The “Sex and the City” spinoff Max series “And Just Like That” is getting some negative reactions from a storyline it added featuring Rosie O’Donnell playing a nun named Mary who loses her virginity to Miranda (Cynthia Nixon).
The episode “Outlook Good,” which premiered on Thursday, included the story of Miranda meeting a tourist named Mary (O’Donnell) at a lesbian bar in New York City. The women decide to head to Mary’s hotel room to engage in sexual activities, per <a href="https://people.com/and-just-like-that-rosie-odonnell-plays-a-virgin-nun-season-3-premiere-11743506">People</a>. 
Mary told Miranda she’s &#8220;amazing.&#8221; 
&#8220;I&#8217;ve never experienced anything like that,&#8221; Mary said. &#8220;Oh, you are really, really something. It felt so, I don&#8217;t know, electric, and yet, still so natural,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;I never dreamed my first time could be both those things.&#8221; 
&#8220;First time?&#8221; Miranda asked. &#8220;So then, this was your first time with a woman?&#8221;
&#8220;This is my first time with anyone. I&#8217;m a virgin. Well, I was a virgin,&#8221; Mary said before revealing that she’s a nun.
Later, Miranda recalls what happened while discussing the incident with her friend Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker). 
&#8220;In my defense, Mary never mentioned she was a nun. And she was dressed like a regular lesbian… In fact, she didn&#8217;t mention it until right after she told me she was a virgin,&#8221; Miranda said. 
&#8220;So, you deflowered the Virgin Mary?&#8221; Carrie joked.

Miranda spent the rest of the episode trying to avoid Mary, who kept trying to contact her. Finally, she said, &#8220;So, I gather you&#8217;re at the beginning of a new journey, and I know how that is because I just got off a crazy chapter myself. But don&#8217;t do anything solely based on what you&#8217;re feeling right now.&#8221; 
&#8220;Don&#8217;t leave God for me,&#8221; Miranda said, to which Mary replied, &#8220;Miranda, I would never leave God. We&#8217;re married.”
Reactions to the episode focused on O’Donnell’s involvement and the cringeworthy factor of the storyline.
“OK, my wife and I made it 23 minutes, 39 seconds into episode 1 of season 3 of #AndJustLikeThat,” one person <a href="https://x.com/KEVIN_FREE1971/status/1928263838173921542">wrote</a>. “The big hat! “I am… disgusted,” another person <a href="https://x.com/baddiesbaketoo/status/1928312440145465819">posted</a> via meme, referencing the O’Donnell/Miranda scenes. 
“Ridiculous!” another commenter echoed, while another person said “they’ve outdone themselves” after featuring Miranda in a relationship with Che (Sara Ramirez), a non-binary character from last season.

Comedian Rosie O’Donnell said she was “shocked” that Ellen DeGeneres moved out of the United States when Donald Trump was re-elected.
O&#8217;Donnell defected to Europe for political reasons, but didn’t think DeGeneres would do the same.
“I’ve never really known Ellen to say anything political in her life, so I was surprised to read that she left because of President Trump. Like, that shocked me, actually,” O’Donnell told <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/rosie-odonnell-details-ireland-move-and-connection-with-ellen/">US Weekly</a> in a recently published interview. “I’ve been a political person my whole life, not better or worse, it’s just a different way to be in the world.&#8221;
The “Ellen” show host and Portia de Rossi moved to the English countryside last year and have sold most of their properties in the U.S., according to <a href="https://people.com/rosie-o-donnell-shocked-ellen-degeneres-relocated-uk-11720749" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a>, but still have at least one home that requires them to retain a “chicken sitter.” 
Meanwhile, O’Donnell has been posting updates on TikTok about her <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rosie-odonnell-discusses-move-to-ireland-with-nonbinary-child-will-return-when-it-is-safe?author=Amanda+Harding&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Rosie+O%E2%80%99Donnell+Discusses+Move+To+Ireland+With+%E2%80%98Nonbinary%E2%80%99+Child%2C+Will+Return+%E2%80%98When+It+Is+Safe%E2%80%99">reasons for leaving</a>, which mostly have to do with concerns regarding her transgender-identifying child. She and Trump also have an <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/art-of-the-feud-donald-trump-and-rosie-odonnells-beef-goes-way-back">ongoing feud</a> from years back.
“I was very clear about the reason why I was leaving, and I don’t think it came as a surprise to anyone,” O’Donnell told the outlet about her move to Ireland. She also referenced a former feud with DeGeneres, saying, “We’re not really in each other’s worlds, and it’s been kind of awkward but you know what? I wish her the best. I wish that she has peace and love in her life and that she is OK.”
“I don’t want to fight against another gay woman,” she added. “It’s not like we’re tenaciously opposed to each other. We’re just very different people. We have had some stuff in the past that we never resolved. And not in any way as, as partners or lovers or anything like that, just as friends and comedians, but I wish her the best. I seriously do.” 
O’Donnell discussed what happened between them during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” in 2022. &#8220;We had a little bit of a weird thing,” the comedian said at the time. &#8220;Larry King was on with Ellen and he said &#8216;What ever happened to Rosie O&#8217;Donnell? Her show went down the tubes! She came out as a lesbian and disappeared!'&#8221;
&#8220;And Ellen said, and I&#8217;m quoting, &#8216;I don&#8217;t know Rosie. We&#8217;re not friends,'&#8221; she continued.
O’Donnell said in 2023 that DeGeneres apologized after it happened. She also noted how it hurt because they had known each other for “years” when DeGeneres claimed not to know her. 
“She wrote, ‘I’m really sorry, and I don’t remember that.’ I guess she saw me talk about it on Andy Cohen’s show,” she told <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/feature/rosie-odonnell-ellen-madonna-trump-queer-spotlight-1235514496/">The Hollywood Reporter</a>. “I remembered it so well, I had T-shirts printed and I gave them to my staff that said ‘I don’t know Rosie. We’re not friends.”

