All the Hollywood celebrities are out and showing their absolute rage — but not at the Iranian government mowing people down in the streets.
As cataclysmic events take place in Iran, with apparently hundreds or thousands of protesters being shot to death, a number that has even been estimated to be 10,000, it’s good to know the folks in Hollywood have their priorities straight. 
The Golden Globes were held on Sunday night, providing an opportunity for members of the Hollywood contingent — who prize their pseudo-morality over everyone else&#8217;s — to make a stand.
After all, they&#8217;ve made stands on issues as far back as Tibet in the 1990s (which they conveniently have now forgotten all about).
Remember when last year, a bunch of Hollywood celebrities pranced around like fools, claiming that a genocide that was not happening was, in fact, happening, and criticized the State of Israel for defending its own existence. 
This year, they have a different cause because, hey, new day, new cause. Now, what could that cause be?
The cause of the Iranian people who are out in the streets risking their own deaths to defy the mullahs? The people of Iran, many of whom are secular and westernized in their attitudes toward the state? Are those the people toward whom Hollywood directs all of its sympathies? Are they sparing a moment for those people? 
Of course not.

Hollywood put on a show at the Golden Globes, and everything was about ICE and LGBTQ and Bari Weiss taking over CBS, because, you see, these are the real threats. 
According to people in Hollywood, you should have your eyes focused like a laser beam on the predations of ICEt enforcing the law with regard to illegal immigration and deporting people for welfare fraud.
You should have your eyes focused like a laser beam on Bari Weiss taking over CBS News and preventing it from its long history of inaccurately reporting the news. 
You should be focused like a laser beam on the terrible predations that affect LGBTQ+- people all over the United States.
It is an act of bravery to stand up at the Golden Globes and virtue signal on behalf of the LGBTQ+- community.
So last night, a bunch of celebs showed up and decided — as our Moral Guideposts, the lodestars of our civilization — that the chief things you need to worry about as an American are ICE, LGBTQ+-, and Bari Weiss.
Hostess Nikki Glaser began the evening by going after the most deserving target, who deserved her absolute rage: Bari Weiss and CBS News.
Mark Ruffalo showed up and said it was hard to pretend anymore that we don&#8217;t live in a “dictatorship.”
Thus saith the man who wears a tux at the Golden Globes and gets paid millions of dollars to play the same character that he has played in every other miniseries and movie for the last two decades.
“We have a woman, Renee Good, was murdered in our streets of America today, and we got literally stormtroopers running around terrorizing. And as much as I love all this, I can&#8217;t. I don&#8217;t know if I can pretend like this crazy stuff isn&#8217;t happening. It&#8217;s so hard to pretend anymore,” he complained.
It&#8217;s hard for him to pretend? He’s an actor.
This is a person who spent the last two years basically standing on behalf of terrorist groups in the Middle East. But it&#8217;s very hard for him to pretend that there aren&#8217;t “stormtroopers” wandering the streets.
You know what&#8217;s cool about being able to say that sort of thing? There aren&#8217;t stormtroopers wandering the streets — because throughout history, when there were stormtroopers wandering the streets, celebrities didn&#8217;t get to go on camera and talk about how there were stormtroopers wandering the streets.
In fact, there are many places on Earth where the stormtroopers do wander the streets. For example, Iran, where there are stormtroopers shooting people in the head for protesting.
Did Ruffalo have a word for them?
Nope. He had a little pin that read, “Be Good,” referencing Renee Good.
Hollywood always seems to pick the side that opposes law enforcement or opposes the West.
“The guy’s a convicted felon or convicted rapist. He&#8217;s a pedophile,” Ruffalo said of President Trump. “He&#8217;s the worst human being. If we&#8217;re relying on this guy&#8217;s morality for the most powerful country in the world, then we&#8217;re all in a lot of trouble. So this is for her. This is for the people in the United States who are terrorized and scared today. I know I&#8217;m one of them. I love this country. And what I&#8217;m seeing here happening is not America.”
He slandered the president of the United States as a pedophile, called him the worst person in the world, for, among other things, extraditing Nicolás Maduro — a Marxist dictator responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands and probably hundreds of thousands of people and the exile of literally millions of people. That, to Mark Ruffalo, is a big moral problem.
Not a word to spare for the millions marching in the streets in Iran right now, thousands of whom are getting mowed down by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Ariana Grande also showed up wearing her ICE Out pin, the new hot thing in Hollywood.
Frankly, any amount of weight added to her garment puts her at risk of falling over.
Wanda Sykes showed up to talk about LGBTQ+-, saying, “You know, there&#8217;s some people pissed off that a queer black woman is up here doing the job of two mediocre white guys.”
This is where Hollywood puts its priorities. There are people on earth literally putting their lives at risk, their bodies on the line for their own freedom.
And Hollywood has nothing to say to them. Nothing.
Are you seeing protests on campuses in favor of the Iranian people right now? Have you seen a single protest?
You have not.
Have you seen a single mass protest by all of these international-law-loving, human rights-adoring left-wingers, the Zohran Mamdani wing of the Democratic Party, in favor of the protesters in Iran, who simply want their horrifying theocratic regime gone?
You have not.
Have you seen a single comment from Democrats, beyond a kind of “thoughts and prayers?”
You have not.
Have you seen protests in the streets?
You have not.
Have you seen calls for material aid?
You have not.
It’s sad-sack nonsense, because there are people in the world who are doing something courageous and incredible right now.
And Hollywood and the Left are gladly looking the other way.

