<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/kylie-jenner" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kylie Jenner</a> shut down plastic surgery rumors and asked how people could compare the face she had when she was 12 years old to the one she has now.
In a cover story for <a href="https://www.interviewmagazine.com/culture/kylie-jenner-interviewed-by-jennifer-lawrence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Interview magazine</a>, actress Jennifer Lawrence and the 26-year-old reality TV star talked about being accused of having work done to change their facial appearance despite both crediting the changes to aging and makeup.
Lawrence said, &#8220;It&#8217;s incredible what makeup can do because I work with Hung [Vanngo], who overlines the lip, and I call him a plastic surgeon, because everybody in the last few months since I&#8217;ve been working with him is convinced that I had eye surgery.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m like, &#8216;I didn&#8217;t have eye surgery. I&#8217;m doing makeup,&#8221; she added.
Jenner said it&#8217;s amazing what makeup can do before admitting she &#8220;did end up getting lip fillers.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;ll see before and after photos when I&#8217;m 12 years old versus 26 and my eyebrows are filled differently,&#8221; Jenner said. &#8220;I have contour on. I&#8217;m like, &#8216;How can you compare my 12-year-old face and say I&#8217;ve gotten my jaw shaved and eyelids removed?&#8217; I&#8217;m like, &#8216;What are we talking about?'&#8221;
Lawrence agreed and said that she has had to deal with the same thing after coming into the spotlight at such a young age.
&#8220;I started at 19, so I get the before and after pictures from when I&#8217;m 19 to 30 and I&#8217;m like, &#8216;I grew up. I lost baby weight in my face, and my face changed because I&#8217;m aging,&#8221; the &#8220;Hunger Games&#8221; star said.

Earlier this year, <a href="https://people.com/kylie-jenner-regrets-getting-breasts-done-7565553" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jenner</a> expressed regret for going under the knife for breast augmentation when she was younger before having her two children.
&#8220;I wish I never got them done to begin with,&#8221; Jenner said. &#8220;[I] recommend anyone thinking about it to wait after children.&#8221;
In the same interview,  she admitted she&#8217;d be &#8220;heartbroken&#8221; if her daughter Stormi decided to get cosmetic surgery in her teenage years as she did.