Rosie O’Donnell isn’t the only celebrity to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/exit-stage-left-celebrities-fleeing-trump-and-x">defect from the United States</a> after Donald Trump was re-elected president. But out of all the famous faces who have turned their back on America because of a political leader they don’t like, O’Donnell does have the longest-running public feud with the current commander-in-chief.
As Trump and O’Donnell trade barbs back and forth even now, it’s helpful to go back in time and figure out how their beef began.
Their first public altercation happened close to two decades ago in 2006 when Trump, as co-owner of the Miss USA pageant, decided not to fire Miss USA Tara Conner after it was discovered that she had a history of drug use, underage drinking, and sexual activities, which violated the rules of the competition. 
At the time, O’Donnell was a panelist on “The View” and made comments about the decision, and then took aim at Trump personally. The comedian said Trump went bankrupt and was not a “self made man.” She described him as a “snake oil salesman on ‘Little House on the Prairie.’”
&#8220;He annoys me on a multitude of levels,” O’Donnell said on the show. “[He] left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair, had kids both times, but he&#8217;s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Donald, sit and spin, my friend. I don&#8217;t enjoy him.&#8221;
Trump fired back, telling <a href="https://people.com/all-about-rosie-odonnell-donald-trump-feud-11702390">People</a> at the time, “You can’t make false statements. Rosie will rue the words she said,” specifically targeting claims that he went personally bankrupt, as Trump only ever declared corporate bankruptcy. “I’ll most likely sue her for making those false statements – and it’ll be fun. Rosie’s a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie.”
O’Donnell left “The View” the following year after having a conflict with fellow panelist Elisabeth Hasselbeck — a conflict in which Trump actually took her side. However, the two of them continued their feud mostly on social media for years after their first major spat.
When the “A League of Their Own” actress announced her engagement to Michelle Rounds in 2011, Trump again made his thoughts known. 
“I feel sorry for Rosie &#8216;s new partner in love whose parents are devastated at the thought of their daughter being with @Rosie — a true loser,” he <a href="https://x.com/realDonaldTrump/status/146994336670822400">wrote</a> at the time. 
O’Donnell responded by calling Trump an “a**.”
Two years later, he <a href="https://metro.co.uk/2025/03/25/rosie-odonnells-brutal-takedown-donald-trump-led-a-vicious-20-year-feud-22790469/">said</a> in a reply to another person on X that their feud “will never end.”
In 2014, Trump tweeted, “Rosie is crude, rude, obnoxious and dumb – other than that I like her very much!”
The pair sparred back and forth several times on X over the years. But it wasn’t all bitterness. In 2012 after O’Donnell suffered a heart attack, Trump tweeted, “Rosie, get better fast. I’m starting to miss you!”
She replied by saying, “well thank u donald &#8211; i must admit ur post was a bit of a shock … r u trying to kill me ?”
The comedian discussed their ongoing feud during a 2014 <a href="https://people.com/health/rosie-odonnell-on-weight-loss-surgery-the-view-cohost-talks-losing-50-lbs/">interview</a> with People, saying, “Probably the Trump stuff was the most bullying I ever experienced in my life, including as a child.”
“It was national, and it was sanctioned societally,” she added. “Whether I deserved it is up to your own interpretation.” This referenced how many social media users pointed out how O’Donnell started the back-and-forth with the comments she made on “The View.” 
Any hopes of the two reaching a truce ended when Trump ran for president in 2015. The presidential candidate kept mentioning O&#8217;Donnell during his campaign, like during the first Republican presidential primary debate in August 2015 when former Fox News host Megyn Kelly asked him about some of the more colorful language he uses to describe people.
“Only Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump retorted.
Trump mentioned his nemesis again during a debate against his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton. &#8220;Somebody who has been very vicious to me, Rosie O’Donnell, I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her,&#8221; he said.
O&#8217;Donnell responded in a post on X which she later deleted, calling Trump an &#8220;orange anus.&#8221;  In September 2016, she tweeted, “HE WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT.”
The comedian lamented Trump winning the presidency during a 2017 <a href="https://www.wmagazine.com/story/rosie-odonnell-smilf-showtime-new-donald-trump-interview">interview</a> with W Magazine.
“It has taken me a full year to integrate the reality of him being a president in a way that I don’t come across as either so full of rage that no one can hear my words, or so sad that I can’t articulate the level of pain,&#8221; she O’Donnell told the outlet. &#8220;It’s taken a year for me to get my equilibrium back, to come back up to the surface.”
She continued, “I seriously worry whether I personally will be able to live through [his presidency] and whether the nation will be able to live through it and survive. It’s a terrifying concept, on the brink of nuclear war with a madman in charge.”
At another point in the interview, O’Donnell complained that no one spoke up in her defense during the years-long feud.
“Unbeknownst to me, for reasons I can’t really still figure out, he was allowed with impunity to brutally assault me and my character for a decade,” she told the outlet. “No one – not the National Organization For Women, not Gloria Steinem, no one – stood up and said, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ It was laughed about.”
She continued, “When it was only me in that arena, it was a very lonely, isolated and depressing place to be. Even though [people say], ‘Oh you started it,’ well I actually told the truth about him on a show where my job was to talk about pop culture.”
Fast forward to almost a decade later and O’Donnell is once again forced to live in a world where Trump was elected president. Only this time, she decided to flee the country and apply to become a citizen of Ireland. 
The 63-year-old TV personality said part of the reason she defected to Europe after Trump’s big comeback was because she has a “non-binary” child who needs to be protected.
O’Donnell also <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rosie-odonnell-discusses-move-to-ireland-with-nonbinary-child-will-return-when-it-is-safe">talked about</a> being on her way to getting her Irish citizenship thanks to having Irish grandparents.
During a nine minute TikTok posted earlier this month, the celebrity mentioned how “proud and impressed” she is of her daughter Clay adjusting to their move. O’Donnell said, “It’s not easy to move to another country, and we really felt as a family this was the safest and best thing for us to do.”
“It looks like sadly we were correct for what’s happening in the United States is overwhelmingly depressing, unconstitutional, illegal, criminal, and so, so very sad,” she added. “Let’s hope that the world and the nation rallies against the current administration and their horrific ideas for what will make America great again. And it’s not racism. And it’s not homophobia. And it’s equality for all. That’s what we’re promised as American citizens.”
“I feel healthier, I’m sleeping better without the stress and anxiety over what was happening politically in the country,” she said of the United States.
Next, O’Donnell addressed the “feud.” 
“I knew that it would really tax me emotionally to have to do that,” she said of continuing to live in the country while Trump was president. “So I’m very happy that we made the decision that we made.”
The comedian has previously spoken about how her youngest child is a “nonbinary, beautiful human.”
Irish Taoiseach [Prime Minister] Micheál Martin visited the White House in March. A reporter asked him, “Ireland is known for very happy, fun-loving people. Why in the world would you let Rosie O’Donnell move to Ireland? I think she is going to lower your happiness.”
Before Martin could answer, President Trump chimed in saying, “That’s true, I like that question. Do you know you have Rosie O’Donnell? Do you know who she is? You’re better off not knowing.”

