<p>Two Border Patrol agents who were involved in the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis on Saturday have been placed on administrative leave, a Customs and Border Protection spokesperson told The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>The agents initially continued working but were assigned to different operations. Preliminary findings from a federal investigation <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/two-federal-agents-fired-their-weapons-during-alex-pretti-shooting-report-congress-says/">determined</a> that two Border Patrol agents fired their weapons during their confrontation with Pretti.</p>
<p><span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">The CBP spokesperson cited &#8220;standard protocol&#8221; as the reason the agents were placed on leave. Border Patrol&#8217;s Gregory Bovino stated during a Sunday press conference that the agents were still on the job.</span></p>
<p>The Department of Homeland Security contradicted that claim, telling The Daily Wire Wednesday that the agents have been on administrative leave since Saturday.</p>
<p>The initial findings from the internal Customs and Border Protection review stated that Border Patrol agents were working to make an arrest in Minneapolis on Saturday morning when an agent was &#8220;confronted by two female civilians blowing whistles.&#8221; The agent issued a verbal command to the women to &#8220;move out of the roadway&#8221; when they made contact with Pretti.</p>
<p>&#8220;The [CBP officer] pushed them both away and one of the females ran to a male, later identified as 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a US citizen,&#8221; the report said. &#8220;The [CBP officer] attempted to move the woman and Pretti out of the roadway. The woman and Pretti did not move. The [CBP officer] deployed his oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray towards both Pretti and the woman.&#8221;</p>
<p>According to the report, the agents &#8220;attempted to take Pretti into custody,&#8221; but &#8220;Pretti resisted CBP personnel&#8217;s efforts and a struggle ensued.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;During the struggle, a [Border Patrol agent] yelled, &#8216;He&#8217;s got a gun!&#8217; multiple times,&#8221; the report said.</p>
<p>&#8220;Approximately five seconds later, a [Border Patrol agent] discharged his CBP-issued Glock 19 and a [CBP officer] also discharged his CBP-issued Glock 47 at Pretti. After the shooting, a BPA [Border Patrol agent] advised he had possession of Pretti&#8217;s firearm,&#8221; CBP added. &#8220;The BPA subsequently cleared and secured Pretti&#8217;s firearm in his vehicle.&#8221;</p>
<p>Following the shooting, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called Pretti a &#8220;domestic terrorist&#8221; who arrived on scene &#8220;to inflict maximum damage on individuals and to kill law enforcement.” She has since faced backlash for getting ahead of multiple ongoing federal investigations.</p>
<p>“It was a horrible response,” a federal government source recently told The Daily Wire. “Many people I’ve heard from say it was unprofessional. She doesn’t know what she’s doing.”</p>
<p>North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis was among the growing number of congressional Republicans to condemn Noem and has since called on President Donald Trump to fire her.</p>
<p>Tillis, who announced last year that he would not seek re-election, told reporters Tuesday that Noem “has proven to be way out of her depth,&#8221; adding that her &#8220;amateurish&#8221; handling of the latest fatal shooting &#8220;should be disqualifying.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;She should be out of a job,&#8221; he said.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All hell has now broken loose in Minneapolis after another shooting on Saturday involving federal officers and a person who allegedly attempted to interfere with them in the pursuit of their legal duty.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">That person&#8217;s name was Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old Minneapolis man.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Left continues to ramp up this chaos. They are doing this on purpose. There is no question that this is a purposeful attempt to undermine federal law enforcement in their pursuit of duty. And if that ends with ugly images on television, then that is exactly what they want.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">They are desperate for ugly images on television because they believe the images will undermine the Trump administration&#8217;s immigration program and the Trump administration itself.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let us be very clear. More people are being deported from red states than from blue states right now. But you&#8217;re not seeing these ugly images happening in red states.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Why?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Because red states are helping to facilitate the deportation of people who should not be here. Red states are helping to ensure that criminal illegal immigrants are not in the system. And when they arrest somebody for a crime and that person is an illegal immigrant, they then tell federal law enforcement, federal authorities, ICE, and Border Patrol, so the person can be deported.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Blue states, sanctuary cities, and sanctuary states are not doing that. That is what necessitates more boots on the ground from the federal government in these areas. And then local and state politicians have suggested that this amounts to a Gestapo-like occupation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">They&#8217;ve been driving their own supporters out into the streets. Some of those supporters are then obstructing federal law enforcement, committing federal crimes.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When that happens, the likelihood of terrible incidents goes way up. That is the simple logic, and that appears to be something that left-wing politicians want and are desperate for. It appears to be something that they think they can run on if they put ugly images on your television of immigration agents in confrontations with Americans.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And if some of those incidents end with death, then that means they will be able to undermine their political opposition.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">That is despicable. It truly is. We should all — Democrats, Republicans, and independents — be in favor of criminal illegal immigrants going home, not being in the United States.</span></p>

