The Denmark-based toy company LEGO has come under fire for promoting Pride parades and other LGBT themes despite having a young customer base.
It’s true that plenty of adults enjoy building LEGO sets, and some of the company’s offerings are explicitly made for ages 18+. But that doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority of LEGO sets are marketed to children. Those kids are also following the brand on social media.
“Pride moments built, brick by brick,” the Pride-themed Instagram caption says. “Swipe to see more of our LEGO colleagues&#8217; stories.”
The attached slideshow includes video clips of LEGO minifig characters discussing their “coming out” stories, including one attending a Pride parade and another male character proposing to his boyfriend.

Many parents were furious and called for a boycott. 
“LEGO is now openly pushing Pride parades, gay marriage, and rainbow ideology straight at children,” one X commenter <a href="https://x.com/UnluckyIrishman/status/2072706657055089009">wrote</a>. “This isn’t ‘inclusion.’ It’s sexualizing childhood and grooming the next generation with adult themes.”
“Parents are waking up. Boycott time. Companies that target kids with this stuff deserve to lose customers… keep this garbage away from our children,” the post continued. 
“So it is the 250th year of [the] United States and THIS is what a beloved American toy, a favorite pastime for millions and millions of kids produced! THIS is what you push to kids and young people,” another person <a href="https://x.com/Littleeagle09/status/2072661078576648251">agreed</a>.
This isn’t the first time LEGO has promoted Pride. In 2021, the company released a set called “Everyone Is Awesome” that showcased 11 figurines with different hairstyles and faceless heads, each in a color of the Progress Pride flag. The set included a purple-colored drag queen.
LEGO labeled the product as being intended for an 18+ audience, though set designer Matthew Ashton said in a statement that it was designed with children in mind. Ashton recalled his experience coming out as a gay man in his teens and said that if he had received this set from a loved one, he would have felt more supported.
“Children are our role models and they welcome everyone, no matter their background. Something we should all be aspiring to,” Ashton said. “If I had been given this set by somebody at that point in my life, it would have been such a relief to know that somebody had my back. To know that I had somebody there to say ‘I love you, I believe in you. I’ll always be here for you.’ So, in a way, this set is not just for the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s for all of the allies — parents, siblings, friends, schoolmates, colleagues, etc. — out there as well.”
This year, on June 1, the company again promoted an “<a href="https://ideas.lego.com/activities/710a1994-c0cf-4ec3-b28d-5ce9dd161b65" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Everyone is Awesome</a>” activity on its official website. “It&#8217;s time to paint the town red, orange, yellow, green… basically a whole rainbow of color! That’s right, it’s Pride Month, and we’re celebrating the best way we know how: with LEGO® bricks!” the description says. 
“This year, we want you to celebrate what makes you — and everyone you love — quite frankly, AWESOME. Embrace the power of those words and what they mean to you.”
“Remember, the more color, the better! After all, what would a Pride-themed build be without bright, beaming splashes of color? We want to see Technicolor creations that celebrates everything Pride Month stands for. So, gather your bricks and unleash your creativity!”

