Popular podcast host Joe Rogan unloaded on Governor Josh Green (D-HI) over comments he made about future plans for the land destroyed during the recent wildfires that ravaged Maui&#8217;s west coast and devastated the historic village of Lahaina.

&#8220;A governor going on television after a massive tragedy, where you have — we don&#8217;t even know the number of people dead yet,&#8221; Rogan said. &#8220;You have this massive area that&#8217;s been burnt to the ground, and then he starts talking about taking it over for the state.&#8221;
&#8220;That&#8217;s an insane position to take, post tragedy — when people are suffering at their most, they can&#8217;t even believe it happened,&#8221; Rogan continued. &#8220;And then all of the sudden he&#8217;s saying we&#8217;re going to take it for the state and make a memorial? How about give the f***ing people their homes back?&#8221;
Rogan was responding to a news clip of Green, who told Hawaii&#8217;s KHON2 News about his plans for preserving Lahaina: &#8220;I&#8217;m already looking for ways for the state to acquire that land so we can put it into work force housing, we can put it back into families, or to make it open spaces in perpetuity as a memorial for people who were lost.&#8221;
Green later clarified that the goal was to prevent wealthy people from overseas from coming in and snapping up the land — which was why he had suggested the state should take it and preserve it first.

Gabbard agreed with Rogan&#8217;s assessment on that particular point, and also criticized President Joe Biden&#8217;s overall response to the disaster.

&#8220;The American people need to recognize very clearly what is happening here, the threat to our democracy and we have to make the decision to put a stop to this, to not allow this to go on,&#8221; she added. &#8220;Because otherwise, we&#8217;ll find ourselves in a situation in the United States of America where this is now the new norm. Whatever party becomes the party in power will say,  &#8216;Hey, look, the last guy did this. Gabbard, now an Independent and a Fox News contributor, interviewed Santos while guest hosting Tucker Carlson&#8217;s show.
&#8220;The thing is, Congressman-elect, integrity means, yes, carrying yourself with honor, but it means — it means telling the truth, being a person of integrity,&#8221; Gabbard said. &#8220;And if I were one of those in New York&#8217;s 3rd district right now, now that the election is over, and I’m finding out all of these lies that you’ve told — not just one little lie or one little embellishment — these are blatant lies.&#8221;
&#8220;My question is, do you have no shame?&#8221; Gabbard pressed.
Santos responded by pointing the finger at Democrats, saying that they lie, too.

But even when politicians do get caught, people just shrug their shoulders and move on. No big deal, no consequences.
Few examples: Dick Blumenthal lied about his military service. And, of course, Elizabeth Warren, she lied about having Native American heritage.
So, no one should be surprised that the American people don&#8217;t trust these politicians. They’ve got no faith that those in Washington are actually working for the people when they’re so clearly working for themselves.
Now, there are new accusations that George Santos, who was just elected to represent New York in Congress in the past election, has actually been lying extensively about his own past. Now, he admits to some of these deceptions.
For example, Santos acknowledges that he, quote, embellished his resume by saying that he graduated from Baruch College — but he didn&#8217;t. Santos has also admitted he never actually worked for Citigroup and Goldman Sachs even though his website suggested that he did.
Additionally, Santos once called himself a proud Jew. But in an interview with the New York Post, Santos now he says, quote, I am Catholic. Because I learned my maternal family had a Jewish background, I said I was Jew-ish.
There are other accusations. But now, we have the opportunity to hear directly from George Santos himself. This is his very first TV interview since these accusations surfaced.
George Santos joins us now.
Congressman-elect Santos, thank you for joining us today.
The first question I really want to ask you now that all of this has been revealed is: what does the word &#8220;integrity&#8221; mean to you?
REP.-ELECT GEORGE SANTOS (R-NY): Well, Tulsi, thank you for having me.
You know, to answer your question &#8212; integrity is very important. And like I said to the New York Post, embellishment my resume was a mistake —