The necessity for a larger federal presence or harder implementation measures is only being made necessary because there are Democratic politicians and members of the legacy media who have decided to ramp up the rhetoric to facilitate the chaos.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is indeed planned. That is a reality. So that ends with bad situations.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We&#8217;ve been saying this for months. You have the governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, coming out and saying that ICE agents are like the Gestapo or like the KKK. You have Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey saying the same, If you have all Democratic politicians suggesting that protesting ICE agents is not only a decent thing to do, but a positive and good thing to do, and then treating obstruction of federal law enforcement officers as a form of legitimate protest —which is the gray line they always seem to blur — you will end up with more confrontations, more violence, and more possible deaths under disputed circumstances.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There should always be a full investigation, not because I believe the officers are guilty of murder or manslaughter, but because I believe that it will exonerate the officers. And if it doesn’t, you need the full investigation to ensure that there&#8217;s continued trust in law enforcement.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Those investigations should go forward. They should be perfectly objective. They should not be railroading someone, as we have seen in the past with Derek Chauvin and George Floyd. The cases should not be adjudicated in the media.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">That&#8217;s why the best response from everyone in the federal government to Walz to Frey should be a full, thorough investigation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But of course, the biggest issue is why these incidents keep happening in the first place.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is not just a matter of individual incidents that are randomly cropping up. This is not random. It is happening in a specific city at a specific time, in a specific place for a reason.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is being driven deliberately. I can&#8217;t emphasize this enough:  </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is being deliberately driven by members of the Democratic higher echelons</span></i><span style="font-weight: 400;">. </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is being specifically driven by the legacy media.</span></i></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I repeat: You are not seeing this in red areas, and more deportations are being carried out in those areas than in the blue areas. That’s a statistical fact. More deportations are taking place in Texas and Florida than are taking place in Minneapolis.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But all the tape you&#8217;re seeing is from Minneapolis.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Why is this not happening again in New Orleans? Why is this not happening in Dallas, Texas? Why isn&#8217;t this happening in red areas?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The answer is obvious. Tim Walz — who&#8217;s been absolutely abhorrent throughout this entire debacle, a terrible governor, a disgrace to the country, a man who was nominated for vice president of the United States by the Democratic Party — declared, “</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The basic idea here is that Walz won&#8217;t help by actively facilitating the deportation of criminal illegal immigrants. He’s going to facilitate the obstruction of law enforcement, and then, when things get violent, he’s going to tell federal law enforcement to pull out.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">They think they can provoke us into abandoning our values,” </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> he wrote on Facebook. “</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">They are wrong. We will keep the peace. We will secure justice for our neighbors. And we will see this occupation end.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">I don&#8217;t think Tim Walz is interested in keeping things peaceful in Minnesota. I see very little evidence that he is. Walz is building an entire permission structure for violence against officers.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Over the weekend, he said, “Quit referring to these people as law enforcement. They are not law enforcement.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What do you think he is saying to protesters? What do you think he&#8217;s saying when he says they&#8217;re not law enforcement?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He&#8217;s saying if they&#8217;re not, then what are they then? They must be lawbreakers because they&#8217;re wandering around committing crimes against other American citizens.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Thus, he creates a permission structure for all of this.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He compared illegal immigrant children in Minnesota to Anne Frank.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">No.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anne Frank was not attempting to immigrate to the country from which she was deported. Anne Frank was a citizen of the country in which she lived. She was sent to Auschwitz and then transferred to Bergen-Belsen, where she died of typhus. That is not the same thing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">American law enforcement agents, ICE officers, and Border Patrol agents are not Nazis. They are not the Gestapo.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is a purposefully driven chaos operation pushed by Democrats for political purposes.</span></p>