When most people think of Girl Scouts, they picture campouts and merit badges, or girl power and lifelong friendships. They always think of the slightly overpriced yet maddeningly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cold-sidewalks-vs-tiktok-fame-what-the-cookie-craze-isnt-teaching">delicious cookies</a>. 
But what they may not immediately realize is that, like most American institutions, the Girl Scouts were infected by the radical Left&#8217;s agenda decades ago. That rot has spread through the entire organization top to bottom, making it impossible to escape.
It’s frustrating to any conservative who has fond memories of joining Girl Scouts as a child and wants to share that same experience with her children and grandchildren. But the true nature of Girl Scouts becomes shockingly apparent during the month of June, which is when the scouts take an opportunity to spread lessons on LGBT pride and DEI principles.
This Pride month, it&#8217;s worth asking if you actually know what your daughter&#8217;s Girl Scout troop is doing.
Patti Garibay knows the truth about the organization better than most following years of volunteering and leading young girls. Garibay, a mom of three daughters, didn&#8217;t set out to start a competing scouting organization. She was happy to be a Girl Scout leader, where she led three troops, served as an area delegate, and helped organize new troops across northern Cincinnati. She bled green, as she puts it.
&#8220;I absolutely loved it,&#8221; she told The Daily Wire during a recent interview. &#8220;I loved the female empowerment, the leadership, the life skills, all the things that were so beautiful about Girl Scouts, patriotism, things like this.&#8221;
But that all changed in 1993 when she discovered that the organization was <a href="https://www.tampabay.com/archive/1993/10/25/girl-scouts-take-god-out-of-pledge/">removing its reference to God</a> in the Girl Scout promise. As a Christian, Garibay was upset by this, but as a volunteer, she was also alarmed. Where had the decision come from, she wondered, and why was no one informed?
&#8220;I was an area delegate,&#8221; she said. &#8220;That&#8217;s supposed to be a person that was chosen by their peers to represent and to really know what was going on in the Girl Scouts regarding governance. But yet I knew nothing about it.&#8221;
Garibay attempted to make changes by telling the public the truth about what was happening in the organization. But by 1995, she&#8217;d given up and launched <a href="http://americanheritagegirls.org">American Heritage Girls</a>.
Today, Girl Scouts USA publishes an official <a href="https://www.girlscouts.org/content/dam/gsusa/forms-and-documents/activity-zone/all-ages-levels/multicultural/LGBTQIActivities.pdf">LGBTQ+ Pride Month</a> fun patch program — available for Daisy scouts (kindergartners and first graders) on up. Fun patches are optional and are at the discretion of troop leaders to present.
Girls can earn a rainbow patch by completing activities including making rainbow flags &#8220;to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride Month,&#8221; watching documentaries on LGBTQ history &#8220;such as the Stonewall Uprising,&#8221; memorizing poetry by LGBTQ poets, reading children&#8217;s books such as “I Am Jazz” and “Love Makes a Family,” visiting the National Women&#8217;s History Museum website to study LGBTQ historical figures, and participating in the Gay, Lesbian &amp; Straight Education Network (Glisten)&#8217;s No Name-Calling Week. The patch guide calls it an effort &#8220;to disrupt anti-LGBTQ+ harassment and bias-based bullying.&#8221;
Another suggestion is for the girls to don their uniforms and &#8220;attend an LGBTQ+ Pride celebration in June with your family or troop.&#8221;
&#8220;As a Girl Scout, even when I was a leader, I was not allowed to march in uniform for a pro-life parade,&#8221; Garibay told me. &#8220;But now they&#8217;re saying march in uniforms for your LGBTQ+ Pride Month parade.&#8221;
The patch program is national and comes straight from Girl Scouts USA. But individual councils have developed their own supplemental materials that go even further.
The Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, for example, maintains an official <a href="https://vc.gsnwgl.org/troop-management/working-with-girls/inclusion/lgbtqia/">LGBTQIA+ training page</a> for troop leaders that informs volunteers, &#8220;Asking for and using correct pronouns is a way to treat everyone with respect.&#8221; 
The page also answers the question of who can participate in troops, camp, and other activities. Normal boys cannot. But the list of who is welcome includes &#8220;gender identity girl &amp; sex assigned at birth male,&#8221; which means a male who identifies as a girl is welcome to participate in Girl Scout activities, including overnight camp.
On overnight arrangements, the council guidance is explicit: &#8220;Girl Scouts who are LGBTQ+ can share a room and all facilities with other Girl Scouts. Unless a Girl Scout states otherwise, no separate sleeping arrangements are necessary. There is no need to &#8216;out&#8217; or discuss a Girl Scout&#8217;s gender identity with other youth or adults.&#8221;
As the rest of the world wakes up to the dangers of allowing men into women’s spaces, it appears Girl Scouts is still clinging firmly to the radical stances of years past. A biological male who identifies as female can share a cabin, changing area, and showers with your daughter. 
It’s worth reiterating that this isn’t one woke council on the West Coast. The rules come directly from the national organization in charge of the entire operation. 
The same national organization that once asked girls to promise their duty to God and country now publishes guides instructing troop leaders to familiarize themselves with Glisten terminology and celebrate International Transgender Day of Visibility (March 31) and National Coming Out Day (October 11) alongside Pride Month.
The council recommends volunteers complete the Safe Zone Project, a DEI-laden, heavily pro-LGBT curriculum that includes materials called &#8220;The Genderbread Person&#8221; and &#8220;Privilege for Sale.&#8221;
And while the organization still technically permits the word &#8220;God&#8221; in the Girl Scout Promise, a substitute &#8220;in accordance with a person&#8217;s own spiritual beliefs&#8221; is explicitly allowed. As Garibay observed: &#8220;If you kick God out, you&#8217;re also going to kick out His laws and His truths and His worldview. And sure enough, that&#8217;s exactly what had happened.&#8221;
Just like in Boy Scouts, which recently <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/boy-scouts-now-officially-scouting-america-champion-dei-principles">rebranded to Scouting America</a>, membership has been on the decline for decades. According to <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/boy-scouts-girl-scouts-membership-drop/">CBS News</a>, Girl Scout membership stood at around 2.8 million in 2003. By 2021, it had fallen to just over a million, which is a 60% drop. Some of those numbers increased following the pandemic, but it’s nowhere near what it used to be. 
Many parents who want their girls to experience what Girl Scouts used to be — a place to develop faith, character, life skills, and true female empowerment — are joining American Heritage Girls instead. 
The organization, which operates in all 50 states and has attracted over 1 million girls since its inception, is going strong. American Heritage Girls recently launched the <a href="https://info.americanheritagegirls.org/raising-godly-girls-guide-to-gender-identity">free e-book</a> &#8220;Raising Godly Girls&#8221; and produces a three-times-weekly podcast and free downloadable guides on gender, identity, resilience, mental health, and, this summer, body image in direct opposition to the woke LGBT garbage the Girl Scouts are promoting.
&#8220;American Heritage Girls tells girls the truth, and girls are hungry for it,&#8221; Garibay said. &#8220;She tells girls that they&#8217;re created female on purpose, that their femininity is a gift we&#8217;re celebrating, and that God doesn&#8217;t make mistakes. We&#8217;re not pretending biology is a social construct or that we&#8217;re assigned something at birth by a doctor in a medical coat. We give girls a biblical framework for their identity before someone else hands them a very different one at camp or in a classroom or at a troop meeting.&#8221;
It’s working, the founder says. &#8220;If parents don&#8217;t arm their kiddos with a solid framework, somebody else will fill that vacuum. I think we&#8217;ve seen that in so many youth organizations today.&#8221;
The Girl Scout cookies are great, but it’s impossible to ignore that they come with a heaping side of unwanted indoctrination. Conservatives should stay vigilant and not make the mistake of assuming the best parts of our childhood have remained unchanged, no matter how nostalgic it makes us.

