Carlson went so far as to <a href="https://x.com/disclosetv/status/1943833522344755521">imply</a> that Israel was “committing crimes on our soil.”

Iran intended to kill large numbers of people with the unprecedented attack that it launched against Israel over the weekend, according to a new U.S. intelligence assessment.
Reuters <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/iran-informed-turkey-advance-its-operation-against-israel-turkish-source-2024-04-14/">reported</a> that the Biden administration communicated to Iran, through the Turkish government, that it&#8217;s attack on Israel had to be &#8220;within certain limits&#8221;.
Senior U.S. officials <a href="https://www.semafor.com/article/04/14/2024/iran-sought-mass-casualties-in-israel-strike-us-official-say">told</a> Semafor that that the attack — which included hundreds of one-way suicide drones and missiles — was &#8220;designed to cause mass casualties and infrastructure damage,&#8221; the report said.
Israeli officials said that Iran crossed a major red line with its attack, the first time the Islamic Republic has ever directly attacked Israel, and would pay a steep price for the terror inflicted against the Jewish state.
They said that despite Iran&#8217;s claims that it was only targeting military infrastructure, Iran also targeted &#8220;major civilian areas&#8221; and that a direct military response would be required.

&#8220;When you see these images, are you comfortable with these sorts of tactics, with dressing up as civilians and going into a hospital to kill terrorists?&#8221; Burnett asked.

The United States and Israel have to target <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/iran" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Iran</a> if either hopes to curb terrorism that plagues the Middle East, according to Knesset member and former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.
Bennett, who served as prime minister of Israel from 2021 to 2022, wrote in an <a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-us-and-israel-need-to-take-iran-on-directly-proxies-hamas-threat-7f67a238" target="_blank" rel="noopener">op-ed</a> in The Wall Street Journal on Friday that Israel and the U.S. should target Iran over the activities of its terrorist proxies. Ramping up consequences for the Iranian regime over the work of groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah is the only way to curb terrorism in the region, he said.
“The Iranian regime is at the center of most of the Middle East’s problems and much of global terror. Yet inexplicably, almost nobody is touching it. For the past 45 years, the regime has been the source of endless war, terror and suffering throughout the world. I’ve come to realize that enough is enough. The evil empire of Iran must be brought down,” Bennett said.
The Iranian regime supported the October 7 terror attack on Israel, which was perpetrated by Hamas and the Islamic Jihad in Gaza. The attackers massacred roughly 1,200 Israelis and took hundreds more hostage. To Israel’s north, Iran-backed Hezbollah has launched hundreds of rockets at Israel, forcing the Jewish state to evacuate tens of thousands of its own citizens from their homes.
Further south in Yemen, Iran-backed Houthis have launched rockets and drones against cargo ships in the Red Sea, disrupting shipping lanes into Israel and the Suez Canal, through which roughly a third of container ship cargo <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/hapag-lloyd-will-continue-divert-vessels-suez-canal-2023-12-29/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">passes</a>. In Iraq and Syria, Iran-backed militias have <a href="https://apnews.com/article/biden-kataib-hezbollah-drone-strike-us-military-injured-b4b4480e2cae6e7ad26e88eb625ab397" target="_blank" rel="noopener">carried out</a> numerous strikes against U.S. bases.
“Iran constantly attacks Israel via its proxies in such places as Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Gaza and Yemen,” Bennett wrote. “Iran’s terrorist proxies have waged war on every moderate element in the Middle East. They’ve attacked the Saudi oil company Aramco, the United Arab Emirates, the Kurds and Israel on many occasions. The most amazing part: Iran has largely gotten away with it.”

“There are many ways to weaken Iran: empower domestic opposition, ensure internet continuity during riots against the regime, strengthen its enemies, increase sanctions and economic pressures,” Bennett says.
“Iran’s tyrants are softer than one might expect. They gleefully send others to die for them. But when they’re hit at home, suddenly they become timid,” he continued. “The U.S. and Israel must set the clear goal of bringing down Iran’s evil regime. Not only is this possible. It is vital for the safety and security of the Middle East — and the entire civilized world.”

Former <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/israel">Israeli</a> Prime Minister Naftali Bennett slammed CNN&#8217;s Anderson Cooper during an interview over the way that the network and the media in general reported on the explosion at a hospital in Gaza this week.
The Hamas-run Palestinian Ministry of Health falsely claimed that Israel bombed the hospital, killing more than 500 people.
The media quickly promoted that narrative before top officials from Israel, the United States, and Europe cited evidence that thoroughly refuted those claims. The explosion was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hamas-lied-number-of-estimated-deaths-at-gaza-hospital-hit-by-rocket-lower-than-palestinian-claims-reports-say">caused</a> by a rocket that was fired by Palestinian terrorists and estimates put the number of people killed at far fewer than 500 people.
During his appearance on CNN, Bennett tore into anchor Anderson Cooper for the narrative that the network helped push.
&#8220;There are no two sides to this hospital. Either it was bombed by Israel or it was targeted by someone else on the Palestinian side,&#8221; he said. &#8220;If two people come and say, one says it&#8217;s raining outside and the other said it&#8217;s dry, you don&#8217;t bring the quotes of both sides. You just g*****n open the window and look whether it&#8217;s raining or not. That&#8217;s what we did.&#8221;
&#8220;And this hospital, in fact, it&#8217;s a parking lot, was hit definitely a hundred percent by [an] Islamic jihad barrage shot fired at 6:59 p.m.,&#8221; he continued. &#8220;We have three different videos from different angles showing it. We have the ballistics. We know that an Israeli bomb would have created a crater, which does not exist. We know that the propellant in the rocket, because it was a long-term rocket targeted for Israel, so a lot of that propellant was still in the rocket, which created a lot of fire. We have two Hamas [terrorists] talking to each other and saying and admitting that it is from Islamic jihad.&#8221;