Imagine you’re the head of Mattel, and you’re hoping the new “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/reviewers-barbie-movie-is-a-deeply-feminist-adventure-thats-poking-fun-at-the-patriarchy" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Barbie</a>” movie sends your toy sales skyrocketing.
And then you hear this line of dialogue about the iconic doll:
<blockquote>You represent everything wrong with our culture. You destroyed the planet with your glorification of rampant consumerism &#8230; you fascist!</blockquote>
Suddenly, the “Barbie” tie-ins got a little more… complicated. And that’s before the movie skewers both Mattel, Inc. and its fictional CEO (Will Ferrell).
This is hardly new from La La Land, a business where income inequality isn’t a bug. It’s the feature every ingenue craves. You’d think industry executives might avoid that awkward anti-capitalist messaging at all costs (much like how climate change activists fear their private jet addictions will be exposed).
And you’d be flat-out wrong.
Modern films go out of their way to smite the rich and decry income inequality. The stars inhabiting those films just so happen to be among the richest stars in the Hollywood galaxy.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
The “Barbie” film goes out of its way to not only trash consumerism, but the titular toy. And a vital character even suggests we stop buying these “fascist” dolls of flawless white women. Yes, that’s another word taken directly from the script to describe the plastic doll.
This summer features another big-budget comedy with the wealthy in its crosshairs.
The Jennifer Lawrence comedy “No Hard Feelings” finds the Oscar-winner smiting the rich early and often. She plays a bitter, broke woman named Maggie who decides to sleep with a younger man for a quick payday, courtesy of a wealthy couple who can buy just about anything.
Gross, right?
Not to Maggie. She’d rather do that than be part of the capitalist system. Lawrence’s character spends serious screen time trashing the rich. She’s drowning in debt and resents the wealthy Long Island residents keeping the local economy humming.
Her moral compass is pure, or at least she thinks it is.
Maggie all but spits in a wealthy bar customer’s face early in the film. His crime? He’s rich, and he asked for a drink minutes before the bar officially opened.
None of this was an accident. Director Gene Stupnitsky says he <a href="https://www.gq.com/story/jennifer-lawrence-no-hard-feelings-raunchy-comedy-beach-scene" target="_blank" rel="noopener">embraced the anti-wealthy angle</a> to add gravitas to the story, hoping it wouldn’t overwhelm the narrative.
The ultimate irony? The aggressively liberal Lawrence fought hard to snag a <a href="https://screenrant.com/no-hard-feelings-jennifer-lawrence-salary/#:~:text=Jennifer%20Lawrence%27s%20No%20Hard%20Feelings%20Salary%20Was%20Reportedly%20%2425%20Million" target="_blank" rel="noopener">multi-million dollar paycheck</a> to star in the film. Did she fight just as hard to make sure her co-stars got an equally large paycheck, or at least one larger than the studio initially offered? Talk about income inequality! So much privilege.
Last year saw two celebrated films similarly assault the rich.
The superior film “The Menu” featured Ralph Fiennes as a chef who invites wealthy diners to savor his revolutionary cuisine. The assorted guests, including far-left actor John Leguizamo, are portrayed as mostly shallow souls eager to climb the societal ladder.
The chef has more on his mind than keeping the dishes fresh and warm, and the story soon takes a horrific turn.
The mockery is relentless, although the film proved one of the sturdier awards season entries and didn’t get lost in its agenda.
The same can’t be said for “Triangle of Sadness,” the Best Picture nominee that scorches the elite early and often. The film’s first half is brilliant, and even Donald Trump might chuckle at its social X-ray of the fatuous elites.
A group of ultra-wealthy souls gather for an extravagant cruise, but they’re left to fend for themselves when a storm overwhelms the boat.
The moment Woody Harrelson enters the frame as the ship’s combative captain, sadly, the film’s agenda overwhelms the story. The satire’s second half is a dud with income inequality notes and a storytelling detour that sinks the initially impressive tale.
Conservatives rallied around Harrelson for <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/woody-harrelson-said-he-wasnt-fazed-by-backlash-from-snl-monologue-i-dont-look-at-that-s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">defying COVID-19 groupthink</a>, but hearing the ultra-wealthy star praise socialism in the film may be tough to swallow.
HBO’s “The White Lotus” series similarly deconstructs how the rich and famous spend their leisure time. Show creator Mike White does so with a gimlet eye for hypocrisy and a greater sense of cultural balance. He’s willing to torch the rich while mocking those who attack them without earning their slice of the financial pie.
The show’s first season showcases embittered Gen Z types — Olivia Mossbacher (Sydney Sweeney) and her pal Paula (Brittany O’Grady) — as they smirk their way through paradise.
Do they appreciate the sacrifices the Mossbachers made to get them to Maui or the endless work that gave them the chance for a once-in-a-lifetime trip like this? Of course not.
The two have little empathy for anyone other than themselves. Later in the season, Paula cracks the parents’ safe to help a resort worker, but it hardly feels like a charitable move.
The best “eat the rich” satire in recent memory may be HBO’s just-wrapped “Succession.” The celebrated drama showed the rich and famous brawling over power, fame, and family dynamics. The show drew near-universal acclaim despite its not-so-veiled attack on families like the conservative-leaning Murdoch clan.
Hollywood understandably loves to tweak the rich. Heck, many elites bring it on themselves, and great writers have famously toyed with excess in profound ways. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby” rushes to mind.
It’s far less agreeable when an industry renowned for excess not only mocks it, but does so sans irony.
Sometimes, though, screenwriters still get it right.

