provisions to the Declaration of Legal Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, adopted by the General Assembly in 1963. States Parties to the Treaty undertake not to place in orbit around the earth any objects carrying nuclear weapons or any other kinds of weapons of mass destruction, install such weapons on celestial bodies, or station such weapons in outer space in any other manner. The moon and other celestial bodies shall be used by all States Parties to the Treaty exclusively for peaceful purposes. The establishment of military bases, installations and fortifications, the testing of any type of weapons and the conduct of military maneuvers on celestial bodies shall be forbidden.

“We have heard President Putin say publicly that Russia has no intention of deploying nuclear weapons in space. If that were the case, Russia would not have vetoed this resolution,” National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2024/04/24/statement-from-national-security-advisor-jake-sullivan-on-russias-veto-of-the-un-security-council-resolution-on-the-outer-space-treaty/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stated</a>.
“Russia is developing a space-based military capability that members of Congress and U.S. officials worry could pose a significant threat to the United States and its allies, possibly by damaging critical intelligence or communications satellites with a nuclear weapon, according to officials familiar with the matter,” The Washington Post <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2024/02/14/national-security-threat-mike-turner/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> in mid-February.
At that time, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby <a href="https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/press-briefings/2024/02/15/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-karine-jean-pierre-and-white-house-national-security-communications-advisor-john-kirby-3/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">commented</a>, “This is not an active capability that’s been deployed. And though Russia’s pursuit of this particular capability is troubling, there is no immediate threat to anyone’s safety. We are not talking about a weapon that can be used to attack human beings or cause physical destruction here on Earth. That said, we’ve been closely monitoring this Russian activity and we will continue to take it very seriously.”
“Russia conducted a direct-ascent hit-to-kill anti-satellite (ASAT) test on November 15, 2021, striking a Russian satellite and rendering it into more than 1,500 pieces of orbital debris. Reacting to the test, U.S. Space Command commander Army Gen. An international organization working in partnership with the United Nations is hiring a “flight management” position to facilitate travel by migrants into the interior of the United States, according to a job posting.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM), an intergovernmental organization classified as a “related organization” in partnership with the UN, is hoping to hire people to function as the “operations focal point” for “flight management” to assist with the flying of foreign nationals throughout the country, the <a href="https://www.glassdoor.com/job-listing/operations-focal-point-flight-management-international-organization-for-migration-JV_IC1155583_KO0,40_KE41,81.htm?jl=1008940556470">job description</a> states.
The role appears to be to facilitate the entire process of migrating into the United States. Among the responsibilities associated with the role are to “brief arrivals on procedures,” “escort them to the immigration area,” and “assist arrivals through procedures and ensure Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stamps all relevant documents.”
Flight management personnel must also “communicate with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and resolve issues as they arise in coordination with the Senior Operations Assistant” while also ensuring migrants are “escorted to their connecting flights, ground transportation or hotel.” IOM is hiring flight management staff in multiple locations, including <a href="https://fa-evlj-saasfaprod1.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1001/requisitions/preview/10585/?locationId=300000000480126">Houston</a>, Texas and <a href="https://fa-evlj-saasfaprod1.fa.ocs.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1001/requisitions/preview/10482/?locationId=300000000480126">Atlanta</a>, Georgia for year-long terms at $5,500 per month.
The organization <a href="https://www.iom.int/mission">calls itself</a> “the leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society” before adding that it is “part of the United Nations system, as a related organization.” IOM specifically says that part of its mission is to help in “<a href="https://www.iom.int/who-we-are">facilitating migration</a>.”
IOM receives the bulk of its funding from the U.S. government, which gave the organization <a href="https://www.iom.int/donor-relations">$942 million in 2022</a>. More recently the State Department <a href="https://www.state.gov/the-united-states-announces-humanitarian-assistance-for-the-western-hemisphere-regional-migration-program/">granted the organization</a> another $16 million in taxpayer funds. The organization garnered another $241 million from United Nations Organizations. IOM recently requested a whopping $7.9 billion from member states to fund its activities, including migrant resettlement across the globe.
The IOM did not respond to a request for comment.
The Center for Immigration Studies <a href="https://cis.org/Bensman/Government-Admission-Biden-Parole-Flights-Create-Security-Vulnerabilities-US-Airports">discovered</a> through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit that 320,000 “inadmissible aliens” flew into the U.S. in 2023, taking advantage of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s One mobile app. While it is unknown where exactly the migrants were sent, Bensman’s report found that they arrived at 43 different airports across the United States.
Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) recently proposed an amendment that would prevented federal funds from being used by the Biden administration to fly illegal immigrants into the interior of the United States. The measure was shot down, with every single Democrat in the U.S. Senate <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/all-senate-dems-vote-against-stopping-taxpayer-money-for-illegal-immigrant-flights-into-u-s">voting against</a> it.
The United States also currently faces an unprecedented immigration crisis on the southern border, with officials recording about 9 million <a href="https://www.cbp.gov/newsroom/stats/nationwide-encounters">nationwide encounters</a> and 1.7 million <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-admin-may-have-lost-track-millions-of-migrants-crossing-southern-border-congressional-report">estimated gotaways</a> since President Joe Biden took office, as well as <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/laken-riley">high-profile</a> violent crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

On Wednesday at the United Nations, UN Watch’s Hillel Neuer blasted the anti-Israel UN Special Rapporteur, Francesca Albanese, for her vicious attack on Israel in which she called Israel’s attack on Hamas in Gaza a “genocide” and compared Israel to Nazi Germany.
Albanese intoned to the UN, “Following nearly six months of unrelenting Israeli assault on occupied Gaza, it is my solemn duty to report on the worst of what humanity is capable of and to present my finding: ‘The Anatomy Of A Genocide.’ The colonial amnesia of the West has condoned Israel’s colonial settler project from the violent history of the very birth of the State of Israel.”
Albanese then tried to turn the Palestinian slogan that calls for the eradication of Israel into a demand for equal rights, saying, “People around the world are taking to the streets, gathering, protesting, and demanding equal rights of all &#8216;from the river to the sea.&#8217;”
She then likened Israel’s defense of the state and its attack on the terrorist group Hamas that perpetrated the horrific October 7 massacre of more than 1200 people on Israeli soil to the Holocaust in which the Nazis murdered six million Jews in an attempt to wipe the Jewish people from history.
“The Israeli project is not only apartheid but aims at a final solution,” she claimed.
Neuer then fired back:
