A year in the political wilderness has united Democrats in their hatred of President Trump’s policies. From the ICE raids to the tariffs to the supposed “cover-up” of the Epstein files — a strange “cover-up” indeed, as it involved President Trump arresting Jeffrey Epstein and co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell and then carrying out the single largest declassification in American history.
No matter the facts, Democrats hate what President Trump has done. They screech their displeasure from headshot boxes on cable news to the streets of Minneapolis. Yet ask Democrats what they would do instead, and they fall mute. I learned this from my debate with the crown prince of young Democrat commentary, Harry Sisson, and his fellow traveler Chris Mowrey in the latest episode of Bar Fight.
Neither presidents Barack Obama nor Joe Biden focused a moment’s thought on Jeffrey Epstein; President Trump alone has taken proactive measures to bring justice in the case. Nonetheless, the young Democrats Sisson and Mowrey object to Trump’s handling of it. What would they do? Who would they prosecute? They can’t quite say.
Trump’s tariffs have wreaked havoc on the economy, the young Democrats claim, amid all-time stock-market highs, real wage gains, month-over-month rent price declines, low unemployment, low inflation, and a GDP that keeps beating expectations. Okay. What sort of policies would they have him pursue instead? What economic ends do they even desire? Free trade or reindustrialization? Real wage growth or mass migration? Bueller? Bueller?
The ICE raids somehow threaten our democracy, which one recalls voted for those very same raids fourteen months ago. All right. Whatever their objection to the raids, do the young Democrats at least agree that the illegal aliens must go? Yes? Or, well, no. Maybe? Harry had the good sense to change the subject, while his friend Chris simply refused to answer—a predictable evasion for which Harry still owes me twenty bucks.
Democrats are poised to make major gains in the midterm elections. They’ve honed their complaints. The only thing they lack is a sense of what they want to do instead.

There is an interesting development in the Epstein case and it comes from CBS News.
The official accounts about who did or did not enter Epstein&#8217;s jail cell on the night of his death have been contradicted a myriad of times. 
If you’ll recall, we were first told there were cameras on Epstein’s jail cell and on his floor, but that they weren’t working, so there was no footage to release. Later, officials released closed-circuit footage from the night of his death and claimed it was uninterrupted. Shortly afterward, we were told that a minute of the video was missing. That missing minute was eventually restored, and we were assured the footage was original — despite clear signs it had been edited using video software.
So what&#8217;s the latest? Well, newly released video logs appear to contradict official accounts.
This is from <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/epstein-files-jail-cell-death-video-logs/?ftag=CNM-00-10aab7e&amp;linkId=903657594">CBS News</a>:

I love the way they&#8217;re describing it: &#8220;An orange-colored shape.&#8221;
 So some people, probably on the Left, are imagining that this is just Trump himself. Yes, a vaguely mango-colored, you know, blond-haired, had a very nice Brioni suit on with a slightly too-long red tie.
Or no, that would be the live version of what we on the Right all imagine.
What is probably meant is that the person is wearing an orange jumpsuit, or maybe carrying something orange.
This isn&#8217;t particularly new information. I was covering Epstein months and months ago when some of this footage came out, and we noticed the strange figures that were moving around. Okay, now we can zoom in, and we see this weird orange figure. 
CBS <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/epstein-files-jail-cell-death-video-logs/?ftag=CNM-00-10aab7e&amp;linkId=903657594">goes on</a>:
<blockquote>Thomas told investigators he discovered Epstein in his cell shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Aug.10 and that he &#8220;ripped&#8221; Epstein down from the hanging position.
Investigators asked what happened to the noose. 
&#8220;I don&#8217;t recall taking the noose off. I really don&#8217;t,&#8221; he replied. &#8220;I don&#8217;t recall taking the thing from around his neck.&#8221;</blockquote>
That&#8217;s a little weird, right?
I guess what you could say is it&#8217;s always shocking to see a dead body, but it was especially shocking here. This is one of the most wanted, talked-about criminals in all of America, in all of the world and you find him dead in his cell, and maybe, who knows, your hormones are spiking. You have a surge of adrenaline, you&#8217;re shocked, you&#8217;re sick, and you forget. Maybe he just forgot.
It gets weirder.
<blockquote>Noel, who remained standing at the cell entrance, told investigators she saw Thomas lower Epstein to the floor but did not see a noose around his neck.</blockquote>
Hold on. 
So now it&#8217;s not just the guy who discovers Epstein and takes him down. It&#8217;s also the observer standing a little bit further back. 
<blockquote>The noose Epstein allegedly used has never been definitively identified. According to the inspector general&#8217;s report, a noose collected at the scene was later determined not to be the ligature used in Epstein&#8217;s death.</blockquote>
The guy who took him down never saw the noose.
The lady watching him take him down never saw a noose.
And investigators never even found the noose.
Add on at least one medical examiner saying that the breaks in his neck were more consistent with strangulation than with hanging.

