Hollywood star Zachary Levi sat down with Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh this week and discussed coming out in support of President Donald Trump as well as the current state of Hollywood.
Speaking on “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/episode/mws-ep-1537">The Matt Walsh Show</a>” podcast in an episode that aired Friday, the 44-year-old actor said he knew he wanted to be an actor from a very young age because he wanted to make “people feel good.” And as he got older that same platform led him to feeling the need to “come out of the political closet” to support Trump in the election, despite the fear of being canceled.
“I think, overwhelmingly, it was more positive,” Levi said. “This isn&#8217;t just red versus blue because the reality is there&#8217;s people on the red and blue that actually are decent human beings that actually do want a better world. And there&#8217;s people on the red and blue who are not decent people, who are absolute swamp monsters. And so because of that, I haven&#8217;t really found any presidential candidate to be all that inspiring in all of my adult life. 
&#8220;I was intrigued by Trump in that he wasn&#8217;t a career politician, but I had enough of him and his brashness and kind of bullishness and the things that most people take umbrage with,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;But it certainly wasn’t Hillary [Clinton], [Joe] Biden, or Kamala [Harris].”
Levi admitted that if the Democratic Party had let Robert F. Kennedy Jr. run, he would’ve voted for a Democrat, but when he was kept off the ticket, Levi turned his support to Trump, whom Kennedy backed.

“And then Trump is nearly killed — and there, I think, all of us &#8230; in every party, on every level, every end of the spectrum, that was a massive, massive moment for Trump, particularly within that massive moment. I, and many others like me, saw this incredible God-inspired shift,” the actor said. “I think that was a miracle that Donald Trump lived.”
“But it brought a humility to Donald Trump that I don&#8217;t think existed in him before, at least not on that level,” he added. “And that&#8217;s something I need in a leader. &#8230; Because the alternative to me was not an option in the way that I know a lot of people on the other side felt the same way about Donald Trump.”
Levi said that’s why it didn’t matter what happened to his career, because “if I save my career, but Kamala gets into office and we continue down this death spiral to the bottom that I fully believe that we were on &#8230; I was like, I can&#8217;t. God did not build me to do that. God built me to fight.”
The “Chuck” star told Walsh he, thus far, has not been canceled, “try as some might.”
“So my team is all with me. I still have very good relationships with lots of people in the industry. I&#8217;ve lost some friends,&#8221; Levi said. “There are people that all of a sudden stop following me on social media and don&#8217;t return my calls and stuff, and it&#8217;s a bummer, but I still love them.”

“I still have plenty of other jobs in film and television and some podcast stuff that&#8217;s coming up and building the studio, and I got my baby on the way,” he added. “And I&#8217;m busy and blessed and grateful, not just that I followed the conviction that God put on my heart, but that it wasn&#8217;t ultimately in vain. And we actually did it.”
The conversation then turned to original storytelling in Hollywood, and Walsh asked Levi if it was dead with all the sequels and remakes or if it still had a chance.
“Man, I hope so,” Levi said. “I mean, if I have anything to do with that, absolutely. It&#8217;s one of the reasons why I felt very strongly 25 years ago when I started working in the industry, and I just saw how broken it all was. Even then there was the beginnings of this trend of let&#8217;s just go reboot this long, old series into a movie.”
The “Shazam!” star said he thinks Hollywood executives are pressured not only by whether the movie will make a lot of money, but also by what he called an “insane” sociopolitical agenda.
“I think a lot of people want to say that Hollywood is the one pushing a lot of the agenda that they don&#8217;t like, whatever that agenda is,” Levi said. “Certainly Hollywood is massively complicit in it, but I don&#8217;t know that these agendas even necessarily start in Hollywood.”
“Some of them might, but some of them are thinking, ‘What&#8217;s the hip, cool thing to do? What are we going to do so that people like us and we don&#8217;t get canceled?’” he added. “So I think because of that, you&#8217;re drawing in an executive class that&#8217;s going to serve those two masters. It&#8217;s money and agenda appearance, whatever that is.”
Levi also reflected on all the great things coming in his life, including his new film “The Unbreakable Boy,” which he said tackles autism “authentically and beautifully.”
&#8220;&#8216;The Unbreakable Boy&#8217; comes out February 21st,” Levi said about the true story. “Man, I&#8217;m proud of everything I&#8217;ve done on some level, very grateful for everything I&#8217;ve gotten to do. But I&#8217;m particularly proud of this film. It is a very grounded slice-of-life film. No superheroes, no big bang and anything like that.”
On Friday, <a href="https://x.com/PatriciaHeaton/status/1890476161521840403">Patricia Heaton</a> dropped some surprising news that she will also be appearing in Levi’s upcoming movie.

Here&#8217;s a statistic that, at least if you were born at any point prior to the 1990s, is probably pretty hard to believe. By revenue, the gaming industry is <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbesagencycouncil/2023/11/17/the-gaming-industry-a-behemoth-with-unprecedented-global-reach/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">bigger</a> than both the movie industry and the music industry — combined. And for the past several years, it hasn&#8217;t been particularly close. The difference is consistently more than $100 billion per year. Games are a massive market, one that&#8217;s mostly targeted at young people. But despite those numbers, for the most part, the games industry has avoided mainstream scrutiny. You&#8217;ll see far more discussion about, say, Sydney Sweeney or Taylor Swift than you&#8217;ll ever see about prominent video game voice actors and directors — who pretty much no one knows anything about. Everyone&#8217;s heard of Lionsgate, or Paramount, but almost no one&#8217;s heard of studios like &#8220;Don&#8217;t Nod Entertainment,&#8221; for example.
And that&#8217;s significant, because these no-name studios are behind the single most coordinated effort to indoctrinate millions of children through entertainment that&#8217;s ever occurred in this country. This effort is maybe more powerful than teachers&#8217; unions, if only because these propagandists mostly work in secret. Even if you homeschool your children, they&#8217;re not immune to it. You might have heard something about one of the companies behind this indoctrination effort, called &#8220;Sweet Baby Inc&#8221; or SBI. In a moment, I&#8217;ll get into the details about what exactly they&#8217;re doing, and who&#8217;s helping them do it.
But first, I want to get the good news out of the way. If there&#8217;s any silver lining, it&#8217;s that this effort to indoctrinate children is incredibly hamfisted. Some of the dumbest people in the world are behind it. Take that studio I just mentioned — &#8220;Don&#8217;t Nod Entertainment.&#8221; They&#8217;re behind the very popular &#8220;Life is Strange&#8221; video game series, which has been played by tens of millions of people. To give you an idea of how overt the propaganda is in &#8220;Life is Strange,&#8221; here&#8217;s just one, mercifully short sequence involving — what else — a racist white guy. There&#8217;s some backstory about how he kidnapped an innocent Hispanic kid or something:

&#8220;We need to build a wall,&#8221; says the white racist kidnapping the innocent Hispanic boy. This is a game that, if Wikipedia is to be believed, received &#8220;generally positive reviews. &#8230; Critics praised the story.&#8221;
So we can conclude that the bar is incredibly low in this entire industry. All that developers have to do is beat their audience over the head with rote Left-wing propaganda, and their game will be well-received. The more recent game &#8220;Suicide Squad&#8221; is another prominent example. They decided to write a story about Batman&#8217;s toxic masculinity, which ended with a girlboss shooting Batman. Here&#8217;s part of that sequence:

You can just imagine how many purple-haired women must work at that studio. They probably provide the hair dye on tap. I didn&#8217;t play that game, obviously. I haven&#8217;t played any of these games. I am not a video game fan or player, as most people I think know by now. But the point is that these clips were all over the internet because of how awful they are. They&#8217;re just terrible in every way — even just from a quality perspective — even if you happen to agree with their politics.

But the fact remains that, for children of a certain age, the propaganda doesn&#8217;t need to be subtle. All they need to do is present it to children, and it can be effective. That&#8217;s why some anonymous people using the games platform &#8220;Steam&#8221; decided to figure out exactly who&#8217;s putting this garbage in games, and why.
They found that the company I mentioned earlier, called &#8220;Sweet Baby Inc.&#8221; — no relation to the Sweet Baby Gang, I swear off any association and I would file a lawsuit for copyright infringement, if not for the fact that I don’t have a copyright, and also Sweet Baby Inc. existed first, technically, but never mind that — anyway, these people on Steam found that Sweet Baby Inc. has contracted with major publishers to push principles of DEI in video games, as aggressively as possible. Sweet Baby Inc., or SBI, worked with the developers of the game I just showed you, Suicide Squad. They&#8217;ve also had a role in several other major releases.
On their website, SBI boasts that they&#8217;re committed to installing principles of &#8220;diversity&#8221; into games. And they do it forcibly. In fact, the co-founder and CEO of SBI, a woman named Kim Belair, recently spoke to game developers and instructed them to threaten their companies unless they comply with Sweet Baby&#8217;s DEI mandates:

This is how DEI works in every industry, of course. The goal isn&#8217;t to improve the company&#8217;s product in any way. It&#8217;s to blackmail companies and threaten them into submission. Pay the DEI tax, or we&#8217;ll destroy you. Only in the games industry, where everyone is dumber than they are in every other industry, do they just come right out and say it.
Along these lines, as you might have guessed, so-called games journalists are somehow even dumber than journalists in other industries, too — which is really saying something. They&#8217;re completely unable to hide their real goals or display any hint of subtlety whatsoever. For example, in response to clips like this surfacing, games writers have produced several articles portraying SBI as the victim of a &#8220;harassment campaign&#8221; — by which they mean people are noticing what SBI is doing. For example, here&#8217;s how a writer for the website Polygon, Joshua Rivera, <a href="https://twitter.com/jmrivera02/status/1767600140695867472?s=20">responded</a> to people who are concerned about SBI: &#8220;In a just world these clowns would have their steam accounts turned off, their PlayStations bricked and get booted from any respectable social platform.&#8221;
So in the games industry, the journalists just come right out and demand that you&#8217;re deleted from the Internet if you dare to look deeper into their narrative. So let&#8217;s do that. In a recent podcast, Kim Belair explains that her company&#8217;s mandate is to make every game political. There has to be &#8220;diverse representation&#8221; in all contexts, even in, say, World War I:

So SBI wants to &#8220;build a narrative and a story that includes moments and elements custom-made to bring representation and joy to people.&#8221; And she uses the example of World War I. There weren&#8217;t a whole lot of women fighting on the front lines of World War I. But they shoehorn that into their game anyway, because at every possible opportunity, they need to minimize and demonize white men. White men cannot be the hero of anything, even historical events where they were the heroes, like World War I. The point is to attack white men whenever possible.
We&#8217;re seeing this at all levels in the gaming industry. Here, for example, is Dani Lalonders. She reportedly used <a href="https://twitter.com/stillgray/status/1767681553755509171">to work</a> at Sweet Baby Inc. just a year ago. Now she works for a studio at EA, one of the biggest games studios on the planet. Watch as she explains why she doesn&#8217;t hire white people on her team, because they commit all kinds of microaggressions:

Notice that she doesn&#8217;t say what the white microaggressions were. Maybe those nasty white people said something nice about her hair. Maybe they asked where she was from. Maybe they say, &#8220;Hey, cut that line of dialogue about building the wall — it&#8217;s a little too on the nose.&#8221; Who knows? In any event, this is an employee of a major games studio straight-up admitting that she doesn&#8217;t hire white people. This isn&#8217;t just unethical; it&#8217;s illegal. It&#8217;s the kind of thing that&#8217;s usually left unsaid in major corporations. But it&#8217;s standard practice in the games industry to just come right out and announce it. To give another example — also in response to the SBI story — a senior editor at the gaming site Kotaku wrote, &#8220;hi! you can&#8217;t be racist against white people! thanks for tuning in!&#8221;
The people writing this garbage are &#8220;true believers.&#8221; They&#8217;re the low-IQ foot soldiers. But the reason they&#8217;re so well-funded is more interesting. As the former games executive Mark Kern explained this week, the cost of producing games is extremely high. It&#8217;s higher than it&#8217;s ever been, in fact. So games studios are looking to raise money in any way possible. And one way to get a lot of money is through ESG financing:

What <a href="http://e.sg/">ESG</a> financing entails, Kern goes on to say, is that games studios have to agree to all kinds of conditions — including hiring companies like SBI to &#8220;diversify&#8221; their games.
In other words, what&#8217;s happening here is much bigger than SBI. It&#8217;s about the companies that fund SBI. That includes a fund called <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2Er7X1PSHM&amp;t=425s">Baby Ghosts</a>, which is also run by anti-white managers who are proud of their bigotry. It also includes the biggest institutional investors on the planet, like Vanguard and Blackrock, which own a substantial portion of gaming companies like Microsoft. These entities are creating the incentives. The only good news, as Kern points out later in that interview, is that ESG financing is drying up, in part because interest rates are changing. And there&#8217;s more exposure than ever to this propaganda, which makes it less effective.