<p>A Customs and Border Protection officer was injured Wednesday morning in Compton, California, after an illegal immigrant human smuggler with a rap sheet &#8220;rammed&#8221; federal agents with his vehicle, the Department of Homeland Security told The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>The ramming happened as officers were trying to arrest Salvadoran national William Eduardo Moran Carballo, who is involved in a human smuggling operation and has two prior arrests for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, DHS said. Carballo has had a final order of deportation since 2019.</p>
<p>One of the officers responded by firing &#8220;defensive shots,&#8221; DHS said. Carballo, who was not hit, tried to run from the officers before he was eventually nabbed.</p>
<p>“In a dangerous attempt to evade arrest, this criminal illegal alien weaponized his vehicle and rammed law enforcement. Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired defensive shots,&#8221; DHS said in a statement.</p>
<p>“These dangerous attempts to evade arrest have surged since sanctuary politicians, including Governor Newsom, have encouraged illegal aliens to evade arrest and provided guides advising illegal aliens how to recognize ICE, block entry, and defy arrest,&#8221; the agency added.</p>
<p>DHS said the &#8220;situation is evolving, and more information is forthcoming.”</p>
<p>The latest ramming incident comes just two weeks after a woman, reportedly part of an anti-ICE watch group in Minneapolis, allegedly hit an ICE officer with her car as she tried to block federal authorities.</p>
<p>A week later, an illegal immigrant in a nearby neighborhood hit an ICE officer with a snow shovel and broom handle as he tried to evade arrest. The target was previously convicted for driving without a license and arrested for two counts of giving a false name to a peace officer.</p>
<p>He was previously released from a local jail by local authorities before ICE could arrest him.</p>
<p>ICE is currently facing a more than 1,300% surge in assaults and a 3,200% increase in vehicular attacks, according to DHS.</p>

<p>CNN anchor Erin Burnett gave Renee Good&#8217;s former father-in-law an opportunity to question or even condemn the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent who shot his daughter after she struck him with her vehicle.</p>
<p>Timmy Macklin, father of Good&#8217;s late ex-husband and grandfather to her six-year-old son, joined the host of &#8220;Erin Burnett Out Front&#8221; to discuss the situation — and despite prompts from Burnett, he made it clear that he did not hold any ill will toward the agent who fired the shot.</p>

<p>Burnett began by noting that the Justice Department was not planning to investigate the actions taken by the ICE agent at the scene, but that some comments had been made about investigating the actions taken by Renee — and by her partner, Rebecca Good — that led up to the fatal confrontation.</p>
<p>&#8220;How do you feel about all that?&#8221; Burnett asked.</p>
<p>&#8220;Well, you know, I’m not blaming anybody. I mean, it&#8217;s a hard situation all the way around,&#8221; Macklin said. &#8220;It&#8217;s hard for everybody involved. I mean, the ICE agent — you know, at first I didn‘t see the footage where &#8230; he was actually being rammed. I mean, I‘ve seen the bump of the car hitting his legs. And so in a flash like that, it‘s hard to say how you would react.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;From my understanding, he had been through that before, maybe dragged or something,&#8221; Macklin continued, referring to a previous incident in which the ICE agent had been dragged down the road. Like I said, it&#8217;s just a hard situation for everybody.&#8221;</p>
<p>Macklin said that he didn&#8217;t have &#8220;any enemies&#8221; and had no issue with Renee or Rebecca, but also said that he had none with the ICE agents involved either. &#8220;That&#8217;s what the bible tells us, to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.&#8221;</p>
<p>He went on to say that some &#8220;bad choices&#8221; had been made, adding, &#8220;The Word says &#8216;the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t blame ICE, I don&#8217;t blame Rebecca, I don&#8217;t blame Renee. I just, you know, I just wish that, you know, if — if we&#8217;re walking the spirit of God, I don&#8217;t think she would have been there. That&#8217;s the way I look at it,&#8221; he said.</p>

<p>Fox News host Greg Gutfeld asked why there were no friends or family members willing to step in and advise liberal women against putting themselves in harm&#8217;s way by obstructing the actions of armed federal officers.</p>
<p>Gutfeld raised the question during Monday&#8217;s broadcast of &#8220;The Five,&#8221; arguing that liberals could not publicly advise anyone not to engage Immigration and Customs Enforcement and keep their claim to &#8220;virtue&#8221; intact.</p>