Hollywood stars have taken a knee on the “Trump is Hitler” meme, pivoting to the men and women of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/immigration-and-customs-enforcement-ice">ICE</a> (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
A gaggle of notable names have ridiculed ICE for daring to enforce the nation’s immigration laws — laws supported by a majority of U.S. voters.
The agents, to date, have mostly focused on the worst offenders. Think illegal immigrants accused of heinous crimes who managed to remain free during the Biden administration.
Now, they’re being targeted by President Trump’s no-nonsense border czar Tom Homan. And progressive stars are raging everywhere they can against Team Homan. Late-night TV. Social media. Interviews.

Stephen King played <a href="https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:h7obn4tkp47wn7gqh4oe5eij/post/3lrxwo2xx322u?ref_src=embed">the Nazi card</a> against ICE officials from the progressive Utopia known as BlueSky, including a misspell of “Gestapo.”

Comedian Patton Oswalt used less incendiary rhetoric, by comparison, to light up ICE during a recent “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” appearance.
Oswalt called them “<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YISQeVMl7RE">Pillsbury Stormtroopers</a>,” comparing their alleged physiques to his own lumpy form.
<blockquote>Your knees are hurting, your hips are screaming, and your back is aching … And you’re thinking, ‘Why didn’t I just stay home and play Red Dead Redemption and eat Sun Chips instead of coming out here in the heat where everyone’s booing me and I’m realizing that I’m the biggest douchebag on the planet?’</blockquote>
Oswalt’s rhetoric grew uglier when it came to Trump’s border czar. The “Ratatouille” star, after hearing about death threats tied to Homan, weighed in <a href="https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:bwvd55e4hsxpuxa5ikrfgqgo/post/3lshyjaky722d?ref_src=embed">via BlueSky</a>.

The far-Left hosts at “The View” couldn’t let the ICE raids go unnoticed. The ABC squad saw the chaos encircling Los Angeles earlier this month during the open borders protests and found the <a href="https://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/nicholas-fondacaro/2025/06/10/view-la-riots-were-peaceful-days-ice-brought-crisis">source of the problem</a>.
They pointed to the ICE agents, not the protesters burning cars and hurling bricks at law enforcement officers.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg says the city’s pro-illegal immigration rallies were “mostly peaceful” until ICE agents arrived on the scene. She leaned on impeccable sources for her wisdom.

Sunny Hostin chimed in, playing the “mostly peaceful” card and backing up Goldberg’s anti-ICE assessment.
Credit pop superstar Lizzo with the most deranged take on the matter.
She claimed “illegal” immigrants <a href="https://news.meaww.com/lizzo-sparks-backlash-over-no-such-thing-as-illegal-no-borders-anti-ice-rant-avoid-this-thinking">aren’t real</a> because no one actually owns land.
<blockquote>When people finally understand that these terms and ideas are tools for racism and capitalism we can truly be free. We can finally see the oppressors for who they are.</blockquote>
Sometimes, profanity is a celebrity’s best friend. Take Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny. He <a href="https://variety.com/2025/music/news/bad-bunny-calls-out-ice-video-puerto-rico-raids-1236434813/">blasted ICE agents</a> as “motherf****rs” in a Spanish screed on Instagram, tied to a video of agents interrogating unnamed people.
“Look, those motherf——s are in these cars, RAV-4s. They’re here in Pontezuela,” he posted in Spanish.

