On Independence Day, we celebrate.
On Memorial Day, we remember.
On Veterans Day, we honor. We honor all who, at one point in time, signed a blank check to the United States of America and said, “I’m in.”
But in for what? And for how long?
What I signed up for was to be part of the solution, to be a defender for my country. To be part of something bigger than myself and to sacrifice my “right now” for the future of my nation.
That oath wasn’t about a uniform. It was about a calling. Service doesn’t end when the deployment does; it simply takes new form.
When I first took my oath, I thought it was a promise limited by time, a contract that ended when my active duty did. But years later, I’ve realized that my oath was never meant to expire. It was a declaration of lifelong responsibility, a commitment to something far greater than myself: to stand ready, in whatever way the moment demands.

I may no longer be on active duty status, defending freedom on distant shores, but I’ve never been more active. Everything I do is a continuation of service — to this nation that I dearly love and to the people in it. The war today is against apathy, division, and moral decay. It’s the fight for our children’s minds in classrooms that have forgotten the truth. It’s the struggle for integrity in leadership, for unity in our communities, and for courage in a culture that rewards comfort. It’s a war for meaning in a generation that’s been told purpose is optional.
My battleground has shifted from standing on the frontlines of combat to standing in the frontlines of my home and community.
True service evolves. It becomes mentorship, leadership, and example-setting. It means preparing others to stand firm when life demands strength. It means showing young men and women that service isn’t just about defending borders; it’s about defending principles.
Many veterans understand this instinctively. We can’t turn it off, nor should we. The discipline, humility, and vigilance we learned in uniform are needed now more than ever right in our own city. Our duty didn’t end when we hung up our gear; it was simply reassigned.
But, we can’t expect our military or our first responders to shoulder all of the responsibility for keeping our nation safe and strong. If the last few years have shown us anything, it’s that danger doesn’t always knock first, it shows up unexpectedly in our schools, our churches, and our neighborhoods. We can’t outsource courage, so we must all be ready to fight and defend.
That relentless commitment to excellence and readiness is what our nation needs. It’s what we can all learn from the men and women who’ve worn the uniform and adopted a service mindset that transcends battlefields.

So how do we honor veterans this Veterans Day? By doing more than saying, &#8220;thank you.&#8221; By showing our unyielding appreciation for those who fought for this country, but also by recognizing those wearing a new uniform and continuing the fight here at home. The ones leading in their churches, mentoring the next generation, and protecting their communities.
To those who’ve never served, I hope you turn your gratitude into movement. Put on that metaphorical uniform and join the new mission alongside the Vets now serving at home.
To my fellow veterans, thank you for your courageous service. I invite you back into “active duty.” This nation needs your leadership, professionalism, and courage now more than ever. Find a way to better serve your family, your community, and your country once again.
More than a once-a-year &#8220;thank you,&#8221; we need active appreciation. We need proof that the generations to come will carry on our fight for freedom. That the men and women of this great nation will continually defend our land and sacred institutions through service that comes in all shapes and sizes. That is how we can truly honor our veterans.

In the past nine years, there have been three presidential elections, 6 congressional elections, and 35 different iPhone models.
Yet, in that same amount of time, one former Purdue University student has been stuck in limbo, unable to end a nightmare that began all those years ago.
<h3>The Allegations</h3>
During the fall semester of 2015, a male student whom The Daily Wire will refer to as John Doe began dating a female student referred to in court documents as Jane Doe. The relationship was okay for a while, but on December 13, 2015, Jane threatened to commit suicide in front of John by standing on the ledge of a parking garage after throwing objects around her dorm room and crying while saying she hated life. After this incident, according to John’s eventual lawsuit against Purdue reviewed by The Daily Wire, all sexual activity between the two ceased.
In early January 2016, John reported Jane’s suicide attempt to Purdue, and shortly after, she began to pull away from the relationship and the two went their separate ways. Four months later, and only after Purdue’s highly marketed Sexual Assault Awareness Month events, Jane accused John of sexually assaulting her during their relationship.
John received notice of the accusations on April 11, 2016. Jane claimed she awoke one night to John groping her. She told him it was not okay. John told her at some point before that incident that he digitally penetrated her while she was sleeping. He said he felt bad about the first incident but proceeded to the second incident anyway. Jane became upset at John over these incidents and left his room. John had also gone through her underwear in her laundry, and had once chased her down the hall, joking about tasing her. After they had broken up, he also continued to go to her room unannounced. She claimed John had a temper he couldn’t control as well.
John vehemently denies Jane’s allegations, stating in his lawsuit that he responded to the allegations by informing Purdue that he never groped her in her sleep in November 2015, but that in mid-December of that year, after her suicide attempt, she slept on a futon in his dorm room while he slept on the floor. At some point in the night, John accidentally touched her knee and she began freaking out before leaving the room. John also said he never had any sexual contact with her while she was asleep, and therefore never told her that he did. He added that he never went through her laundry but sometimes did her laundry for her and never threatened to tase Jane. He also noted that the two never formally broke up, they simply began seeing each other less, and that he merely went to her room to return an item. At that time, she told him not to go to her room, so he didn’t.
John provided evidence that Jane continued to shower him with affection even after these alleged incidents, demonstrating behavior not in line with someone who had been sexually assaulted. She continued to text with John over the holidays, wished him a Happy Christmas Eve, and sent him a package of homemade cookies for his family. She also invited him to her room at the beginning of the spring 2016 semester.

