Authorities in Austin, Texas, have confirmed that the suspect in a shooting that left two dead and 14 more injured was wearing a shirt depicting an Iranian flag under a hoodie that read &#8220;Property of Allah&#8221; when he opened fire on Sunday morning.
Austin Mayor Kirk Watson and Police Chief Lisa Davis gave a press conference early Monday afternoon to give updates on the still-unfolding situation, and after taking a brief moment to thank all of those involved in the investigation, they promised additional information would be coming about the suspect in another press conference tentatively scheduled for Thursday.
&#8220;We are still in the early hours of the investigation; this is a complicated and large crime scene,&#8221; Davis said, identifying the two deceased victims as Savitha Shan and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/full-of-life-texas-tech-student-slain-in-austin-shooting-as-fbi-eyes-possible-terror-link">Ryder Harrington</a> and adding, &#8220;I cannot imagine the grief, pain, and loss these families are feeling today, and my heart is with them.&#8221;
Davis went on to note that the magnitude of the crime scene would necessarily slow the investigation. Officials are tasked with interviewing more than 150 witnesses who were present at the time of the shooting — and information will be provided to the press and the public as it is deemed appropriate. She also said that in the coming days, after they&#8217;ve been thoroughly reviewed, authorities would be releasing the footage from body-worn cameras.
Once they had given the available updates, Davis and Watson took several questions from the press. It was confirmed then that the shooter, identified as Senegalese immigrant and naturalized U.S. citizen Ndiaga Diagne, had been wearing a shirt with the Iranian flag on it under his hoodie. There was also a Quran located in his vehicle, as was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/fbi-probes-potential-nexus-to-terrorism-in-deadly-austin-shooting-spree">previously reported</a> by The Daily Wire.
Davis, in response to a question from the press, said that the shooter had purchased his firearms legally, and that he had not previously been on law enforcement&#8217;s &#8220;radar.&#8221;
During the question-and-answer period, officials also confirmed that of the 14 who were injured in the attack, one was expected to be taken off life support in the near future — and two remain in critical condition.
In the coming days, investigators will be working to piece together a timeline of the events leading up to the shooting in an effort to get a better picture of the shooter&#8217;s motive.

A heavy security presence remains in downtown Austin after a chaotic shooting spree early Sunday morning left two victims dead and 14 others injured.
According to the <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/03/01/us-news/austin-mass-shooter-possibly-motivated-by-iran-attacks-quran-found-in-car-as-fbi-eyes-terrorism/">New York Post</a>, the shooter has been identified as Ndiaga Diagne, a Senegalese immigrant and naturalized U.S. citizen. Diagne “was naturalized in 2013 and later applied for asylum in 2016.”
Fox News obtained a photo of the suspect armed and wearing a hoodie emblazoned with the phrase “Property of Allah.” A Quran was also reportedly found in his vehicle.
“I am told he was also wearing an undershirt that had an Iranian flag on it,” Fox News’ Bill Melugin wrote in a post on X.

The violence erupted just before 2 a.m. near Buford’s bar on West Sixth Street, according to <a href="https://www.kvue.com/article/news/local/active-attack-reported-in-downtown-austin/269-1a19c462-1416-4316-8dba-732c395fbfcf">KVUE</a>. Austin Police Chief Lisa Davis reported that the suspect, driving a large SUV, circled the block several times before stopping and activating his hazard lights. From the vehicle, he opened fire with a handgun. He then parked near Wood Street and continued his assault on foot, moving east on Sixth Street while switching between a pistol and a rifle.
Officers stationed nearby for the weekend entertainment rush engaged the suspect almost immediately, fatally shooting him. While the suspect fired multiple rounds toward the bar, Chief Davis confirmed he never gained entry to the building.
The rapid response of emergency services likely prevented further loss of life.
&#8220;We have paramedics embedded in the entertainment district,&#8221; said ATCEMS Chief Robert Luckritz, noting that life-saving treatment began just 57 seconds after the initial 911 call. Mayor Kirk Watson praised the coordination, stating there was &#8220;no question&#8221; the speed of the response saved lives. Of the 14 wounded, three remain in critical condition.
The investigation has now taken on a federal dimension as the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) joined the probe. FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge Alex Doran confirmed that &#8220;indicators&#8221; found inside the suspect’s SUV suggested a &#8220;potential nexus to terrorism.&#8221;
In law enforcement circles, this specific phrasing acts as a legal &#8220;bridge.&#8221; By citing a &#8220;nexus,&#8221; the FBI acknowledges a possible link between the shooting and a broader extremist ideology or organization—whether through digital footprints, recovered materials, or direct communications. However, by labeling it &#8220;potential,&#8221; officials are exercising extreme caution. Under federal law, a &#8220;terrorist&#8221; label requires proof of specific intent to intimidate a civilian population or influence government policy. Until that motive is definitively proven in the lab and through interviews, the agency maintains a neutral stance to protect the integrity of the investigation.
While authorities later cleared some items in the vehicle as non-threatening, the JTTF remains the lead investigative body. This shift allows the FBI to utilize specialized tools, such as National Security Letters, to trace the suspect’s background and determine if the Austin community was the target of a premeditated ideological attack.