The team also bragged that a drag queen performer dubbed &#8220;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/heidincloset/">Heidi N Closet</a>&#8221; will be at the game, featured as a &#8220;guest splasher.&#8221;
At Orioles home games, there&#8217;s a section called the Bird Bath Splash Zone where a character named &#8220;Mr. Splash&#8221; sprays fans with a hose when the Orioles nab extra-base hits. This is typically promoted as a family-friendly event. As the guest splasher, the drag queen will apparently be spraying fans.

Two weeks ago, the San Francisco Giants held a &#8220;Pride Night&#8221; where players were pressured to wear LGBT rainbow-colored Giants caps. When some of the Christian players counter-signaled the event by adding Bible verses to their hats, the MLB gave them a &#8220;warning,&#8221; sparking outrage from some MLB fans and public officials.
Still, the MLB is moving forward with &#8220;Pride Night&#8221; events. Aside from the scheduled Baltimore &#8220;Pride Night,&#8221; the New York Mets will hold a &#8220;Pride Night&#8221; of their own on Friday, too. Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Athletics, and the St. Louis Cardinals similarly held these LGBT-themed games.
The Giants &#8220;Pride Night&#8221; notably featured a drag queen and 10 same-sex couples renewing their vows on the field.

Critics have been saying almost since the beginning that the transgender movement is erasing women — but The New York Times celebrated Father&#8217;s Day by proving they&#8217;re erasing men too.
The <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2026/06/21/opinion/trans-dad-parenting-fathers-day.html?smid=url-share">article</a> in question, a guest essay titled &#8220;To My Daughter, My Gender Was Never Complicated,&#8221; was published on Sunday morning — just in time for Father&#8217;s Day — and used a comic strip style to explore the trials and travails of a trans-identifying woman&#8217;s foray into &#8220;fatherhood.&#8221;
The frames reveal that the author, Zach Ellams, had been identifying as male for years, but had not officially announced to everyone that she was trans — but once she had a daughter, she had to learn to talk about things, in part because her daughter asked questions in public that made it necessary.
In one frame, while at a public pool, the daughter drew stares by asking, &#8220;How did you grow a mustache if you were a lady?&#8221;
In another, the daughter announced after school, &#8220;I told my friends at school that Mom made you a cake when you got your surgery.&#8221;
The moral of the story, as the article played out, was that the daughter was ultimately so accepting of her gender that she realized it was adults who made things complicated — and that helped her to &#8220;embrace&#8221; her male identity.
Critics were not impressed by the paper&#8217;s editorial choices for Father&#8217;s Day, however, and said so.
&#8220;This is what the @nytimes went with for Fathers Day. A cartoon &#8216;essay&#8217; by a trans &#8216;dad,'&#8221; XX/XY Athletics founder Jennifer Sey <a href="https://x.com/JenniferSey/status/2068719772670505013">commented</a>.