In addition, John provided Purdue with evidence that it was Jane who had the temper and tried to project that onto John. She often contemplated running away and not returning to the school as well. John also provided a list of more than 30 names to substantiate his reputation, since Jane attacked his character and credibility in her allegations.
Purdue’s policy did not allow John to review the investigator’s prepared report, nor was he provided a hearing to determine the credibility of Jane’s claims. John maintains in his lawsuit that his “ability to defend himself was severely and unfairly prejudiced.”
Instead of a hearing, a three-person panel reviewed John’s case. Jane never appeared before the panel and instead provided a statement written by Purdue’s Title IX coordinator. In that statement, Jane only requested that John be removed from Purdue’s Navy ROTC program, of which they were both members. Jane’s new boyfriend at the time was also a member. Jane stated that she didn’t fear John on campus and merely wanted him out of the ROTC.
Without any evidence corroborating Jane’s claims, John was suspended from Purdue and had to leave the Navy ROTC program. He appealed the decision, but was denied without adequate explanation, so he filed a lawsuit against the university as many students have done in the past decade.
<h3>The Lawsuit</h3>
John dreamed of becoming a Navy SEAL officer, but says he can’t get a federal job with this on his record. His Title IX case is the longest ongoing case of its kind, with the closest similar case lasting seven years and ending in a disappointing motion to dismiss for the wrongly accused student.
“Purdue&#8217;s wrongful suspension of me closed all federal &amp; military employment opportunities because I was employed with the Navy through their ROTC program at the time of the suspension, which forced me to ‘resign’ with the Navy after my school suspension was finalized,” John told The Daily Wire in an email.
“Expungement of my school disciplinary file would give me an opportunity to fix my [Department of Defense] record, which currently makes me look bad due to the circumstances and thus limits my employment opportunities. For reference, I was a 4.0 GPA varsity athlete when I graduated high school, and double majoring with a minor while employed with the Navy ROTC at Purdue. My longtime dream was to become a Navy SEAL officer. The derailment of my life by Purdue was severe, to say the least.”
The case has persisted due the slow nature of the justice system, numerous filings and responses from both parties, and appeals to higher courts. The case even landed on the desk of Judge Amy Coney Barrett before she was nominated for the Supreme Court. Barrett, who was with the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in 2019, upheld John’s claims that Purdue violated his due process and Title IX rights. Title IX prohibits discrimination based on sex, and accused students have said they are discriminated against as males when they are falsely accused and a school takes no steps to protect them.
When the case was sent back to a lower court, a judge dismissed John’s due process claim. John is trying to get the court to reinstate that claim and has had the judge who dismissed it replaced. The next stage of this case is a trial on the Title IX claim alone, which could result in what John ultimately wants: This whole thing to be expunged from his record.
After nine years of litigation, John’s family has spent more than $350,000 on legal bills, draining their savings and 401ks. He is currently working to set up a fundraiser to continue fighting Purdue’s persecution.

