<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Leftist activist and TV personality </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rosie-odonnell"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rosie O’Donnell</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> expressed her fury over </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/msnbc"><span style="font-weight: 400;">MSNBC</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> hosts recently traveling to Florida to meet with President-elect </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Donald Trump</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The comedian </span><a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@rosie/video/7438776026525732138?lang=en"><span style="font-weight: 400;">vented</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> about the meeting on TikTok. “Turn off the TV, because it’s like, impending doom, impending doom,” O’Donnell says in the clip. “But without a warning, they’re just like, ‘Well, Trump nominated so and so.’ Not like, ‘Holy s***, people. You’re not gonna believe this. We gotta do something.’ That’s what the newscaster should be saying. But they’re not. Hopeless.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She continued, “So Mika [</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Brzezinski]</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and Joe [Scarborough] went down to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring. So, last time I ever watch ‘Morning Joe,’ period. End of statement. Unreal, unreal. For months you were telling us he’s the worst thing that could happen to this country and democracy. And then you go kiss his ring. Despicable. Despicable you; both of you.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">O’Donnell was referencing the meeting Brzezinski and Scarborough had with Trump on Friday, which has generated a lot of criticism from Democrats. That meeting was the first time they had spoken face to face with Trump in seven years, The Daily Wire previously </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/morning-joe-hosts-blistered-over-attempt-to-restart-communications-with-trump"><span style="font-weight: 400;">reported</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, and it was done in an effort “to restart communications.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; co-hosts Scarborough and Brzezinski, who are married, said they talked to Trump about several controversial issues, from immigration to abortion, and did not agree on much but stressed that having open communication was the main goal.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;For those asking why we would go speak to the president-elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back – why wouldn’t we?&#8221; Brzezinski said. &#8220;Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump’s actions and words in the coarsening of public debate.&#8221;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Other MSNBC hosts were also outraged that the meeting happened, with contributor Jennifer Rubin calling it &#8220;disgusting&#8221; on Bluesky, the social media platform started by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey that’s become popular with leftists.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Host Katie Phang </span><a href="https://x.com/KatiePhang/status/1858520409710182606"><span style="font-weight: 400;">posted</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> on X, &#8220;Normalizing Trump is a bad idea. Period.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central&#8217;s &#8216;The Daily Show,&#8217; answered Brzezinski&#8217;s rhetorical question about why wouldn’t they meet with Trump. “Uh…Because you said he was Hitler.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Even conservatives are questioning the motives of the meeting. Nikki Haley, who lost the GOP presidential nomination to Trump, weighed in, <a href="https://x.com/NikkiHaley/status/1858573360256393618">posting</a> on X Monday, “Let’s be clear, Joe and Mika didn’t suddenly see the light, they saw their ratings. They realized they needed Trump for their survival.”</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She was responding to reports from last week regarding Belle being arrested in Wisconsin on drug and child neglect charges.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to court records, the 27-year-old was arrested and booked into the Marinette County Jail on September 17 on felony charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, and methamphetamine possession along with several misdemeanor drug charges, including disorderly conduct and possession of THC, drug paraphernalia, and illegally obtained prescription drugs. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She was released later that month after posting a $2000 bond but was later booked into Oconto County Jail on October 11, per </span><a href="https://ew.com/rosie-o-donnell-reacts-after-daughter-arrested-child-neglect-drug-possession-charges-8731137"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Entertainment Weekly</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. She is still in custody there for felony charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs and bail jumping, in addition to misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">O&#8217;Donnell adopted Belle with her ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter, when she was a baby. In 2015, Belle ran away from home at the age of 17 and was found a week later living with a boyfriend. She moved to Wisconsin that same year to live with her birth mother. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Belle and O’Donnell were estranged until 2018 but rekindled their relationship at that time due to Belle being pregnant. O’Donnell discussed their relationship during an appearance on “The Talk” that year.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;​​She&#8217;s doing better now and we&#8217;re both communicating with each other,&#8221; the actress said. &#8220;When somebody does something unforgivable to you and you can forgive them and they can forgive you, there&#8217;s a kind of grace that descends upon the both of you within that.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">O&#8217;Donnell has four other children: Parker, 29; Blake, 24; Vivienne, 21; and Dakota, 11.</span></p>