GABBARD: What does it mean, though? What does it mean? Because the meaning of the word actually matters in practice.
SANTOS: Of course. It means to carry yourself in an honorable way.
And I made a mistake. And I think humans are flawed and we all make mistakes, Tulsi. I think we can all look at ourselves in the mirror and admit that once in our life, we made a mistake.
I’m having to admit this on national television for the whole country to see, and I have the courage to do so because I believe that in order to move past this and move forward and be an effective member of Congress, I have to face my mistakes. And I’m facing them.
The reality is, is that I remain committed to doing everything I set forward in my campaign. I’m not a fraud. I’m not a fake. I didn&#8217;t materialize from thin air.
I worked damn hard to get where I got my entire life. Life wasn’t easy. It didn&#8217;t start off easy. As I’ve said it many, many times, I come from abject poverty.
I made some mistakes and I own up to them. And now, I want to put this past me &#8212;
GABBARD: The thing is &#8212;
SANTOS: &#8212; so I can deliver for the American people.

SANTOS: Tulsi, I can say the same thing about the Democrats and the party. Look at Joe Biden. Joe Biden’s been lying to the American people for 40 years. He is the President of the United States. Democrats resoundly support him.
Do they have no shame? Look, I’ve made this very clear. I made &#8212; I made a mistake.

GABBARD: This is &#8212; this is not &#8212; this is not about the Democratic Party, though. This is about your relationship &#8212;
SANTOS: No, I understand.
GABBARD: &#8212; frankly, with the people who’ve entrusted to you go and fight for them. And I think one of the questions that really probably hits home to a lot of people is: are you Jewish?
We’ve got a letter that your campaign sent out earlier this year which reads as follows. “As a proud American Jew, I’ve been to Israel numerous times for educational, business and leisurely trips.” You said there in that letter that you are, quote, a proud American Jew.
How do you &#8212; how do you explain that?
SANTOS: My heritage is Jewish. I’ve always identified as Jewish. I was raised a practicing Catholic. I think I’ve gone through this.
Even not &#8212; not being raised a practicing Jew, I’ve always joked with friends in circles, even with &#8212; in the campaign, I said say, guys, I’m Jew-ish. Remember I was raised Catholic.
So, look, I understand. Everybody wants to nitpick at me.
I’m going to reassure this once and for all &#8212; I’m not a facade. I’m not a persona. I have an extensive career that I worked really hard to achieve. And I’m going to deliver from my experience because I remain committed in delivering results for the American people.
I campaigned on inflation. I campaigned on crime. I campaigned on education. I campaigned on delivering results for the American people. That&#8217;s what the people of the 3rd congressional district heard me on and on as I campaigned.
Now, it’s going to be incumbent upon me to deliver on those results. And I look forward to servicing &#8212; servicing &#8212;

GABBARD: &#8212; are called into question when you tell blatant lies, not embellishment.
And this is &#8212; this is I think one of the biggest concerns, Congressman-elect, is that you don&#8217;t really seem to be taking this seriously. You’ve apologized. You said you’ve made mistakes, but you’ve outright lie (ph).
A lie is not an embellishment on a resume. You said you worked at Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, but they’ve said we’ve got no record of this guy working for us. You’ve said you’ve gone to and graduated from these universities, but they’ve said, well, we’ve got no record of that.
These are blatant lies and it calls into question how your constituents and the American people can believe anything that you may say when you were standing on the floor of the House of Representatives supposedly fighting for them. That’s the real issue here.
SANTOS: Well, look, and I agree with what you’re saying. And as I stated and I continue, we can debate my resume and how I worked with firms such as Goldman and Citigroup or my &#8212;

GABBARD: Is it debatable or is it just false? Is it debatable or is it just false?

SANTOS: It’s very debatable. No. No, it&#8217;s not false at all. It’s debatable.
I can &#8212; I can sit down and explain to you what you can do in private equity, in capital … (ph) via servicing limited partners and general partners.
And we can have this discussion that’s going to go way above the American people’s head. But that’s not what I campaigned on. I campaigned on delivering results &#8212;
GABBARD: Wow.
SANTOS: &#8212; for the people American people by lowering inflation. I can sit down and if you want to have that discussion, I’d be glad to, Tulsi, to explain that to you and make sure &#8212;
GABBARD: Congressman-elect &#8212;
SANTOS: &#8212; that we settle the score.
GABBARD: This is not about settling scores. And I think you just &#8212; you just kind of highlighted, I think, my concern and the concern that people at home have. You’re saying that this discussion will go way above the heads of the American people, basically insulting their intelligence. So, not only are you now backtracking on these lies &#8212;
SANTOS: That&#8217;s not &#8212; that’s not what I’m saying.
GABBARD: &#8212; that you’ve told &#8212;