Everyone is focusing on the aspects of his life — Epstein had a connection to Russia; he had a connection to Israel; he had a connection to the CIA, and so on.
Some of the accounts actually contradict each other. Was he a super spy? Was he just a sex-freak rich guy? Was he really trafficking women? Was he really trading secrets? Was he really dealing with the Arabs and the Israelis, or was it the Russians or the Americans, or was it the British?
You’ve got to put that aside for a second. We now have every theory covered. Yes, we’ve connected him to every country on earth, every intelligence agency, every vice. And that’s not getting us anywhere.
If you want to get to the heart of the Epstein story, the first thing you have to ascertain is the end of the story, not how the story begins.
Not a lot of people want to focus on how a guy who dropped out of college ended up becoming a math teacher, who was hired by Bill Barr’s father at The Dalton School, but then became some kind of trader at Bear Stearns? How? He then went on to become the money manager for Les Wexner, where he said he would only have clients who were investing over $1 billion.
And then he worked with intelligence agencies.
And then he helped this sheikh in Arabia.
And then he — 
Don’t look at the beginning of the story. That is going to lead you down a billion different trails, especially with a guy who seemed to be connected to every powerful person on earth.
I think you have to start at the end of the story. 
And curious, isn’t it, that the shadiest part, the part that has been most covered up, that has been most contradicted, is not found at the beginning of the story. No one is asking, &#8220;Did Epstein work at Bear Stearns?&#8221; &#8220;Did Epstein know Ghislaine Maxwell?&#8221; &#8220;Did Epstein pal around with Bill?&#8221; It’s none of that.
The part that has been most assiduously covered up is the end of the story.
How did he die?
Who killed him?
Why don’t we have the noose?
That’s it. I don’t think we’re going to get an answer on it. And that&#8217;s been my consistent position from the beginning. Either Epstein is who they say he is, in which case we know everything about him, or he’s something more, in which case we know everything we’re ever going to know, because they’re not going to let it out. 
But if we could ascertain who killed him, that would help us to answer: why was he killed? That would help us to answer what purpose he primarily served in world politics. That would help us to answer who, chiefly, he was working for.
That would help us to answer what the Epstein operation was really about.
But the only way you’re going to get those big answers is by going backward. You’re not going to get it by going forward.
Now we’re getting some little, little tasty hints — but nothing definitive.
And if you want me to put some money on the table, I don’t think we’re going to get much more than that.

Former Secretary of State and first lady Hillary Clinton on Thursday requested that her and former President Bill Clinton&#8217;s Jeffrey Epstein-related testimonies be public and on camera.
Clinton, who, along with her husband, finally agreed to appear for depositions before the House Oversight Committee later this month, accused House Republicans of playing &#8220;games&#8221; when they issued subpoenas for the Clintons to testify on their relationship with the late convicted sex offender. The House Oversight Committee is investigating the crimes committed by Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell as the Justice Department continues to release millions of documents from the case.
&#8220;For six months, we engaged Republicans on the Oversight Committee in good faith. We told them what we know, under oath,&#8221; Clinton <a href="https://x.com/HillaryClinton/status/2019394857312399796">said</a>. &#8220;They ignored all of it. They moved the goalposts and turned accountability into an exercise in distraction.&#8221;
&#8220;So let’s stop the games,&#8221; she added. &#8220;If you want this fight, [Rep. James Comer (R-KY)], let’s have it—in public. You love to talk about transparency. There’s nothing more transparent than a public hearing, cameras on. We will be there.&#8221;
Comer <a href="https://x.com/bennyjohnson/status/2019449373860544596">responded</a> to Clinton&#8217;s request and told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson that the testimonies &#8220;will be public&#8221; since the committee will release the transcripts, as well as audio and video. The depositions are scheduled to be recorded, with the recordings and transcripts released later, but Comer suggested that the committee is considering live-streaming the hearings.
&#8220;We hadn&#8217;t planned on it being live, but we&#8217;re seeing the legality of that, and it&#8217;s never been done before,&#8221; Comer said.
Earlier this week, the Clintons agreed to appear for depositions as the House was preparing to vote to hold the Democrats in contempt of Congress. The Clintons did not appear for their scheduled depositions last month, sparking outrage from Republican lawmakers who quickly began contempt proceedings.
Last week, nine Democrats joined with all Republicans on the House Oversight Committee to hold former President Bill Clinton in contempt, and three Democrats voted with Republicans to hold Hillary Clinton in contempt. The full House vote on holding the Democratic couple in contempt was expected to take place on Wednesday, but on Monday, the Clintons changed course and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/clintons-cave-agree-to-testify-in-house-epstein-investigation">agreed</a> to appear for their depositions.
Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear before the Oversight Committee on February 26, while Bill Clinton is set to testify on February 27. Oversight Committee Chairman Comer <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/release/chairman-comer-announces-the-clintons-caved-will-appear-for-depositions/">said</a> the Clintons &#8220;completely caved&#8221; after &#8220;it became clear that the House of Representatives would hold them in contempt.&#8221;
&#8220;We look forward to questioning the Clintons as part of our investigation into the horrific crimes of Epstein and Maxwell, to deliver transparency and accountability for the American people and for survivors,&#8221; Comer added.
The Clintons have not been accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein&#8217;s sex crimes. Bill Clinton was a friend of Epstein&#8217;s in the early 2000s, traveling with the financier numerous times on Epstein&#8217;s plane, which was used for sex trafficking. The former president was also seen in a picture getting a back massage from Chauntae Davies, one of Epstein&#8217;s accusers. None of Epstein&#8217;s victims has accused Bill Clinton of any wrongdoing.
The Clintons have argued that they &#8220;already provided the limited information they possess about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell&#8221; in sworn statements they sent to the Oversight Committee. Comer, however, said that the Clintons need to answer questions under oath.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is under mounting pressure after acknowledging that he knew of ties between his former U.S. Ambassador, Lord Peter Mandelson, and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein before appointing Mandelson to the post.
Starmer’s admission has triggered backlash from across the British political spectrum, forced a partial reversal on the release of government documents, and raised fresh questions about the vetting process behind one of the United Kingdom’s most sensitive diplomatic appointments.
At Prime Minister’s Questions this week, Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch pressed Starmer on whether official security vetting had flagged Mandelson’s continued association with Epstein after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor. “Yes it did,” Starmer replied, confirming that the relationship had been reviewed and that “various questions were put to him” during the appointment process.
Starmer, however, claimed he was unaware of what he described as the “sheer depth and the extent” of Mandelson’s ties to Epstein, accusing the former Labour power broker of lying repeatedly about the relationship. Starmer told Parliament, “He lied about that to everyone for years. When the new information came to light, I sacked him.&#8221;
Mandelson, a political appointee rather than a career diplomat, was removed from his role as ambassador to Washington in September following the release of new material tied to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Epstein files. Those documents appear to show Mandelson sharing potentially market-sensitive information with Epstein during the 2008 financial crisis, when Mandelson was serving as business secretary in Gordon Brown’s government.
The relationship between Mandelson and Epstein, including Mandelson’s stays at Epstein’s residences after the conviction, had been reported publicly prior to Mandelson’s 2024 appointment. Starmer acknowledged that some of those details were known to Downing Street and reviewed during due diligence and security vetting.
“What was not known was the depth and extent,” Starmer repeated.
The controversy has escalated beyond partisan criticism, with Labour MPs, led by former deputy leader Angela Rayner, pushing back against Starmer’s initial plan to allow the Cabinet Secretary to determine which appointment documents could be withheld on national security grounds.
Under pressure from his own party, Starmer agreed instead to allow Parliament’s Intelligence and Security Committee to oversee decisions on what material can be released, a move widely seen as an attempt to calm the waters amid growing unrest on Labour’s back benches.
The Conservative Party has tabled a “humble address” motion in the House of Commons, a rarely used parliamentary tactic designed to compel the government to release internal documents. The motion seeks disclosure of vetting materials and communications involving Mandelson and the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff, Morgan McSweeney, a close Mandelson ally who remains under scrutiny.
Liberal Democrat leader Sir Ed Davey has also called for a public inquiry, pressing Starmer on whether he considered Epstein’s victims when appointing Mandelson to such a senior role.
Lord Mandelson has resigned from the Labour Party and stepped down from the House of Lords. Starmer has announced plans to introduce legislation to prevent Mandelson from retaining his peerage title and confirmed that Mandelson has been stripped of his status as a Privy Counsellor with the consent of King Charles.
Mandelson has reportedly argued that he sought Epstein’s financial expertise in what he believed to be the national interest. Starmer, however, offered an unusually blunt condemnation of his former ally, saying, “Mandelson betrayed our country, our Parliament, and my party. If I knew then what I know now, he would never have been anywhere near government.”
Documents relating to Mandelson’s appointment are expected to be released later today, with material referred to police as part of an ongoing investigation.