Not to be outdone, “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert didn’t step in when one of his guests promoted extreme rhetoric from the show’s signature CBS couch. Instead, he piled on.
Congressman Maxwell Frost (D-FL) told the far-Left host ICE agents are <a href="https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2025/06/20/stephen-colbert-parrots-dem-rep-max-frosts-claim-ice-illegal-alien-arrests-look-like-kidnapping/">“kidnapping people.”</a>
<blockquote>We have ICE federal agents pulling up, terrorizing our communities, hopping out of unmarked vans, stealing and yes, kidnapping people, not giving them their day in court and yes, human trafficking them to other nations.</blockquote>
Colbert nodded along, doubling down on the kidnapping verbiage.

Veteran singer Shakira leaned into the fear-mongering part of the celebrity playbook, also conflating legal and illegal immigration during a BBC interview.
She described the immigrant experience as “<a href="https://variety.com/2025/music/news/shakira-immigrant-united-states-constant-fear-1236432560/">living in constant fear</a>.”

Mark Ruffalo, one of the most outspoken stars in the Hollywood galaxy, <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/mark-ruffalo-jimmy-kimmel-more-stars-protests-no-kings-1236291157/">railed against ICE efforts</a> during California’s “No Kings” June 14 protest.
<blockquote>We see a president who has made himself a king and dictator, and we don’t see an opposition that’s powerful enough to stand up against the trampling of our rights and the trampling of the Constitution that’s happening every single day with executive orders, with the refusal to obey court orders, kidnapping of immigrants, people who are here legally, people who their children are being taken from them.</blockquote>

Celebrity Nation decried the January 6 riot and demanded protesters pay a stiff price for battling beleaguered Capitol Police officers. Things are different now, apparently. They could have objected to ICE raids on different grounds, suggesting that hard-working illegals should find a path to citizenship, not a one-way ticket out of the U.S.
Instead, in the grand “Spinal Tap” tradition, they turned the incendiary rhetoric up to 11.
Worst of all, none of this is happening in a vacuum. The Department of Homeland Security says attacks on ICE agents have shot up <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/assaults-on-ice-agents-increase-500?author=Catherine+Maxwell&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Assaults+on+ICE+Agents+Increase+500%25">500% in recent weeks</a>. ICE agents are routinely doxxed, forcing them to mask up to protect their loved ones.
The stars won’t stop their incendiary rhetoric, apparently, even if it gets someone hurt. Or worse.

Avowed leftist Mark Ruffalo is at it again, claiming that “billionaires” are the real problem while immigrants contribute nothing but hard work and prosperity to the country.
The 57-year-old “Avengers” actor spoke on the topic while attending one of several “No Kings” protest rallies that took place over the weekend. A video of his rant began circulating on social media.
Ruffalo said in the video that “immigrants aren’t the criminals,” claiming they “add to our economy by the billions.” He also said white people commit “most of the crimes” in society.
The actor said billionaires are “the true villains,” and the ones who are “really making our lives unbearable and making us so desperate.”

“It’s time to take our country back from that extreme wealth that has its hands all over the power of the nation,” said Ruffalo, whose estimated <a href="https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/actors/mark-ruffalo-net-worth/">net worth</a> is around $35 million. 
Many social media commenters called out the Hulk actor for his comments, pointing out how immigrants who came here illegally are technically criminals.
“How is he that rich but also that stupid?” one person <a href="https://x.com/Neko_Tet/status/1935332215904419879">wondered</a>.
“This does prove what a great actor he is. Mark can play the brilliant Bruce Banner despite his extremely limited grasp on reality and logic,” another <a href="https://x.com/TheMuppetPastor/status/1935310936866160888">said</a>. 
“I think he took one too many headshots from Thanos,” another commenter <a href="https://x.com/RevAdamTBarr/status/1934963585169371364">joked</a>.
Several days ago, the actor went off on President Trump and ICE enforcement in another social media post, Variety <a href="https://variety.com/2025/film/news/mark-ruffalo-slams-billionaires-donald-trump-grifter-1236435124/">reported</a>.
“You want to get rid of the people who are picking your food, without a care in the world for who is poisoning your bodies with chemicals that aren’t ever meant to be in nature. You want to drive out those who make your life easier but not question those who dull your minds with lies and disinformation meant to confuse you and destroy brotherly and sisterly love for us here? You&#8217;re pointing your guns in the wrong direction,” he wrote in the lengthy screed.
“The president is a grifter,” Ruffalo continued. “His family is raking it in with their bitcoin con, the dopey tech billionaire takes your tax money to make himself richer than any person in the history of mankind with his pipe dream of living on Mars, while you starve, while you worry, while he gleefully lets people with AIDS, people suffering famine, or persecution or political danger silently die. He fires your family members, and stops cancer research to help cure the ones you love.”