<h3>Purdue’s Response</h3>
In a statement to The Daily Wire, Purdue University chief spokesperson Erin Murphy said the school rejected John’s assertions of unfairness toward him.
“Most of [John’s] claims were dismissed long ago,” Murphy said, referring to the multiple claims students include in lawsuits hoping at least one will be accepted.
“His single remaining claim has been ready for trial for years. [John] insists on going to trial, but his lawyers have caused delays. Some of his lawyers quit his case in June 2023 after the last settlement conference,” Murphy continued. “[John] has publicly criticized those former lawyers. His remaining lawyer has filed repeated demands for a different judge, which were rejected by multiple courts, including the United States Supreme Court. His remaining lawyer has also required trial postponements for personal reasons that are shown in the court record.”
Those “delays” refer to John and his attorney attempting to get a new judge assigned to the case due to allegations of unfairness and a pro-Purdue bias. There is a new judge overseeing the case, as the previous judge was promoted by the Biden administration.
John’s attorneys did not quit on him, and the “public criticism” Murphy refers to is a testimonial on his attorney’s website saying that the attorney left his previous law firm “after partners at the firm tried to strong-arm” John’s case from him.
Finally, the “personal reasons” Murphy alludes to at the end of her statement refers to the attorney’s cancer diagnosis. John’s attorney has been battling cancer while fighting for his client.

&#8220;Rambo&#8221; actor Sylvester Stallone prepped his daughters for a move to New York City by having them train in self defense with U.S. Navy SEALs, the girls revealed in a recent <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/02/17/entertainment/sylvester-stallone-had-navy-seals-train-his-daughters/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interview</a> with The New York Post.
During the interview, published just a few days ahead of the February 21 release of season two of &#8220;The Family Stallone,&#8221; daughters Sistine (25) and Sophia (27) said that the six-hour training even included chasing chickens.
&#8220;It was the hardest. It was about six hours we were in those woods,&#8221; Sistine said. &#8220;Sophia and I got our asses whooped by these guys. They were the real deal &#8230; And I’m not surprised my dad put us through something like this because our entire life we grew up with him doing these sort of military-esque, self-defense trainings.&#8221;
The training was filmed for the Paramount+ reality series — and the only daughter who was exempt from it was 21-year-old Scarlet, who is a college student in Miami, FL: &#8220;I was so happy I was not involved.&#8221;
Sophia noted that their father had been training them himself from a young age, waking them up early and insisting on a regimen that included protein intake and weight-lifting.
&#8220;It was a rigorous routine. Every day at 6 a.m., he would make us eat eggs with ketchup. For some reason, that combination … to bulk up,&#8221; she said, adding, &#8220;But then it was a lot of sit ups, push ups, pull ups, clean and jerks.&#8221;
Sistine joked then that the &#8220;Rocky&#8221; star had been raising &#8220;perfect boys,&#8221; but said that even with a lifetime of training, chasing chickens turned out to be a lot tougher than expected.
&#8220;That is deceivingly hard. I went in there a little cocky, no pun intended. I got beat by the chicken,&#8221; Sistine laughed.
&#8220;I don’t think he’ll ever be less nervous,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;He’s like a classic, overprotective dad. Three daughters at an age where, you know, we’re kind of all over the place and we’re out and about.&#8221;

Jordan B. Peterson: Why do people come and see you [on your tour]? What is it that you&#8217;re providing to people do you think?
Jocko Willink: I think people want to come see me and want to connect with me in real life because they listen to my podcast a lot — so I think that has a lot to do with it. I&#8217;m just up there sort of sharing experiences that I&#8217;ve had, and I try and do the best I can in presenting the lessons that I&#8217;ve learned. Really, one of the biggest lessons that I was talking about on this tour was: It&#8217;s going to be ok.
Obviously, I deal with veterans a lot, law enforcement, and the whole PTSD that people have been going through and talking about for the last, I guess since the wars have been [going] on [for] the last 20 years. A lot of times someone would go through a traumatic experience and they&#8217;d have bad feelings about it. They’d have regrets about it. They&#8217;d have things that they wish they would have done differently. And one of the main themes I was telling people during this tour was, that&#8217;s totally normal and it&#8217;s ok. It&#8217;s ok to think, I lost some friends, and sometimes I feel sad about it.
Yes, of course, that&#8217;s normal. That&#8217;s fine. In fact, if you weren&#8217;t sad about it, there may be something wrong. Because I think that people have been told for a while that if you&#8217;re feeling sad there&#8217;s something wrong with you — when I actually don&#8217;t think there&#8217;s anything wrong with when you feel sad. You feel sad? Yes, you lost friends. You&#8217;re going to feel sad. You were in combat? You had to do some horrible things? You did some things that you regret? People make mistakes. Things don&#8217;t turn out the way that they wanted them to. We made decisions and there was a bad result at the end of that decision. And instead of thinking, I’m a terrible person, no, it&#8217;s like, you made a mistake and that&#8217;s ok and you have got to move on.