New York Times Celebrates Father’s Day By Erasing Men

A town in upstate New York voted to remove the LGBT &#8220;Pride&#8221; flag earlier this month, sparking outraged protests and an act of vandalism.
For the first time in the town&#8217;s history, Webster Town Supervisor Alex Scialdone on June 1 raised the gay flag at Town Hall and issued a &#8220;Pride Month&#8221; proclamation. After public comment from residents, Republicans elected to the town board voted to effectively remove the &#8220;Pride&#8221; flag by adopting a policy that limits flags on town property to the U.S. and New York state flags. By June 5, the &#8220;Pride&#8221; flag was removed.
At the removal, protesters gathered outside Town Hall, and some LGBT activists screamed and yelled about the flag removal, which was captured on video taken by town supervisor candidate Kevin Lockhart. One woman wearing a rainbow sweater claimed she &#8220;nearly died five times in the last month,&#8221; supposedly over LGBT opposition. Another said &#8220;children will kill themselves for this.&#8221;
&#8220;We see, we hear, we will not live in fear,&#8221; was also chanted by protesters.

Days later, the American flag at Town Hall was moved to the bottom of the flagpole, and an LGBT flag was flown far above it. According to U.S. Flag Code, no other flag should be flown above the American flag when displayed together.
&#8220;I remain steadfast in my advocacy for the LGBT community; however, I do not condone any flag being placed above the American flag,&#8221; Scialdone <a href="https://www.rochesterfirst.com/webster/unauthorized-pride-flag-spotted-above-us-flag-at-webster-town-hall/">said</a> in a statement. &#8220;When Town personnel became aware of the unauthorized lowering of the American flag on Town Hall property, immediate action was taken to raise it back into place.”
It&#8217;s unclear if anyone has been held accountable for the unauthorized tampering. The Webster Police Department confirmed to The Daily Wire that an investigation into the matter was opened, but was recently closed. No other details were provided.
Lockhart, who&#8217;s running as the first independent candidate for Webster town supervisor, said he wants peace for all town residents and &#8220;will not hesitate to stand for the principles&#8221; important to Webster residents.
&#8220;As the town of Webster’s first independent candidate for town supervisor, I have spent countless hours listening to residents and hearing their concerns about preserving our town’s history, culture, and values,&#8221; he told The Daily Wire via email.
&#8220;As a Christian, I believe pride is a sin and that every person, myself included, is called to humility, repentance, and faith in Jesus Christ. While I would rather avoid cultural and political conflicts over symbolic issues such as flag displays, I will not hesitate to stand for the principles I believe are important to our community,&#8221; Lockhart added. &#8220;Above all, my prayer is not for division but for reconciliation — that all people would come to know Jesus Christ, receive His gift of salvation, and experience the transforming power of His grace.&#8221;

Instead of taking on comments from concerned parents, the board’s president called a motion to adjourn and ended the meeting abruptly. Kimberly DeRosa, who attended the meeting, told The Daily Wire that it ended after “more than an hour of presentations celebrating &#8216;Black History Month&#8217; and the superintendent detailing the process of submitting objections to books in the school.”

Major League Baseball has officially warned San Francisco Giants players who counter-signaled or rejected the team&#8217;s LGBT &#8220;Pride Night.&#8221;
Starting pitcher <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/giants-pitcher-refuses-to-hide-christian-faith-during-pride-night">Landen Roupp</a> on Friday etched a Bible passage found in Genesis onto his Giants cap, right next to the LGBT-themed rainbow logo he was directed to wear. Other players, JT Brubaker and Ryan Walker, followed suit in standing up for their Christian faith, also adding Bible verses. And relief pitcher Sam Hentges refused to wear the rainbow cap altogether, stating, &#8220;I don&#8217;t morally support it.&#8221;
MLB’s chief communications officer Pat Courtney told The Athletic on Monday that these players have been &#8220;warned&#8221; about &#8220;future violations.&#8221; He said that writing on the team&#8217;s baseball caps &#8220;violates our rules.&#8221;
The Giants also addressed the Christian players. In a statement ironically about &#8220;inclusion,&#8221; the team apologized for its players apparently causing &#8220;pain and anger to many in the LGBTQ+ community.&#8221;
“The San Francisco Giants are proud to support Pride Night and the LGBTQ+ community,&#8221; the statement said. &#8220;Baseball should be a place where everyone feels welcome, respected, and valued.&#8221;
&#8220;We also respect that individuals may make personal choices about participating in team activations,&#8221; the team continued. &#8220;We understand that the choices by individual players have caused pain and anger to many in the LGBTQ+ community and we are sorry for that.&#8221;
&#8220;Those choices do not change our organization’s commitment to inclusion, belonging, and creating a welcoming environment for all,&#8221; the statement closed. &#8220;We remain grateful to our fans, partners, employees, players, and coaches who help make Pride Night a meaningful celebration.”