Mark Ruffalo, Bette Midler, Ava DuVernay, and more actors have signed a letter to President Trump asking him to hold the line against tech companies who they said have pushed to “weaken copyright” rules, <a href="https://deadline.com/2025/03/trump-ai-hollywood-response-copyright-1236329205/">Deadline</a> noted.
“We firmly believe that America’s global AI leadership must not come at the expense of our essential creative industries,” the group wrote the White House Office of Science and Technology in an open letter.
“America’s arts and entertainment industry supports over 2.3M American jobs with over $229Bn in wages annually, while providing the foundation for American democratic influence and soft power abroad,” it added. “But AI companies are asking to undermine this economic and cultural strength by weakening copyright protections for the films, television series, artworks, writing, music, and voices used to train AI models at the core of multi-billion dollar corporate valuations.”

“For nearly 250 years, U.S. copyright law has balanced [a] creator’s rights with the needs of the public, creating the world’s most vibrant creative economy,” the letter continued. “We recommend that the American AI Action Plan uphold existing copyright frameworks to maintain the strength of America’s creative and knowledge industries, as well as American cultural influence abroad.”
In addition to Ruffalo, Midler, and DuVernay, Ben Stiller, Cate Blanchett, Judd Apatow, Taika Waititi, Natasha Lyonne, Paul McCartney, Lily Gladstone, and Patton Oswalt joined a list of more than 400 people in the entertainment industry who have called on Trump’s administration because they claim OpenAI and Google “are arguing for a special government exemption so they can freely exploit America’s creative and knowledge industries, despite their substantial revenues and available funds.&#8221;
&#8220;AI companies can use our copy-righted material by simply doing what the law requires – negotiating appropriate licenses with copyright holders, just as every other industry does,&#8221; the letter read. &#8220;This issue goes well beyond the entertainment industry, as the right to train AI on all copyright-protected content impacts all of America’s knowledge industries.&#8221;
<a href="https://www.aol.com/actor-mark-ruffalo-dubs-trump-025802346.html">Ruffalo</a> has been an outspoken critic of the president, labeling him once an “enemy of America” in response to an op-ed in The New York Times that claimed Trump was a threat to democracy.

Frequent Trump critic Midler previously <a href="https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-bette-midler-social-media-1890734">shared a post</a> on X from a writer who labeled Trump “a troll,&#8221; who has &#8220;no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth.” She captioned the post, noting how “brilliant” the writer was.
Following the 2024 election, director DuVernay blasted Trump’s re-election in spite of the criminal charges he faced, <a href="https://deadline.com/2024/12/ava-duvernay-donald-trump-re-election-origin-release-marrakech-1236190812/">Deadline</a> noted.
“My country is run by criminals, but that criminality is seen as completely different than a black kid on the corner who might buy, sell marijuana,” the actress said. “The black kid is in prison for years, while criminals are elected and make millions of dollars and sell electric cars.”

The newest cringe <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kamala-harris">Kamala Harris</a> endorsement ad comes courtesy of some stars of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/marvel">Marvel</a> film, “Avengers: Endgame.” The staged phone call between the actors was posted to leftist activist Mark Ruffalo’s X page on Thursday.
Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Danai Gurira, Don Cheadle, and Paul Bettany participated in the project.

The social media mockery of the new ad was swift and fierce.
“Um, a little too much honesty here… Kamala Harris ‘tearing down democracy!’” Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz <a href="https://x.com/tedcruz/status/1852148187760410757">posted</a> on X.
“I believe we can safely say Vice President Kamala Harris has secured the Hollywood douchenozzle vote,” another reaction <a href="https://x.com/CarmineSabia/status/1852116791947927844">said</a>. 
This isn’t the first time these stars participated in a video supporting the Democratic candidate for president. In 2016, Downey Jr., Johansson, Ruffalo, and Cheadle joined other celebrities in an ad <a href="https://youtu.be/nRp1CK_X_Yw">attacking Donald Trump</a>. 
In that video, Cheadle described Trump as a &#8220;racist, abusive coward who could permanently damage the fabric of our society.&#8221;