When the Justice Department released the latest batch of Epstein <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/justice-department-releases-millions-more-epstein-files" target="_blank" rel="noopener">documents</a>, I didn’t read them like a political junkie or a conspiracy sleuth. I read them like a father.
While commentators argue over names and timelines, my kids are learning something far more important: what America rewards in men, what it excuses, and what it quietly tolerates when power is involved. The lesson is ugly.
Strip away the sensationalism, and one reality stands out: This was a scandal almost entirely driven by men. These men were powerful, successful, and even married. They had children, platforms, influence, and every reason to know better.
What the Epstein documents really expose isn’t just corruption or crime. They expose a collapse in male self-government, and that collapse doesn’t stay contained at the top. It trickles down.
I have sons. I coach youth sports. I sit in dugouts tying cleats and listening to boys talk before they’ve learned how to filter themselves. And I can tell you this: Young men are desperate for clarity. They are constantly scanning the world for cues about what manhood actually means. What they’re being shown right now is poison.
They see men at the highest levels of society who preach intelligence, leadership, and sophistication while privately living like entitled boys. These men treat marriage as ornamental, fidelity as optional, and women as consumables. To them, accountability is something for lesser people.
If you want to know why so many young men are cynical about commitment, look no further. The message couldn’t be clearer: Success buys indulgence, power bends rules, and discipline is for men without leverage. That’s not masculinity. That’s moral anarchy.
Real masculinity has always been rooted in restraint, in self-command, and in the ability to say “no” when saying “yes” would be easy, pleasurable, and unlikely to bring consequences. Every culture that survived understood this. Boys became men not by indulging appetite, but by mastering it. Strength wasn’t measured by conquest, but by responsibility. Authority was paired with obligation.
Somewhere along the way, we replaced that vision with something hollow. Today, male excess is explained rather than condemned. Cheating is framed as temptation instead of betrayal. Sexual misconduct is “complicated.” Men who fail morally are treated as tragic figures rather than accountable ones.
When those men are powerful enough, the system rushes in to cushion the fall. The Epstein documents confirm what parents already fear: Elite men are often insulated from the standards they publicly demand from everyone else.
And kids notice. They don’t think in terms of legal nuance or sealed records. They think in terms of patterns: who gets punished, who gets protected, who gets forgiven, and who gets erased. The pattern they’re seeing is corrosive.
Ideas are no longer coming from parents. They are coming from culture, and culture is being shaped in part by exactly the kinds of men exposed in these documents. This is how a crisis of masculinity forms — not overnight, but drip by drip. Boys are taught that desire is destiny and discipline is repression. Men in positions of authority model indulgence instead of honor. Consequences disappear for the powerful and multiply for the ordinary. Then we act shocked when young men delay marriage, distrust institutions, and treat adulthood like a suggestion instead of a calling.
The Epstein documents don’t just reveal wrongdoing. They reveal what happens when men stop seeing themselves as stewards — of their families, their influence, and their responsibilities — and start seeing themselves as entitled consumers. That’s not liberation. It’s decay.
As a father, I don’t want my sons growing up believing masculinity is defined by appetite. I want them to know that real strength is the ability to govern yourself when no one is watching. Leadership without accountability is corruption, power without virtue is dangerous, and no amount of success excuses dishonor.
The Epstein documents make it painfully clear that when men fail to hold themselves to high standards, the damage spreads far beyond their own lives. Families fracture, trust erodes, cynicism grows, and the next generation learns the wrong lesson. This isn’t about moral grandstanding or pretending men are perfect. It’s about refusing to normalize male collapse.
If we want better men tomorrow, we need to tell the truth today. We need to stop excusing behavior simply because it’s common among elites. We need to stop confusing sophistication with virtue and access with worth.
The Epstein documents don’t just raise the question of who was involved. They ask who we’re becoming and whether we’re finally willing to teach our sons that manhood isn’t about what you can get away with, but what you choose not to do.
If we fail at that, then the next scandal won’t be a surprise. It will be the inheritance we handed them.

Dr. Jess Ting, the head of transgender medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, brought his girlfriend and her three children to Jeffrey Epstein&#8217;s private Caribbean island years after his criminal conviction on sex crimes, emails show.
Ting, who specializes in crafting fake vaginas for gender-confused males, cultivated a personal and professional relationship with Epstein for years, according to emails released by the Justice Department on Friday.
In 2013, Ting visited Epstein’s island with his family — a trip upon which Epstein’s assistant told the doctor that he was welcome to come play with Epstein&#8217;s &#8220;toys.&#8221; Ting in 2015 offered to let Epstein vet his answers to a reporter about the sex offender’s philanthropy, which included funding for Ting’s research.
Neither Mount Sinai nor Ting responded to multiple requests for comment from The Daily Wire. Ting <a href="https://www.advocate.com/news/jeffrey-epstein-jess-ting-responds">confirmed</a> the visit to the island on Monday night in a written message to The Advocate, an LGBT activist outlet. Ting has not been accused of any criminal misconduct.
“I came to know Jeffrey Epstein in my professional capacity as a general plastic surgeon about 10+ years ago,” Ting told the publication. “I remember reading news reports about his being charged with sex crimes, but I don’t recall if that was before or after I treated any of the patients referred by his office.” 
Ting <a href="https://wng.org/roundups/plastic-surgeons-dissent-from-pro-trans-trend-with-minors-1725647038">became famous</a> for helping create a pseudo-vagina for then-17-year-old Jazz Jennings, a gender-confused male who was pushed by the media as one of the first transgender-identifying children. This saga played out tragically to millions of Americans in the TLC show &#8220;I Am Jazz.&#8221; 
The <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA02144751.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-sk="tooltip_parent">emails show</a> that Ting was invited to have lunch and play with Epstein&#8217;s &#8220;toys&#8221; on March 14, 2013, to Little Saint James, a private island owned by Epstein, where accusers say he sex trafficked women and young girls. That invitation came just a few years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting prostitution and soliciting prostitution from someone under the age of 18.
The invite was sent two days after Ting <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA02146827.pdf">was added</a> to Epstein’s email directory by his assistant, Lesley Groff. Groff has denied all wrongdoing and has said she was shocked by the allegations against Epstein.
“Hello Dr. Ting. Jeffrey would like you to enjoy a day on his island during your vacation! We can have you and your family picked up from St. John on what ever day is convenient for you, brought to Jeffrey&#8217;s island to play with his &#8216;toys&#8217; and have some lunch,” an assistant of Epstein wrote. “Please let us know what day would work and they can take it from there!”