<p>Singer Madonna released her first statement on Monday following her hospitalization last month after reportedly being revived with Narcan.</p>
<p>Madonna <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CuheQvlOgmo/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading">thanked</a> fans on Instagram for their &#8220;positive energy, [p]rayers and words of healing and encouragement,&#8221; saying that she felt their &#8220;love.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children,&#8221; she said. &#8220;My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn&#8217;t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.&#8221;</p>
<p>She said that her focus was now on getting better so she could get back out on tour.</p>
<p>&#8220;The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I couldn&#8217;t be more grateful for your care and support.&#8221;</p>
<p>The “Material Girl” singer was found unresponsive late last month and was rushed to the hospital, suffering from what her longtime manager Guy O’Seary described as a “serious bacterial infection.”</p>
<p>However, a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/madonna-was-revived-with-narcan-before-being-rushed-to-hospital-report">report</a> from RadarOnline said that the infection may have been more serious than even he let on.</p>
<p>Sources reportedly told RadarOnline that the performer had to be revived with a Narcan injection when she was first discovered. While Narcan is most commonly used to treat narcotics overdoses, in Madonna’s case, it was believed to have been used for an entirely different reason: to reverse septic shock as a result of severe infection.</p>
<p>The sources did not indicate that the singer showed any signs of drug abuse or overdose, and her representatives have thus far declined to comment.</p>
<p>She has been released from the hospital, however, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rosie-odonnell-says-madonna-is-good-and-recovering-at-home-after-icu-stay">according</a> to longtime friend Rosie O’Donnell — and while she is still suffering the effects of the infection, she is on the road to recovery.</p>
<p>“She is recovering at home — she is very strong in general,” O’Donnell said of her “A League of Their Own” co-star.</p>

<p>Rosie O&#8217;Donnell said she told her daughter that you can be a girl and still &#8220;like all the boy stuff&#8221; during a chat about gender identity, adding that she was a &#8220;tomboy&#8221; who &#8220;loved being a girl.&#8221;</p>
<p>The comedian shared the story with actress Mayim Bialik on the May 9 <a href="https://www.bialikbreakdown.com/watch-podcast/rosie-odonnell" target="_blank" rel="noopener">episode</a> of the &#8220;Bialik Breakdown,&#8221; Bialik&#8217;s podcast about mental health.</p>
<p>O&#8217;Donnell said she was responding to her daughter telling her mother that her stuffed animals are &#8220;non-binary,&#8221; meaning they identify as neither a girl nor a boy.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m like, here we go. Here we go!&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell said.</p>

<p>&#8220;I said, well that&#8217;s fantastic,&#8221; she said she told her daughter. &#8220;You know what&#8217;s funny is that I&#8217;m a girl who people used to call a tomboy because I liked all the boy stuff when I was little. And you know what&#8217;s weird? I still do really like the boy stuff. I like football, I like riding a motorcycle. I like to do a lot of stuff that boys traditionally like to do.&#8221;</p>
<p>O&#8217;Donnell added that she &#8220;never was confused&#8221; about whether she was a boy or a girl.</p>
<p>O&#8217;Donnell said she also told her daughter, &#8220;But you know what else? Never was confused about thinking if I was a boy or a girl. Always knew I was a girl and loved being a girl. So you can be a girl and feel any way you want or you can figure out what it is.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m like rambling and rambling and she said, &#8216;Are you done?'&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell said.</p>
<p>O&#8217;Donnell is a lesbian who has been married twice to two women.</p>
<p>She is a foster and adoptive mother who has <a href="https://people.com/parents/all-about-rosie-odonnell-children/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">welcomed</a> five adopted children since 1995. Her youngest daughter is nine. She is also a grandmother.</p>
<p>The comedian is also a liberal Democrat who has donated thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates. Some of her donations in 2018 even <a href="https://nypost.com/2018/05/05/rosie-odonnells-campaign-donations-to-dems-went-over-legal-limit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">went over</a> the legal limit.</p>
<p>O&#8217;Donnell has had a massively successful career in comedy and television that includes a famous years-long <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/29/us/donald-trump-keeps-insulting-rosie-odonnell-heres-how-their-feud-started.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">feud</a> with Donald Trump.</p>