Actor Mark Ruffalo took some backlash for a Sunday post suggesting that an Israeli military operation — which resulted in the rescue of four hostages held by Hamas terrorists since October 7th — was not worth it because of the number of Palestinian civilians who were supposedly killed.
Ruffalo, who took on the role of the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, repeated the number of casualties declared by the Hamas-controlled <a href="https://x.com/sentdefender/status/1799510443737624662" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gaza officials</a> and suggested that it was not an even exchange for just four of the remaining hostages.
&#8220;It’s so good to see the hostages returned,&#8221; Ruffalo began, but pivoted immediately. &#8220;A ceasefire would have gotten many more hostages back and no civilians and children killed. This siege is cruel and senseless. Grinding innocent human beings and their culture into blood soaked rubble and dust, to be buried and forgotten. 4 for 274 including kids. It’s a sinful equation that keeps repeating.&#8221;
Critics quickly pointed out to Ruffalo that the hostages were not &#8220;returned,&#8221; they were rescued — and one noted that there was a very simple way to avoid any civilian casualties in the future.

&#8220;The Avengers&#8221; actor Mark Ruffalo took aim at the Supreme Court on Saturday, claiming that recent decisions had proven it is a &#8220;right-wing ideological political institution&#8221; and demanding that the legislative and executive branches act to control it.
Ruffalo delivered his message in a couple of tweets, responding to a HuffPost article that accused the current Court of effectively &#8220;rolling back the 20th century.&#8221; The article highlighted several recent decisions the author viewed as regressive — namely, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/report-at-least-10000-fewer-legal-abortions-have-occurred-since-overturn-of-roe" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dobbs decision</a> overturning Roe v. Wade, the decision axing <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/whoopi-blows-up-over-affirmative-action-ruling-why-do-you-fear-us" target="_blank" rel="noopener">affirmative action</a> in the college admissions process, the decision that killed Biden&#8217;s student loan forgiveness program, and the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/gorsuch-lambasts-sotomayors-dissent-in-christian-web-designer-ruling-opens-fire-on-its-own-position" target="_blank" rel="noopener">303 Creative</a> decision that came down last week.
&#8220;Okay. So we all understand that the Supreme Court has become a right-wing ideological political institution under Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Barrett, Kavanaugh, &amp; Roberts,&#8221; Ruffalo declared. &#8220;They&#8217;re for sale &amp; illegitimate. Bolsonaro mocked Ruffalo’s intelligence with a vengeance, first calling him “Mark Ruffles,” then comparing the Brazilian Constitution to the “complicated Hulk scripts you have to memorize” including Ruffalo as The Hulk reading the line of dialogue saying “AHGFRR.”
He wrote, “Dear Mark Ruffles, calm down! I&#8217;m sure you have never read the Brazilian Constitution, but I can assure you it&#8217;s nothing like the complicated Hulk scripts you have to memorize: ‘AHGFRR.’ Read it and you&#8217;ll find out I&#8217;m not only respecting it, but protecting Brazil&#8217;s rule of law.”

Then Bolsonaro got more serious, asserting, “The records show my government has always been on the side of democracy and the Constitution. It&#8217;s the Brazilian left (your masters) who wants to control the press, curb freedom of speech, censor the internet and financially support dictatorships like Cuba and Venezula, not me.”
He attempted to put it in terms the actor could more easily understand, writing, “Let me make it simple: if Captain America was elected by +55 million people and Thanos, who is a foreigner and doesn&#8217;t know anything about the US, tries to interfere in the American territory or electoral process, it&#8217;s Thanos and not the Captain who is disrespect[ing] democracy.”

Ruffalo has said America is guilty of apartheid; comparing it to Israel, which he also accused of apartheid. Asked in an interview in October 2020, he ranted, “Here we are in America, and we’re looking at the very same thing. I mean, this is kind of an apartheid system. There is [sic] two Americas; there’s the BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color) America and there’s the white America. And that’s an injustice.”
Bolsonaro has ripped famous American leftist actors before; in April, he targted Leonardo DiCaprio, an avowed environmentalist who has been publicly rebuked for flying on private jets, after DiCaprio urged young Brazilians to vote.
“Thanks for your support, Leo!” Bolsonaro snapped. “It&#8217;s really important to have every Brazilian voting in the coming elections. Our people will decide if they want to keep our sovereignty on the Amazon or to be ruled by crooks who serve foreign special interest. Good job in The Revenant!”

Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner unloaded on actor Mark Ruffalo after he referred to the ongoing war in Ukraine as &#8220;a gift&#8221; if it would set the world down the path toward adopting green energy.
Faulkner and her co-hosts on the network&#8217;s midday panel show &#8220;Outnumbered&#8221; weighed in on <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/actor-mark-ruffalo-says-ukraine-war-is-a-gift-for-bidens-climate-change-initiatives/">comments</a> Ruffalo made during a recent conversation with MSNBC&#8217;s Katy Tur.
&#8220;Actor and environmental justice warrior, should I put that in quotes, because they all fly,&#8221; Faulkner began before cutting to video of the exchange. &#8220;Mark Ruffalo says the war in Ukraine that has resulted in the thousands of deaths and unspeakable war crimes we see daily has actually been a &#8216;gift&#8217; for President Biden’s clean energy effort.&#8221;
&#8220;This is a moment for President Biden to take this, our momentum, people’s fear, their disgust of the war, their disgust with energy prices and–and use that to solidify a message to the American people that now is the time to transition,&#8221; Ruffalo said of the conflict. &#8220;This where the jobs are, this is where national security is, and we’re going to keep pushing him to do it and this is a gift to the president as we see it and we see him accepting it in such terms.&#8221;

&#8220;War is not something to be used. War is not something that is a gift, this is something you learn when you are five or maybe ten and it is elementary,&#8221; former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany added, arguing that if Ruffalo was going to make the war in Ukraine about the climate agenda, he was without empathy for those who were going through it.
&#8220;How disgusting that the climate agenda means so much to this man that he is delusional to the point of not having the empathy,&#8221; she said, referencing the <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/jake-tapper-presses-blinken-to-pick-a-side-has-the-u-s-seen-evidence-that-russia-is-committing-war-crimes/">heartbreaking images and stories</a> that had come out of Ukraine in the weeks since Russia first <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/russian-train-station-attack-kills-dozens-of-ukrainian-civilians/">attacked</a>.
&#8220;Do you remember, Harris, and Emily, I know that we were on air together when the pregnant woman was bombed in that maternity hospital. And you pointed out just the blanket over her, it was so sad to watch, unfortunately she did not make it and neither did her child, those are the images of war and that’s what we must bring to light as to what is happening in Ukraine. It is certainly not a gift,&#8221; McEnany continued.

Actor Mark Ruffalo is outspoken on political issues, especially climate change. Now he’s saying Russia’s invasion of Ukraine could be a good catalyst for advancing President Biden’s climate-focused initiatives, Fox News <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/mark-ruffalo-calls-ukraine-war-gift-president-bidens-climate-change-agenda">reported</a>. He even called the war a &#8220;gift&#8221; for the movement.
The “13 Going On 30” star made the remarks during an episode of MSNBC Reports. “How do you fight against the advocacy groups out of there, the dark money groups out of there, that are out there that fight against climate change?&#8221; host Katy Tur inquired of the panel, which included Ruffalo.
&#8220;I mean, the Koch brothers, there’s all sorts of dark money that has stopped solar energy in Arizona. Arizona, which has the most sunlight,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;So, how do you, with this campaign, cut through the mis and disinformation?&#8221;
Ruffalo pushed for renewable energy no matter who supported it or how complicated it was to instate. 
&#8220;On the Koch brothers. Yeah, there is the dark money and that’s definitively an issue, but when you look at how quickly we are actually moving on this transition, when you look at how many jobs it&#8217;s created; it doesn&#8217;t matter what the Koch brothers say or do,” Ruffalo said. &#8220;At the end of the day, we are going to win and we are going to transition over.&#8221; 
&#8220;Are we going to do it in a graceful way or are we gonna do it … kicking and screaming?&#8221; the actor continued.
Next, Ruffalo said the conflict in Ukraine was a “gift” for Biden because he could use the public’s emotions to advance legislation that was focused on combating climate change.
“This is a moment for President Biden to take this, our momentum, people&#8217;s fear, their disgust of the war, their disgust with energy prices and&#8211;and use that to solidify a message to the American people that now is the time to transition,” the activist actor said.
&#8220;This where the jobs are, this is where national security is, and we’re going to keep pushing him to do it and this is a gift to the president as we see it and we see him accepting it in such terms,&#8221; Ruffalo said.
The “Now You See Me” actor isn’t pleased with everyone using global events their benefit, however. On Monday, Ruffalo tweeted his response to an article detailing how gas prices increased to over $4/gallon since 2020 and company executives retained their high salaries.