Why is breaking the law wrong? Why do we need this kind of enforcement? What is wrong with an open border?&#8221;</p>
<p>Gutfeld went on to argue that the entire point of the feigned ignorance was to bog conservatives down in answering those questions, all the while knowing that the liberals asking them knew the answers.</p>
<p>&#8220;You don&#8217;t break into Disneyland, you pay,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;You don&#8217;t cut in line at the movies, you wait in line. You don&#8217;t interfere with the police, you know it&#8217;s wrong.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;You are living a lie,&#8221; Gutfeld said, adding that when it came to the far-Left, their private behavior did not align with their public behavior.</p>
<p>&#8220;I want every liberal, because we have millions of liberals watching this show, to engage in a thought scenario,&#8221; Gutfeld continued. &#8220;You ask your sister this question: &#8216;So, what are your plans today, Deborah?&#8217; She goes, &#8216;Well, I plan on filming myself harassing and impeding armed law enforcement.&#8217; So, how would you respond to your sister?&#8221;</p>
<p>Gutfeld argued that most people, regardless of political affiliation, would advise against such actions.</p>
<p>&#8220;If you deny, to a family member or a best friend, that this is how you would react, you are lying to yourself to protect your public virtue,&#8221; Gutfeld declared. &#8220;Would you say, &#8216;You go, girl?&#8217; Of course not! You would say, &#8216;You need an intervention. I need to stop you because I care about you.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;That is the problem, Jessica,&#8221; he said then, turning to liberal cohost Jessica Tarlov. &#8220;Nobody cares about [Renee] Good. You don&#8217;t care about her, the Left never cared about her, the activist group that trained her didn&#8217;t care about it – who should be sued for wrongful death, who put her in this situation. She had no friends, she had no relatives to offer her advice when she was doing this stuff, when she was putting her life in jeopardy.&#8221;</p>
<p>Gutfeld went on to say that Good was not alone in that — and that many other women had appeared in similar videos harassing ICE agents, although usually with less tragic ends.</p>
<p>&#8220;Where are their friends? Where are their parents? Where are the kids that would say, &#8216;Mommy, what are you doing? Why aren&#8217;t you home?'&#8221; he asked.</p>

Despite evidence to the contrary provided in multiple videos — from several different angles — media outlets were quick to assist Democrats in their claims that the ICE agents were nothing more than aggressors, carrying out the whims of President Donald Trump.</p>
<p>For those who don&#8217;t spend their Sunday mornings glued to the television — and their Sunday afternoons attempting to dig through a week&#8217;s worth of network and cable news media spin — The Daily Wire has compiled a short summary of what you may have missed.</p>
<p>Even after videos emerged showing Good intentionally blocking federal agents with her car and taunting them — and then accelerating and striking the agent before he began firing his weapon — Democrats and the legacy media persisted in pushing several distinct narratives. While their coverage varied, the common thread was a simple one: <em>the ICE agents had done something wrong.</em></p>
<p>ABC News anchor Martha Raddatz brought in Senator Tina Smith (D-MN) to discuss the situation, and Smith complained that the Department of Homeland Security had referred to Good&#8217;s behavior as &#8220;domestic terrorism&#8221; before details had been released. Of course, by the time Smith joined the broadcast, it had become apparent that Good was part of an anti-ICE activist group and had been trained to obstruct federal agents as they worked to enforce immigration law.</p>

<p>&#8220;No professional law enforcement would exchange words or banter with somebody who is engaged in their legal right to protest and then lose control, which looks to me like what happened here,&#8221; she said.</p>

<p>Raddatz also spoke with former acting ICE Director John Sandweg about the shooting, asking how the landscape had changed in recent years. Marching straight through the door Raddatz had opened for him, Sandweg said that ICE had adopted new &#8220;tactics&#8221; — and that those tactics were the real reason agents were facing dramatic increases in assaults against them as well as confrontations that ended in violence.</p>

<p>On CBS News, &#8220;Face the Nation&#8221; anchor Margaret Brennan spoke with Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) about the shooting — and she too made the claim that the ICE agent in question had not been properly trained.</p>
<p>&#8220;Renee Nicole Good, as you hear her say, she&#8217;s not mad, she&#8217;s sitting in her car, peacefully waving cars to get by,&#8221; Omar said, leaving out the fact that Good had positioned her vehicle so that it created a choke point that would only let one car, moving slowly, to get around her. She then immediately identified the ICE officer as the aggressor, describing his actions as wholly unnecessary and suggesting that Good was attempting to flee the scene because he&#8217;d scared her.</p>
<p>&#8220;And then you see the other officer, who can clearly see the car is moving, move toward the front of the car, which if they are saying that he has ten years on service and is trained, he should know that you shouldn&#8217;t be trying to get in front of a moving car,&#8221; Omar claimed, despite multiple video angles that show the officer standing in front of the vehicle prior to Good&#8217;s acceleration.</p>