The <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t/twilight/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">actress said</a> she didn&#8217;t get a callback for the role that ended up going to Kristen Stewart. However, a year later, she got the part of Katniss Everdeen in &#8220;The Hunger Games,&#8221; a role that made her a worldwide celebrity.
&#8220;My life would&#8217;ve been totally different,&#8221; Lawrence said. &#8220;I mean, the work is still the same because I felt similar when I was doing &#8216;Hunger Games.'&#8221;

Fans of the dystopian &#8220;Hunger Games&#8221; franchise will soon get to see the backstory of how Coriolanus Snow becomes the tyrannical evil president of Panem when &#8220;<a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/hunger-games-ballad-of-songbirds-and-snakes-full-trailer-1235199988/">The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes</a>&#8220; hits the big screen in November. Lawrence did credit her &#8220;Hunger Games&#8221; costar with helping her develop better negotiating skills and learn to stand up for herself.

Actress <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jennifer-lawrence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jennifer Lawrence</a> said she feels strongly about other <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities" target="_blank" rel="noopener">professionals</a> who employ “method acting” to prepare for a role.
“I would be nervous to work with someone who’s method [acting],” the 32-year-old star said during an interview with “Hot Ones,” <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/jennifer-lawrence-nervous-work-method-actors-1235522162/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">per</a> The Hollywood Reporter. “Because I would have no idea how to talk to them, ’cause like, do I have to be in character? That would just make me nervous.”
The star of the new comedy “<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/movies" target="_blank" rel="noopener">No Hard Feelings</a>” described her personal approach to getting into character, which she says comes from another famous Hollywood star.
“I had always been very on/off, on/off until I did ‘American Hustle’ and worked with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/christian-bale" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Christian Bale</a>, who I noticed when the camera started rolling and the crew started preparing and it would be about 10 seconds to action, he [Bale] would start getting ready,” Lawrence said. “I saw that and was like, ‘That seems like a really good idea.’ So then I started to do that.”
Interestingly, Bale is well-known in Hollywood for being considered a method actor, despite denying that he is one. &#8220;You know, people call me that. And I don&#8217;t even really know what it is,&#8221; Bale told <a href="https://www.unilad.com/features/christian-bale-pale-blue-eye-method-actor-944186-20230105" target="_blank" rel="noopener">UNILAD</a>. &#8220;I just kind of wing it.&#8221;
&#8220;Method actors study method acting. I&#8217;ve never studied any acting at all,” the “Dark Knight” star continued. “I just don&#8217;t want to offend true method actors. I just do whatever I do. I don&#8217;t know what it is.&#8221;