Just seven minutes after the initial invitation, Ting responded to confirm the visit. 
“That is incredibly generous of Jeffrey!! I will get back to you shortly about timing,” Ting wrote. 
On March 18, 2013, Ting <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA02145116.pdf">was asked</a> by one of Epstein’s associates what day would work to visit the island. 
“Just checking in to see if a certain day would work for you to have some fun on Jeffrey&#8217;s island! Let us know,” the person wrote. 
Epstein’s assistant later <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2011/EFTA02567812.pdf">emailed</a> him to let him know that Ting, his girlfriend, Michelle, her three kids, and two nannies would be visiting the island. “Dr. Ting is thrilled and thanks you so much,” the assistant wrote. 
Ting claimed to The Advocate that the “toys” mentioned in the initial invite were jet skis and sailboats. 
&#8220;I was vacationing in St. John with my then-girlfriend, and he invited me to his island. He wasn’t there at the time, and the only people who were there at the time were his staff,” he said. 
Just a few days after the island visit, Ting was invited over to Epstein’s Manhattan home. 
“Hello Dr. Ting. I hope you had a nice visit to Jeffrey&#8217;s island last Friday. Jeffrey is asking if you could come see him at his home,” Epstein’s assistant <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA02143161.pdf">wrote</a> on March 25, 2013. That visit appeared to happen on April 3, 2013, after Ting confirmed that he could go over to Epstein’s house at 10:00 p.m.
On April 13, 2013, it was <a href="https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/jeffrey-epstein-new-york-philanthropist-funds-pioneering-cancer-metastasis-research-at-mount-sinai-202850511.html">announced</a> that Epstein was funding Ting’s research at Mount Sinai on cancer metastasis. 
During a subsequent visit to Epstein’s home on May 3, Ting <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%209/EFTA00390966.pdf">was told</a> that it was okay to bring the three young kids along. “Jeffrey says it is just fine to bring the kiddos!” an assistant for Epstein wrote. 
Epstein also connected Ting, then a plastic surgeon, with a woman named “Shelley” who wanted a nose job and was reportedly “a very good friend” of Epstein. 
“Jeffrey is asking if you might have time tomorrow, Friday May 3rd, after 4pm to see a very good friend of his regarding her nose… » Please let me know if this might be possible,” Epstein’s assistant <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA02139788.pdf">wrote</a> on May 2, 2013. 
Ting told The Advocate that he had seen several women referred to him by Epstein, and that he had treated “a few female associates referred by Jeffrey Epstein.&#8221; He added that they were all adults and there “were no concerns about consent.”
The emails also show that Ting consulted with Epstein on several of his health issues and scheduled MRIs for him.
Ting and Epstein’s relationship continued for the next few years and even included them coordinating responses to reporters together. 
On January 23, 2015, a Reuters reporter reached out to Ting about his ties to Epstein following a <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jan/10/jeffrey-epstein-decade-scandal-prince-andrew">new report</a> on Epstein’s relationship with the disgraced Prince Andrew. 
“I&#8217;m a reporter with the Reuters news wire, and I&#8217;m working on a story about the philanthropist Jeffrey Epstein. Are you available for an interview about Mr. Epstein? I understand he has helped to fund some of your work, and I&#8217;m interested in learning more about his philanthropy and whether it has been affected by the recent news about him,” the reporter asked. 
Mount Sinai, where Ting is a doctor, received thousands of dollars in donations from Epstein and his foundation. The hospital <a href="https://www.mountsinai.org/about/newsroom/2019/statement-from-mount-sinai-health-system-regarding-donations-from-jeffrey-epstein">pledged</a> to donate to groups supporting rape and sexual assault survivors after Epstein’s 2019 arrest. 
After the request for comment, Ting forwarded the email to Epstein’s assistant to see if he should respond. 
“See below. Would Jeffrey like me to respond to this?” Ting <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%209/EFTA00353575.pdf">wrote</a>. 
“Hi Dr. Ting&#8230;Jeffrey actually says to YES respond!” Epstein’s assistant responded. 
Ting responded by offering to let Epstein approve his replies to the reporter’s questions. 
“I will ask him to email me the questions and then I will forward them to you so Mr. Epstein can vet my responses,” Ting<a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%209/EFTA00353577.pdf"> wrote</a>.
On January 29, Epstein was <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%209/EFTA00865475.pdf">forwarded</a> a message from Ting saying, &#8220;That reporter never got back to me.&#8221;
Later in their relationship, Ting reached out to ask Epstein to thank him for the $50,000 he had donated to his research and to inform him that he had gone into transgender medicine. 
“I have been made surgical director of the brand new transgender surgery program at Mount Sinai. That&#8217;s right — Mount Sinai, being the progressive place that it is, saw am opportunity and need to take a leadership position in the area of Transgender Health and created the first full-spectrum academic program in the US focused on transgender surgery and care,” Ting <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2010/EFTA01743575.pdf">wrote</a> on May 14, 2016. 
Ting also asked Epstein to fund a documentary he was making on transgender medicine. 
“This was such an interesting and innovative idea, that I thought it would make a good documentary. I pitched the idea to a well-known director and we have started scouting interviews and are in the process of making a fundraising trailer, Ting wrote. 
“If I could just be really forward, I was wondering if you would be interested in supporting this documentary? If so, the producer, director and I would love to come and give you the pitch in person. This is an exciting, groundbreaking project — both the center and the documentary — that will do good for the world. I hope you can be a part of it,” he added. 
Epstein forwarded that email to one of his associates, who <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%209/EFTA00671299.pdf">replied</a> by saying that it would be better to fund a breast cancer center at Mount Sinai. 
On July 1, 2017, Ting wrote to Epstein again and shared a link to the trailer of the documentary. 
“I have given up plastic surgery and have jumped into the world of transgender surgery. It&#8217;s the most gratifying, worthwhile, and fascinating thing i&#8217;ve ever done. Michelle (my gf) is even making a documentary about it! Please take a look at the rough trailer,” he <a href="https://www.justice.gov/epstein/files/DataSet%2011/EFTA02646620.pdf">wrote</a>. 
Epstein responded, “wow, ill return mid july, lets talk.”
About one month later, Ting <a href="https://www.justice.gov/age-verify?destination=/epstein/files/DataSet%2011/EFTA02639932.pdf">shared</a> a Daily Mail article with Epstein and several others on the opening of the Mount Sinai transgender center. 
Ting’s <a href="https://www.borntobefilm.com/about">documentary</a> on the opening of the clinic, “Born to Be,” was released in 2020. The film follows &#8220;how his journey from renowned plastic surgeon to pioneering gender-affirming specialist has led to his own transformation.” 
As of March 2021, Ting <a href="https://www.mountsinai.org/about/newsroom/podcasts/real-smart-people/jess-love-thy-neighbor">said</a> he has done over 1,500 so-called “gender affirming” surgeries on patients as old as 77 and as young as 17. Ting innovated something called the peritoneum vaginoplasty, which uses skin taken from the stomach to fashion a pseudo-vagina. 
“In the beginning, I was just going to do a little bit of this operation. It was just going to be a part of my practice,” Ting said of his work during a podcast published by Mount Sinai. “But once we started doing the operations and just seeing how transformative they were for patients, I was like, wow, there is no way I can go back to doing plastic surgery.”
Ting acknowledged the dangers of the procedures. 
“If you make a mistake, someone can get — they can die. They can bleed. And the operations are more difficult. And at the same time, they&#8217;re not as well-developed. I probably shouldn&#8217;t say this, but, you know, I get nervous before almost every case.&#8221;