<p>Although Brennan offered no challenge to Omar&#8217;s narrative — despite the video evidence that contradicted it — she did push back slightly when she asked whether it was reasonable to have citizens effectively stalking federal agents while they were attempting to do their jobs.</p>
<p>Omar insisted that it was &#8220;very important&#8221; for Americans to record ICE agents while they work &#8220;to create the level of accountability and transparency,&#8221; adding, &#8220;I think it is fair for citizens to document what law enforcement is doing in their communities.&#8221;</p>

<p>New shocking details have emerged in the case of a suspected member of the notorious Venezuelan prison Tren de Aragua, who federal authorities have charged with attempting to run over U.S. immigration officers in Portland.</p>
<p>One Border Patrol agent pulled a gun and fired a “defensive shot” at the vehicle, according to the Department of Homeland Security. The suspected gang member and his passenger, a suspected Tren de Aragua-tied prostitute, sped off.</p>
<p>The Daily Wire obtained newly unsealed charges filed against the driver, Luis David Nico Moncada, who is now charged with aggravated assault of a federal officer with a deadly or dangerous weapon and depredation of federal property in excess of $1,000.</p>
<p>Moncada, who crossed the border illegally during the Biden administration and later received a deportation order, was driving the alleged prostitute in a red pickup truck when he was pulled over by six Border Patrol agents.</p>
<p>Four of the agents approached Moncada, who appeared &#8220;anxious and visibly moving around in the driver&#8217;s seat,&#8221; and asked him and the alleged prostitute to exit the vehicle.</p>
<p>Instead, Moncada reversed his car and hit an unoccupied Border Patrol vehicle &#8220;with enough speed and force to cause significant damage,&#8221; according to the charging documents. He then put his car in drive, &#8220;and continued the forward/reverse maneuver multiple times, striking the Border Patrol vehicle multiple times.&#8221;</p>
<p>One of the agents fired their gun at Moncada before he fled the scene.</p>
<p>Another agent on scene told federal investigators he feared Moncada could strike the agents or another car, according to the charging documents.</p>
<p>Photos included in the documents appear to show that the Border Patrol vehicle&#8217;s bumper was torn off, both headlights were destroyed, the front driver-side quarter panel was dented, and the driver side rear-passenger door and quarter panel were dented.</p>

<p>Moncada called 911 after fleeing the scene. When responding authorities applied a tourniquet to Moncada, he repeatedly stated “f*ck ICE.”</p>
<p>Both Moncada and the alleged prostitute, later identified as Yorlenys Betzabeth Zambrano-Contreras, were hospitalized with gunshot wounds.</p>
<p>In a later interview with the FBI, Moncada &#8220;admitted to intentionally ramming the Border Patrol vehicle in an attempt to flee, and he stated that he knew they were immigration enforcement vehicles,&#8221; according to the charging documents.</p>
<p>Zambrano-Contreras also crossed the border illegally under the Biden administration and was required to check in with ICE after she was released, but never did, according to the charging documents.</p>
<p>She was allegedly involved in a shooting on July 7 tied to a bad prostitution deal. Before the shooting, Zambrano-Contreras called Moncada &#8220;to pick her up&#8221; and then contacted &#8220;a friend &#8230; who always carried a gun.&#8221;</p>
<p>The friend, who is identified as &#8220;Alex,&#8221; showed up at the scene with several other men who proceeded to break into an apartment where the alleged customer was holding the alleged prostitute&#8217;s earnings and belongings.</p>
<p>Agents were looking to arrest Zambrano-Contreras when the shooting occurred on Thursday.</p>
<p>Authorities had also tied the shell casings recovered that day to a shooting that took place three days later. That shooting involved a car purchase gone wrong involving Tren de Aragua members.</p>
<p>The Portland shooting took place one day after an ICE agent fatally shot Renee Good in Minneapolis. Before the shooting, the woman appeared to be blocking a road with her vehicle.</p>
<p>Federal agents were then seen approaching her vehicle and ordering her to get out of the car, before she backed up and pulled her car forward.</p>
<p>An agent who appeared to have been hit by the car fired a fatal shot at the woman.</p>
<p>The Department of Homeland Security called the incident &#8220;an act of domestic terrorism.&#8221;</p>
<p>“This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats,” the agency said.</p>
<p>The incident sparked mass protests across Minneapolis.</p>