The armed intruder who was shot dead on Sunday after attempting to breach Mar-a-lago has been identified after being reported missing by his family.
Austin Tucker Martin, who was reported missing by his family on Saturday, was identified as the man armed with a shotgun and a gas can attempting to breach Mar-a-Lago, law enforcement sources <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/02/22/us-news/mar-a-lago-shotgun-wielding-madman-idd-as-north-carolina-golf-course-artist/">told</a> the New York Post.
Martin’s family has been desperately searching for Martin since Saturday, according to the Post’s review of Martin and his family&#8217;s social media accounts.
Martin’s social media reveals an obsession with drawing golf courses in the Sandhurst region of England, as well as local courses surrounding his hometown of Cameron, North Carolina.

Authorities said the suspect was carrying what looked like a shotgun and a fuel can when he was confronted. Shots were fired after Martin refused to drop the shotgun and gas can, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
President Trump and his family were not on the property during the incident, the Secret Service confirmed.
No agents or deputies were injured during the incident, and the FBI director Kash Patel confirmed the bureau is investigating the shooting.

A mistrial was declared in the federal case against alleged Antifa terrorists who ambushed federal immigration agents in Alvarado, Texas, last year.
During jury selection on Tuesday, a United States attorney raised concerns about defense attorney Marquetta Clayton, who was wearing a t-shirt under her blazer plastered with civil rights figures, <a href="https://www.fox4news.com/news/mistrial-federal-domestic-terrorism-case-over-alvarado-ice-facility-attack" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to Fox 4. United States District Judge Mark Pittman declared a mistrial before the jury was seated.
&#8220;I don&#8217;t know why in the world you would think that&#8217;s appropriate,&#8221; Pittman told Clayton, <a href="https://www.keranews.org/criminal-justice/2026-02-17/judge-declares-mistrial-in-prairieland-ice-shooting-trial-over-lawyers-politically-charged-shirt" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to KERA News.
Pittman, who said he admired the civil rights figures, likened the shirt to a prosecutor sporting an ICE pin or “a shirt with Donald Trump riding an eagle” and waving an ICE flag, the outlet reported.
“Politics — as prevalent as they are, as divided as they are — don’t have any business here,” he said.

The mask-wearing anarchists allegedly lured Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents out of the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, by setting off fireworks outside on July 4. One of the alleged Antifa militants then yelled &#8220;Get to the rifles&#8221; seconds before they “opened fire on the officers, striking the Alvarado officer in the neck area as the unarmed correctional officers ducked and ran for cover,” according to court documents.
A local police officer was shot in the melee, but survived their injuries.
“The wounded officer fell to the ground but was able to return a few shots. Coconspirator-1 continued to fire additional rounds until his rifle jammed. The attackers then left the scene,” it added.
Authorities initially <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/07/17/us-news/how-texas-ice-ambush-suspect-evaded-cops-for-a-week-before-capture-revealed-in-court-docs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">arrested</a> ten suspects. Former Marine Corps Reservist Benjamin Hanil Song, who allegedly fired shots during the ambush, was on the run for a week before they could hunt him down.
Five other people arrested in connection with the attack accepted plea deals and are expected to testify in the upcoming trial. Nine defendants are at the center of the latest case.
A new jury selection will begin Monday, according to KERA News.
The outlet reported that Clayton was seen leaving the courthouse with her shirt turned inside out.
The judge said the attorney would need to return at some point in the future, when it would be determined whether or not she&#8217;d face sanctions.