Some examples of Bale’s commitment include gaining more than 40 pounds for his role in “American Hustle” and losing 63 pounds to play a chronic insomnia sufferer in the 2004 thriller “The Machinist.”
Method acting has been the subject of debate in the Hollywood community for a while. Oscar-winning actress <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/hilarious-and-sad-hollywood-a-lister-mocked-for-saying-tucker-carlson-haunts-her-nightmares/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jennifer Lawrence</a> claimed during a panel discussion that male directors often threw &#8220;the biggest hissy fits&#8221; on set, pushing back against the idea that women were more likely to let their emotions distract them from the job at hand.
Lawrence joined a <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-features/jennifer-lawrence-michelle-yeoh-actress-roundtable-1235282817/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hollywood Reporter roundtable</a> discussion that also included Danielle Deadwyler, Michelle Yeoh, Michelle Williams, Emma Corrin, and Claire Foy — and the group addressed a number of topics from how sexual abuse and trauma are portrayed in film to how far they would go to convince a director they wanted a specific part.
&#8220;When &#8216;Winter’s Bone&#8217; turned me down, they were doing L.A. casting that I went to, and they were like, &#8216;No, thank you,'&#8221; Lawrence recalled. &#8220;And then, they opened up casting in New York, and I flew to New York and just reentered like a stranger.&#8221;
Lawrence&#8217;s gamble payed off, and she eventually got the role — which she and the others agreed may have been in part because the directors were convinced she&#8217;d work harder because she&#8217;d shown that she really wanted it. &#8220;Maybe they were just scared at that point, and they were like, &#8216;OK.'&#8221;
But then the conversation turned to what it was like working with women at the helm of film projects — and Lawrence, who both produced and acted in &#8220;Causeway,&#8221; weighed in on that as well.
&#8220;It was just so interesting to be on a female-led movie. My producing partner and I were the lead producers. We had a female director [Lila Neugebauer],&#8221; she said. &#8220;The schedule made sense. There were no huge fights. If an actor had a personal thing and wanted to leave early, instead of going, &#8216;Oh! Well, we’d all love to leave early!&#8217; we’d put our heads together and go, &#8216;OK. How can we figure this out?'&#8221;
Lawrence went on to say that she didn&#8217;t mean to suggest that everyone agreed on every little thing — only that she believed disagreements were addressed in a more productive fashion when women were leading the discussion.
&#8220;We disagreed, and we listened to each other. Sometimes I was wrong and would learn that I was wrong, and sometimes I was right. It was incredible to not be around toxic masculinity. To get a little break from it,&#8221; she said. &#8220;And it did always just make us laugh about how we ended up with, &#8216;Women shouldn’t be in roles like this because we’re so emotional.&#8217; I mean, I’ve worked with Bryan Singer. I’ve seen emotional men. I’ve seen the biggest hissy fits thrown on set. [Neugebauer’s] my third female director, and they are the calmest, best decision-makers I’ve ever worked with. I absolutely love working with female directors.&#8221;

&#8220;That&#8217;s certainly not what I meant to say at all,&#8221; Lawrence explained. &#8220;I know that I am not the only woman who has ever led an action film. What I meant to emphasize was how good it feels.&#8221;
&#8220;And I meant that with Viola [Davis]— to blow past these old myths that you hear about … about the chatter that you would hear around that kind of thing,&#8221; she added. &#8220;But it was my blunder and it came out wrong. I had nerves talking to a living legend.&#8221;

Not long after, people noticed that Variety had deleted the tweet that included Lawrence&#8217;s false claim.

For as far back as the 1980s, many women have landed action hero lead roles, such as sci-fi action heroes like Linda Hamilton in the monster 1984 hit &#8220;The Terminator,&#8221; and Sigourney Weaver in &#8220;Aliens&#8221; in 1986.
There were also female action stars like Bridget Fonda in 1993&#8217;s &#8220;Point of No Return,&#8221; and Geena Davis in &#8220;The Long Kiss Goodnight&#8221; in 1996. Not to mention actresses such as Angelina Jolie in 2001&#8217;s &#8220;Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,&#8221; Uma Thurman in &#8220;Kill Bill: Volume 1&#8221; in 2003, and Milla Jovovich in &#8220;Resident Evil&#8221; that same year.
At one point in the interview, Lawrence also discussed how her career has changed since becoming a mother while making her new movie &#8220;Causeway.&#8221;
&#8220;I made the movie right before I got married,&#8221; the actress shared. &#8220;And then we had the pandemic. Two years later, I&#8217;m pregnant, we go back, and we make the rest of it. It was the scariest thing in the entire world to think about making a family. What if I f*** up? What if I can&#8217;t do it? And I was so scared that I would f*** it up. And it was so interesting to make a movie where I&#8217;m feeling so scared and feeling this mirrored in Lynsey.&#8221;