And we worked along side GPs and LPs to help them place this capital.
This is what I was doing and that’s when I worked extensively with these firms and many other firms at my time as I was vice-president of Linkford (ph) Investors.
So, this isn’t &#8212; this isn’t a made up narrative. But I feel like nobody really wants to sit down and talk about it. Everybody just wants to push me and call me a liar.

Her most recent effort offered an unexpected endorsement with Gabbard appearing in a new re-election ad for South Dakota Republican Governor Kristi Noem released on Tuesday.

We believe in defending freedom and protecting what makes this country so special,&#8221; Gabbard says in the ad. &#8220;Kristi loves South Dakota and fights against extreme policies that Jamie Smith supports, like raising taxes, mandating vaccines, and taking away your gun rights.&#8221;

Vulnerable Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) made an attempt on Saturday to use former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (HI) — who recently severed ties with the Democratic Party — to tie her Republican opponent to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Spanberger has a tenuous hold on her seat in Virginia&#8217;s 7th Congressional District — a seat once held by former Congressmen Eric Cantor (R-VA) and Dave Brat (R-VA).  Gabbard said she’ll speak her mind at Walsh’s Friday “<a href="https://tickets.dailywire.com/rally">Rally to End Child Mutilation,</a>&#8221; an event aimed at ending the practice of performing irreversible medical procedures on minors. The U.S. Army Reserve officer, who did a 12-month tour in Iraq before serving four terms representing Hawaii in the House of Representatives, said radical gender theory has gone too far and now threatens children.
“Women fought for the right to compete on a level playing field in sports when they faced discrimination on the basis of sex,” Gabbard said. “Now, the progress women and girls have made is being eroded, and so-called woke gender ideology poses a unique threat to children who are not old enough to make such permanent, irreversible decisions.”

The rally will take place at the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tennessee">Tennessee</a> state capitol. Walsh, whose hit documentary “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/what-is-a-woman">What is a Woman?</a>” took aim at the radical gender theory that claims adults and even small children can change their biological sex, said Gabbard will join a host of compelling speakers.
“Our rally against gender ideology madness and child mutilation is on Friday. Speakers include Senator Marsha Blackburn, Colin Wright, Scott Newgent and Chloe Cole. I’m excited to announce [Tulsi Gabbard] will be speaking as well. The movement is growing,” Walsh announced Tuesday on Twitter.
The rally, which starts at 4 p.m. on October 21 at the War Memorial Plaza outside the state capitol building, follows Walsh’s exposé of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/vanderbilt-university">Vanderbilt</a> Pediatric Gender Clinic’s transgender treatment on minors.
Gabbard, who <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/tulsi-shreds-critics-of-her-bill-to-keep-biological-men-out-of-womens-sports-its-based-on-science">introduced a bill</a> in Congress in December 2020 that would have banned biological males from competing in women’s sports, recently left the Democratic Party, calling it an “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/elite-cabal-of-warmongers-tulsi-gabbard-says-she-is-no-longer-a-democrat">elite cabal of warmongers</a>.”
Aside from Blackburn, other Tennessee state lawmakers, including Republican House Majority Leader William Lamberth and state Senator Jack Johnson.
Tennessee Republican Governor Bill Lee <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/matt-walsh-announces-rally-to-end-child-mutilation">told</a> The Daily Wire late last month that he was working with Lamberth and Johnson on legislation to stop irreversible chemical and surgical operations on gender dysphoric children, which can include breast amputation. Vanderbilt University Medical Center earlier this month placed a moratorium on such procedures.
“We should not allow permanent, life altering decisions that hurt children, like we saw on display at VUMC,” Casey Sellers, a spokeswoman for Lee, said in a statement to The Daily Wire. “The Governor is in communication with Leader Johnson and Leader Lamberth about legislative solutions, and we look forward to working with them and many other Tennesseans who are passionate about protecting children.”