Two people were killed and at least three others critically injured after a man who identifies as a woman opened fire at a high school hockey game in Rhode Island.
Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2kkgm-QJmU" target="_blank" rel="noopener">confirmed</a> in a Monday evening press conference that Robert Dorgan, who goes by the name Roberta Esposito, killed himself after what she said was likely a targeted shooting stemming from a family dispute. A <a href="https://x.com/bennyjohnson/status/2023568697302880622?s=46&amp;t=o-U3qwC25WnWaylJ0oeG7Q" target="_blank" rel="noopener">clip</a> circulating on social media appears to show Dorgan&#8217;s daughter leaving a police station and telling reporters that her father &#8220;shot my family&#8221; and &#8220;he&#8217;s dead now.&#8221; The woman added that Dorgan &#8220;has mental health issues,&#8221; and &#8220;was very sick.&#8221;
Court records from 2020 <a href="https://www.wpri.com/target-12/pawtucket-shooters-gender-identity-tied-to-past-family-disputes-court-records-show/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">confirm</a> that Dorgan had undergone gender reassignment surgery. Dorgan claimed to North Providence Police at the time that his father-in-law attempted to throw him out of the house following his surgery. Around that time, Dorgan&#8217;s wife filed for divorce, initially citing “gender reassignment surgery, narcissistic + personality disorder traits&#8221; as the reason before crossing them out and writing &#8220;irreconcilable differences.&#8221;
Authorities have not publicly identified the victims, nor have they confirmed the precise relationships involved in the apparent family dispute. Police have also not released information about the weapon used.
This is the latest shooting perpetrated by a transgender-identifying attacker. Earlier this month, a man who identified as a woman and wore a dress <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/youtube-confirms-trans-themed-page-is-linked-to-canada-mass-shooting-suspect?author=Leif+Le+Mahieu&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Canada+School+Attacker+Was+Trans+Identifying+Man%2C+Police+Confirm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">killed</a> 10 people at a Canadian school. Transgender-identifying shooters perpetrated deadly attacks on schools in Nashville in 2023 and in Minneapolis in 2025. The latter attack was the subject of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/the-last-questions-charlie-kirk-answered-were-about-a-trans-gun-ban-that-initiative-is-stalled" target="_blank" rel="noopener">last question</a> Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was asked when he was assassinated in September.
Kirk&#8217;s killer, Tyler Robinson, was, at the time of the attack, living with his &#8220;transgender partner,&#8221; a man named Lance Twiggs, who identifies as a woman. As The Daily Wire&#8217;s Mary Margaret Olohan reported this week, though the Trump administration was reportedly considering a ban on gun ownership for transgender-identifying people in the wake of the Minneapolis shooting, that ban has seemingly stalled. A source familiar with the Trump administration’s thinking said that the topic is not something that they have heard discussed since The Daily Wire’s original reporting in September.
Monday&#8217;s <a href="https://x.com/SpencerHakimian/status/2023516920973316389" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shooting</a> occurred at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena during a game involving multiple high school teams. Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2kkgm-QJmU" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> the suspected gunman is also dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Federal authorities, including the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, responded to assist state and local law enforcement at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena on Monday. Police said shots were fired inside the arena while spectators and players were present for what had been scheduled as a senior night celebration for the Blackstone Valley Schools cooperative hockey team.
“You don’t know what’s going on at first,” Melissa Dunn, the mother of one player, <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/video/woman-says-she-re-entered-pawtucket-rhode-island-ice-rink-during-shooting-to-find-her-son/?hsfs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> reporters. “You just hear the loud noises … then you realize something is very wrong.”
A player who was on the ice at the time said multiple shots were fired and that players ran to the locker room for safety.
“We pressed against the door and just tried to stay safe,” he <a href="https://www.wpri.com/news/local-news/blackstone-valley/coventry-hockey-player-on-ice-during-deadly-shooting-im-overwhelmed/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “It was very scary.”
Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien called the shooting “a terrible tragedy” and said the city is working closely with law enforcement and the Rhode Island attorney general’s office.
“What should have been a joyful occasion … was instead marked by violence and fear,” Grebien <a href="https://x.com/cityofpawtucket/status/2023549722959770109?s=46&amp;t=pc9rx8l9zLnkazX2Y6G_TQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. “Tonight, Pawtucket is a city in mourning.”