Jordan B. Peterson: That is the tricky part, I think, with regards to, say, post-traumatic stress disorder or regret, because it is one thing if you are sad because you have lost people; it is another thing if you are blaming yourself because you believe — and maybe with some cause — that you have made a mistake. Often, people do not know what to do about the fact that they have made a mistake.
Some people have made mistakes and are hanging themselves out to dry because of it, especially if they have made mistakes that have had fairly dramatic consequences. This ties in to the motif of forgiveness because there is not much difference between forgiving other people and forgiving yourself, and you cannot just do that by saying that you are going to do it. What I have observed clinically, and I think this works philosophically as well, is that what you want to do to set things right — which is to atone — is to lay out what you have done that you think was wrong. Provide yourself with the best possible defense.
There is a reason in our legal system that we start with the presumption of innocence, which is a miracle. Tyrannies start with the presumption of guilt. The reason they do that is because everyone&#8217;s done something wrong, and if you dig around enough in anyone&#8217;s life, you will find a reason that they are culpable, a reason to put them away. So the fact that we presume innocence is a complete bloody miracle, and I cannot figure out how we ever managed to get that right. But you have to do that with yourself. 
Imagine you are taking yourself to task because you did some things wrong. List them out in your imagination or write it down. But then you have to defend yourself as thoroughly as you possibly can, which does not mean you are trying to get yourself off the hook; it means that you are trying not to take yourself apart more than is necessary. Then someone might ask, “Well, if I have done something terrible, maybe what is necessary is that I commit suicide, that like I paid the ultimate price for my sins.” People will do that when they are depressed, and that is not right because what you actually want to do to atone is to set yourself back on the right track.
So the precondition for forgiving yourself is, first of all, to sort out whether or not you are accusing yourself too viciously like a tyrant. Then let&#8217;s assume that there is some leftover compelling evidence that you did do something wrong. Now you have to figure out what you did wrong and you have to figure out what you would have done differently and what you will do differently in the future.
My sense is, and I think this works out psychologically, if you can set yourself up so that you have learned from the mistake you made so you would not repeat it, then you get to go on with your life. … The devil in your mind that is still accusing might be saying, “What you did is so terrible that you should never be let off the hook,” but I would say if that is the criteria you use for judgment, then everyone&#8217;s doomed because everyone makes mistakes in their lives — and probably everybody makes the unforgivable mistakes. So if we are going to take ourselves apart about that permanently, then we are all ruined.
Jocko Willink: Yes, I was pretty lucky growing up in the military that I would get to see guys — and I was probably 26-years-old and I moved into an instructor role in the SEAL teams — so you&#8217;d see these young leaders and they&#8217;d go out on some training mission, and they were going to mess things up. They were going to make mistakes. And you always get this talk about, well, you made the best decision you could with the information that you had at the time. And it kind of sounds like a cop out in a way, but it&#8217;s actually not a cop out at all. You make the best decision that you can with the information that you have at the time.
What more can a human being do than make the best decision they can with the information that they had at the time? And when you get more information or when the results come as they may, that decision that you made might not have been a good decision. It might have been a bad decision. But number one, there&#8217;s nothing you can do to change it. It already happened; you made the decision. Then I would always look at the guys and say, what was their intent behind this decision that they made? Why did they do it?
Because if we can decipher that — and their intent was they wanted to make a good move to get their guys out of a bad situation — what more could I want from a leader than to make a decision that&#8217;s doing their best with the information that they had at the time to maneuver out of a bad scenario to take care of their guys? There&#8217;s nothing more I could hope for.
So as long as you peel back the onion and you kind of review what happened, you say, “Yes, I made the decision at this time. Of course, if I had this other information, I&#8217;d change it. But I did what I did. The result was not what I wanted. It&#8217;s not what I intended. Here we are.” And now you can either beat yourself up or you can say, here&#8217;s some lessons I&#8217;ve learned from it.