Those girls are pushed towards puberty blockers at 10 or 11, then cross-sex hormones when they are teens, and finally genital and chest surgeries, critics say.</p>
<p>Parents of trans-identifying children often cite their children&#8217;s preference for the activities of the opposite gender as a reason they knew their child was transgender.</p>

<p>That mother said she is discussing puberty blockers for her now 10-year-old daughter.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, it is more popular than ever for youth to adopt new gender identities. An estimated 300,000 minors aged 13 to 17 <a href="https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/press/transgender-estimate-press-release/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">identified</a> as transgender as of last year.</p>

<p>&#8220;Elisabeth Hasselbeck was on there and Bill Geddie was the producer of an all-women&#8217;s talk show with supposedly a woman&#8217;s voice was a man, an old, cis, white man, Republican who was against everything that I believed in and stood for, and he loved Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and would go into her little dressing room and give her notes and talking points of the Republican press that they would release daily,&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell said.</p>
<p>&#8220;She had the talking points,&#8221; the former co-host added. &#8220;I was trying to get her to feel more than to fact.&#8221;</p>

And Whoopi [Goldberg] was on it and we clashed in ways that I was shocked by.&#8221;</p>
<p>The comedian first appeared on the show as a co-host during the 10th season of &#8220;The View&#8221; from 2006-2007. She returned in 2014 to the ABC daytime show as a host once again, but her stint was very short and she left months later.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mulvaney claimed to be an “easy target” for critics because of only “transitioning” in the past year.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I think going after a trans woman that’s been doing this for like 20 years is a lot more difficult. I think maybe they think that there’s some sort of chance with me … But what is their goal?”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“These people, they don’t understand me and anything that I do or say then somehow gets taken out of context and is used against me and it’s so sad because everything I try to put out is positive,” the influencer added. “It’s trying to connect with others that maybe don’t understand me. It’s to make people laugh or to make a kid feel seen.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bud Light received </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/boycott" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="font-weight: 400;">intense backlash</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> earlier this month after Mulvaney announced a brand partnership with the beer company. The brand sent Mulvaney a custom beer pack that featured the influencer&#8217;s face on the cans to celebrate the first anniversary of Mulvaney’s &#8220;transition.&#8221; Mulvaney has also partnered with multiple other brands, including Olay, KitchenAid, Kate Spade, Ulta Beauty, Tampax, and recently, Nike women’s athletic wear. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mulvaney told O’Donnell about trying “to be the most uncontroversial person this past year” despite advertising for products specifically made for women, such as bras and tampons.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The social media star didn’t mention the controversies directly, but O’Donnell did. “Beer companies have been supportive of the LGBTQIA community for decades. This is not the first time. Who do you think sponsors pride? Gay people, trans people, we drink beer, too, man. Put down your gun, Kid Rock, it’s in bad taste,” she said, referencing a video the rock star made of himself shooting at cases of Bud Light. </span></p>