The man accused of shooting two National Guard troops in Washington, D.C., in November, killing one and seriously wounding the other victim, made his first court appearance on Wednesday morning.
Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old Afghan national who was in the United States as a refugee, pleaded not guilty to nine charges, which include a first-degree murder charge and multiple assault and weapons counts. Lakanwal allegedly drove to the capital from Bellingham, Washington, and opened fire on National Guard troops the day before Thanksgiving, killing Sarah Beckstrom and wounding Andrew Wolfe.
Lakanwal, who was shot by return fire, is being held without bond as his trial plays out. His next court date is scheduled for May 6.
Lakanwal&#8217;s first court appearance was originally scheduled for mid-January but was moved back to Wednesday to give his defense team more time to prepare after two additional counts of assault were added onto the charges. The federal murder charge against Lakanwal makes him eligible for the death penalty if he&#8217;s convicted, and shortly after the shooting, Attorney General Pam Bondi said that the federal government would seek it. Prosecutors said again on Wednesday that they could pursue the death penalty.
<h3>What we know about the shooting:</h3>
The National Guard troops from West Virginia were shot in what authorities have described as an ambush-style attack. Beckstrom and Wolfe, who were both patrolling the streets of D.C. as part of President Donald Trump&#8217;s crime crackdown in the nation&#8217;s capital, were shot in the back of the head with a .357 Smith &amp; Wesson revolver, according to court documents. Two National Guard majors who were nearby returned fire and struck the alleged shooter, who was subdued until law enforcement and first responders arrived on the scene.
D.C. Superior Court Judge Renee Raymond, who ordered Lakanwal to remain detained without bond, said that it appeared the suspect drove across the country &#8220;with a specific purpose in mind.&#8221;
<h3>What we know about the suspect:</h3>
<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/suspected-national-guard-shooter-was-radicalized-through-connections-in-afghanistan-noem-says">Lakanwal</a> was allowed to enter the United States under former President Joe Biden after he served alongside U.S. troops in Afghanistan as part of a unit that was backed by the CIA. The Afghan national settled in Bellingham, Washington, with his wife and children, but the Associated Press reported that he struggled to find a job and assimilate into American culture.
A community advocate who worked to help refugees wrote an email to the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants in January 2024 stating that Lakanwal “has not been functional as a person, father and provider since March of last year, 03/2023. He quit his job that month, and his behavior has changed greatly.”
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said in late November that Lakanwal was &#8220;radicalized&#8221; through &#8220;connections&#8221; he had in Afghanistan after being granted asylum in the United States. President Trump called the shooting a “terrorist attack” and said that the suspect “went nuts.”
“It happens too often with these people,” he added.
Noem also accused the Biden administration of failing to properly vet refugees following the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. Lakanwal’s asylum claim was approved in April under the Trump administration, but Noem claimed that &#8220;the vetting process all happened under Joe Biden’s administration.&#8221;
Lakanwal lived at an apartment unit owned by the Bellingham Housing Authority, a local government agency that provides housing for low-income people, according to a police report obtained by The Daily Wire. Body cam footage and police communications reviewed by The Daily Wire from the night the suspect&#8217;s home was raided revealed that three people — two males and one female — were inside the apartment at the time of the raid.
<h3>What we know about the victims:</h3>
Beckstrom, who was pronounced dead at a hospital on November 27, was a 20-year-old military police officer with the 863rd Military Police Company of the West Virginia Army National Guard. After graduating from Webster County High School with honors, Beckstrom enlisted in the West Virginia Army National Guard in 2023. While serving in the National Guard, Beckstrom was also enrolled at Glenville State University, where she pursued mental health studies. She was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, West Virginia Legion of Merit, the D.C. Distinguished Service Medal, and the D.C. Humanitarian Service Medal.
&#8220;Unit members described her as a quiet professional who exemplified dedication and always put others above herself,&#8221; the National Guard <a href="https://www.nationalguard.mil/News/Article-View/Article/4357078/spc-sarah-beckstrom-laid-to-rest-at-west-virginia-national-cemetery/">said</a>. &#8220;Many recalled her quick smile, infectious laughter and her ability to inspire others. She was an observant people-watcher who loved exploring and spent her off-duty hours in the District taking in museums and overall city life, her family members said.&#8221;
Wolfe posted a message on social media on Tuesday, saying that he is &#8220;grateful to be alive&#8221; and thanking people for their &#8220;prayers and support.&#8221;
&#8220;It&#8217;s been hard to go through something like this. Thank you for everything,&#8221; he added.
Earlier this week, Wolfe&#8217;s mother <a href="https://www.facebook.com/melody.wolfe.739/posts/pfbid0QDQ14Vmhnj9rkF4qwPDBErZuvLvQyjKYZxBg8dhj2uxrdGniUV8w7C6LTptKt9MJl?rdid=kZaw5eJrBRfHVNoX#">wrote</a> that the National Guardsman would have skull reconstruction surgery in March.
&#8220;Mentally, he is dealing with a language disorder called aphasia,&#8221; Melody Wolfe said. &#8220;There are different levels and he is currently in a middle stage. He can most often understand what we are saying, but has difficulty saying the words he wants to say. Over the past 6 weeks though, he’s made great strides and started out almost non verbal. So, in just a little over two months since the attack, he’s already working beyond the expectations that were anticipated.&#8221;