The U.S. government appears to be aware of that, and they view it as a potential problem. They want the propaganda to continue. We know that because, on its website, a nonprofit called &#8220;Take This&#8221; <a href="https://boundingintocomics.com/2024/03/12/us-government-funded-non-profit-take-this-responds-to-sweet-baby-inc-backlash-by-calling-on-video-game-industry-to-clearly-and-unequivocally-denounce-gamergate/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">labels</a> all criticism of SBI as &#8220;harassment.&#8221; They&#8217;re coordinating a response to it. What&#8217;s &#8220;Take This&#8221;? Apparently, according to their website, they&#8217;re a &#8220;mental health nonprofit&#8221; that&#8217;s funded by the Department of Homeland Security. In other words, your tax dollars are paying for the defense of propagandists targeting children in the video game industry. For some reason, DHS is involved.
And actually, it&#8217;s worse than that. As the Intercept <a href="https://theintercept.com/2024/03/09/fbi-dhs-gamers-extremism-violence/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> this month, &#8220;Gaming companies are coordinating with the FBI and Department of Homeland Security to root out so-called domestic violent extremist content, according to a new government report. Noting that mechanisms have been established with social media companies to police extremism, the report recommends that the national security agencies establish new and similar processes with the vast gaming industry.&#8221;
What this means is that the video game industry — without a lot of fanfare — has transformed into a tool of both propaganda and surveillance. It&#8217;s an effective way to indoctrinate children precisely because it hasn&#8217;t received much attention. Now, finally, that attention is here. And it&#8217;s yet another reason to keep these games as far away from your children as possible. If you do that, games journalists — literally the lowest form of journalist on the planet — will accuse you of &#8220;harassment.&#8221; That&#8217;s how you&#8217;ll know you&#8217;re doing the right thing.

The founder of Google’s &#8220;AI Responsibility&#8221; initiative once suggested that she treats “Black, Hispanic, and Latinx” employees differently than white employees and has pushed “anti-racism” as a vital part of artificial intelligence, Daily Wire host <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/show/the-matt-walsh-show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Matt Walsh</a> revealed on Thursday.
Walsh posted a thread on X, showing video clips of Jen Gennai in 2021, where she discussed her team&#8217;s diversity, equity, and inclusion goals at Google. The Big Tech giant has faced criticism this week over its new AI language model <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/googles-ai-language-model-claims-israelis-are-more-violent-than-palestinians-says-no-definitive-proof-hamas-committed-rape-in-israel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gemini</a> after social media users accused it of being racist against white people and presenting inaccurate historical depictions in the name of “diversity.”
The controversy erupted when Daily Wire scripted content writer Frank Fleming attempted to get Gemini to generate an image of a white male. In a long X thread, Fleming posted screenshots showing his failed attempts to get Gemini to generate a photo of a white person, even though he asked it for pictures of people who are historically white, such as the pope, medieval knights, and Vikings.
“Google’s Gemini AI project doesn’t want to display images of white men – even historical figures. I think I may have figured out why,” Walsh wrote. “Here’s the founder of Google&#8217;s ‘AI Responsibility’ initiative, Jen Gennai, speaking in a keynote address in 2021. She openly suggests that she treats ‘Black, Hispanic and Latinx’ employees differently than white employees.”
Walsh included a video of Gennai discussing her DEI-centered goals for Google’s AI initiative. Gennai lamented that, according to a “corporate study,” white employees move up the corporate ladder faster while “talented black, Hispanic, or Latinx professionals broke through much later.”
“Effective mentorship and sponsorship are critical in executive-level development of black, Hispanic, and Latinx employees,” Gennai added.

Fox News&#8217;s Martha MacCallum asked North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum about past comments by former South Carolina Governor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nikki-haley-calls-out-republicans-on-inflation-defends-israel-aid-in-first-gop-debate" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Nikki Haley,</a> who said, &#8220;Biological boys playing in girls&#8217; sports is the women&#8217;s issue of our time.&#8221;
Burgum replied, &#8220;In North Dakota, we made a priority of protecting women&#8217;s sports. We&#8217;ve done that in our state &#8230; but the idea that every school district and state and every teacher is somehow indoctrinating people is just false.&#8221;
Haley said there are &#8220;a lot of crazy woke things happening in schools &#8230; I will always say, I&#8217;m going to fight for girls all day long because strong girls become strong women. Strong women become strong leaders and biological boys don&#8217;t belong in the locker rooms of any of our girls.&#8221;

There was a time, way back in another era, when the goal of the education system was to educate students. Back in those days, this goal was pursued through a merit-based approach. Kids were graded and ranked based on their performance. High performing students were advanced, low performing students were held back. Well behaved students were rewarded, poorly behaved students were punished. This was the general idea.
But this strategy has fallen out of favor in recent years. It was too mean, we were told and racist, too, somehow. Piece by piece, the system of merit-based education in public schools was dismantled, until finally there was nothing left. And into that gap came “equity&#8221; to replace it.
What does &#8220;equity&#8221; mean, exactly? That&#8217;s a question you&#8217;ll never get a real answer to. But in this case, we know what &#8220;equity&#8221; means from a practical perspective. It <a href="https://www.dailysignal.com/2021/10/22/school-spending-up-test-scores-down/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">means</a> spending more money for worse schools. It also means creating new schools, from the ground-up — because the only way to guarantee that you&#8217;re not perpetuating White Supremacy is to start from scratch. 
One of these new, non-racist schools was founded five years ago in Akron, Ohio, with help from NBA All-Star LeBron James. This was a big deal, we were assured at the time. NBC Nightly News was on the scene when the school launched:

NBC News touts this school as a &#8220;new approach to fix an old problem.&#8221; The &#8220;most important thing,&#8221; LeBron James says, isn&#8217;t test scores, or grades, or any objective sense of achievement whatsoever. Instead, the key is giving students, &#8220;the sense that someone cares about them.&#8221; But that’s not really an educational approach at all. It’s simply a cliche — and not a new one either. But it&#8217;s one that taxpayers in Ohio have been compelled to fund. As one local news <a href="https://www.cleveland.com/metro/2018/08/whos_paying_for_lebron_james_n_1.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">report</a> put it, &#8220;the district will pay more than half the costs [for the school] &#8211; perhaps around 75 percent.&#8221; That total <a href="https://www.outkick.com/lebrons-i-promise-school-posts-shockingly-poor-test-results/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">amounts</a> to nearly $10 million a year, charged to taxpayers.
Yet the experiment was well worth the cost, the media reassured us, over and over. You can go back over the past several years and find many, many media reports gushing over LeBron’s school and calling for more schools just like it. Maybe we should even make LeBron James the Secretary of Education, while we&#8217;re at it. Why not? NBC News would certainly be on board with that. Just a month ago, they were on the scene again to do this glowing follow-up story on the I Promise School. Watch:

To recap: 1,600 students have attended the school; they promised to make healthy choices; and LeBron James cares about them. Et cetera. It all sounds pretty good.
But wait a minute, NBC News. How are the students actually performing in the classroom? That bit of information was left out of the report, which seems a little odd. Wasn&#8217;t the whole point of the school to help these children? Just a month later, now we know exactly why NBC News overlooked that little detail. A new piece in the Akron Beacon Journal reports that, &#8220;This fall&#8217;s class of eighth graders at the I Promise School hasn&#8217;t had a single student pass the state&#8217;s math test since the group was in the third grade.&#8221;
To restate: They haven&#8217;t had a single student in the eighth grade class pass the state math test since they started at the school in the third grade, five years ago. Well, that&#8217;s not encouraging. And to be honest, it&#8217;s a little surprising, because not all that long ago, the school claimed in a documentary that its students do extremely well on mandatory proficiency tests, including the so-called &#8220;MAP&#8221; standardized test.
The documentary is titled <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuzDfEEzhfo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Every Child Deserves A Chance</a> and it&#8217;s from YouTube Originals. It&#8217;s quite long, so watch it when you can and see what impression you come away with. We can tell you LeBron James says the students &#8220;destroyed&#8221; the standardized tests. Later in the film, a thrilled administrator says that the students were at the 25th percentile and below — but that now, &#8220;91 percent of students&#8221; are &#8220;meeting their goals.&#8221; They&#8217;re all very happy about this.
But if you parse what they&#8217;re saying carefully, it sounds like an apples-to-oranges comparison. The administrator makes it sound like the students went from 25th percentile in the district to the 91st percentile. But in fact, the 91% number just refers to students who are meeting their &#8220;goals,&#8221; whatever that means and however that&#8217;s defined.
They&#8217;re presenting the data like this in order to suggest — falsely — that their new method of education was working and specifically, enhancing standardized test scores. But in fact it was doing the exact opposite. And in a brief moment at the very end of the documentary, we get some confirmation of that as an official with the school admits that the district isn&#8217;t happy with students&#8217; performance.
Following this? There&#8217;s all this celebration from LeBron James and all the taxpayer-funded administrators about how good the school&#8217;s test results are. And then they admit that, despite this success, the school has somehow received an &#8220;F&#8221; from the district for student achievement. They don&#8217;t elaborate. They don&#8217;t tell you that, in fact, zero of the students in one class had ever &#8220;met their grade-level markers&#8221; for math.
That seems like a significant discrepancy — one that the media, and taxpayers in Akron, would be very interested in, and yet none of the media outlets that have fluffed this school in the past few years have bothered to cover it. That documentary has been out for almost two years. NBC News must have missed it.

The truth is that corporate media didn&#8217;t want to look too deep into the data, because it&#8217;s not just bad — it&#8217;s terrible. It keeps getting worse the more you read it. As the Akron Beacon Journal reported, the English scores for the 8th graders weren&#8217;t much better than the math numbers: &#8220;When the school&#8217;s first class of eighth graders graduated from I Promise, just 11% of them tested proficient on the state English language arts test.&#8221;
The article goes on: &#8220;Two of I Promise&#8217;s biggest subgroups of students, Black students and those with disabilities, are now testing in the bottom 5% in the state, landing the school on the Ohio Department of Education&#8217;s list of those requiring targeted intervention.&#8221;
You&#8217;ll often hear the counterargument that this is a school for troubled children, so of course their scores will be low. But that doesn&#8217;t explain why the scores are going backwards. According to the data, &#8220;last year&#8217;s sixth graders lost ground. When they were in fifth grade, 7% were proficient on the reading test. In sixth grade, just 2% were.&#8221;
Now, the point isn&#8217;t to gloat over the failure of this experiment. In some ways it was a noble effort. Admittedly, I&#8217;m not a fan of LeBron James personally. He&#8217;s a woke virtue signaler to such a degree that he pretends to read books about Malcom X. You&#8217;ve probably seen this clip before, but honestly it&#8217;s too good not to share again. Here it is:

That&#8217;s the guy who&#8217;s going to re-invent our nation&#8217;s educational system with his bold new approach. The guy who is still failing his book reports at the age of 38. In any event, even if it’s kind of funny to have a school run by a guy who pretends to read books, and even if, aside from that, LeBron James is a reckless liar who regularly promotes BLM propaganda and slanders police officers, I can still respect a rich celebrity athlete at least attempting to do something productive. 
But the reason for the school&#8217;s failure is what&#8217;s instructive here. According to the accepted narrative, kids from &#8220;marginalized groups&#8221; struggle in school, especially inner city schools, because of systemic racism and a lack of funding — two issues, we’re told, which are related. So here is a school founded by a wealthy black man, with an extraordinary amount of funding both from tax payers and LeBron&#8217;s foundation — a school where everyone gets free lunch, and they have access to all of the state of the art educational tools, and everyone graduates with a scholarship, and so on — yet still the kids are failing. When it comes to math, literally all of them are failing.
In fact, they seem to be doing worse than they would in one of those allegedly &#8220;under funded&#8221; schools where the vestiges of systemic racism are still allegedly present. We have data on that. The way I Promise selects students is via a lottery, in which students who place in the bottom 25% of test scores in the district are eligible. But if you compare the I Promise students with kids in the bottom 25% in the district who *did not* attend I Promise, the kids who didn&#8217;t attend are doing better by some metrics.
This tells us a few things — all of them are forbidden truths. The most important is that all of the funding and inspirational platitudes in the world can&#8217;t make up for broken families and bad culture. Poor black kids come from both (and the two are obviously related). You will not be able to measurably improve any aspect of life for these kids — especially their educational performance — without addressing the fact that the culture they come from is deeply sick and their families are in absolute disarray. Talk to any teacher who has experience trying to teach these so-called “marginalized groups.” Very often their behavior and attitude in class isn’t just bad, it’s appalling. These are kids who have not received any kind of intellectual or moral formation at home or in their communities. In many cases their parents do not care about their education, or about anything else. The culture they are brought up in encourages them to act in outrageous ways and reject and disrespect all authority. That’s the fact of the matter. LeBron James can’t solve this on his own, of course, but he could start by at least acknowledging it and talking about it. But he won’t even do that.
As always, the Left seeks to solve problems without addressing the underlying fundamental issues. It&#8217;s like their genius plans to solve homelessness by putting the homeless in hotels or giving them free housing. You can give a homeless guy a room at the Ritz-Carlton and the place will look like a garbage dump within the span of three hours. Soon he&#8217;ll be right back out on the street. That&#8217;s because the homeless guy&#8217;s problem isn&#8217;t that he doesn&#8217;t have a home. Any halfway competent and sober person can manage to find some kind of housing. His problem isn’t a lack of housing, but that he&#8217;s a drug addict, or psychotic, or both.
It would be one thing if some coherent principle was at play here. But there&#8217;s nothing coherent about it. Consider that the Left&#8217;s solution to education and homelessness is to throw money at the problem, but their solution to law enforcement is to do exactly the opposite. Somehow the education system will improve if you give it more money, but the justice system will improve if you give it less money. How does that make sense?
You&#8217;ll never see any contemplation from the Left on this. Instead, they&#8217;ll continue to push the most destructive policies imaginable, only to backtrack when the consequences of their destruction are too obvious to deny. That&#8217;s happening now in Oakland. The president of the NAACP&#8217;s Oakland chapter just announced that: &#8220;Failed leadership, including the movement to defund the police, our District Attorney’s unwillingness to charge and prosecute people who murder and commit life-threatening serious crimes, and the proliferation of anti-police rhetoric have created a heyday for Oakland criminals.&#8221;
Oh, you think? Congratulations, NAACP, you’ve finally realized that crime is bad. A stunning revelation. But of course, they are also incapable of tracing the problem down to its roots. The NAACP supported BLM&#8217;s insanity when it gave them power; now they&#8217;re against it when it embarrasses them. That&#8217;s all there is to it.
What happens next? It&#8217;s possible that, once these people are sufficiently embarrassed by what they&#8217;ve done to public schools in this country, they&#8217;ll stop experiments like the one that&#8217;s going on in Akron. But by that point, as if by design, it&#8217;ll be far too late. LeBron James will have moved on. The children won&#8217;t have that luxury. They&#8217;ll be uneducated, poor, and totally dependent on the government that pretended to care about them. 
Most people would call that a disaster. But our leaders have another name for it. They call it equity.

&#8220;The Matt Walsh Show&#8221; host opened his <a href="https://twitter.com/MattWalshShow/status/1683540126985535509" target="_blank" rel="noopener">podcast</a> on Monday with a report in the <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/barbie-box-office-oppenheimer-opening-1235541719/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood Reporter</a> that declared director Greta Gerwig&#8217;s female-fueled film a smashing success after it opened to a historic $155 million as of Sunday. However, Walsh said the biggest credit goes to the &#8220;marketing department&#8221; — who he said had lied about the &#8220;true content and message of the film.&#8221;

I&#8217;d rather jump feet first into a woodchipper than sit through that film. I don&#8217;t need to watch Barbie to know that it&#8217;s bad for the same reason that I don&#8217;t need to pull a rotten onion out of the garbage and eat it in order to know that I won&#8217;t like the taste.&#8221;
The host said he had also never thrown himself into a volcano but &#8220;can safely say that the experience would be unpleasant and probably a little hot. So some books can be judged by their covers. &#8221;
Walsh then read recent movie review comments which widely praised &#8220;Barbie as the most unwavering feminist summer blockbuster ever to exist&#8221; and &#8220;giving the new film particular adoration for its messaging around the patriarchy and gender roles.&#8221;
&#8220;Meanwhile, Indiewire praised the film&#8217;s outside-the-box and funny feminist Fantasia and singled out [Ryan] Gosling&#8217;s performance of newfound male rage and patriarchal power as a particular highlight,&#8221; the host said. &#8220;Funny, though, they didn&#8217;t tout this thing as a master thesis on feminism in the trailer.&#8221;
&#8220;I can guarantee you they didn&#8217;t put that,&#8221; he added. &#8220;They are not going to put that on the poster &#8230; They didn&#8217;t title the movie The Adventures of Feminist Barbie. No mentions of patriarchy or male rage either in any of the marketing.&#8221;
&#8220;Dangle a funny and fun and nostalgic and family-friendly Barbie film in front of the audience,&#8221; Walsh continued. &#8220;And then when you have them in the seat, whack them over the head with the feminist stick, sell them the Barbie doll, and let them open the package and find Gloria Steinem inside.&#8221;
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/matt-walsh-blasts-leftists-upset-about-jason-aldeans-new-song-who-celebrate-violent-rap-music" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Walsh</a> then noted the &#8220;major underlying theme&#8221; in the movie involves how Ken and &#8220;men in Barbie land&#8221; are &#8220;useless and stupid. But then men in the real world are useless and stupid, but also violent, predatory and in control of everything. Ken witnesses this dynamic and tries to export the patriarchy back to Barbie land and they actually call it the patriarchy in the film.&#8221;
The Daily Wire host concluded that the marketing department knew that &#8220;feminism&#8221; wouldn&#8217;t sell that&#8217;s why they &#8220;hid it away, tucked it under all the pink and plastic, and then came out with the man-hating sledgehammer when the audience was already sitting in the seats.&#8221;

&#8220;Aldean condemns those crimes,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Rap artists explicitly promote and glorify them&#8230;So why does Aldean get held to a standard that is never applied to the most popular rap artists in the world?&#8221;