<p>&#8220;This is a tragedy of epic proportion, and it&#8217;s criminal negligence by that chemical and train company,&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell shared.  &#8220;And nothing&#8217;s being done about it. It’s not on the news enough. It&#8217;s not something that people are talking about. It&#8217;s like being pushed to the back burner.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The EPA comes out with a very non-alarmist, everything&#8217;s okay, don&#8217;t worry about a thing statement,&#8221; she added. &#8220;And it&#8217;s infuriating. I don&#8217;t trust the EPA. I don&#8217;t trust them. After 9/11, I don&#8217;t know how anyone could.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;There was no cleanup. There was dust everywhere,&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell continued.  &#8220;Toxic, horrible, cancer-causing. And they lied to the American people. I don&#8217;t believe the EPA.&#8221;</p>
<p>In a second video she posted on TikTok and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Coyv2XLA5gx/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a>, the former &#8220;The View&#8221; host hit back at some who said the comedian &#8220;finally woke up.&#8221; She also disputed that her stance was either Democratic or Republican, and said it was simply about being an American.</p>
<p>&#8220;I didn’t finally wake up. This is exactly how I felt at all national tragedies,&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell explained, as she listed things like 9/11, Columbine, and more. &#8220;This is what I feel — compassion for my fellow man; disappointment in a government that doesn&#8217;t take good enough care of its people; and frustration at the way corporate entities seem to have impunity in this country now.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;This is not a Democratic or Republican stance,&#8221; she added. &#8220;This is who I&#8217;ve always been and it is always what has mattered to all Americans. We have to stop with the right and the left. We have to come together, soon.&#8221;</p>

<p>O&#8217;Donnell <a href="https://pagesix.com/2023/01/03/why-rosie-odonnell-skipped-barbara-walters-tribute/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">began the post</a> by touting Walters&#8217; career and life, saying, &#8220;Very sad to hear about Barbara Walters passing. Although, 93, man, who wouldn&#8217;t take that?&#8221;</p>
<p>The &#8220;League of Their Own&#8221; actress went on to detail some of Walters&#8217; accomplishments as a journalist before turning to their more personal connection.</p>
<p>&#8220;What a long and eventful legendary life she had,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I was lucky enough to be in her orbit for a good many years and we saw a lot of Broadway shows together … May she rest in peace and may everyone remember just what barriers she broke down for women. She really did. She was the first and will always be remembered.&#8221;</p>
<p>O&#8217;Donnell confirmed that she had been invited to participate in the tribute — which included a number of current and former hosts like Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Lisa Ling, Sherri Shepherd, and Meredith Vieira (who joined the show by phone because she was not feeling well).</p>
<p>And although her publicist had initially stated that she had been traveling and unable to change her plans, O&#8217;Donnell suggested that there may have been another reason she preferred not to attend the event.</p>
<p>&#8220;You know, I didn&#8217;t want to be in a big group of people, and I don&#8217;t know, I was worried I would get upset and didn&#8217;t want to do that, so, there you go,&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell said — and a number of friends and fans were quick to support her decision.</p>
<p>Actress and friend Debi Mazar <a href="https://people.com/tv/rosie-odonnell-reveals-missed-the-view-tribute-barbara-walters/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> that she preferred the idea of grieving privately, commenting on O&#8217;Donnell&#8217;s Instagram post, &#8220;Mourning is personal &amp; PRIVATE A display for PR purposes is kind of vulgar, in my opinion. Barbara ADORED you. Remember when she came backstage after your wonderful performance in The Vagina Monologues? She came just for you.&#8221;</p>