Two Border Patrol agents who were involved in the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis on Saturday have been placed on administrative leave, a Customs and Border Protection spokesperson told The Daily Wire.
The agents initially continued working but were assigned to different operations. Preliminary findings from a federal investigation <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/two-federal-agents-fired-their-weapons-during-alex-pretti-shooting-report-congress-says/">determined</a> that two Border Patrol agents fired their weapons during their confrontation with Pretti.
The CBP spokesperson cited &#8220;standard protocol&#8221; as the reason the agents were placed on leave. Border Patrol&#8217;s Gregory Bovino stated during a Sunday press conference that the agents were still on the job.
The Department of Homeland Security contradicted that claim, telling The Daily Wire Wednesday that the agents have been on administrative leave since Saturday.
The initial findings from the internal Customs and Border Protection review stated that Border Patrol agents were working to make an arrest in Minneapolis on Saturday morning when an agent was &#8220;confronted by two female civilians blowing whistles.&#8221; The agent issued a verbal command to the women to &#8220;move out of the roadway&#8221; when they made contact with Pretti.
&#8220;The [CBP officer] pushed them both away and one of the females ran to a male, later identified as 37-year-old Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a US citizen,&#8221; the report said. &#8220;The [CBP officer] attempted to move the woman and Pretti out of the roadway. The woman and Pretti did not move. The [CBP officer] deployed his oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray towards both Pretti and the woman.&#8221;
According to the report, the agents &#8220;attempted to take Pretti into custody,&#8221; but &#8220;Pretti resisted CBP personnel&#8217;s efforts and a struggle ensued.&#8221;
&#8220;During the struggle, a [Border Patrol agent] yelled, &#8216;He&#8217;s got a gun!&#8217; multiple times,&#8221; the report said.
&#8220;Approximately five seconds later, a [Border Patrol agent] discharged his CBP-issued Glock 19 and a [CBP officer] also discharged his CBP-issued Glock 47 at Pretti. After the shooting, a BPA [Border Patrol agent] advised he had possession of Pretti&#8217;s firearm,&#8221; CBP added. &#8220;The BPA subsequently cleared and secured Pretti&#8217;s firearm in his vehicle.&#8221;
Following the shooting, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called Pretti a &#8220;domestic terrorist&#8221; who arrived on scene &#8220;to inflict maximum damage on individuals and to kill law enforcement.” She has since faced backlash for getting ahead of multiple ongoing federal investigations.
“It was a horrible response,” a federal government source recently told The Daily Wire. “Many people I’ve heard from say it was unprofessional. She doesn’t know what she’s doing.”
North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis was among the growing number of congressional Republicans to condemn Noem and has since called on President Donald Trump to fire her.
Tillis, who announced last year that he would not seek re-election, told reporters Tuesday that Noem “has proven to be way out of her depth,&#8221; adding that her &#8220;amateurish&#8221; handling of the latest fatal shooting &#8220;should be disqualifying.&#8221;
&#8220;She should be out of a job,&#8221; he said.