Author Michael Wolff responded to President Donald Trump&#8217;s threat of a lawsuit by essentially daring him to go through with it — and then he claimed that he would be the one to come out on top if such a lawsuit were actually filed.
Wolff explained in an Instagram video that he would love nothing more than to be able to subpoena both the President and first lady Melania Trump — and that he&#8217;d have standing to do so if either of them ever filed suit against him.

&#8220;I woke up this morning and found that last night, Donald Trump had threatened to sue me again. I think this is the third or possibly fourth time the president of the United States has threatened to sue,&#8221; Wolff began, referencing Trump&#8217;s most recent threat — made aboard Air Force One — to sue him for &#8220;conspiring&#8221; with the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Wolff admitted to pressing Epstein for information, claiming that he&#8217;d done so in order to convince the disgraced financier to give up any information he had on Trump: &#8220;Yes, I tried to encourage Jeffrey Epstein in any way I knew how to come forward with what he knew about Donald Trump.&#8221;
The author went on to note that he had already filed suit against first lady <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/melania-threatens-hunter-biden-with-1b-lawsuit-false-defamatory-disparaging">Melania Trump</a> — after she&#8217;d threatened legal action against him for claiming that she had traveled in the same circles as Epstein — and said that if the president made good on his threat, he would be able to subpoena both Trumps.
&#8220;This lawsuit gives me the power to subpoena Mrs. Trump, Mr. Trump, and all their friends &#8230; Bring it on!&#8221; he said. &#8220;I believe that if the American public knew the real nature of Donald Trump’s long relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, they would turn away in horror and revulsion. So sue me. Let’s sue each other.”
“I have nothing to hide, but Mr. President, you surely do,&#8221; Wolff declared.
Wolff said that Melania Trump threatened legal action months earlier after he authored an article for The Daily Beast claiming that Epstein had been the one to introduce her to the president. Hunter Biden later repeated that claim in an interview, prompting Trump&#8217;s litigation counsel Alejandro Brito to fire off a letter to former President Joe Biden&#8217;s son as well.
&#8220;Following receipt of our cease-and-desist demand letter just a week ago, The Daily Beast issued an apology to Mrs. Trump and retracted the false and defamatory statements contained in the Article by deleting it in its entirety,” Brito wrote, describing Wolff as a &#8220;serial fabulist&#8221; and adding, “Despite this, you have unjustifiably relied upon Mr. Wolff’s false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements about Mrs. Trump and maliciously elected to republish them.&#8221;