The United States Navy identified the two Navy SEALs who were killed in action during a mission earlier this month off the coast of Africa.
Spain and Japan assisted the U.S. in searching for Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher J. Chambers, 37, and Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram, 27, after they went missing on January 11.
The SEALs were climbing up onto a vessel while conducting a nighttime interdiction mission when one of them was knocked off by powerful ocean waves. Following protocol, the next Navy SEAL up jumped into the water to help rescue him.
The ship that the SEAL team interdicted was illegally transporting advanced Iranian conventional weapons to Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen.
“We extend our condolences to Chris and Gage&#8217;s family, friends, and teammates during this incredibly challenging time. They were exceptional warriors and cherished teammates and dear friends to many within the Naval Special Warfare community,” said Capt. Blake L. The U.S. Military announced on Sunday afternoon that two Navy SEALs that went missing nearly two weeks ago during a mission off the coast of Africa are now presumed dead.
The SEALs were conducting a nighttime interdiction mission on January 11 where they were climbing up onto a vessel when one got knocked off by powerful ocean waves. Following protocol, the next Navy SEAL up jumped into the water to help rescue him.
&#8220;We regret to announce that after a 10-day exhaustive search, our two missing U.S. Navy SEALs have not been located and their status has been changed to deceased,&#8221; U.S. Central Command said in a statement. &#8220;The search and rescue operation for the two Navy SEALs reported missing during the boarding of an illicit dhow carrying Iranian advanced conventional weapons Jan. 11 concluded and we are now conducting recovery operations.&#8221;
CENTCOM said that Japan and Spain joined the U.S. in searching for the two SEALs, covering more than 21,000 square miles. Additional support was provided by the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center, the U.S. Coast Guard Atlantic Area Command, University of San Diego – Scripts Institute of Oceanography, and the Office of Naval Research – Oceanographic Support.
General Michale Erik Kurilla, CENTCOM Commander, said in a statement, “We mourn the loss of our two Naval Special Warfare warriors, and we will forever honor their sacrifice and example. Our prayers are with the SEALs’ families, friends, the U.S. Navy, and the entire Special Operations community during this time.”

On Tuesday, U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) confirmed that U.S. Navy Forces seized a sailing ship on January 11 that was conducting illegal transport of advanced lethal aid from Iran to resupply the terrorist Houthi forces in Yemen.
“U.S. Navy SEALs operating from USS Lewis B Puller, supported by helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), executed a complex boarding of the dhow near the coast of Somalia in international waters of the Arabian Sea, seizing Iranian-made ballistic missile and cruise missiles components,” USCENTCOM  <a href="https://www.centcom.mil/MEDIA/PRESS-RELEASES/Press-Release-View/Article/3645241/uscentcom-seizes-iranian-advanced-conventional-weapons-bound-for-houthis/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. “Seized items include propulsion, guidance, and warheads for Houthi medium range ballistic missiles (MRBMs) and anti-ship cruise missiles (ASCMs), as well as air defense associated components. Initial analysis indicates these same weapons have been employed by the Houthis to threaten and attack innocent mariners on international merchant ships transiting in the Red Sea.”
“The direct or indirect supply, sale, or transfer of weapons to the Houthis in Yemen violates U.N. Security Resolution 2216 and international law,” USCENTCOM added, noting that “two U.S. Navy SEALs previously reported as lost at sea were directly involved in this operation.”
 “We are conducting an exhaustive search for our missing teammates,” General Michael Erik Kurilla, USCENTCOM Commander, stated.
The Navy sank the dhow.
“It is clear that Iran continues shipment of advanced lethal aid to the Houthis. This is yet another example of how Iran actively sows instability throughout the region in direct violation of U.N. Security Resolution 2216 and international law,” Kurilla declared. “We will continue to work with regional and international partners to expose and interdict these efforts, and ultimately to reestablish freedom of navigation.”

On Monday, the Islamic Republic of Iran launched ballistic missiles that landed near the U.S. Consulate in Erbil, Iraq.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a wing of Iran&#8217;s military and a designated terrorist organization, took responsibility for the attacks, saying that they were the &#8220;headquarters of spies&#8221; and &#8220;anti-Iranian terrorist gatherings in parts of the region&#8221;.
Several people were killed in the attacks, according to ABC News. No American casualties were reported. The attacks comes after Iran has activated its proxies throughout the region to launch more than 120 attacks against U.S. forces since October 17.