The UK-based cosmetics brand Lush Cosmetics is all in for trans rights. But some window art at a local store has drawn the ire of breast cancer survivors, who say glorifying voluntary “gender affirming” mastectomies is just wrong.
The photo was posted earlier this month on the Facebook page “<a href="https://www.facebook.com/chelmsfordforyou">Chelmsford for You</a>,” which is dedicated to the historic city about 30 miles north of London. It was one of several store murals meant to celebrate Pride month ahead of the Essex Pride celebration on June 20. Among the expected rainbows, however, the Lush mural stood out. 
It features a tiger with the signature trans flag inspired pink and baby blue stripes, plus pink mastectomy scars. It includes text that says, “Proud of my stripes.” The Facebook account noted that the design was created by queer artist <a href="https://www.instagram.com/your_pal_bucky/">Bucky Ringsell</a>.
The responses online were very negative.
“Ugh. This is DISGUSTING,” one reaction said. “Teenage girls love to shop in your stores and here you are happily encouraging them to CUT OFF THEIR HEALTHY BREASTS in the name of trans pride. This is beyond repulsive. It&#8217;s dangerous and sick. No parent should allow their child near your stores.”

Several breast cancer survivors also weighed in on the transgender propaganda masquerading as “art.”
“As a woman who had half a breast removed last year due to cancer, I am writing to raise my concerns about your ‘Proud of My Stripes’ window display,” London-based journalist Janet Murray <a href="https://x.com/jan_murray/status/2066140253430161807">wrote</a> in an open letter to Chelmsford city council.
“I am also, on behalf of other women who have experienced breast cancer, respectfully requesting its removal,” the post continued. “Because mastectomies are not a fashion statement, an identity marker or something to be celebrated. They are something women undergo because they are ill, because they are frightened, because they are trying to stay alive.”
Murray said she’s not anti-trans and that it’s a “personal choice,” but says she still takes offense to the window display.
“I think I speak for many women who have experienced breast cancer &#8211; and for their families &#8211; when I say this: Breast removal surgery is not something I regard as cute, playful or empowering,” she added. “Nor is it something I believe retailers should be celebrating.”
She concluded by demanding that the mural be removed, a sentiment echoed by several others.
“Ditto. This is an insult to millions of women who lost their breasts to cancer,” former professional tennis player Martina Navratilova <a href="https://x.com/martina/status/2066168892502761819?s=43">wrote</a> in response to Murray’s letter. 
Lush Cosmetics has a history of fervent LGBT activism. Last fall, the company partnered with the activist group TransActual to create a 24-page illustrated book titled “Dream vs. Reality: creating a world where trans people are safe.” The company also released a pink, blue, and white “Liberation bath bomb” to raise money for trans causes. 
A <a href="https://weare.lush.com/press-releases/lush-partners-with-trans-led-groups-to-stand-up-for-trans-rights/">statement</a> at the time said, “This campaign comes from the heart of the business. Requested by our staff and led by our incredible campaign partners, it comes at a time where positive trans representation is needed to counterpoint some of the toxic narratives that have been shaping public discourse. We hope that the vision presented in this campaign becomes reality and helps to shape a world we can all be proud of.”
Lush Cosmetics did not immediately respond to The Daily Wire’s request for comment on backlash over the image.

On Friday, the baseball team held &#8220;<a href="https://www.mlb.com/giants/tickets/specials/pride-celebration">Pride Night</a>,&#8221; dedicating the game to a “celebration of Pride and the LGBTQIA+ community” that included “pregame festivities, in-game celebrations, and appearances.” The event featured same-sex couples renewing their marriage vows on the field in the presence of a drag queen, and the team celebrated the LGBTQ community <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/outkick-sports/san-francisco-giants-pitcher-writes-bible-verse-hat-defiance-pride-night">through rainbow-colored hats</a>, according to FOX. 
A few players, however, took a stand — including Landen Roupp, who was raised in rural North Carolina and attended a <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/06/12/sports/giants-pitcher-landen-roupp-wears-pride-night-hat-with-bible-verse/">private Christian school</a>. Before heading to the mound, he inscribed the Bible passage from Genesis 9 on his cap.

An article from The Athletic <a href="https://x.com/nytimes/status/2066229208305594545?s=20">expressed outrage</a> over their decision, saying the Bible verses “missed the point”  during a night that was &#8220;supposed to be dedicated to support and belonging.&#8221; 
After the game, Roupp said his Biblical gesture reflected his moral convictions.

<a href="https://news.gallup.com/poll/710810/support-lgbtq-issues-remains-down-peak.aspx">A recent Gallup poll</a> showed that Roupp and Hentges are not alone, revealing declining support for LGBTQ+ issues across the board. 
The poll said same-sex marriage support dropped to 65%, which is down 6 points, and moral acceptance of gay/lesbian relations stood at 62% — the lowest since 2016. 
The decline in support was driven largely by Republicans, with only 35% approving of same-sex marriage, the lowest level since 2011. The percentage of Americans who view gender transitions as morally acceptable also fell to 38%.