Bill and Hillary Clinton have dropped their opposition and agreed to testify before the House Oversight Committee, which is investigating the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The Clintons’ reversal came as House lawmakers prepared to vote to hold the former president and former Secretary of State in contempt of Congress for ignoring a subpoena, a committee aide told <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2026/02/02/bill-and-hillary-clinton-will-now-testify-before-congress-00761325">Politico</a>. It was not immediately clear when the Clintons are expected to appear before the committee.
The Clintons were originally scheduled to be deposed by the committee in mid-December. Committee chair James Comer (R-KY) pushed back the deposition date by a month to accommodate the Clintons’ plans to attend a funeral.
The Clintons skipped their scheduled appearance last month. Lawmakers on the committee then voted on a bipartisan basis to forward contempt charges to the House, which was scheduled to take up a vote on the charges this week.
“Every person has to decide when they have seen or had enough and are ready to fight for this country, its principles and its people, no matter the consequences,” the Clintons <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/republicans-seek-to-hold-bill-clinton-in-contempt-after-he-refuses-to-testify-on-epstein">wrote</a> in a letter last month explaining their decision to flout the subpoena. “For us, now is that time.”
The Clintons <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/clintons-in-the-hot-seat-as-oversight-committee-recommends-contempt-charges-over-epstein-scandal">argued</a> in the letter that they had reason to believe the subpoenas to force their testimony were “legally invalid.” They said further that they “tried to give [Comer] the little information [they] have.”
“We’ve done so because Mr. Epstein’s crimes were horrific,” the letter continued. “There is no plausible explanation for what you are doing other than partisan politics.”
Neither Bill nor Hillary has been accused of wrongdoing in connection with Epstein. No evidence has been found that Hillary ever traveled with Epstein, much less boarded Epstein’s now-infamous jet, the Lolita Express.
Bill Clinton has admitted to a handful of interactions with Epstein, including four trips on board Epstein&#8217;s jet, a meeting at Epstein’s Harlem office in 2002, and “one brief visit to Epstein’s New York apartment.” Reports and court filings have suggested numerous other encounters took place, however.
The former president took at least 27 flights on Epstein’s plane, according to a review of flight logs by <a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/2628210/bill-clinton-stonewalls-on-flights-with-child-sex-offender-epstein/">The Washington Examiner</a>.
Epstein visited the Clinton White House multiple times throughout the 1990s and attended “a donors’ reception hosted by Bill and Hillary Clinton” in 1993, according to a 2019 report in <a href="https://www.thedailybeast.com/jeffrey-epstein-visited-clinton-white-house-multiple-times-in-early-90s">The Daily Beast</a>. Epstein attended the reception after making a $10,000 donation to the White House Historical Association.
The House Oversight Committee launched an investigation into Epstein last year to <a href="https://oversight.house.gov/release/chairman-comer-clintons-must-be-held-accountable-for-refusing-to-comply-with-duly-issued-bipartisan-subpoenas/">develop</a> an understanding of the disgraced financier’s “sex trafficking network, the ways Epstein sought to curry favor and influence to evade scrutiny, and how Congress can strengthen laws to better combat human trafficking,” according to the committee.
Epstein died in 2019 in his jail cell in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City. Since taking over a year ago, the Trump administration has released millions of pages worth of documents, files, communications, and other evidence in the “Epstein files.”

Clintons Cave, Agree To Testify In House Epstein Investigation

House Republican Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) rejected requests from former President Bill Clinton and first lady Hillary Clinton on Monday. The two Democrats face contempt of Congress votes over their refusal to appear for depositions over an investigation into convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The House is set to vote as early as Wednesday to hold the Clintons in contempt of Congress after the former president and first lady did not show up for their scheduled depositions in January. The Clintons&#8217; lawyers, however, are still hoping to work out a deal with Comer and sent the Republican a letter Saturday saying the former president would be willing to sit for a four-hour transcribed interview instead of a deposition under oath. The lawyers also said Hillary Clinton would submit a sworn declaration rather than appear in person for a deposition.
Comer <a href="https://x.com/GOPoversight/status/2018378201039282202/photo/3">called</a> the offers &#8220;unreasonable,&#8221; adding, &#8220;It has been nearly six months since your clients first received the Committee&#8217;s subpoena, more than three months since the original date of their depositions, and nearly three weeks since they failed to appear for their depositions commensurate with the Committee&#8217;s lawful subpoenas.&#8221;
&#8220;Your clients&#8217; desire for special treatment is both frustrating and an affront to the American people&#8217;s desire for transparency,&#8221; Comer wrote in a reply to the Clintons&#8217; attorneys.
Comer said that the Clintons&#8217; requests for the transcribed interview would mean that Bill Clinton could &#8220;refuse to answer whatever questions he wanted for whatever reasons he wanted.&#8221; The House Oversight chairman added that the four-hour time limit requested would give Bill Clinton an &#8220;incentive to attempt to run out the clock by giving unnecessarily long answers and meandering off-topic.&#8221;
&#8220;This is a particular concern where a witness, such as President Clinton, has an established record of being a loquacious individual,&#8221; Comer added.
Regarding the request for Hillary Clinton, Comer told the attorneys that the Oversight Committee &#8220;has made clear on numerous occasions the necessity of her in-person testimony and unacceptability of simple sworn declarations.&#8221;
A majority of the House must vote in favor of a contempt resolution for it to pass. If found in contempt of Congress, the Clintons face large fines and potentially jail time.
Bill and Hillary Clinton were subpoenaed to appear before the House Oversight Committee last year as the committee conducted its investigation into Epstein. The Clintons were friends of Epstein&#8217;s in the early 2000s, with Bill Clinton often flying with Epstein on the sex predator&#8217;s infamous private plane. Neither the former president nor the first lady has been accused of any wrongdoing related to Epstein&#8217;s crimes. After receiving their subpoenas, the Clintons argued that they &#8220;already provided the limited information they possess about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to the Committee.&#8221;
Bill Clinton has appeared multiple times in the Epstein files, as the Justice Department continues to release batches of documents and photos to the public. Some of the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/bill-clinton-responds-to-shocking-photos-in-epstein-file-dump">images</a> released by the Justice Department from Epstein&#8217;s estate show Bill Clinton enjoying a hot tub with a woman whose face was redacted and swimming in a pool with Epstein&#8217;s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in the sex trafficking scheme. Bill Clinton was also pictured getting a shoulder massage from one of Epstein&#8217;s accusers, Chauntae Davies. Davies has not accused the former president of any wrongdoing.
Bill Clinton’s chief of staff, Angel Ureña, said in December that the former president &#8220;knew nothing and cut Epstein off before his crimes came to light.&#8221;