All hell has now broken loose in Minneapolis after another shooting on Saturday involving federal officers and a person who allegedly attempted to interfere with them in the pursuit of their legal duty.
That person&#8217;s name was Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old Minneapolis man.
The Left continues to ramp up this chaos. They are doing this on purpose. There is no question that this is a purposeful attempt to undermine federal law enforcement in their pursuit of duty. And if that ends with ugly images on television, then that is exactly what they want.
They are desperate for ugly images on television because they believe the images will undermine the Trump administration&#8217;s immigration program and the Trump administration itself.
Let us be very clear. More people are being deported from red states than from blue states right now. But you&#8217;re not seeing these ugly images happening in red states.
Why?
Because red states are helping to facilitate the deportation of people who should not be here. Red states are helping to ensure that criminal illegal immigrants are not in the system. And when they arrest somebody for a crime and that person is an illegal immigrant, they then tell federal law enforcement, federal authorities, ICE, and Border Patrol, so the person can be deported.

Blue states, sanctuary cities, and sanctuary states are not doing that. That is what necessitates more boots on the ground from the federal government in these areas. And then local and state politicians have suggested that this amounts to a Gestapo-like occupation.
They&#8217;ve been driving their own supporters out into the streets. Some of those supporters are then obstructing federal law enforcement, committing federal crimes.
When that happens, the likelihood of terrible incidents goes way up. That is the simple logic, and that appears to be something that left-wing politicians want and are desperate for. It appears to be something that they think they can run on if they put ugly images on your television of immigration agents in confrontations with Americans.
And if some of those incidents end with death, then that means they will be able to undermine their political opposition.
That is despicable. It truly is. We should all — Democrats, Republicans, and independents — be in favor of criminal illegal immigrants going home, not being in the United States.

This is not a controversial issue. The necessity for a larger federal presence or harder implementation measures is only being made necessary because there are Democratic politicians and members of the legacy media who have decided to ramp up the rhetoric to facilitate the chaos.
This is indeed planned. That is a reality. So that ends with bad situations.
We&#8217;ve been saying this for months. You have the governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, coming out and saying that ICE agents are like the Gestapo or like the KKK. You have Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey saying the same, If you have all Democratic politicians suggesting that protesting ICE agents is not only a decent thing to do, but a positive and good thing to do, and then treating obstruction of federal law enforcement officers as a form of legitimate protest —which is the gray line they always seem to blur — you will end up with more confrontations, more violence, and more possible deaths under disputed circumstances.
There should always be a full investigation, not because I believe the officers are guilty of murder or manslaughter, but because I believe that it will exonerate the officers. And if it doesn’t, you need the full investigation to ensure that there&#8217;s continued trust in law enforcement.
Those investigations should go forward. They should be perfectly objective. They should not be railroading someone, as we have seen in the past with Derek Chauvin and George Floyd. The cases should not be adjudicated in the media.
That&#8217;s why the best response from everyone in the federal government to Walz to Frey should be a full, thorough investigation.
But of course, the biggest issue is why these incidents keep happening in the first place.
It is not just a matter of individual incidents that are randomly cropping up. This is not random. It is happening in a specific city at a specific time, in a specific place for a reason. 
It is being driven deliberately. I can&#8217;t emphasize this enough:  It is being deliberately driven by members of the Democratic higher echelons. It is being specifically driven by the legacy media.
I repeat: You are not seeing this in red areas, and more deportations are being carried out in those areas than in the blue areas. That’s a statistical fact. More deportations are taking place in Texas and Florida than are taking place in Minneapolis. 
But all the tape you&#8217;re seeing is from Minneapolis.
 Why is this not happening again in New Orleans? Why is this not happening in Dallas, Texas? Why isn&#8217;t this happening in red areas?
The answer is obvious. Tim Walz — who&#8217;s been absolutely abhorrent throughout this entire debacle, a terrible governor, a disgrace to the country, a man who was nominated for vice president of the United States by the Democratic Party — declared, “Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now.”
The basic idea here is that Walz won&#8217;t help by actively facilitating the deportation of criminal illegal immigrants. He’s going to facilitate the obstruction of law enforcement, and then, when things get violent, he’s going to tell federal law enforcement to pull out.
“They think they can provoke us into abandoning our values,”  he wrote on Facebook. “They are wrong. We will keep the peace. We will secure justice for our neighbors. And we will see this occupation end.”
I don&#8217;t think Tim Walz is interested in keeping things peaceful in Minnesota. I see very little evidence that he is. Walz is building an entire permission structure for violence against officers.
Over the weekend, he said, “Quit referring to these people as law enforcement. They are not law enforcement.”
What do you think he is saying to protesters? What do you think he&#8217;s saying when he says they&#8217;re not law enforcement?
He&#8217;s saying if they&#8217;re not, then what are they then? They must be lawbreakers because they&#8217;re wandering around committing crimes against other American citizens.
Thus, he creates a permission structure for all of this.
He compared illegal immigrant children in Minnesota to Anne Frank.
No.
Anne Frank was not attempting to immigrate to the country from which she was deported. Anne Frank was a citizen of the country in which she lived. She was sent to Auschwitz and then transferred to Bergen-Belsen, where she died of typhus. That is not the same thing.
American law enforcement agents, ICE officers, and Border Patrol agents are not Nazis. They are not the Gestapo.
This is a purposefully driven chaos operation pushed by Democrats for political purposes.