The comedian said she responded with a joke about how they should “look down” the “next time they’re in the bathtub.”
Clay allegedly replied, “Mommy, that’s their sex. That’s binary. I’m talking about their gender. And gender is infinite.”
“I am supportive of any way they want to be in this world and feel connected and happy,” O’Donnell told NBC Chicago at the time.
O&#8217;Donnell is one of several celebrities who has a child who identifies as LGBTQ. In 2023, O’Donnell said she told her daughter that you can be a girl and still “like all the boy stuff” during a conversation about gender identity, adding that she was a “tomboy” who “loved being a girl.”

President Donald Trump poked some fun at Vice President JD Vance’s wardrobe choice on Wednesday during an Oval Office meeting with Ireland’s Prime Minister Micheal Martin.
In a video posted on <a href="https://x.com/MaryMargOlohan/status/1899854196595147052">X</a> from Daily Wire’s White House correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan, Trump, Vance and Martin could be seen holding a press briefing while discussing the two countries’ relationships and goals.
The 47th President of the United States made it clear he was distracted by Vance’s cream-colored socks with green shamrocks scattered throughout.

“I’m trying to stay focused, but I’m very impressed with the VP’s socks,” he added, while the Vice President completely cracked up and couldn’t stop laughing.
The Irish leader also seemed to think Trump’s comments were funny, and enjoyed a laugh about the ribbing the president gave to Vance.
The Daily Wire WH correspondent captioned her post with the video, “Aaand Trump allegedly loves the socks.&#8221;
Ahead of the meeting, <a href="https://x.com/NewstalkFM/status/1899818161819505118">Vance</a> seemed to have an inkling that Trump might notice those festive socks when he gave remarks at a St. Patrick&#8217;s Day breakfast attended by Martin.
“One of the things that we try to do with this breakfast is remind people of the important bonds of friendship between the United States and Ireland,” Vance said, adding that it was a great opportunity to break out the green clothing and shamrock-printed items.
“The president is a very big fan of conservative dress,” he added. “So, if he notices these socks, you [Martin] have to defend me and you’ve got to say this is an important part of cementing the Irish-American relationship.”
At one point during the <a href="https://x.com/stoolpresidente/status/1899867196639064251">Oval Office</a> gathering, Trump also weighed in on the news that Rosie O’Donnell had moved to Ireland following Trump’s victory, after a reporter asked the Prime Minister how he could let O’Donnell move there. O&#8217;Donnell and Trump have had battles in the past.
“Ireland is known for its very happy, fun-loving people. Great attitude, many of them in this room right now that I’ve met. Why in the world would you let Rosie O’Donnell move to Ireland? I think she is going to lower your happiness level,” the reporter said to Martin, who definitely seemed unaware about what he was asking.
“Thank you,” Trump said. “I like that question.”
“Do you know you have Rosie O’Donnell? Do you know who she is?” Trump asked Martin. “You’re better off not knowing,” the president quipped.