President Donald Trump said Monday he is considering legal action against 2026 Grammy Awards show host Trevor Noah over a jab the comedian directed at the president and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. 
While hosting the annual awards show on Sunday, Noah joked that Trump wanted Greenland because he could no longer visit Epstein’s private Caribbean island. In a Truth Social post shortly after the broadcast, Trump said he would be sending his lawyers after Noah. 
“The Grammy Awards are the WORST, virtually unwatchable! CBS is lucky not to have this garbage litter their airwaves any longer. The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards,” Trump <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/115999513470647838">wrote</a>. “Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!!”
Earlier in the broadcast, while announcing the song of the year award, Noah joked that it was “a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland,&#8221; adding that &#8220;because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.”
Trump, whose Justice Department <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/justice-department-releases-millions-more-epstein-files?author=Cameron+Arcand&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Justice+Department+Releases+Millions+More+Epstein+Files">released</a> millions more Epstein-related files Friday, has repeatedly said he has never been to Little Saint James, the island where Epstein was accused of sex trafficking young girls. 
“I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media,” Trump continued. “Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast. It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$. Ask Little George Slopadopolus, and others, how that all worked out. Also ask CBS! Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”
In December 2024, Trump <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-wins-millions-in-defamation-suit-against-abc-news-george-stephanopoulos">won</a> a $15 million defamation settlement from ABC News and George Stephanopoulos after Stephanopoulos incorrectly said the president had been found “liable for rape.” Trump also secured a $16 million settlement from CBS News after suing the network over the editing of an interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris. 
Last year, Trump <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-files-massive-libel-lawsuit-against-wall-street-journal-over-fake-epstein-letter">filed</a> a $10 billion libel lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal after it published an article claiming he wrote a 2003 birthday letter to Epstein that included a sketch of a naked woman.
Wild claims about Trump and Epstein circulated on social media Friday after the release of three million more Epstein-related documents. The Justice Department said many of the claims originated in the lead-up to the 2020 election and have no credibility.
“Some of the documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election,” the DOJ said. “To be clear, the claims are unfounded and false, and if they have a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.”

President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he was planning to sue Michael Wolff, claiming that the author had been &#8220;conspiring&#8221; with the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein to damage his reputation.
Trump made the comments while speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, saying that he was also considering a potential lawsuit against the Epstein estate on the same grounds.

One reporter asked Trump about the latest trove of files released relating to Epstein,  asking whether he believed his critics would be &#8220;satisfied&#8221; with the information that had come out.
&#8220;Well, they should be, because it looked like this guy Wolff, who&#8217;s a writer, was conspiring with Epstein to do harm to me,&#8221; Trump began. &#8220;And I didn&#8217;t see it myself, but I was told be some very important people that — not only does it absolve me, it&#8217;s the opposite of what people were hoping, you know, the radical left — that Wolff was conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein to hurt me, politically or otherwise, and that came through loud and clear.&#8221;
&#8220;We&#8217;ll probably sue Wolff for that. And maybe the Epstein estate, I guess, I don&#8217;t know,&#8221; he added. &#8220;We&#8217;re going to certainly sue Wolff.&#8221;
One of the reporters pressed him again on the possibility that he would also sue the Epstein estate, and and Trump continued, &#8220;Well &#8230; I guess so, because he was conspiring with Wolff to do harm to me politically.&#8221;
The latest <a href="https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cevnmxyy4wjo">batch of documents</a>, released Friday, included some three million documents — along with thousands of videos and photos. Among them were a number of emails between Epstein and &#8220;the Duke,&#8221; who is believed to be Prince Andrew, the Duke of York — and a list of allegations against President Trump that were compiled by the FBI.
The Justice Department has said in a statement that none of those allegations were considered to be &#8220;credible.&#8221;