Remember Jennifer Lawrence?
No, not the 32-year-old star of AppleTV+’s “Causeway,” another Oscar-bait film released during awards season.
We know all about her.
We mean the young star of “Winter’s Bone,” the indie drama that made her a star at the ripe old age of 20. She dazzled, again, in 2012’s “Silver Linings Playbook,” netting a Best Actress Oscar for her performance.
And, famously<a href="https://people.com/movies/jennifer-lawrence-confronted-anderson-cooper-after-he-claimed-she-faked-her-viral-oscars-fall/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">, she took a spill</a> while en route to the Oscars podium in 2013 to collect her trophy.
The Kentucky native’s interviews gave audiences the impression she was just a heartland gal whose beauty and talent forged her ticket to Hollywood. She earned another Oscar nomination a year later for “American Hustle,” and her star status came with a certificate of authenticity.
Would fame and fortune change Lawrence, dubbed in select press circles <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/features/jennifer-lawrence-netflix-america-s-sweetheart-upcoming-films-career-hunger-games-a9547846.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">“America’s Sweetheart”</a> for her aw-shucks appeal (she once played on her school’s all-boy basketball squad)? Or might the industry’s hard-Left status make her into yet another progressive star weighing in on the latest Beltway shenanigans?
The actress who once said she didn’t “<a href="https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2021/11/jennifer-lawrence-on-love-fame-boundaries-and-dont-look-up" target="_blank" rel="noopener">want to be a douchebag</a>” took a nastier turn once a certain real estate mogul took an infamous escalator ride in 2015.
Lawrence reacted to Donald Trump’s presidential run as aggressively as any of her peers. She vowed <a href="https://time.com/5053969/jennifer-lawrence-trump-oprah/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">to throw a martini</a> in the mogul’s face if their paths ever crossed.
This “Sweetheart” sounded just like her peers. Slowly, Lawrence <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/politics-are-killing-people-jennifer-lawrence-said-shes-feuding-with-conservative-family-over-abortion-gun-control" target="_blank" rel="noopener">leaned into her progressive beliefs</a> but took matters one step further.
She started throwing people under the bus. And it started, naturally, with the GOP.
In 2021 <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/jennifer-lawrence-radical-wing-republicans-voting-restrictions-psa" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lawrence aligned with the group RepresentUs</a> to push the so-called For the People Act targeting voting rules.
<blockquote>Whatever your personal politics are, whatever side of the aisle you find yourself on, you need to know that your vote matters and the outcome of our elections are not maneuvered and manipulated. In Texas, Georgia and Florida and 44 other states, there’s a radical wing of the Republican Party that is actively dismantling America’s right to vote because they don’t have the numbers to win otherwise.</blockquote>
In her 2022 Vogue interview she attacked Republican voters, again, but this time they had company — <a href="https://www.vogue.com/article/jennifer-lawrence-october-cover-2022-interview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the actress’ parents</a>.