Two U.S. Navy SEALs went missing late this week during a mission in the waters off the coast of Somalia, U.S. officials said.
The SEALs were conducting a nighttime interdiction mission on Thursday where they were climbing up onto a vessel when one got knocked off by powerful ocean waves, the Associated Press <a href="https://apnews.com/article/navy-seals-missing-somalia-coast-boarding-mission-41a5cf55805f8aa0ff2c4d5626690529">reported</a>. Following protocol, the next Navy SEAL up jumped into the water to help rescue him.
A search and rescue operation is underway for both SEALs in the warm waters of the Gulf of Aden, the report said, noting that the U.S. Navy has increased activity in the area to stop weapons from being shipped to Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen.
U.S. Central Command would not confirm details about the two individuals who were missing, other than identifying them as &#8220;sailors&#8221; who were &#8220;were forward-deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet (C5F) area of operations supporting a wide variety of missions.&#8221;

The news comes as the Biden administration finally began taking military action against the Houthis late this week following dozens of terrorist attacks on international merchant vessels over the last couple of months in the Red Sea.
&#8220;Since Nov. 19, 2023, Iranian-backed Houthi militants have attempted to attack and harass vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden 28 times,&#8221; CENTCOM said. &#8220;These illegal incidents include attacks that have employed anti-ship ballistic missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and cruise missiles.&#8221;
&#8220;These strikes have no association with and are separate from Operation Prosperity Guardian, a defensive coalition of over 20 countries operating in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandeb Strait, and Gulf of Aden,&#8221; the statement added.

The U.S. Navy, facing an uphill battle to recruit new members, decided one good way to go about the task is to deploy a drag queen influencer.
The Navy named Yeoman 2nd Class Joshua Kelley the first of five &#8220;Digital Ambassadors&#8221; for a recruitment program that lasted from October through March. Kelley dresses in drag and goes by the stage name of Harpy Daniels.
“Thank you to the Navy for giving me this opportunity! I don’t speak for the Navy but simply sharing my experience in the Navy! Hooyah, and let’s go Slay!” Kelley said in a post on Instagram. Kelley has also chronicled his journey of being a &#8220;non-binary&#8221; drag queen with the Navy through <a href="https://www.instagram.com/harpy_daniels/">Instagram</a> and TikTok accounts.
Kelley is part of a program “designed to explore the digital environment to reach a wide range of potential candidates” as the Navy faces “the most challenging recruiting environment it has faced since the start of the all-volunteer force,” a Navy spokesperson <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/critics-explode-over-us-navys-use-drag-queen-solve-recruiting-crisis">told</a> Fox News. The initiative was an attempt to &#8220;explore the digital environment to reach a wide range of potential candidates,&#8221; and it had concluded in April, a U.S. Navy spokesperson told The Daily Caller.
But why? Why does the Navy need a drag queen to recruit young men into the military? And why does the Navy need to lean into the debate about drag shows and LGBTQ expression, especially after the disastrous partnership between Bud Light and transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney?
None other than Robert J. O’Neill, a former U.S. Navy SEAL who was part of the Team Six mission that took out Osama bin Laden, blasted the military branch&#8217;s new drag-queen recruitment campaign.
&#8220;I can’t believe I fought for this bulls***,&#8221; he said.
O&#8217;Neill, who said he fired the bullet that killed bin Laden during the May 2, 2011, raid in Abbottabad, Pakistan, went on a tear on Twitter on Wednesday, blasting out messages to his nearly 600,000 followers.
“Alright. The US Navy is now using an enlisted sailor Drag Queen as a recruiter. I’m done. China is going to destroy us. YOU GOT THIS NAVY. I can’t believe I fought for this bulls***,” O’Neill wrote.

A few hours later, he went further, <a href="https://twitter.com/mchooyah/status/1654025555228934145">writing</a>: &#8220;You’re doing it wrong, @USNavy &#8230; Talk to someone whose [sic] actually done something! Not yeomen with t*** and a [slang word for penis].&#8221;
A slew of critics also blasted the move. “This is beyond disturbing. I’m a former military officer and I just can’t believe what our brass is doing,” one former military officer said, Fox News reported.
“Not this Navy veteran. I’m ashamed of the Navy,” wrote another veteran. “It’s an insult to every veteran. The army kept making me go to trans EO-type classes before I retired. Nope. Didn’t go.”