Giants Pitcher Refuses To Hide Christian Faith During Pride Night

A 21st-century mom who wants to emulate the Proverbs 31 woman may not have a household of servants to help shoulder the countless tasks of daily life, but she does have modern conveniences that ladies of the Old Testament could never have conceived — dishwashers, robot vacuums, drive-thru pharmacies, and meal kit delivery services like HelloFresh.
As a busy mom who wants to make sure my kids are eating healthy meals at home but also wants time to write articles like this one, my family has subscribed to HelloFresh as our food delivery service on and off for nearly 10 years. We have especially come to rely on it to get dinner on the table as I’ve been undergoing cancer treatments for the last year and a half.
But at the start of Pride month, HelloFresh added an unpleasant assignment to my already overloaded schedule — find a new meal delivery service that doesn’t come with a side of anal penetration jokes.
On June 5, in honor of homosexuality, transgenderism, and the rest of the sexual predilections represented in the rainbow flag, the company<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DZNQJRmRkz3/"> posted</a> on Instagram, &#8220;We know eating isn’t always a top priority this month. We respect that. But for those of you who are &#8230; prepping &#8230; we have an extensive lineup of high-fiber recipes available. Happy Pride.&#8221;
For those not initiated into the sexual practices of gay men, let me help decipher what “prepping” means. HelloFresh is saying that their product is useful for clearing out the rectum of feces in preparation for sodomy. Yes, that’s what it means.
To a certain extent, conservatives, Christians, and others who adhere to a natural-law understanding of sex (that male and female bodies are biologically complementary and ordered toward procreation, while sex between biologically incompatible bodies is fundamentally disordered) can be grateful to HelloFresh for saying out loud what so much “love is love” Pride propaganda tries to obscure — the actual nature of the act being celebrated.
HelloFresh’s post tears away the gauzy veil the LGBTQ movement has long draped over itself with G-rated images of wholesome-looking men in respectable sweater vests holding hands on the beach. It reminds us that the sexual relationships being applauded bear no resemblance to the union of a husband and wife.
If there was any doubt about the joke&#8217;s intended meaning, HelloFresh&#8217;s social media team quickly removed it, leaning in and doubling down in further responses.
Grindr, the dating app that gay men famously use to source immediate and often anonymous sex, predictably cheered the post, prompting HelloFresh to reply “we’re feeling a little XTRA this month,” with a hand-over-mouth emoji, a play on the term X-rated. When another respondent wanted in on the indecent joke, saying, “I wHOLE-heartedly thank you” (get it, HOLE?), HelloFresh quipped, “thank you from the BOTTOM of our hearts.” Lest this subtlety be lost on anyone, they then announced that they are offering a special Pride discount code throughout June — “BOTTOMSUP.”
It’s worth pausing to remember what product HelloFresh is selling here. Food. It’s hard to imagine the marketing meeting that concluded the best way to entice customers to buy their food was to tie it to mental images of toilets, human waste, and anal sex. Industry veterans like Duncan Owen, an alum of Havas Media Group and current insight head at Craft Media London, <a href="https://www.prweek.com/article/1960868/hellofreshs-pride-post-love-it-safer-approach">expressed revulsion</a>, pointedly asking, “Good Lord, HelloFresh, what were you thinking? This is disgusting.”
The post was so offensive, even some gay influencers <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZV7vcTJLOH/">objected</a>, with Blaine LaBron, known as the “Common Sense Gay,” calling it “demeaning,” “grotesque,” and “disgusting.&#8221;
Since the post, many customers have shared their intentions to cancel their subscriptions and look elsewhere for their meal delivery needs, and it raises the question of whether HelloFresh is about to join Target, Bud Light, and other brands who suffered significant revenue loss as a result of the LGBTQ virtue-signaling. Especially given that public mood on the issue seems to have shifted dramatically in recent years.
Along with the anecdotal data of Target and other retailers significantly scaling back their Pride promotion in the last couple of years (Target no longer carries Pride merchandise for children, for instance), polling appears to show Americans tiring of the lobbying.
A recent<a href="https://news.gallup.com/poll/117328/marriage.aspx?utm_source=chatgpt.com"> Gallup poll</a> found that Republican support for gay marriage is down 18 points since 2022, going from 55% approval to only 37%, a remarkably short span of time for so precipitous a drop. Independents, too, are souring on same-sex unions, with their support plummeting six points. Overall, the number of Americans who favor gay marriage is now at 65%, the lowest point since 2019.
There’s plenty of debate to be had over why Pride is losing its appeal with the American public. Some have argued that the movement overplayed its hand when it began targeting children. Maybe the moms who make purchasing decisions no longer found slogans like “love wins” and “born this way” so inspiring once they realized it might result in their daughters asking to cut off their breasts to become sons.
Others point to <a href="https://www.barna.com/research/young-adults-lead-resurgence-in-church-attendance/">signs</a> of resurgence in Christian faith across the U.S. and Great Britain. And it certainly is interesting that HelloFresh’s marketing approach specifically frames Pride month as a sexual rite, and not, as those milquetoast Target and Cracker Barrel campaigns would have it, just a month to make two long-committed granddads with their gingham-lined picnic basket feel special.
In this, the Instagram post was an acknowledgment of what Christians have always known — the evangelistic fervor of the modern LGBTQ movement is so totalizing because it is simply a new iteration of the same old paganism with which Christianity has always competed. And those old religions have always pitted their temple prostitution and ritualistic orgies against the demands of Christianity that man shall leave his father and mother and become one flesh with his wife. For a time, it seemed paganism would be perpetually ascendant until the final destruction of the United States. But then, there have been rumors about the death of the Christian church since those crucial first three days when it was established.
Certainly, red state governors have lately felt emboldened to begin countering Pride programming in a way they hadn’t in the past. Tennessee, Indiana, Alabama, Utah, and Arkansas have all officially declared that in their states, June will not be a celebration of deviant sexual behavior but of the nuclear family and marital faithfulness (homosexual unions are notoriously much more open to other sexual partners than heterosexual ones).
While it’s too soon to know for sure why Mr. and Mrs. America have soured on the rainbow displays, Proverbs also has a good word for our corporate titans — Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.
Former HelloFresh contractor<a href="https://x.com/Bearded_Bigot/status/2063749517040652453"> Joshua Garrison</a> said on X that he has delivered thousands of orders for the company and described a corporate culture more concerned with enforcing ideological conformity than with compensating the workers responsible for getting meals to customers&#8217; doors.
“The audits were run by an upper-management &#8216;boss babe&#8217; who walked the floor pushing crystal therapies and demanding pronoun discipline,” he wrote. “The employees mumbled the magic words and went home with pitiful paychecks…That was the culture two years before the ad. The ad is what happens when that culture stops hiding.”
In fact, the incident has drawn attention to previous occasions where HelloFresh signaled that they aren’t interested in Republicans as customers. In April, DoorDash driver and grandmother Sharon Simmons delivered McDonald&#8217;s to the White House to celebrate the &#8220;no tax on tips&#8221; legislation her company had supported. HelloFresh <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/hellofresh-response-trump-doordash-moment-11830443">clapped back</a>, “We considered dropping off a HelloFresh box at a very famous house (painted white)…but we didn’t want to overwhelm anyone with ‘step 1: preheat oven.’”
Many an arrogant executive has discovered that while they may be experts at profit-and-loss sheets, they are poor prophets of where public sentiment is headed. And mistaking elite fashions for permanent consensus could cost them dearly.
Customers have rediscovered that their purchases are a vote that they cast every time they open their wallets. And if they don’t find it especially appetizing to be pitched dinner ingredients via allusions to feces and sodomy, they can easily shop elsewhere.
In fact, new technological advances are a help here as well. I asked ChatGPT, “Please give me a list of meal delivery companies that have not participated in Pride month.”
It gave me a long list, complete with reviews on food quality, packaging convenience, and preparation difficulty. Within minutes, our family was all signed up to a new meal service without a moment’s inconvenience or so much as a week of missed meals.