<p>Following the fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis, the radical &#8220;ICE Watch&#8221; organization that she was working with is pushing to get more activists onto the streets.</p>
<p>The ICE Watch groups, which organize activists to follow and obstruct federal immigration agents making arrests across the country, are trying to get more activists out onto the streets where the Trump administration has warned that they could put their lives in danger.</p>
<p>On Saturday, thousands of activists participated in a church training in Roseville, Minnesota, where they were encouraged to annoy agents like &#8220;mosquitoes.&#8221; The group running the training session, Monarca, has scheduled six trainings since the shooting, all of which are &#8220;at capacity,&#8221; <a href="https://monarcamn.org/training" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to their website.</p>
<p>One of the local Minneapolis ICE watch groups, known as &#8220;defendthe612,&#8221; held a training the day after the shooting &#8220;for anyone who wants to learn how to plug in and for those who have already been in the streets and can share lessons from that experience,&#8221; according to an Instagram post.</p>
<p>&#8220;Practicing ICE Watch keeps our neighborhoods safer by ensuring people know their rights, have a plan, and know how to act in the event of targeting by ICE,&#8221; the post read. The group also organized a protest Friday night that later grew violent as rioters broke into a local hotel where they believed ICE agents were staying in Minneapolis.</p>
<p>A Minnesota woman named Kristin Peter said Good was on the same ICE Watch team as one of her coworkers, the New York Post reported. And despite Good&#8217;s fatal interaction with law enforcement, the activists don&#8217;t seem deterred. Peter said she herself was planning to attend of the group’s meetings Thursday night — and Minneapolis ICE Watch member Flannery Clark <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2026/01/10/us/video/ice-observer-responds-vance-comments-minneapolis-vrtc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> CNN she&#8217;s not stopping either.</p>
<p>&#8220;We have to do what we can to protect our immigrant neighbors,&#8221; she said, adding that it&#8217;s &#8220;too dangerous&#8221; to block ICE. &#8220;We document and make sure that the families of people who are kidnapped can find them.&#8221;</p>

<p>Just hours after the shooting, an Instagram account called &#8220;ICEoutoftwinports&#8221; said &#8220;NEED BODIES&#8221; in response to apparent Homeland Security Investigations activity at a daycare in Duluth, Minnesota.</p>
<p>Another post from the group that day asked &#8220;for people to SHOW UP in numbers&#8221; to an area where 100-200 agents were apparently spotted.</p>
<p>&#8220;Show up, record, inform them of their right to remain silent and not sign anything! Please proceed with caution and do not interfere directly with any investigation unless you are willing to face potential legal consequences,&#8221; the group wrote.</p>

<p>And some have already acted on the instructions from &#8220;ICE Watch&#8221; organizations.</p>
<p>Video captured by Fox News Friday showed Border Patrol agents warning two drivers against following them and impeding with their arrests in Minneapolis.</p>
<p>&#8220;If I continually see you following us, interfering with us, honking your horn, blocking our cars, you have a very high probability of making a really bad decision and being arrested today,&#8221; a masked Border Patrol agent said to the first woman as she sat in her car.</p>
<p>&#8220;I think I&#8217;m making exactly the right decision,&#8221; the woman responded.</p>
<p>Good apparently joined one of the activist groups after learning about it through her 6-year-old son’s leftist charter school, which prides itself on “involving kids in political and social activism,&#8221; <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/01/08/us-news/renee-nicole-good-was-minneapolis-ice-watch-warrior-who-trained-to-resist-feds-before-shooting/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to the New York Post.</p>
<p>A mother named Leesa, whose child attends the same school, told the outlet that Good “was trained against these ICE agents” on “what to do, what not to do, it’s a very thorough training,” adding that the training included how “to listen to commands, to know your rights, to whistle when you see an ICE agent.”</p>
<p>Good was killed after she appeared to be blocking a road ICE agents were trying to pass through. The officers could be heard in a video ordering her to get out of her vehicle, before she put it in reverse and then in drive.</p>

<p>Nearly seven months before a federal immigration officer opened fire on a woman accused of trying to ram him with her car, he was brutally dragged by an illegal immigrant sex offender he was trying to take off the streets.</p>
<p>The Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer opened fire Wednesday as a woman said to be blocking a road they were attempting to pass through didn&#8217;t get out of her car, as the federal agents instructed, before she reversed her vehicle and pulled forward. One video appeared to show the ICE officer, who has more than ten years of experience, fatally shooting the woman after her vehicle made contact with him.</p>
<p>The Trump administration has defended the ICE officer&#8217;s actions, saying the woman, who has since been identified as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, &#8220;weaponized&#8221; her vehicle to plow down the agent.</p>
<p>Democratic politicians, however, have accused the ICE officer of &#8220;murdering&#8221; Good. And protestors have formed angry mobs in Minneapolis to display their outrage with the ICE officer&#8217;s response.</p>