A Customs and Border Protection officer was injured Wednesday morning in Compton, California, after an illegal immigrant human smuggler with a rap sheet &#8220;rammed&#8221; federal agents with his vehicle, the Department of Homeland Security told The Daily Wire.
The ramming happened as officers were trying to arrest Salvadoran national William Eduardo Moran Carballo, who is involved in a human smuggling operation and has two prior arrests for inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, DHS said. Carballo has had a final order of deportation since 2019.
One of the officers responded by firing &#8220;defensive shots,&#8221; DHS said. Carballo, who was not hit, tried to run from the officers before he was eventually nabbed.
“In a dangerous attempt to evade arrest, this criminal illegal alien weaponized his vehicle and rammed law enforcement. Fearing for his life and safety, an agent fired defensive shots,&#8221; DHS said in a statement.
“These dangerous attempts to evade arrest have surged since sanctuary politicians, including Governor Newsom, have encouraged illegal aliens to evade arrest and provided guides advising illegal aliens how to recognize ICE, block entry, and defy arrest,&#8221; the agency added.
DHS said the &#8220;situation is evolving, and more information is forthcoming.”
The latest ramming incident comes just two weeks after a woman, reportedly part of an anti-ICE watch group in Minneapolis, allegedly hit an ICE officer with her car as she tried to block federal authorities.
A week later, an illegal immigrant in a nearby neighborhood hit an ICE officer with a snow shovel and broom handle as he tried to evade arrest. The target was previously convicted for driving without a license and arrested for two counts of giving a false name to a peace officer.
He was previously released from a local jail by local authorities before ICE could arrest him.
ICE is currently facing a more than 1,300% surge in assaults and a 3,200% increase in vehicular attacks, according to DHS.

CNN anchor Erin Burnett gave Renee Good&#8217;s former father-in-law an opportunity to question or even condemn the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent who shot his daughter after she struck him with her vehicle.
Timmy Macklin, father of Good&#8217;s late ex-husband and grandfather to her six-year-old son, joined the host of &#8220;Erin Burnett Out Front&#8221; to discuss the situation — and despite prompts from Burnett, he made it clear that he did not hold any ill will toward the agent who fired the shot.