The meal delivery service HelloFresh made headlines last week for a vulgar ad it shared on social media in honor of Pride Month. Not to be outdone, its competitor company Blue Apron followed with an equally suggestive Instagram post.
“Official Statement: We know that for some, eating is a top priority this month. We respect that. And while eating out can be exciting, there’s something to be said for diving head first into a satisfying box at home. Happy Pride to everyone who appreciates a good box,” the company <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DZYLUusgQ1V/">wrote</a>. The caption added, “Happy Pride. Comment BOX and we’ll DM you how you can eat ours.”
This was, of course, a thinly veiled reference to oral sex. It was likely an appeal to lesbians and a response to the HelloFresh post, which alluded to anal sex for gay men. 
Commenters on the Blue Apron post were either delighted or disgusted, with no in-between.
“Just cancelled my subscription,” one of the top comments says. 
“Why does everything have to do with sex,” a second commenter asked. 
“This is…. f***ing weird,” a third reaction said.
The Daily Wire reached out to Blue Apron, seeking comment.
The controversial social post came just days after meal kit delivery company HelloFresh shared an equally sexually charged social media post.
“We know that eating isn’t always a top priority this month,” the company wrote. “We respect that. But for those of you who are … prepping … we have an extensive lineup of high-fiber recipes available. Happy Pride.”
The post is a reference to anal sex and preparation for sexual activity. The company further amplified the “joke” by using a suggestive promotional code from a commenter. “Use code BOTTOMSUP for a Pride Month discount,” the company wrote, as The Daily Wire previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hellofresh-crosses-line-with-repulsive-pride-month-ad-its-sickening">reported</a>.
Major food companies have used sexual themes during Pride Month marketing in the past. In 2022, the Uber-owned food delivery service Postmates launched a “bottom-friendly” Pride campaign developed with an anal surgeon that promoted specific foods for those preparing to engage in anal sex. 
Despite the backlash, these companies continue to cater to a very small percentage of their customers and virtue signal their fealty to Pride, even as other <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/target-replaces-pride-collection-with-all-american-nuclear-family">major retailers like Target</a> move away from rainbow-drenched displays in June.