Rosie O’Donnell finally confirmed rumors that she moved out of the United States following President Donald Trump’s victory as she called out legacy media for not doing their job.
In a nearly ten-minute long video posted on Tuesday on <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@rosie/video/7480502460596079918">TikTok</a>, the 62-year-old TV personality/comedian and vocal supporter of the Democratic Party said on January 15, before Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, she and her 12-year-old daughter Dakota &#8212; who now goes by Clay &#8212; moved to Ireland.
“It’s been pretty wonderful, I have to say. The people are so loving and so kind, so welcoming and I’m very grateful,” O’Donnell said, noting that she decided to move because it “would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child.”

“I’m happy. Clay is happy,” she added. “I miss my other kids. I miss my friends. I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back.”
“It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well. The personal is political, as we all know,” O’Donnell continued, subtly referencing her past battles with Trump.
Without naming Trump, the former host of “The View” said the move out of the United States was something she just felt like she and her child “needed to take care of ourselves and make some hard decisions and follow through.”
O’Donnell said that the legacy media in America “has been letting us all down” and “haven’t been doing their job,” which she said they are required to do “in order to maintain a democracy.” The comedian also claimed the only place a person can get news about “protests and what not” was on TikTok, without explaining further.
“So, here’s hoping that they [media] will get better before it’s too late,” O’Donnell said. “And here’s hoping that it’s not too late already. Protect your sanity is all I can say. Protect your sanity as much as you can, and try not to swim in the chaos if possible. But I know it’s nearly impossible when you’re there in the middle of it.&#8221;
“I think about everyone every day and the United States of America,” she added. “And I am hoping that we can turn things around, counting on you, all of you, to do what’s right. And I think deep down inside, we all know what that is.”

Leftist activist and TV personality <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/rosie-odonnell">Rosie O’Donnell</a> expressed her fury over <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/msnbc">MSNBC</a> hosts recently traveling to Florida to meet with President-elect <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">Donald Trump</a>.
The comedian <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@rosie/video/7438776026525732138?lang=en">vented</a> about the meeting on TikTok. “Turn off the TV, because it’s like, impending doom, impending doom,” O’Donnell says in the clip. “But without a warning, they’re just like, ‘Well, Trump nominated so and so.’ Not like, ‘Holy s***, people. You’re not gonna believe this. We gotta do something.’ That’s what the newscaster should be saying. But they’re not. Hopeless.”
She continued, “So Mika [Brzezinski] and Joe [Scarborough] went down to Mar-a-Lago to kiss the ring. So, last time I ever watch ‘Morning Joe,’ period. End of statement. Unreal, unreal. For months you were telling us he’s the worst thing that could happen to this country and democracy. And then you go kiss his ring. Despicable. Despicable you; both of you.”
O’Donnell was referencing the meeting Brzezinski and Scarborough had with Trump on Friday, which has generated a lot of criticism from Democrats. That meeting was the first time they had spoken face to face with Trump in seven years, The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/morning-joe-hosts-blistered-over-attempt-to-restart-communications-with-trump">reported</a>, and it was done in an effort “to restart communications.”
&#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; co-hosts Scarborough and Brzezinski, who are married, said they talked to Trump about several controversial issues, from immigration to abortion, and did not agree on much but stressed that having open communication was the main goal.
&#8220;For those asking why we would go speak to the president-elect during such fraught times, especially between us, I guess I would ask back – why wouldn’t we?&#8221; Brzezinski said. &#8220;Five years of political warfare has deeply divided Washington and the country. We have been as clear as we know how in expressing our deep concerns about President Trump’s actions and words in the coarsening of public debate.&#8221;

Other MSNBC hosts were also outraged that the meeting happened, with contributor Jennifer Rubin calling it &#8220;disgusting&#8221; on Bluesky, the social media platform started by Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey that’s become popular with leftists.
Host Katie Phang <a href="https://x.com/KatiePhang/status/1858520409710182606">posted</a> on X, &#8220;Normalizing Trump is a bad idea. Period.&#8221;
Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central&#8217;s &#8216;The Daily Show,&#8217; answered Brzezinski&#8217;s rhetorical question about why wouldn’t they meet with Trump. “Uh…Because you said he was Hitler.”
Even conservatives are questioning the motives of the meeting. Nikki Haley, who lost the GOP presidential nomination to Trump, weighed in, <a href="https://x.com/NikkiHaley/status/1858573360256393618">posting</a> on X Monday, “Let’s be clear, Joe and Mika didn’t suddenly see the light, they saw their ratings. They realized they needed Trump for their survival.”