And a few lawmakers were particularly peeved.
&#8220;Woke, partisan officials are projecting weakness abroad and divisiveness at home,&#8221; said Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), who serves as the chairman of the House Military Personnel Subcommittee. &#8220;The recruitment shortage is a serious crisis that we must address with serious solutions. TikTok videos of drag queens are just making a bad problem worse,&#8221; he told Fox News.
&#8220;Maybe the Navy should talk to Bud Light marketing and exchange notes about what NOT to do,&#8221; Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), a former Navy SEAL, wrote on social media.

An American <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/navy-seal" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Navy SEAL</a> who went AWOL nearly four years ago was killed earlier this week while fighting in <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/ukraine" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ukraine</a>.
A U.S. Navy official told <a href="https://time.com/6248929/navy-seal-killed-fighting-ukraine/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">TIME</a> that Daniel Swift, a Navy Special Warfare Operator First Class, died from injuries he sustained when a Ukrainian unit he was a part of came under attack from Russian forces.
“We can confirm the recent death of a U.S. citizen fighting in Ukraine,” a U.S. State Department statement said without confirming Swift’s identity. “We are in touch with his family and providing all possible consular assistance. Out of respect for the privacy of the family during this difficult time, we have nothing further to add.”
Swift, listed as an active deserter since March 11, 2019, formerly deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and received three medals for his service, according to TIME. The AWOL Navy SEAL was most recently <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/navy-seal-daniel-swift-killed-ukraine-official-says/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stationed</a> in Coronado, California.
Swift is among at least eight Americans who have been killed in Ukraine since Russia launched its invasion last February, CBS News <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/navy-seal-daniel-swift-killed-ukraine-official-says/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a>. Last summer, Americans Luke Lucyszyn and Bryan Young were killed while fighting the invading Russian forces in eastern Ukraine.
Last March, State Department spokesman Ned Price warned Americans about traveling to Ukraine or attempting to join the fight against Russia.
&#8220;U.S. citizens who travel to Ukraine — especially with the purpose of participating in fighting there — they face significant risks, including the very real risk of capture or death,&#8221; Price said. &#8220;The United States, as you know, is not able to provide assistance to evacuate U.S. citizens from Ukraine, including those Americans who may decide to travel to Ukraine to participate in the ongoing war.&#8221;
While President Joe Biden has made it clear that the United States will not send American troops into Ukraine, the administration <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/u-s-sending-zelensky-more-offensive-weapons-create-an-iron-fist-to-penetrate-russian-linear-defenses" target="_blank" rel="noopener">boosted</a> its support for the European country earlier this month by sending President Volodymyr Zelensky more offensive weapons.
The Biden administration announced that the U.S. is sending Ukraine 50 Bradley Fighting Vehicles along with long-range rocket systems. The administration’s announcement came less than one month after Zelensky visited the White House and begged Congress for more aid.

Retired Navy SEAL Chris Beck says CNN used him to promote transgenderism during a 2013 interview with host Anderson Cooper.
Beck, a decorated vet who served as a part of SEAL Team Six, told the world in 2013 on CNN airwaves that he identified as a woman named Kristin Beck.
&#8220;Everything you see on CNN with my face, do not even believe a word of it,&#8221; Beck <a href="https://rumble.com/v1y4nn2-1.-the-real-story-with-chris-beck.html">told</a> journalist Robby Starbuck during a two-hour sit-down interview.
&#8220;I take full responsibility,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;I went on CNN and everything else, and that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m here right now, I&#8217;m trying to correct that.&#8221;