<blockquote>I just worked so hard in the last five years to forgive my dad and my family and try to understand: It’s different. The information they are getting is different. Their life is different… I’ve tried to get over it and I really can’t. I can’t. I’m sorry I’m just unleashing, but I can’t f*** with people who aren’t political anymore. You live in the United States of America. You have to be political. It’s too dire. Politics are killing people.</blockquote>
She doubled down on her parents in a separate interview, courtesy of Vanity Fair. She uses MSNBC-style verbiage to attack family members for <a href="https://archive.vanityfair.com/article/2021/12/01/a-happy-new-year?utm_brand=vf&amp;utm_social-type=owned&amp;mbid=social_twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">being part of MAGA nation</a>.
<blockquote>It’s wild to disagree on things you thought you would never…there’s no way we’re going to disagree on this in 2021. White supremacy. Attacking the Capitol. Nazis being the bad guys. Or just, science. I don’t know.</blockquote>
To be clear, the Oscar winner just suggested her parents support the January 6 riot, Nazism and white supremacy. Those labels are commonplace in far-Left circles, but they’re usually applied to generic, faceless Republicans by rhetorical bomb throwers on MSNBC.
Lawrence puts a very familiar face on those accusations. Her parents’ faces.
Now, those tribal battles are happening across America, sadly. Most people don’t have access to glossy magazine features to spill their personal dirt, though. And, if they did, they’d likely keep such skirmishes to themselves.
Not Lawrence, apparently. She’s not done with trashing things, though. More recently she’s targeted her own IMDB.com page.
She shares a story about a <a href="https://variety.com/2022/film/news/jennifer-lawrence-adele-warned-passengers-flop-1235420909/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">famous singer cautioning her against making “Passengers,</a>” a sci-fi disappointment from 2016 co-starring Chris Pratt.
<blockquote>Adele told me not to do it! She was like, “I feel like space movies are the new vampire movies.” I should have listened to her.</blockquote>
It’s worth noting actors are reticent to trash their own films, with rare exceptions like George Clooney repeatedly mocking his own contributions to 1997’s flop “Batman &amp; Robin.” It can burn bridges with collaborators, for starters. It’s also insulting to the cast and crew, all of whom assembled in a good faith effort to make a fine movie. (It just doesn’t always turn out that way).
Here’s betting Pratt is less than eager to reteam with Lawrence moving forward.
The actress recently <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/jennifer-lawrence-passengers-regrets-parted-with-caa-1235254027/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">piled on her former talent agency</a>, CAA, charging it didn’t send personal-sized projects her way.
<blockquote>I found out that a lot of filmmakers that I really loved and admired had scripts that weren’t even reaching me.</blockquote>
Now, she vows to eschew big-budget productions in order to shoot the films she wants to appear in. Smaller. More passion-based. Of course, should her box office fortunes wane she might beg to star in an MCU movie or “Hunger Games” spinoff.
Will she throw herself under the bus in that case?
Lawrence went from a talented, fresh-faced starlet to a star regretful of her fame and eager to publicly trash her own family during puff-piece magazine profiles.
Imagine how she’ll spend the rest of her 30s.