Gabbard also announced the event on her own social media Monday night with an explanation behind her plans to participate.
&#8220;For too long establishment leaders from both parties have sought to enrich themselves, play games, and build up their power while ignoring and even enabling the suffering of millions of hard-working Americans. Kari Lake is a leader who puts people first, is fighting for border security, energy independence, public safety, and other policies that actually make life better and more affordable for the American people,&#8221; Gabbard <a href="https://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard/status/1582227280113172481" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweeted</a>.
The former Hawaiian Democratic representative also claimed Lake is not afraid to speak out against mainstream media.
&#8220;Kari Lake isn’t afraid to call out the warmongering elitist cabal of permanent Washington and the Military Industrial Complex, and their propagandists in the mainstream media. I look forward to supporting @KariLake ahead of these critical midterm elections,&#8221; she wrote.
The event is also scheduled to include Republican state attorney general candidate Abraham Hamadeh.
Lake and Masters were both also endorsed by former President Donald Trump in their primaries.
Both candidates face close races in November. Lake faces Democrat Katie Hobbs, the current Arizona secretary of state, in a contest ranked as a toss up by multiple polls.
Hobbs has faced <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrat-katie-hobbs-says-she-wont-debate-republican-kari-lake-for-az-governor" target="_blank" rel="noopener">criticism</a> for refusing to debate Lake ahead of the election. In September, her campaign dismissed any debate, referring to Lake as a conspiracy theorist.
“Unfortunately, debating a conspiracy theorist like Kari Lake – whose entire campaign platform is to cause enormous chaos and make Arizona the subject of national ridicule – would only lead to constant interruptions, pointless distractions, and childish name-calling,” Hobbs campaign manager Nicole DeMont said in a <a href="https://katiehobbs.org/katie-hobbs-campaign-responds-to-citizens-clean-elections-commission/">statement</a>. “We must respectfully decline the invitation” to debate.
Masters is currently <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2022/senate/Arizona.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">listed</a> as trailing Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly by an average of 4.5%, according to RealClearPolitics. Kelly has been heavily criticized about his voting record on issues related to the border crisis.

Actor and comedian <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rob-schneider" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rob Schneider</a> said during an interview Wednesday morning that he left the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/democratic-party" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Democratic Party</a> because of how they want to meddle in every aspect of people&#8217;s lives and because they are becoming more and more extreme in their views.
Schneider made the remarks during a Fox News interview on &#8220;FOX &amp; friends&#8221; that started off by getting his reaction on former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard&#8217;s (D-HI) decision to leave the Democratic Party.
&#8220;It shouldn&#8217;t be such a shock. We don&#8217;t get ten parties, you get two. And I really feel like I don&#8217;t want the Democratic Party trying to run my life,&#8221; he said. &#8220;And there&#8217;s not one aspect of your life that they don&#8217;t want to interfere with. So I had it with them. So I got out of California and moved to the slightly freer state of Arizona.&#8221;
When asked about what changed his mind about the party, Schneider said it was &#8220;taxes,&#8221; among many other things.
&#8220;I mean, Newsom pushed me over the edge,&#8221; said Schneider, in reference to his decision to leave the state. &#8220;I mean, it&#8217;s just like, I just don&#8217;t think your life gets better there. It gets worse.&#8221;
He mocked the homelessness crisis in San Francisco, saying the city either had a &#8220;a huge homeless problem or gigantic camping success story.&#8221;
Schneider said that as he has gotten older, he has started worrying more about the types of freedoms that his children and his grandchildren will be able to have.
&#8220;You know something&#8217;s wrong when people say, like, if you put God and family and country first, that&#8217;s somehow controversial,&#8221; he said. &#8220;How is that controversial? So I think at a certain point, you have to say, enough of this, and stand up to it.&#8221;
Schneider said that people need to go with whatever political party feels right to them and that they should not be worried about what anyone else says — although he warned that the political Left was full of &#8220;a mob of ideologues&#8221; that will &#8220;attack you&#8221; if you get out of line.