She was responding to reports from last week regarding Belle being arrested in Wisconsin on drug and child neglect charges.
According to court records, the 27-year-old was arrested and booked into the Marinette County Jail on September 17 on felony charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, and methamphetamine possession along with several misdemeanor drug charges, including disorderly conduct and possession of THC, drug paraphernalia, and illegally obtained prescription drugs. 
She was released later that month after posting a $2000 bond but was later booked into Oconto County Jail on October 11, per <a href="https://ew.com/rosie-o-donnell-reacts-after-daughter-arrested-child-neglect-drug-possession-charges-8731137">Entertainment Weekly</a>. She is still in custody there for felony charges, including possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs and bail jumping, in addition to misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.

O&#8217;Donnell adopted Belle with her ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter, when she was a baby. In 2015, Belle ran away from home at the age of 17 and was found a week later living with a boyfriend. She moved to Wisconsin that same year to live with her birth mother. 
Belle and O’Donnell were estranged until 2018 but rekindled their relationship at that time due to Belle being pregnant. O’Donnell discussed their relationship during an appearance on “The Talk” that year.
&#8220;​​She&#8217;s doing better now and we&#8217;re both communicating with each other,&#8221; the actress said. &#8220;When somebody does something unforgivable to you and you can forgive them and they can forgive you, there&#8217;s a kind of grace that descends upon the both of you within that.&#8221;
O&#8217;Donnell has four other children: Parker, 29; Blake, 24; Vivienne, 21; and Dakota, 11.

&#8220;The whole thing is very, very unnerving. It&#8217;s very unnerving,&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell began, noting that her therapist had attempted to calm her by pointing out that 100 days is a long time, and that many things could change.
&#8220;My therapist actually told me it&#8217;s a long time between now and November — no it isn&#8217;t, we&#8217;re about to start school again,&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell said. She went on to say that once school started, Halloween was right around the corner and then Thanksgiving break. &#8220;So by Thanksgiving break, we&#8217;re gonna know if we still have democracy in the United States.&#8221;
Critics were not impressed with O&#8217;Donnell&#8217;s take, and said so via X.

Singer Madonna released her first statement on Monday following her hospitalization last month after reportedly being revived with Narcan.
Madonna <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CuheQvlOgmo/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading">thanked</a> fans on Instagram for their &#8220;positive energy, [p]rayers and words of healing and encouragement,&#8221; saying that she felt their &#8220;love.&#8221;
&#8220;My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children,&#8221; she said. &#8220;My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn&#8217;t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.&#8221;
She said that her focus was now on getting better so she could get back out on tour.
&#8220;The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I couldn&#8217;t be more grateful for your care and support.&#8221;
The “Material Girl” singer was found unresponsive late last month and was rushed to the hospital, suffering from what her longtime manager Guy O’Seary described as a “serious bacterial infection.”
However, a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/madonna-was-revived-with-narcan-before-being-rushed-to-hospital-report">report</a> from RadarOnline said that the infection may have been more serious than even he let on.
Sources reportedly told RadarOnline that the performer had to be revived with a Narcan injection when she was first discovered. While Narcan is most commonly used to treat narcotics overdoses, in Madonna’s case, it was believed to have been used for an entirely different reason: to reverse septic shock as a result of severe infection.
The sources did not indicate that the singer showed any signs of drug abuse or overdose, and her representatives have thus far declined to comment.
She has been released from the hospital, however, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rosie-odonnell-says-madonna-is-good-and-recovering-at-home-after-icu-stay">according</a> to longtime friend Rosie O’Donnell — and while she is still suffering the effects of the infection, she is on the road to recovery.
“She is recovering at home — she is very strong in general,” O’Donnell said of her “A League of Their Own” co-star.