‘You Have To Be Political’: Why Jennifer Lawrence Is Throwing Everyone Under The Bus

Remember when Marlon Brando sent Native American Sacheen Littlefeather to decline his Oscar for “The Godfather?” How about when Michael Moore used his Best Documentary Oscar speech to blast President George W. Bush in 2003?
That was just a taste of the New Normal. Today’s stars are hyper-political, almost always in unison with the progressive playbook. They vent on social media, in magazine profiles, and, of course, from awards show stages.
A few stars go beyond those virtue signals. They seemingly live and breathe political banter, using every opportunity to rage against the GOP. And you can blame some, if not most, of it on a certain real estate mogul.
<h3>Rob Reiner </h3>
The man affectionately known as Meathead from “All in the Family” became one of Hollywood’s best directors after leaving the CBS sitcom.
“This Is Spinal Tap.” “Stand By Me.” “The Princess Bride.” “Misery.” “A Few Good Men.” “When Harry Met Sally.”
Few modern directors can match that resume.
These days, he directs flops (“Shock and Awe;” “And So It Goes”) in between having raging fits against former President Donald Trump on every platform possible. His most embarrassing moment? He used the death of his father, comedy icon Carl Reiner, <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/rob-reiner-father-hoped-live-205216941.html">to target Trump</a>.
His August appearance on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” found him <a href="https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2022/08/29/maher_media_buried_the_hunter_biden_story_because_they_couldnt_risk_having_trump_win_the_election.html">unable to answer a direct question</a> from the affable host about the media burying the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. He couldn’t abandon his progressive talking points and looked foolish in the process.
His next project could, in theory, put an end to his cinematic cold streak. He’s directing a sequel to the classic mockumentary “This Is Spinal Tap.” Will his Trump derangement enter the frame? Would anyone bet against it?
<h3>Chelsea Handler</h3>
The former E! superstar left the channel to join Netflix’s team, but she eventually decided to become a full-time activist. Why? Politics gnawed at her, and she figured she’d be more effective as an activist than a talk show host.
Or, perhaps, her Netflix series drew terrible ratings, and she left before she got canned.
Either way, she’s transformed her shtick from bawdy blasts from her boudoir to lectures about so-called <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/chelsea-handler-donald-trump-white-privilege_n_5d8301e8e4b0957256b11476">white privilege</a>. She even said white males are the <a href="https://www.hollywoodintoto.com/chelsea-handler-white-men-woke-comedy/">only “approved” target</a> for comedians today.
She did much more than overhaul her act, though. She sauntered in several women’s marches, ignored politicians accused of sexual misconduct if they had a “D” in front of their names, and demanded racially-charged jokes become illegal in the U.S. &#8211; while ignoring <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/chelsea-handler-ripped-hypocrite-condemning-jokes-racism-153019877.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall">her own “criminal” past</a> on the matter.
In between political broadsides, Handler discusses the progress <a href="https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/chelsea-handler-47-says-therapy-gave-her-the-self-awareness-she-needed-to-fall-in-love-with-jo-koy-145856232.html">she’s made in therapy</a> following the Trump era.
<h3>Ron Perlman</h3>
The character actor landed the role of a lifetime as Clay, the head of the “Sons of Anarchy” motorcycle club. That FX series showcased Perlman’s range and ability to project anger on screen.
Over and again.
We’ve gotten a taste of that off-screen, too, ever since Trump took office. Perlman became obsessed with the 45th president, turning his Twitter feed into a round-the-clock, anti-Trump showcase.
His most embarrassing Tweet? He said he’d <a href="https://www.hollywoodintoto.com/ron-perlman-trump-twitter-resistance/">risk death to dethrone Trump.</a>
Perlman never stops working – his IMDB page is chock-full of soon-to-be released titles. His political fires still burn, however, despite a new president inhabiting the White House. Trump Derangement is a permanent part of his psyche, alas, and chances are his TV is permanently set to MSNBC.
<h3>Alyssa Milano</h3>
The 40-something actress landed not one but two beloved shows – “Who’s the Boss” and “Charmed.” These days, she’s more activist than actor. Her podcast, “Sorry, Not Sorry,” lets her weigh in on the latest political headlines, and she’s equally vocal with social media, particularly her 3.6 million strong Twitter account.
Her cause celebre? Women’s rights … except when they overlap with her progressive pals. She became one of Hollywood’s #MeToo warriors, but she initially laid low when former Biden staffer Tara Reade accused the now-president of sexually molesting her in 1993.
Milano finally commented on the ugly charge, saying her “Believe All Women” mantra came with an asterisk.
She similarly softened her hard-charging approach when 11 women charged New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo of sexually inappropriate behavior as well as when the group Time’s Up, which was established to protect women, couldn’t rally on their behalf.
Fellow “Charmed” alum <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/rose-mcgowan-slams-alyssa-milano-joe-biden-times-up-ceo-cuomo-sex-scandal">Rose McGowan called Milano’s blazing hypocrisy</a> out on the matter, &#8220;Milano, TimesUp, fake performatives and profiteers. Alyssa&#8217;s statement at the time was gaslighting in full effect. She said of my truth telling ‘Hurt people hurt people.’ No, Alyssa, it&#8217;s lizard people like you, SDK Knickerbocker, Gov Cuomo, the Pres, Tina Chen who hurt people. Your time is up. Exit stage left.”

What’s a sure sign you’ve let politics get the best of you? You throw your immediate family under the bus in a fawning magazine profile.
That’s exactly what this “Hunger Games” star did when talking up her next movie at Vogue Magazine. Lawrence said she tried and tried to forgive her right-leaning family for not aligning with her progressive views.