&#8220;The thing about my exchange with her on that debate stage and you take a step back you got to question all those things I brought up on her record,&#8221; Gabbard said. &#8220;Easily Googleable on the first page when you look at Kamala Harris record, I didn&#8217;t have to dig very deep to see those issues and problems were with her record.&#8221;
&#8220;So, then the question is hey, why didn&#8217;t anybody in the media ask her these questions about the record that she said &#8216;I&#8217;m so proud of my record &#8230;'&#8221; she added. &#8220;No one in the media did that. There&#8217;s no other candidate on the debate stage who had the balls to bring that up.&#8221;
&#8220;How are voters supposed to be able to make their best informed decision when the media and fellow Democratic candidates who are running, who are her opponents in that race, don&#8217;t have the courage to ask a very factual question on a record that she says she&#8217;s proud of?&#8221; Gabbard continued.
Rogan asked whether she thought there was a &#8220;concerted effort to hide that information&#8221; or that people just thought, &#8220;if I do that then it&#8217;s going to f*** up my future&#8221; in the party.
Gabbard said she didn&#8217;t have the answer why nobody in the media or Democrat Party had &#8220;the courage to ask  her those questions.&#8221; But said if she were to guess it was because the vice president has &#8220;friends in high places,&#8221; because &#8220;she&#8217;s a woman of color, and no one wants to be seen as the person attacking a woman of color who&#8217;s running for president.&#8221;
&#8220;She was connected,&#8221; Gabbard said of Harris. &#8220;She&#8217;s playing the game. She&#8217;s somebody that the Democratic Party knows that they can control.&#8221;

Tulsi Gabbard Tells Rogan That Harris Is ‘Somebody That The Democratic Party Knows That They Can Control’

Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard is set to campaign for a Republican Senate hopeful after announcing her departure from the Democratic Party on Tuesday.
Gabbard&#8217;s support of New Hampshire GOP Senate candidate Don Bolduc comes just one day after she said she is no longer a Democrat. Polls have Bolduc within striking distance of Hassan, with some speculating the Republican could pull off an upset.
“We don’t agree on every issue, but I am honored to have the support of Tulsi Gabbard who shares my view that the status quo is broken, and we need a change of direction,” Bolduc said in a statement.
“Tulsi is a fellow change agent and independent-minded outsider willing to speak truth to power. I am going to spend every day between now and Election Day building a wide coalition of supporters that includes Republicans, independents and even disaffected Democrats who know that Senator Hassan is a career politician and must be retired,” he added.
Bolduc is a retired Army brigadier general who won a close race against state Sen. Chuck Morse in the GOP primary. He currently slightly trails Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan in polls, with the incumbent averaging a 5.8% lead, <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2022/senate/nh/new-hampshire-senate-bolduc-vs-hassan-7379.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to RealClearPolitics.
The general also took to Twitter to announce a forthcoming slate of events with Gabbard.

Gabbard represented Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District after serving two combat tours in the Middle East. The former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate has been vocal in her criticisms of the Biden-Harris administration in recent months over Afghanistan, the border, and other concerns.
On Tuesday, she announced in a video posted to her social media accounts that she would cut ties with her political party.
“I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers who are driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoking anti-white racism, who actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution, who are hostile to people of faith and spirituality,” she said.

Gabbard boldly called for other Democrats to join her in leaving the party.
&#8220;I believe in a government that is of, by, and for the people. Unfortunately, today’s Democratic Party does not. Instead, it stands for a government of, by, and for the powerful elite,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;I’m calling on my fellow common sense independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me.&#8221;
The former Hawaiian congresswoman also recently <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/blatantly-lying-tulsi-torches-kamala-over-secure-border-claim" target="_blank" rel="noopener">criticized</a> Vice President Kamala Harris regarding her claim that the border is secure.
“Kamala Harris’ statement that ‘we have a secure border’ is further evidence that she’s either completely disconnected from reality or she’s blatantly lying,” Gabbard said, citing the vice president&#8217;s interview on NBC&#8217;s &#8220;Meet the Press.&#8221;
“Either way, she has no business being a heartbeat away from the presidency,&#8221; she added.