The former president wrote that &#8220;books have always shaped how I experience the world. Writers like Mark Twain and Toni Morrison, Walt Whitman and James Baldwin taught me something essential about our country&#8217;s character, reading about people whose lives were very different from mine &#8230; some of the books that shape my life and the lives of many others are being challenged by people who disagree with certain ideas of perspective.&#8221;
Walsh read on, noting that Obama wrote that it was &#8220;no coincidence that these banned books are often written by or feature people of color Indigenous people and members of the LGBTQ plus community.&#8221;
&#8220;All right, so the headline here is that Barack Obama has finally come out as gay,&#8221; the podcast host told his audience. &#8220;We knew it would happen eventually. And and here we are. It finally happened officially. At least that must be what he&#8217;s saying.&#8221;
&#8220;I can only assume that&#8217;s what he&#8217;s saying, because he says that the books that are being challenged, quote unquote, are the ones that shaped his life,&#8221; he added. &#8220;But literally the only books that anyone on the right is challenging are pornographic books about gay sex.&#8221;
&#8220;Those are the only ones that that anyone on our side has raised an objection to,&#8221; Walsh continued. &#8220;And when it comes to challenging them, we have specifically challenged their presence in schools. We have challenged the schools that distribute pornographic books to kids. That is what we are challenging. That is the challenge that Barack Obama is referring to. And so if some of these challenge books are what shaped his life, then we can only assume that his life was shaped by pornographic books about gay sex.&#8221;
Walsh pointed out Obama and others on the left&#8217;s hypocrisy when it comes to free speech on social media and the internet, noting when it comes to that arena the left believe &#8220;free speech&#8221; needs to be shut down.
&#8220;That&#8217;s when their tone suddenly changes really drastically,&#8221; the host said. &#8220;And now, instead of talking about how freedom begins with our capacity to share and access ideas, now they&#8217;re going to talk about things like stochastic terrorism, how you could be a terrorist for having a viewpoint that other people find disturbing.&#8221;
&#8220;Yeah, they care so much about sharing and access, accessing ideas, but they think that you should be banned from every social media platform in the world,&#8221; he added. &#8220;If you say that you know a male is a man and not a woman, that&#8217;s how much they care about free speech, obviously.&#8221;

If you&#8217;ve been looking for a sign that we may be nearing an end to the national fever dream that began sometime in the past decade — and that soon we&#8217;ll once again live in a country where you can talk about basic facts of life, without losing your job, or getting dog-piled on social media — then what happened last week wasn&#8217;t just encouraging, it was proof that we&#8217;re well on our way to that destination. That may be hard to believe, but it&#8217;s true, and there&#8217;s no denying it now. 
Last week, for the first time in a very long time, it wasn&#8217;t the people who understand human biology, and the differences between men and women, who lost their jobs. It wasn&#8217;t the people who value freedom of speech who were publicly humiliated. It wasn&#8217;t the civilized and respectful people who had to lock down their accounts in shame. Instead, for once, all those things happened to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/twitter-restricts-launch-of-what-is-a-woman-top-company-official-resigns" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the censors</a> and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/another-twitter-executive-out-after-attempts-to-stop-what-is-a-woman-from-appearing-on-platform-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the activists</a> who have, for so long, foisted their own mental problems on everyone else. The thugs who can&#8217;t win an argument without threats and coercion were the ones backed into a corner for a change.
The premiere of &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/what-is-a-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">What is a Woman?</a>&#8221; on Twitter proved to be a disastrous moment for these very petty and aggressively stupid authoritarians. As we&#8217;ve told you, after The Daily Wire signed a deal with Twitter to stream the film for free to kick off pride month, a faction of dedicated censors within Twitter — many of them holdovers from the pre-Musk era — decided to revolt. They went back on the agreement. They told us the film was hate speech, for the very simple reason that it contained speech they hated. Whatever it took, these activists inside Twitter decided at the last possible moment that you couldn&#8217;t be allowed to see any of it. You know the story by now. 
Now I say &#8220;activists,&#8221; but these people are more like zealots. The ideology is what matters to them. Nothing else. That&#8217;s why several of these rogue Twitter employees decided to throw away their jobs in order to shut down &#8220;What is a Woman?&#8221; That&#8217;s how dedicated they are to the cult of gender ideology. Even after Elon Musk publicly told Daily Wire co-CEO Jeremy Boreing that the film would run without any censorship, these activists went ahead and throttled it the moment it went live on Twitter, on the night of June 1st. No one could &#8220;like&#8221; or &#8220;retweet&#8221; it.  It had a label saying it contained &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/twitter-cancels-deal-with-the-daily-wire-to-stream-what-is-a-woman-over-misgendering-will-label-film-hateful-conduct" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hateful conduct</a>.&#8221; It looked, for a while, as if somehow this pro-censorship faction within Twitter had staged a coup. They had defied Twitter&#8217;s owner, and incredibly, at first, it seemed they had gotten what they wanted. But then Elon Musk stepped in, heads rolled, various firings and resignations were reported, and the film was freed from the censorship shackles. 
But once the rest of America — the sane ones — had the opportunity to see the film, without any intervention from a small number of gender studies majors in Silicon Valley, it became obvious why the censors were so desperate to shut us down. They were right, in a certain way — not right to do what they did, but right to be afraid of the film, and the effect it would have on their agenda. Because what happened next was truly historic. It turns out a lot of people wanted to watch. In fact, more people wanted to watch &#8220;What is a Woman?&#8221; than any other documentary in the last several years. When we tweeted out the film, it got more than 170 million views. For perspective, more people watched &#8220;What is a Woman?&#8221; than saw Anderson Cooper all week on CNN, or watched the Oscars, or Joe Biden&#8217;s 2023 State of the Union — combined.
The film trended worldwide all weekend, with hundreds of thousands of people talking about it at all hours. For the second Pride Month in a row, &#8220;What is a Woman?&#8221; was the number-one documentary on Rotten Tomatoes. Just to restate: This is a documentary that came out a year ago, and it instantly went to number-one. Whatever you think of the film, based on the data, there&#8217;s no question it&#8217;s one of the most-watched documentaries of the past decade. It&#8217;s also one of the most impactful, because it&#8217;s led directly to laws that have been passed all over the country, outlawing child mutilation and other crimes against humanity. In fact, it’s clear that we can now say “What Is A Woman?” is one of the most widely viewed and influential documentaries — not just of the past several years, or of the decade — but of all time. I’m biased in that assessment of course, but all of the available metrics back it up.
What an unmitigated disaster for the forces of censorship and evil. The news organizations and Big Tech oligarchs who, for years, could have censored this film were instead forced to watch all of this unfold, helplessly. Millions of Americans could see the extent to which they&#8217;re being lied to. The &#8220;experts&#8221; in medicine and academia that the media throw in our faces, who tell us that gender ideology is settled science, actually have no idea what they&#8217;re talking about. They&#8217;re clowns and liars and frauds. Small children could make better arguments. They&#8217;ve all been exposed as liars, and not about some trivial topic. They&#8217;ve been covering for an ideology that condones the forcible castration and mutilation of children. There&#8217;s no hiding that now.
But of course, they&#8217;re going to try anyway. Despite its popularity, right now the film still hasn’t been reviewed by a single corporate media outlet. Instead they spent the week lying about it. Here&#8217;s how CNN covered what happened this weekend:

Notice a couple of things about that clip. The first is that, like Voldemort, you can&#8217;t actually say the name of the movie. So instead of &#8220;What is a Woman?,&#8221; it&#8217;s &#8220;an anti-trans documentary&#8221; that shall not be named, under any circumstances. Merely saying the words &#8220;What is a Woman?&#8221; is violence.
What&#8217;s amusing about calling the film an &#8220;anti-trans documentary&#8221; is that, again, the whole documentary is about giving trans activists the floor.  We let them speak. We didn&#8217;t interrupt them, or edit anything out of context. So if &#8220;What is a Woman?&#8221; is an anti-trans documentary, as CNN says, all that means is that gender ideology is so incoherent and so corrupt that anyone who spends any time listening to &#8220;pro-trans&#8221; activists will inevitably come away with &#8220;anti-trans&#8221; sentiments. CNN doesn&#8217;t realize they&#8217;re saying that of course, because none of them have watched the film, or know what they&#8217;re talking about. But that&#8217;s the big takeaway from that segment. Spend ten minutes with a doctor who performs &#8220;gender affirming&#8221; surgeries, or a college professor who lectures on gender, and you&#8217;ll come away &#8220;anti-trans.&#8221; Maybe that’s not a bad assessment from CNN, actually.
The other thing to notice about that clip is the implication that the film contains &#8220;potentially harmful content.&#8221; Nowhere in that segment did CNN explain what&#8217;s &#8220;potentially harmful&#8221; about letting trans activists box themselves into a corner and run away screaming when asked a simple question. Maybe what CNN means is that the content of the film is harmful — to gender ideology, which it certainly is. If that&#8217;s the case, then again, we thank CNN for the endorsement.
To be clear, I’m not just picking on CNN here. That would be a waste of time, because as Elon Musk pointed out in response to that segment, no one watches them anyway. So you should know that the rest of the media did the same thing. They attacked the film, without even mentioning the title, or what it&#8217;s about. NBC &#8220;News&#8221; for example ran this headline: &#8220;Musk’s response to an anti-trans video sparks 24 hours of chaos at Twitter. A conservative pressure movement built against Twitter&#8217;s CEO resulted in high-level departures from the company.&#8221;
You couldn&#8217;t write a less factually accurate summary of what happened over the past week if you tried. They can’t even bring themselves to call it a film. Instead one of the most widely viewed documentaries ever is just “a video” — an “anti-trans video” at that. What’s remarkable about this is that millions of people are seeing the fake narrative machine spin up in real-time. What happened on Twitter with &#8220;What is a Woman?&#8221; was not a secret. Everyone could see it happen, and yet the media is lying about it, as if this is Russia-gate all over again. They&#8217;re acting like they have some insider knowledge and they can fool people. But they can&#8217;t. Again, they are panicking, and more importantly, it&#8217;s obvious. This is how these people lose power.
The closest the NBC News article comes to engaging with the content of the film is to say it &#8220;misgenders&#8221; trans people. Quoting from NBC: &#8220;Misgendering trans people had been restricted on the platform since 2018, but under Musk the company quietly repealed that rule. Misgendering trans people using pronouns other than what someone prefers is a common way to bully trans people.&#8221;
What NBC doesn&#8217;t mention is that the alleged &#8220;misgendering&#8221; they&#8217;re talking about, again, is a father saying that his 14-year-old girl is his daughter. They are saying that this father was &#8220;bullying&#8221; his own 14-year-old daughter because he objected when doctors injected her with cross-sex hormones that sterilized her. And then when the Canadian government arrested this father, and fined him $30,000, and when the Canadian media destroyed his life — according to NBC, HE wasn&#8217;t being &#8220;bullied.&#8221; Instead, his daughter was being &#8220;bullied.&#8221; That&#8217;s what they&#8217;re saying. They can&#8217;t write that explicitly because it&#8217;s just so awful. So they lie about it.
The one redeeming quality of the NBC article is it contains this line, which belongs in some kind of museum: &#8220;Musk’s views on trans rights put him out of sync with many other Silicon Valley billionaires.&#8221; This is how shameless corporate media propaganda is now. They come right out and condemn you if you disagree with &#8220;many other Silicon Valley billionaires,&#8221; as if that’s obviously a bad thing to do. I’m old enough to remember when the Left used to pretend to be critics of the evil billionaire class. Now they use that group as a moral measuring stick for the rest of us. It used to be “Billionaires are evil.” Now it’s “Agree with all the billionaires or you’re evil.”
Everywhere you looked this weekend, there was an article like this — clearly written by someone who hasn&#8217;t seen the film, but was told to write about it. Take Business Insider for example. Unlike NBC or CNN, Business Insider actually did use the name of our film, so at least there’s that. But they obviously haven&#8217;t seen it, either. They wrote that the film &#8220;urges intolerance of trans people.&#8221; But of course they don&#8217;t provide a single quote in which anyone in the documentary &#8220;urges intolerance of trans people.&#8221; That&#8217;s because it didn&#8217;t happen. And now everyone knows that because everyone could see it for themselves.
The New Republic ran a similarly embarrassing piece — except, to try and differentiate themselves a bit, they opted to attack Elon Musk personally. They reported that he was &#8220;disowned by his trans daughter.” The article went on to lament that Musk had decided to &#8220;punch down against transgender people.&#8221;
Is anyone convinced by this anymore? It&#8217;s hard to believe, at this point. The activists who are &#8220;urging intolerance&#8221; are on the other side. They&#8217;re doing it right out in the open. They aren&#8217;t dog-whistling or whatever. They&#8217;re coming out and saying it.
For the latest example, as journalist Chris Brunet reported on his Substack this weekend, a Brown University PhD student calling himself &#8220;Sarah Celeste Griffith&#8221; has for many months been publicly urging people to come to my home and kill me. Why? Presumably because Sarah Celeste Griffith is a man who claims to be a woman, and he is so desperate to maintain this delusion that he wants anyone who tells the truth to be killed. I have been saying this for a long time because it’s true: Extremist trans activists like Griffith would happily murder you and your whole family for the sake of feeling more affirmed, or at a minimum they’ll happily encourage someone else to go do it.
Brown University is aware that this person has been threatening me, but they haven&#8217;t done anything about it. Ask her why they’re protecting Sarah Celeste Griffith and ignoring these terroristic threats. Though, we already know the reason. They’re doing it for the same reason Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ignore every instance of trans terrorism, including the murder of children. They&#8217;re ignoring us for the same reason there are Pride flags all over Rockefeller Center Right now. The reason they think they can ignore us is that criticizing the cult of gender ideology is NOT, in fact, &#8220;punching down.&#8221; It&#8217;s standing up to the most powerful forces in our country, which insist that you lie about the most fundamental facts of life. They want you to believe men can get pregnant, and if you disagree, they try to crush you. They think they have all the power.
But they don’t have all of it. Not anymore. So they have to resort to propaganda that&#8217;s getting increasingly desperate. Here&#8217;s another example. The Huffington Post cut right to the chase in their article about the “What Is A Woman?” Twitter story. &#8220;Elon Musk is a Transphobe,&#8221; they declare in their headline. Their evidence? &#8220;Gender-affirming health care &#8230; takes place in a professional environment.&#8221; Therefore, according to the Huffington Post, don&#8217;t you dare ask questions about hospitals that castrate children. It&#8217;s happening in a nice and professional environment. And if you do ask questions about it, you&#8217;re afraid of &#8220;trans people.&#8221;
The reality is that these media outlets, for once, are the ones who are afraid. They&#8217;re flailing around trying to attack a film they clearly haven&#8217;t seen, and certainly don’t want you to see.  And they&#8217;re doing that because they know they&#8217;re losing ground. The revolt against trans ideology is gaining steam more and more each day. Texas just became the largest state to criminalize child mutilation (or “gender affirming care” as the media puts it). Eighteen other states have signed similar legislation, many of them in just the past year.
Meanwhile corporations are running scared from Pride month. There are a bunch that didn’t even switch their Twitter logos over to the little rainbow colors this year, like they have in years past. As Newsweek just reported, &#8220;The North Face, Lego and Miller Lite carried supportive messages on June 1, 2022, but did not do so this year. &#8230; Other brands — such as Target, Bud Light, and Adidas — have yet to post, despite doing so later in June last year.&#8221; The account for &#8220;Xbox&#8221; briefly had a Pride logo, before getting rid of it a few days into Pride month. The Navy did the same thing. They made their background image on Twitter and Instagram a fighter jet streaking across the sky with Pride colors in its wake. They got dogpiled, because the job of the military is to defend us from foreign enemies, not to promote fetishes and the sexual mutilation of children. And people are comfortable saying that out loud now. So very quickly the Navy changed their background image back. These might seem like small victories, but they are manifestations of a larger and more significant trend. The media knows this, the Left knows this, which is why they’re panicking.
A lot of people thought the Left had won the cultural argument when it comes to trans and LGBT stuff. But the victory was an illusion. Like a mirage in the desert, when you get a closer look you see it for the fraud that it is. They “win” by preventing people from looking at these issues honestly or thinking about them clearly, or talking about them at all. Once people start to see this all for what it is, and feel empowered to talk about it, things start to change rapidly. And now they are.