Schumer took a page out of Handler’s woke playbook in transforming her once-blazing career. Now, her movies do little damage at the box office, and she’s relegated to small screen gigs like “Life &amp; Beth,” which barely moved the pop culture needle.
Why? She used her “Inside Amy Schumer” showcase to promote <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/amy-schumer-drops-new-anti-gun-sketch-chase-stephens">progressive causes like gun control</a>, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/amy-schumer-protesting-nfl-says-she-wont-do-any-emily-zanotti">got herself arrested</a> for protesting Supreme Court justices under the flimsiest of sex abuse allegations, and then boycotted the NFL for not employing failed quarterback Colin Kaepernick. She essentially cut her potential audience in half with her hard-left politics, and she’s no longer the industry’s go-to comedienne.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/ben-shapiro" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ben Shapiro</a> tipped his cap to fellow conservative <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/tucker-carlson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tucker Carlson</a> Wednesday after learning the Fox News host has landed a starring role … in the nightmares of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/politics-are-killing-people-jennifer-lawrence-said-shes-feuding-with-conservative-family-over-abortion-gun-control" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood Leftist Jennifer Lawrence</a>.
The Kentucky-born actress told <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/politics-are-killing-people-jennifer-lawrence-said-shes-feuding-with-conservative-family-over-abortion-gun-control">Vogue</a> in a months-old interview published this week about how she fights over politics with her flyover family, railed about the overturning of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/roe-v-wade" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roe v. Wade</a>, and divulged that her political awakening came courtesy of a sitcom. The unburdening came as Lawrence and interviewer Abby Aguirre got spa treatments, and included the revelation that Lawrence told her therapist she had nightmares about Carlson.
“I&#8217;m a little jealous,” Shapiro quipped on his daily podcast of “The Ben Shapiro Show,” as he skimmed through the article in the members-only hour of his show.  “I&#8217;ll be honest with you, when Jennifer Lawrence is having nightmares about you, that&#8217;s kind of amazing. Like, good for Tucker. Seriously living, literally living rent free in Jennifer Lawrence&#8217;s head. That&#8217;s amazing stuff.”
After Lawrence and Aguirre got a treatment called “Korean body scrubs,” the subject turned to the baby she had in February with her husband, described in the interview as “the art gallerist Cooke Maroney.” Lawrence had brought her breast pump to the spa in what Aguirre celebrated as a selfless act of motherhood.

“I love all these pieces because they really are the most obnoxious people talking about the most obnoxious people, about the most obnoxious topics,” Shapiro said. “It&#8217;s incredible. It&#8217;s like an infinite, regress of obnoxiousness.”
After the spa treatment, the two repaired to an outdoor dining area to enjoy some white wine, which some breast-feeding mothers avoid. Lawrence warned her interviewer she was “in a mood.”
“Well, not a bad mood exactly, but a consistently emotional one brought on by the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe versus Wade a few days earlier,” Aguirre wrote. “Much of her disappointment was directed at certain relatives back in Louisville, Kentucky, where she&#8217;d grown up, including her father.”
Lawrence, complaining about her family’s differing world view, claimed that all people “have to be political. It’s too dire. “Politics are killing people.”
“Okay, so I&#8217;d like everybody to remember this,” Shapiro said. “Next time Jennifer Lawrence asks you to go to one of her movies. She hates your guts, okay? If you are on the other side of the political aisle, everything is political, every single thing. You can&#8217;t go to a movie to just enjoy a movie. It&#8217;s too dire, guys. You are too dire.”
Lawrence told Aguirre she had thought of herself as a Republican while growing up, but it all changed when she was 16 and saw an episode of the NBC show “30 Rock” and heard Tina Fey’s Liz Lemon character say something like, “I&#8217;m not a crazy liberal. I just think people should drive hybrid cars.”
That, Lawrence told Aguirre, is when she came of age politically and rejected her conservative family’s values.
“That is the way that I decide my politics,” Shapiro said, channeling Lawrence. “I watch written characters by Tina Fey on a sitcom. These are deep thoughts here from Jennifer Lawrence, who has nightmares about Tucker Carlson. She literally says that Liz Lemon on 30 Rock defined her politics.”