Knowles, during an appearance on &#8220;Piers Morgan Uncensored,&#8221; debated gay commentator James Barr over LGBTQ Pride Month — and the conversation came to a screeching halt when Morgan discovered that Barr didn&#8217;t even fully understand all the letters in the latest iteration of the acronym: LGBTQIA2SL+.

&#8220;No, it’s LGBTQIA2SL+,&#8221; the host pointed out.
&#8220;Right, sure,&#8221; Barr agreed.
&#8220;What does any of that mean?&#8221; Morgan asked.
&#8220;Are you now going to test me on what that is?&#8221; Barr asked.
&#8220;Because I have no idea,&#8221; Morgan admitted.
Knowles interjected then, explaining, &#8220;You know, 2[S] means two-spirit.&#8221;
&#8220;Two-spirit. What’s that?&#8221; Morgan asked.
Barr, clearly unsure of his answer, guessed, &#8220;I think that is a[n] American-Canadian …&#8221;
&#8220;You have no idea, do you?&#8221; Knowles interjected.
&#8220;Brilliant! You have no idea!&#8221; Morgan exclaimed. &#8220;We’re celebrating something. You have no idea what you’re celebrating!&#8221;
At that point, Knowles jumped in to explain further: &#8220;In the interest of Pride, I&#8217;ll tell you what it is: They say that Two Spirit was this ancient Native American sexual identity, but it&#8217;s not actually. It was invented in 1990 —&#8221;
&#8220;How does Michael Knowles know this and you don’t?!&#8221; Morgan asked, equally incredulous and amused by the direction the conversation had taken. He went on to take Barr apart over his blind support for a community described by an acronym that he clearly did not understand.
&#8220;We&#8217;re spending a month celebrating stuff that you can&#8217;t even explain what we&#8217;re celebrating!&#8221; Morgan concluded.

The post quickly gained traction online, collecting roughly 100,000 likes on Instagram. Supporters praised the company for the statement, and the gay hookup app Grindr was among the brands that responded approvingly in the comments.
But reactions elsewhere were far less favorable. The advertisement drew sharp criticism on X, where users questioned why a food company was making explicit sexual jokes as part of its Pride Month promotion.
&#8220;I&#8217;ve had a Hello Fresh discount offer sitting on my counter for two months because I intended to subscribe for postpartum,&#8221; one user wrote. &#8220;It would have been a big help in our house. Now I won&#8217;t. Utterly repulsed.&#8221;

Another commenter argued that the campaign crossed a line by unnecessarily sexualizing the company&#8217;s products. &#8220;It gets even grosser and pettier. There is zero reason to sexualize food. Never buying them again either,&#8221; the user <a href="https://x.com/AvionLukas/status/2063605252486508712">wrote</a>.
&#8220;Wow @HelloFresh could you be any more crude?&#8221; another critic posted. &#8220;Fiber? Prepping? Pride? It&#8217;s not even clever. It&#8217;s just repulsive and unnecessary.&#8221;

One user summarized the controversy more bluntly, writing that HelloFresh was posting about &#8220;how they can help you prepare for gay butt sex for pride month.&#8221;

This is not the first instance of HelloFresh&#8217;s social media team drawing attention for injecting politics into its marketing. In April, after President Donald Trump participated in a widely publicized <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/doordash-worker-delivers-trump-mcdonalds/">McDonald DoorDash</a> delivery to the White House, the company mocked the president on social media.

The campaign is not the first time a major food company has used sexual themes during Pride Month marketing. In 2022, the Uber-owned food delivery service Postmates launched a &#8220;bottom-friendly&#8221; Pride campaign developed with an anal surgeon that promoted specific foods for those preparing to engage in anal sex. Critics at the time argued that such campaigns reflected a growing trend of corporations moving beyond traditional rainbow-themed Pride marketing and increasingly incorporating explicit sexual references into advertising.
Several commenters said the ad had convinced them to cancel subscriptions or avoid the company altogether, arguing that HelloFresh had unnecessarily injected explicit sexual content into what is ostensibly a food delivery service. Despite the blowback, HelloFresh seems to be trying to turn back the clock to a much more explicit era of Pride.
At time of publishing, HelloFresh had not publicly responded to the backlash.