<p>Comedian Rosie O&#8217;Donnell took a swipe at Dave Chappelle, who she said has an &#8220;obsessive-compulsive disorder&#8221; to focus on trans people even after being attacked on stage, and disputed the claim that there&#8217;s a &#8220;so-called war on comedy.&#8221;</p>
<p>During the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/to-the-chopra-wife-i-apologize-rosie-odonnells-tiktok-apology-to-priyanka-chopra-after-embarrassing-moment-makes-the-situation-worse">60-year-old actress</a>&#8216; interview for <a href="https://www.outfrontmagazine.com/in-conversation-with-the-legendary-rosie-odonnell/">Outspoken magazine</a>, O&#8217;Donnell was asked about the &#8220;controversy&#8221; these days surrounding comedians and if she believed &#8220;there is a so-called war on comedy.&#8221; <a href="https://twitter.com/Rosie/status/1536380191408132101?s=20&amp;t=kj1KEdppkBKO1WSeK9a0hA">Rosie tweeted</a> out the article on Monday in a piece that was recently published.</p>
<p>&#8220;I think the comedy world is divided just like the nation is divided,&#8221; the &#8220;A League of their Own&#8221; star shared. &#8220;I&#8217;m all for freedom of speech, yet Dave Chappelle&#8217;s outbursts and focus on trans men seems to be an obsessive-compulsive disorder of his because he can&#8217;t stop talking about it.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;Once you start censoring comics, it&#8217;s a slippery slope,&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell continued. &#8220;Sometimes, comics do provide the courage for a society to be able to look at difficult issues, and they can sort of change how the nation views who they are. Take a look throughout time. Lenny Bruce pushed it, and then George Carlin had his seven words you can&#8217;t say on TV. There are so many comics who talk about the silencing of comics. It&#8217;s a real thing, but I think it&#8217;s more of this oppressive political stalemate that infects every other part of our lives.&#8221;</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If Rosie O’Donnell were a conservative, she’d be called a disgusting racist based on a public apology she just made on TikTok.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The outspoken comedian made an apology </span><a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@rosie/video/7066961123521776942"><span style="font-weight: 400;">video</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> recounting an incident that happened at Nobu Malibu. O’Donnell explained how she recently &#8220;embarrassed&#8221; her son, his girlfriend, and Fran Drescher after she approached Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, who were also dining there.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She said she &#8220;had always assumed” the former Bollywood star “was Deepak Chopra&#8217;s daughter.&#8221; But the “A League of Their Own” star didn’t know Priyanka’s first name at the time or when she made the video.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Seated next to us was Nick Jonas and his wife &#8216;someone&#8217; Chopra, which I always assumed was Deepak Chopra&#8217;s daughter,&#8221; she said in the video. “So, when I said, &#8216;Hi, Nick Jonas, you were great in &#8216;Kingdom,&#8217; and &#8216;Hi, I know your dad,&#8217; she goes, &#8216;You do? Who&#8217;s my dad?&#8217; And I&#8217;m like, &#8216;Deepak&#8230;,'&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell said in her TikTok video. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;She&#8217;s like, &#8216;No, and Chopra is a common name.&#8217; &#8230; I felt so embarrassed.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Didn&#8217;t you think that Nick Jonas was married to Deepak Chopra&#8217;s daughter?&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell asked. &#8220;Am I the only one who thought that?&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She went on, making matters much worse by forgetting or not bothering to look up Chopra’s first name for a second time.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Nick Jonas, I apologize and to the &#8216;Chopra wife&#8217;, I apologize, too,&#8221; O’Donnell said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Chopra was not thrilled with the apology, especially because the comedian didn’t seem to care about researching her name before recording it. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“I have never taken myself so seriously to think everyone would know who I am, or my work for that matter. But if you wanted to make a public apology for a very awkward private encounter, I think probably best to take the time to google my name before doing it or even try to reach out directly,” the “Matrix” alum </span><a href="https://pagesix.com/2022/02/24/priyanka-chopra-responds-to-rosie-odonnells-public-apology/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">shared</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> to her Instagram Story Wednesday.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“We ALL deserve to be respected for our unique individuality and not be referred to as ‘someone’ or ‘wife’ especially in a sincere apology,” the post continued. “If we can learn to respect our differences in an authentic way, the world we raise our children in, will be amazing.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Chopra concluded by saying, “PS – As I’ve said before, not all Chopra’s [sic] are related to the great Deepak, just as not all Smith’s [sic] are related to the legendary Will Smith.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">O’Donnell attempted to apologize again after getting some pushback from fans on social media. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“People thought that she was rude. She wasn’t rude. It was just awkward. I’m sure she gets sick of that. I’m sure I’m not the only one. According to the comments, a lot of people thought that, too, but she’s apparently a very well-known actress and more famous than him, people were saying. So I’m sure it felt weird to her, to begin with,” O’Donnell said.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Anyway, Priyanka is her name. Priyanka. I hope I’m pronouncing that right. I just want to apologize to her and to everyone who thought that it was really inappropriate of me. Sorry, sometimes I f*** up. I did at Nobu,” the comedian concluded.</span></p>