<p>In June, that same ICE officer was the victim of a brutal assault where he was dragged roughly 100 yards down a Minnesota street as he was chasing down an illegal immigrant convicted of &#8220;repeatedly sexually abusing his 16-year-old stepdaughter,&#8221; <a href="https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.mnd.225947/gov.uscourts.mnd.225947.1.1.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to court documents.</p>
<p>At the time, the ICE officer made multiple attempts to deescalate the situation and give the suspect a chance to comply with his orders, the court documents reveal.</p>
<p>Guatemalan illegal immigrant Roberto Carlos Munoz was out in the community after local authorities flouted a federal detainer and released him from custody.</p>
<p>Federal agents waited for Munoz to pull out of his driveway at his home in Bloomington, Minnesota, before pulling him over, according to the court documents. The ICE officer pulled diagonally in front of Munoz&#8217;s vehicle as an FBI agent turned on his lights to prompt him to pull over.</p>
<p>That forced him to stop.</p>
<p>The ICE officer, alongside the FBI agent, then pulled behind the illegal immigrant&#8217;s vehicle, approached him, and identified themselves as federal law enforcement. The ICE officer was also donning a patch that read &#8220;POLICE&#8221; on his vest.</p>
<p>The officers had their weapons drawn as a precaution since Munoz initially refused to pull over.</p>
<p>When Munoz raised his hands, the ICE officer holstered his gun while the FBI agent kept his out, but aimed it down.</p>
<p>The ICE officer walked up to Munoz&#8217;s window and ordered him in both English and Spanish to put the car in park.</p>
<p>Munoz failed to do so and instead rolled his window a third of the way down. At that point, the ICE officer asked him for identification, which Munoz held up to the window.</p>
<p>After that, Munoz placed his car in park. The ICE officer asked Munoz to roll his window all the way, which he refused to do.</p>

<p>That&#8217;s when the ICE officer pulled out his taser and pointed it at Munoz&#8217;s chest. Still, Munoz refused to lower the window fully and didn&#8217;t comply with orders to open the car door.</p>
<p>The ICE officer warned Munoz in both English and Spanish that he would break the window if he continued to ignore him. The illegal immigrant continued to dig in his heels, forcing the ICE officer to break the rear driver&#8217;s side window &#8220;to avoid covering Munoz in broken glass.&#8221;</p>
<p>The ICE officer then reached into the car and tried to unlock the driver&#8217;s side door as he continued pointing the taser at Munoz.</p>
<p>While the ICE officer&#8217;s arm was in the car, Munoz proceeded to put the car in drive before turning the wheel to the right to go around the vehicle in front of him and driving onto a curb, accelerating rapidly.</p>
<p>As Munoz proceeded &#8220;at a high rate of speed,&#8221; the ICE officer was dragged along with his arm stuck in the car.</p>
<p>That led the ICE officer to fire his taser at Munoz. Despite being struck twice with the electric charge, Munoz &#8220;was undeterred&#8221; and continued driving away as the ICE officer &#8220;screamed.&#8221;</p>
<p>Munoz then began weaving his vehicle in an attempt to shake the ICE officer away. The officer was ultimately able to break free when Munoz got off the curb and returned to the street where they were initially situated.</p>
<p>The illegal immigrant continued to flee. Authorities were eventually able to arrest Munoz, <a href="https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/06/18/dhs-announces-arrest-illegal-alien-child-sex-offender-who-dragged-ice-officer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to the Department of Homeland Security.</p>
<p>The ICE officer was hospitalized and received 20 stitches in his right arm and 13 in his left arm.</p>
<p>Munoz was later convicted of assaulting a federal officer.</p>

How ICE Agent Who Shot Minneapolis Woman Handled Previous Ramming By An Illegal Immigrant Pedophile