Burnett began by noting that the Justice Department was not planning to investigate the actions taken by the ICE agent at the scene, but that some comments had been made about investigating the actions taken by Renee — and by her partner, Rebecca Good — that led up to the fatal confrontation.
&#8220;How do you feel about all that?&#8221; Burnett asked.
&#8220;Well, you know, I’m not blaming anybody. I mean, it&#8217;s a hard situation all the way around,&#8221; Macklin said. &#8220;It&#8217;s hard for everybody involved. I mean, the ICE agent — you know, at first I didn‘t see the footage where &#8230; he was actually being rammed. I mean, I‘ve seen the bump of the car hitting his legs. And so in a flash like that, it‘s hard to say how you would react.&#8221;
&#8220;From my understanding, he had been through that before, maybe dragged or something,&#8221; Macklin continued, referring to a previous incident in which the ICE agent had been dragged down the road. Like I said, it&#8217;s just a hard situation for everybody.&#8221;
Macklin said that he didn&#8217;t have &#8220;any enemies&#8221; and had no issue with Renee or Rebecca, but also said that he had none with the ICE agents involved either. &#8220;That&#8217;s what the bible tells us, to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.&#8221;
He went on to say that some &#8220;bad choices&#8221; had been made, adding, &#8220;The Word says &#8216;the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience.'&#8221;
&#8220;I don&#8217;t blame ICE, I don&#8217;t blame Rebecca, I don&#8217;t blame Renee. I just, you know, I just wish that, you know, if — if we&#8217;re walking the spirit of God, I don&#8217;t think she would have been there. That&#8217;s the way I look at it,&#8221; he said.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld asked why there were no friends or family members willing to step in and advise liberal women against putting themselves in harm&#8217;s way by obstructing the actions of armed federal officers.
Gutfeld raised the question during Monday&#8217;s broadcast of &#8220;The Five,&#8221; arguing that liberals could not publicly advise anyone not to engage Immigration and Customs Enforcement and keep their claim to &#8220;virtue&#8221; intact.

&#8220;The argument over this shooting is irrelevant if you deny the premise for them being there,&#8221; Gutfeld began, referring to the deadly confrontation between anti-ICE activist Renee Good and an ICE agent several days earlier. &#8220;This is part of the strategic ignorance where the other side doesn&#8217;t understand things: Why is ICE here? Why is breaking the law wrong? Why do we need this kind of enforcement? What is wrong with an open border?&#8221;
Gutfeld went on to argue that the entire point of the feigned ignorance was to bog conservatives down in answering those questions, all the while knowing that the liberals asking them knew the answers.
&#8220;You don&#8217;t break into Disneyland, you pay,&#8221; he explained. &#8220;You don&#8217;t cut in line at the movies, you wait in line. You don&#8217;t interfere with the police, you know it&#8217;s wrong.&#8221;
&#8220;You are living a lie,&#8221; Gutfeld said, adding that when it came to the far-Left, their private behavior did not align with their public behavior.
&#8220;I want every liberal, because we have millions of liberals watching this show, to engage in a thought scenario,&#8221; Gutfeld continued. &#8220;You ask your sister this question: &#8216;So, what are your plans today, Deborah?&#8217; She goes, &#8216;Well, I plan on filming myself harassing and impeding armed law enforcement.&#8217; So, how would you respond to your sister?&#8221;
Gutfeld argued that most people, regardless of political affiliation, would advise against such actions.
&#8220;If you deny, to a family member or a best friend, that this is how you would react, you are lying to yourself to protect your public virtue,&#8221; Gutfeld declared. &#8220;Would you say, &#8216;You go, girl?&#8217; Of course not! You would say, &#8216;You need an intervention. I need to stop you because I care about you.'&#8221;
&#8220;That is the problem, Jessica,&#8221; he said then, turning to liberal cohost Jessica Tarlov. &#8220;Nobody cares about [Renee] Good. You don&#8217;t care about her, the Left never cared about her, the activist group that trained her didn&#8217;t care about it – who should be sued for wrongful death, who put her in this situation. She had no friends, she had no relatives to offer her advice when she was doing this stuff, when she was putting her life in jeopardy.&#8221;
Gutfeld went on to say that Good was not alone in that — and that many other women had appeared in similar videos harassing ICE agents, although usually with less tragic ends.
&#8220;Where are their friends? Where are their parents? Where are the kids that would say, &#8216;Mommy, what are you doing? Why aren&#8217;t you home?'&#8221; he asked.
