President Joe Biden is apparently not always the kindly octogenarian the mainstream media likes to paint, according to a new report which details his explosive temper and habit of swearing at subordinates.
The media and Left have frequently attempted to <a href="https://apnews.com/article/biden-politics-united-states-government-steve-ricchetti-alabama-26b87b21b459c8a707e45a91d884cd74" target="_blank" rel="noopener">portray</a> Biden as <a href="https://www.forbes.com/sites/johnbaldoni/2020/08/20/how-empathy-defines-joe-biden/?sh=5c87071675cf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">empathetic</a> with their <a href="https://rollcall.com/2017/11/15/opinion-joe-biden-the-most-decent-man-in-politics/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">consistent</a> description of him as a decent man. Yet according to <a href="https://www.axios.com/2023/07/10/biden-temper-us-president">Axios</a>, some of Biden’s aides avoid meeting alone with him, as he is prone to yell epithets such as “God dammit, how the f*** don&#8217;t you know this?!,” “Don&#8217;t f***ing bulls*** me!” and “Get the f*** out of here!”
One administration official told Axios, “No one is safe.”
“There’s no question that the Biden temper is for real,” author Chris Whipple, who wrote “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House,” confessed.
The new picture is at odds with how top Democrats and media outlets have described Biden for years.
“Joe Biden is a profoundly decent man, guided by his faith,” former First Lady Michelle Obama <a href="https://www.facebook.com/michelleobama/posts/joe-biden-is-a-profoundly-decent-man-guided-by-his-faith-as-president-he-will-ho/10164173874365578/?locale=hi_IN" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> on Facebook. “As president, he will honor the lives and experiences of every American—because that’s what he’s always done. I can’t wait for you to see the Joe I know tonight: Someone who respects the dignity of other human beings, someone who is capable of making smart plans and managing a good team.”
“You have the feeling that he has been spared the normal human allotment of reproach. But neither does he reproach others: Biden is the kind of fundamentally happy person who can be as generous toward others as he is to himself,” James Traub <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20210103084703/https:/www.nytimes.com/2009/11/29/magazine/29Biden-t.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">gushed</a> of Biden in The New York Times Magazine in 2009.
Yet Mary Ellen Bork, the widow of the esteemed judge Robert Bork, whom former President Ronald Reagan nominated for the Supreme Court only to see Biden and Sen. Ted Kennedy derail during confirmation proceedings, <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/joe-biden-and-the-borking-of-supreme-court-nominees-11601319057" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recalled</a> Biden&#8217;s dark side during the 2020 presidential campaign.
&#8220;Most people don’t remember the hearings on Robert Bork for nomination to the Supreme Court, but I do,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I was there during the four months of vicious political campaigning against this judicial nominee, my husband, and in the Senate hearing room as then-Sen. Biden presided over a rigged hearing full of an unprecedented level of lying and distortion of a man known for his integrity and judicial wisdom.
“After Bob left the court in 1988 to devote himself to writing and teaching, Democrats would often come up to him to apologize for the way the Democratic politicians treated him and would leave with tears in their eyes,” she continued, then warned, “We will all have tears in our eyes if Joe Biden is elected president.”