Daily Wire&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/matt-walsh-launches-brutal-takedown-of-all-lgbtq-days-months-besides-pride-we-are-told-must-be-celebrated" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Matt Walsh</a> has a message for LGBTQ activists upset about things like the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/blue-jays-pitcher-booed-by-home-crowd-after-commenting-on-bud-light-target-boycotts" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Target</a> boycott and the backlash against <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ben-shapiro-issues-challenge-to-corporate-america-warns-they-could-be-next-following-bud-light-target-boycott" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pride</a> and said it is &#8220;all their fault&#8221; because they kept pushing &#8220;more outlandish things&#8221; on the culture.
&#8220;The Matt Walsh Show&#8221; podcast host on Thursday said &#8220;LGBT activists&#8221; have &#8220;been running roughshod over the culture for years&#8221; – but those days are over because Americans have simply had it with woke agendas from corporate America and that community now is &#8220;reaping the consequences.&#8221;
&#8220;So things are different now and they&#8217;re different for a lot of reasons,&#8221; Walsh said. &#8220;One of them is just sheer exhaustion. After a while, people get fed up and the LGBT activists, they&#8217;ve been running roughshod over the culture for years and they&#8217;ve been getting everything they want and getting more bold about it and more outlandish and more egregious and more grotesque.&#8221;

The <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/first-bud-light-and-now-target-matt-walsh-goes-viral-with-tweet-about-making-pride-toxic-for-brands" target="_blank" rel="noopener">host</a> said that there&#8217;s now an attitude by many of those on the right that they &#8220;don&#8217;t want anything that promotes gender, ideology or transgenderism to kids&#8221; or &#8220;super extreme stuff&#8221; like &#8220;satanic merchandise&#8221; and more. He said people are now saying &#8220;&#8216;we don&#8217;t want pride flags at all. We don&#8217;t want any of it.'&#8221;
&#8220;That&#8217;s what many on the right are saying,&#8221; Walsh said. &#8220;And I&#8217;m glad they are. I mean, that&#8217;s where I&#8217;ve been all along. But I&#8217;m glad that this is becoming the mainstream view on the right and you know whose fault it is. It&#8217;s all their fault.&#8221;
&#8220;If you&#8217;re an LGBT activists and you&#8217;re feeling very persecuted by this and you&#8217;re saying &#8216;what happened, now so we can&#8217;t even fly a pride flag without you &#8230;,'&#8221; he added. &#8220;Well, that&#8217;s your fault. If you had just stopped at like where you were in say in, say, the year 2017, if you had stopped there and you said, &#8216;oh, we hey we basically won&#8217; and you just stopped, then probably none of this would happen. But you kept going and you kept pushing and now you&#8217;re reaping the consequences of that.&#8221;