Madonna was admitted to the ICU in June after developing a &#8220;serious bacterial infection,&#8221; according to her team.
&#8220;On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead (sic) to a several day stay in the ICU,&#8221; Madonna’s talent manager Guy Oseary <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CuC6w1TPH_l/">shared</a> Wednesday on Instagram. &#8220;Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.&#8221;

The unexpected illness forced the “Material Girl” singer to postpone her upcoming Celebration tour, which was scheduled to kick off in Vancouver on July 15. Madonna previously canceled several shows while on tour in 2019 due to a knee injury. She wound up wrapping up the tour early.
Earlier this year, she discussed the Celebration tour with Page Six. Madonna was reportedly rehearsing up to 12 hours a day in preparation.

Rosie O&#8217;Donnell said she told her daughter that you can be a girl and still &#8220;like all the boy stuff&#8221; during a chat about gender identity, adding that she was a &#8220;tomboy&#8221; who &#8220;loved being a girl.&#8221;
The comedian shared the story with actress Mayim Bialik on the May 9 <a href="https://www.bialikbreakdown.com/watch-podcast/rosie-odonnell" target="_blank" rel="noopener">episode</a> of the &#8220;Bialik Breakdown,&#8221; Bialik&#8217;s podcast about mental health.
O&#8217;Donnell said she was responding to her daughter telling her mother that her stuffed animals are &#8220;non-binary,&#8221; meaning they identify as neither a girl nor a boy.
&#8220;I&#8217;m like, here we go. Here we go!&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell said.

&#8220;I said, well that&#8217;s fantastic,&#8221; she said she told her daughter. &#8220;You know what&#8217;s funny is that I&#8217;m a girl who people used to call a tomboy because I liked all the boy stuff when I was little. And you know what&#8217;s weird? I still do really like the boy stuff. I like football, I like riding a motorcycle. I like to do a lot of stuff that boys traditionally like to do.&#8221;
O&#8217;Donnell added that she &#8220;never was confused&#8221; about whether she was a boy or a girl.
O&#8217;Donnell said she also told her daughter, &#8220;But you know what else? Never was confused about thinking if I was a boy or a girl. Always knew I was a girl and loved being a girl. So you can be a girl and feel any way you want or you can figure out what it is.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m like rambling and rambling and she said, &#8216;Are you done?'&#8221; O&#8217;Donnell said.
O&#8217;Donnell is a lesbian who has been married twice to two women.
She is a foster and adoptive mother who has <a href="https://people.com/parents/all-about-rosie-odonnell-children/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">welcomed</a> five adopted children since 1995. Her youngest daughter is nine. She is also a grandmother.
The comedian is also a liberal Democrat who has donated thousands of dollars to Democratic candidates. Some of her donations in 2018 even <a href="https://nypost.com/2018/05/05/rosie-odonnells-campaign-donations-to-dems-went-over-legal-limit/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">went over</a> the legal limit.
O&#8217;Donnell has had a massively successful career in comedy and television that includes a famous years-long <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/29/us/donald-trump-keeps-insulting-rosie-odonnell-heres-how-their-feud-started.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">feud</a> with Donald Trump.

Those girls are pushed towards puberty blockers at 10 or 11, then cross-sex hormones when they are teens, and finally genital and chest surgeries, critics say.
Parents of trans-identifying children often cite their children&#8217;s preference for the activities of the opposite gender as a reason they knew their child was transgender.

That mother said she is discussing puberty blockers for her now 10-year-old daughter.

Meanwhile, it is more popular than ever for youth to adopt new gender identities. An estimated 300,000 minors aged 13 to 17 <a href="https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/press/transgender-estimate-press-release/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">identified</a> as transgender as of last year.