After months of discontent among the Israel public regarding the current political leadership, led by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Bennett and Alternate Prime Minister Yair Lapid have announced they will hold new elections in the fall, possibly paving the way for a return by former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Tonight, as the transition period begins, Lapid will be sworn in as the new Prime Minister, just in time for him to greet President Biden when he <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2022/06/14/biden-travel-to-middle-east-in-july-00039369">visits</a> Israel in mid-July.

Bennett is a religious Jew; Lapid is aggressively <a href="https://m.knesset.gov.il/en/news/pressreleases/pages/press81121u.aspx">secular</a>.
Otzma Yehudit chairman Itamar Ben-Gvir had hopes of the new government reflecting a more right-wing position, as he stated, “Hopefully a new dawn will rise on the State of Israel. The people need a full-fledged right-wing government that will repair the damage made by the [Bennett-Lapid coalition] and restore security to the streets of Israel. God willing now it&#8217;s the Right&#8217;s turn to be victorious,” Israel National News <a href="https://www.israelnationalnews.com/flashes/579920">reported.</a>
The Bennett-Lapid coalition, which has been hanging by a thread as it is comprised of 60 members of the 120-member Knesset, is comprised of eight parties, with the United Arab List, headed by Mansour Abbas, as one of them. The coalition was the first in Israel history to include an Arab party.
The United Arab List <a href="https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/7/2/analysis-can-united-arab-list-change-israeli-politics">wants a Palestinian state</a> in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with East Jerusalem as its capital.
In early April Bennett wound up in trouble after Yamina MK Idit Silman <a href="https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-703365">announced</a> she was resigning from the government coalition. Bennett&#8217;s government lost its 61-seat Knesset majority as a result, putting his government in a tie with the opposition.
The Daily Wire <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/israels-political-crisis-bennett-government-coalition-loses-majority-as-whip-idit-silman-resigns/">noted</a> at the time:
<blockquote>According to the <a href="https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-703372">Jerusalem Post</a> and <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/silmans-coalition-defection-catches-political-partners-off-guard/">Times of Israel</a>, if the Bennett government is unable to restore its majority, the two most likely outcomes are either elections or the formation of a new government within the Knesset. If the Knesset is dissolved and new elections are called, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid would immediately replace Naftali Bennet and become interim Prime Minister until a new government is formed, according to the coalition agreement.
Alternatively, the opposition could cobble together a coalition of at least 61 Knesset within the current Knesset, avoiding handing the premiership to Lapid. Given that the Arab Joint List would not support the formation of a right-wing administration, it would need to pull away seven members of the current coalition. Defense Minister Benny Gantz&#8217;s eight-seat Blue and White party, as well as right-wing components of the present coalition, are potential options for joining with Likud and the other right-wing parties, although it is unclear whether Bibi Netanyahu would become Prime Minister in such an agreement.

Speaking at the first Sunday cabinet meeting he has headed as Israel’s new prime minister, Naftali Bennett noted the election of Iran’s new president, Ebrahim Raisi — who had formerly served as the head of Iran’s judiciary — and asserted that he was “the man infamous among Iranians and across the world for leading the death committees which executed thousands of innocent Iranian citizens throughout the years.”
Bennett continued that Raisi’s election represented “the last chance for the world powers to wake up before returning to the nuclear agreement and to understand who they’re doing business with. These guys are murderers, mass murderers.&#8221;
Bennett stated:

On Sunday, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/week-transcript-20-21-white-house-national-security/story?id=78384258">asked</a> on ABC’s “This Week” about Bennett’s comments regarding Raisi. Host George Stephanopoulos asked Sullivan, “The new Israeli prime minister this morning, Naftali Bennett, called him the hangman of Tehran, called his election a wake-up call for the West. Do you agree with that reaction?”
Sullivan deflected:
<blockquote>Well, I think what we need to do in the United States is keep our eye on the ball. And that is our paramount priority right now is to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. We believe that diplomacy is the best way to achieve that, rather than military conflict. And so, we&#8217;re going to negotiate in a clear-eyed, firm way with the Iranians to see if we can arrive at an outcome that puts their nuclear program in the box.
And in that regard, whether the president is person A or person B is less relevant than whether their entire system is prepared to make verifiable commitments to constrain their nuclear program.</blockquote>
Meanwhile, the leftist newspaper <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jun/19/irans-president-elect-ebrahim-raisi-is-hardliner-linked-with-mass-executions">The Guardian</a> stated of Raisi’s history on Saturday:

Human Rights Watch <a href="https://www.hrw.org/news/2021/06/19/iran-overseer-mass-executions-elected-president">sent out a similar message</a>. “As head of Iran’s repressive judiciary, Raisi oversaw some of the most heinous crimes in Iran’s recent history, which deserve investigation and accountability rather than election to high office,” Michael Page, deputy Middle East director at HRW, said in a statement.</blockquote>

On Monday, supermodel Bella Hadid, who routinely attacks Israel, decided to target new Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, accusing him of having said, “I’ve killed lots of Arabs in my life, and there’s no problem with that.” The network Al-Jazeera echoed Hadid’s claims, accusing Bennett of saying, &#8220;I’ve already killed lots of Arabs in my life, and there’s no problem with that.”
But the video shows Bennett confronting an Arab member of the Knesset who had made the same charge. He stated, “First she (former Knesset member and member of the Arab Balad party Hanin Zoabi) used a fabricated quote claiming I said I killed a lot of Arabs in my life. I never said this. Here I state: What I said was that in the context of my army service I killed many terrorists. This is good and it’s a shame we didn’t kill more terrorists.”

In April, Israel’s Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit decided to indict Zoabi, of the Arab Balad party, on fraud charges. “Zoabi is accused of forging documents that were submitted to the State Comptroller between 2013 and 2016. She is suspected of systematically deceiving the ombudsman by misrepresenting the source of millions of shekels the party had received,” <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/firebrand-former-mk-hanin-zoabi-to-be-charged-with-fraud-over-party-finances/">The Times of Israel</a> reported.
As for Hadid, in mid-May, the State of Israel’s official Twitter account, managed by Israel’s Foreign Ministry, noted Hadid had joined a protest at which she parroted the infamous slogan “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” often interpreted as a call for the genocide of Israeli Jews.
The State of Israel’s Twitter account stated, “When celebrities like [Bella Hadid] advocate for throwing Jews into the sea, they are advocating for the elimination of the Jewish State. This shouldn&#8217;t be an Israeli-Palestinian issue. This should be a human issue. Shame on you.”

In mid-May, Bennett slammed Hadid, John Oliver, and Trevor Noah for their attacks on Israel, as <a href="https://www.jpost.com/j-spot/bennett-slams-john-oliver-trevor-noah-bella-hadid-on-israel-criticism-668672">The Jerusalem Post</a> reported. He stated, &#8220;So Bella, John, and Noah, help me out here. If a terror organization like Hamas called to murder your families and launched thousands of missiles at your children while they&#8217;re hiding inside hospitals, schools, and media offices, what would you do?&#8221;
Earlier this month, Hadid, who has been calling for a “Free Palestine,” decided to post a photo from 1939 of a soccer team from “Palestine,” possibly to buttress claims that “Palestine” existed long before the state of Israel was reborn in 1948.
One problem: the photo showed the team from “Palestine,” all right, but every member of the team was Jewish. Additionally, they all had the Jewish Star of David emblazoned on their uniforms.
Israeli Arab activist Yosef Haddad noted:

Israel’s new foreign minister, Yair Lapid, reaffirmed Israel’s opposition to the Iran deal and its support for a series of Middle East peace agreements orchestrated by the Trump administration.
Lapid reiterated Israel’s stances, continuations of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s policy, after a new government was voted in by Israel’s Knesset on Sunday. Netanyahu lost his prime ministership after 12 consecutive years in the office to a left-right coalition of smaller parties primarily united by opposition to Netanyahu himself.
In some of his first remarks to international allies, Lapid reiterated the state’s opposition to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), known as the Iran deal and negotiated between the U.S., Iran, and a number of others under former President Barack Obama. Lapid said that the deal was weak and did not prevent Iran from eventually becoming a nuclear power.
“We have to work together as we face a new Iran deal. This is a bad deal and we are going to work with the prime minister. Israel will use every option at its disposal in order to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon,” Lapid told U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken as well as French President Emmanuel Macron, according to <a href="https://www.israelhayom.com/2021/06/14/lapid-vows-government-will-counter-irans-nuclearization-with-every-available-option/">Israel Hayom</a>. President Joe Biden has entered into talks with Iran of the U.S. rejoining the agreement and lifting sanctions.
Lapid also voiced his support for a package of peace treaties with other Middle Eastern countries negotiated by the Trump administration. The treaties, known as the Abraham Accords, worked toward normalizing Israeli-Arab relations throughout the Middle East and were in part spurred on by Iranian aggression in the region. As Hayom reports:

Lapid, a centrist and leader of the Yair Lapid party, is on deck to be the next prime minister of Israel under a power-sharing agreement made with Prime Minister Naftali Bennet, who is a right-wing leader. Partnered with Lapid, other centrists and left-wingers are in a tenuous coalition that edged out Netanyahu’s dominant Likud Party and its allies.
While the change in government after 12 years under Netanyahu has given the White House an opportunity to reset relations with Israel, the country remains a majority conservative country.