The 56-year-old veteran conceded that his own mistakes and naïveté ultimately led to his personal struggle being used to help the so-called experts further a narrative.
&#8220;I think that, yeah, I was used … I was very naive, I was in a really bad way, and I got taken advantage of. I got propagandized. I got used badly by a lot of people who had knowledge way beyond me. They knew what they were doing. I didn&#8217;t.&#8221;
&#8220;But I take responsibility for that and that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m here now,&#8221; Beck added, explaining that he was speaking out in the hopes of preventing others from being used in the same way — and preventing the prevailing narrative from influencing more impressionable kids into irreversible actions. “I don&#8217;t want this to continue, and I don&#8217;t want these kids to get hurt.&#8221;
Beck revealed to Starbuck that after just one meeting at Veterans Affairs (VA) for no longer than an hour he was told he was transgender and offered hormones.
&#8220;I had so much going wrong in my system when I started taking those,&#8221; Beck explained, adding, &#8220;Some of that was paid for by the VA, and I&#8217;m sorry to the American people that I did that.&#8221;
Beck has been off these hormones for seven years now.
&#8220;They used me so well. I just wanna say I&#8217;m sorry. I didn&#8217;t know what I was doing, and the women out there and all these kids, I&#8217;m sorry,&#8221; a choked-up Beck later said in the interview. &#8220;If they could forgive me not knowing anything — and the experts that knew definitely used that.&#8221;
&#8220;I know God will forgive me,&#8221; Beck said, adding, &#8220;You don&#8217;t understand how bad this is. It&#8217;s the destruction of family, it&#8217;s killing these kids … I&#8217;m gonna live with this my whole life. I destroyed my life ten years ago.&#8221;
The veteran said he believes transgenderism is currently &#8220;feelings-based&#8221; and more about sexuality than it is gender. &#8220;Don&#8217;t tell me this is not about sex,&#8221; he told Starbuck.
The retired SEAL also took issue with leading figures in the transgender movement, like controversial sex researcher Alfred Kinsey.
Several of Kinsey’s published works have been the subject of controversy decades after their release, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/statue-honoring-controversial-sex-researcher-alfred-kinsey-draws-criticism">The Daily Wire</a> has previously reported. Two books on human sexual behavior, “Sexual Behavior in the Human Male” (1948) and “Sexual Behavior in the Human Female” (1953), contain data on pre-adolescent orgasms from children as young as two months old. Tables 30 through 34 of the male volume, in particular, have drawn concerns of child abuse. Table 34, titled “Examples of multiple orgasms in pre-adolescent males,” includes the notation, “Duration of stimulation before climax; observations timed with a second hand or stop watch. Ages range from five months of age to adolescence.”

During Spotify&#8217;s &#8220;The Joe Rogan Experience&#8221; <a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/5TZaO4N1t37pjwj1L7UcWx?si=-hwbsrZcTBmAa3eJnSkLIQ">podcast</a> on Thursday, the host asked his guests to respond to criticism over their training after video surfaced online showing &#8220;guys getting exposure to CS gas&#8221; outside who looked like they were passing out, couldn&#8217;t breath, and more.
&#8220;And the point of that training is it’s supposed to be difficult,&#8221; Stumpf explained. &#8220;It&#8217;s supposed to suck. It&#8217;s supposed to be difficult. You&#8217;re supposed to be exposed to that in a controlled training environment. … It sucks. But the first time you experience that shouldn&#8217;t be in a combat zone.&#8221;
&#8220;So, it&#8217;s a volunteer only program,&#8221; he added. &#8220;You can leave this particular training block if you want at any given time. And oh, by the way, every branch of the military exposes their people to this.&#8221;
Rogan noted that they &#8220;exposed people to it on&#8221; the TV reality game show he used to host, &#8220;Fear Factor.&#8221;
Stumpf said that when people ask him about the training and how people have died from it, he said he tells them, &#8220;It needs to continue to happen.&#8221;
&#8220;I don&#8217;t want it to happen,&#8221; Andy said. &#8220;I don&#8217;t want anybody to lose their life. But if the training becomes so exceedingly safe that that&#8217;s not a potential, then we&#8217;re not serving people in that training. And we&#8217;re not preparing them for what the battlefield&#8217;s going to expect.&#8221;

Sarraille said there&#8217;s &#8220;been a push to make the military a playground for progressive policies.&#8221;

Rogan asked his guests how these &#8220;progressive policies&#8221; are infecting the military. Mike said he&#8217;s &#8220;sick and tired&#8221; of these perceptions people have about the military thanks to Hollywood. Sarraille said people don&#8217;t understand what is necessary to be trained for what they face on the battlefield.
&#8220;We&#8217;ve gotten comfortable,&#8221; Sarraille admitted. &#8220;We&#8217;ve gotten way too comfortable here. And if they saw the atrocities that we saw over there, they would understand why [training is necessary]. You know, evil exists … we saw ISIS throwing gay men from seven-story roofs with the people in the town watching.&#8221;