<p>The fatal shooting in Minneapolis on Wednesday involving federal immigration agents comes as threats against ICE agents surge, with both the number of assaults on agents and threats against them up by more than 1,000%.</p>
<p>Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, speaking after an agent fatally shot a woman who accelerated her car towards the agent as they asked her to exit the vehicle, said that the agent involved had been rammed by a car in a previous encounter.</p>
<p>&#8220;ICE alone is facing a 1,300 % increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats against all of them. In fact, the very same officer who was attacked today had previously been dragged by an anti-ICE rioter who had rammed him with a car and drug him back in June. He sustained injuries at that time as well.&#8221;</p>
<p>His is just one of many documented assaults on ICE agents, who have been highly active in cities across the country during the Trump administration.</p>
<p>&#8220;Today alone in this country, there have been four different domestic terrorist attacks on federal officers by the ramming of vehicles, three of them happened here in Minneapolis,&#8221; Noem said on Wednesday. &#8220;We&#8217;ve seen over 100 of these vehicle rammings happen in just recent weeks, and this must stop.&#8221;</p>
<p>Over the summer, on July 4, a militia of alleged Antifa members attempted to lure ICE officers out of an agency facility in north Texas by setting off fireworks. When the officers emerged, the attackers opened fire, injuring a local police officer, authorities say.</p>
<p>A nearby facility in Dallas was targeted in September by a shooter who stood on a nearby rooftop and fired into an ICE sally port where detainees were being moved. Although the shooter, who later turned the gun on himself, intended to kill ICE officers, he ended up killing two detainees.</p>
<p>The Daily Wire got a glimpse into the brutality of the attacks during an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/ice-agent-brutally-injured-by-violent-illegal-immigrant-pedophile-speaks-out">earlier interview</a> with an ICE officer who had 13 stitches in his upper lip and second-degree burns across his body after an illegal immigrant pedophile he was trying to nab attacked him.</p>

<p>The officer, who recently returned to the agency after the Trump administration offered incentives to retirees, said: “It’s a lot different from the job I left … everybody’s running, everybody’s fighting,” he told The Daily Wire in an exclusive interview Thursday.</p>
<p>“I would like the rhetoric to cool down a little bit, I think that’s probably fueled by some things that have been said about us,” he added.</p>
<p>The woman killed on Wednesday has been identified by her mother as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good. Good&#8217;s mother claimed her daughter wasn&#8217;t involved in anti-ICE activities.</p>
<p>Video from the incident shows officers ordering her to get out of the vehicle, before she backed up the car and then moved it forward. The video appears to show the car making contact with the ICE office.</p>
<p>The officer, who the Department of Homeland Security said feared for his life, fired at the woman, killing her. The federal agent was transported to a nearby hospital and was later released.</p>
<p>Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called the incident an &#8220;act of domestic terrorism&#8221; and has defended the officer&#8217;s actions as self-defense.</p>


Minnesota Shooting Comes Amid Record Surge In Violent Threats And Assaults Against ICE Agents

<p>Since President Donald Trump commenced his mass deportation effort, anti-ICE activists have increasingly attacked federal authorities who are making the campaign promise a reality.</p>
<p>ICE officers have faced a more than 1,150% increase in assaults and an 8,000% surge in death threats, according to the Department of Homeland Security.</p>
<p>One of the most egregious examples was perpetrated by the first alleged <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-admin-hits-antifa-with-very-first-terrorism-charges-in-anti-ice-attack">Antifa members</a> to face terrorism charges for shooting up an ICE detention center in Alvarado, Texas.</p>
<p>Eleven militants allegedly lured officers out of the facility by setting off fireworks on July 4 before ambushing them with gunfire, resulting in the injury of one local police officer.</p>
<p>One of the suspects, former Marine Corps Reservist Benjamin Hanil Song, was on the run for a week before authorities caught him.</p>
<p>In nearby Dallas, Joshua Jahn, 29, opened fire from a rooftop hoping to kill ICE officers, but ended up <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/heres-what-we-know-about-ice-shooter-joshua-jahn">killing two detainees</a>. Jahn turned the gun on himself and died at the scene.</p>
<p>Jahn left bullet casings engraved with the phrase “ANTI-ICE” that revealed the “ideological motive” behind the attack, according to the FBI.</p>

He also left a chilling note that read: &#8220;Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ‘is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?'&#8221;</p>

<p>The shooter also used apps that expose ICE agents&#8217; locations and downloaded a list of Homeland Security facilities, the FBI said.</p>
<p>Far-left Illinois congressional candidate Kat Abughazaleh, 26, was indicted in October after she tried to block an ICE vehicle outside the agency&#8217;s facility in Broadview, Illinois, as seen in a video posted to her social media.</p>
<p>The video appeared to show Abughazaleh with a group of anti-ICE activists pushing her body against the front of the ICE vehicle.</p>
<p>&#8220;I have been charged in a federal indictment sought by the Department of Justice,&#8221; she wrote on X. &#8220;This political prosecution is an attack on all of our First Amendment rights. I’m not backing down, and we’re going to win.&#8221;</p>
