&#8220;Happy Inauguration Day!!! God Bless America,&#8221; Bure wrote in the caption. The actress also shared in Instagram Stories that it was “an exciting day.” 
Dean Cain <a href="https://x.com/RealDeanCain/status/1881390391171403942">posted</a> a photo of himself in Washington, D.C., for the big event, writing in the X post caption, “What a day!!” alongside an American flag emoji.
Actor James Woods, another outspoken Trump supporter, put his thoughts on X. “I am in tears. God bless America and President Trump,&#8221; he shared just after noon on Tuesday, during the inauguration ceremony.

Brittany Aldean, wife of country star Jason Aldean, also gushed about Inauguration Day events. She shared an old photo of Trump to her Instagram Stories with the caption, “TODAY.” Aldean posted photos of herself and her husband dressed up on Monday night. 
“INAUGURATION NIGHT,” the caption said. “What a ride it’s been! Today has made all the scrutiny worth it. Wouldn’t change a thing.”

Actor John Cusack instructed his followers not to watch the inauguration.

<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/hollywood" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood</a> stars Anna Faris, Adam Brody, and Mandy Moore have become the latest celebrities to lose their homes in the Southern California fires that remain 0% contained in Los Angeles as of Wednesday.
The three celebrities joined actors like James Woods and reality TV stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag who have completely lost their homes as wildfires rage in the area thanks to the high-speed Santa Ana winds forcing the evacuations of tens of thousands in the Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, and Hurst Fire, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/multiple-fires-blaze-throughout-la-county-prompting-thousands-of-evacuations">reported</a>.
In one video from <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2025/01/08/adam-brody-leighton-meester-anna-faris-houses-burn-down-los-angeles-wildfires/">TMZ</a>, it showed the 45-year-old Brody and his actress wife Leighton Meester’s home completely engulfed in black smoke and flames with barely the structure of the home remaining.
Inside the post, there were also pictures of ashes and what was left of Faris&#8217; home. There has been no word from either Faris or Brody about the loss.

On Tuesday, Moore took to her social media account and wrote in an Instagram Story, “Evacuated and safe with kids, dog, and cats. Praying and grateful for the first responders,” <a href="https://ew.com/mark-hamill-other-stars-detail-evacuating-la-amid-horrific-palisades-fire-8771183">Entertainment Weekly</a> noted. “Grateful for the kindness of friends that we had a place to land last night. Trying to shield the kids from the immense sadness and worry I feel. Praying for everyone in our beautiful city. So gutted for the destruction and loss. Don’t know if our place made it.”
Moore updated her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/stories/mandymooremm/3541288342069564786/">Instagram Story post</a> on Wednesday, saying that her “sweet home” in Altadena was leveled in the Eaton fire.

“I am devastated and gutted for those of us who’ve lost so much. I’m absolutely numb,” the “This is Us” actress wrote.
“My children’s school is gone,” she added. “Our favorite restaurants, leveled. So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too. Our community is broken but we will be here to rebuild together. Sending love to all affected and on the front lines trying to get this under control.”
James Woods was one of the stars whose home didn’t make it after he initially posted on Tuesday on <a href="https://x.com/RealJamesWoods/status/1876780073845408023">X</a> that he had safely evacuated the area, only to share later that his home was gone.
Later Tuesday night, Woods broke down in tears during an appearance on CNN talking about the fire that had burned up his entire street, <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/mark-hamill-la-fire-malibu-evacuation-dog-trixie-1236104022/">according</a> to The Hollywood Reporter.
“There was so much chaos, it was like an inferno. Every house was on fire around us,” Woods said. “We were evacuated with the clothes on our back. One day you are swimming in your pool, and the next day it’s all gone.”

In a post on <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DEjZIqvR3uE/?hl=en">Instagram</a>, Hamill wrote that he evacuated his Malibu home where there were “fires on both sides of the road” burning as LA County firefighters battled the fire blazing thanks to high speed Santa Ana winds, leading to tens of thousands of evacuations in the Palisades Fire, Hurst Fire, and Eaton Fire, as previously <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/multiple-fires-blaze-throughout-la-county-prompting-thousands-of-evacuations">reported</a>.
He also posted that he, his wife, and his dog were able to safely evacuate to his daughter Chelsea’s home in Hollywood, adding that it was the “most horrific fire since ’93. STAY SAFE!”

In a post to X, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection <a href="https://x.com/CAL_FIRE/status/1876719619072991581" target="_blank" rel="noopener">urged</a> people to be prepared to move and report suspicious activity to help prevent arson.
Los Angeles Magazine <a href="https://x.com/LAmag/status/1876723860852392248" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> more than 100 firefighters and been deployed to fight the blaze, but as shown in videos posted to social media, homes were being <a href="https://x.com/MattSeedorff/status/1876734882811953321" target="_blank" rel="noopener">engulfed</a> in flames.

Emmy-winning star <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-woods" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Woods</a> said he&#8217;s gotten a &#8220;second act&#8221; in his life after he started writing songs and working with the late country singer <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/waylon-jennings-son-says-hes-found-treasure-trove-of-unheard-music-dad-made-will-release" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Waylon Jennings</a>’ son, musician/record producer Shooter Jennings, to make an album about his life.
In a behind-the-scenes clip shared recently on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ARJGkZBh_M">YouTube</a>, the 77-year-old actor explained how his album “Hear The Thunder Crack” became a reality after crossing paths one night with Shooter who, after hearing Woods’ life experiences, wanted to put the star’s words to music.
“And then he asked me the question that literally changed my life,” Woods said of Jennings, which was, “did you ever try writing any lyrics.”
Shooter replied, “I just felt like you had so many good stories to tell and it sounded like a fun idea to hear what lyrics would be like.”

The “Casino” star said he decided to try it and wrote “Misty Morning” one day. He then figured why not send it to Shooter. Weeks went by and he didn’t hear a thing and was totally embarrassed. However, Jennings did end up finally sending Woods a file of the song and when he heard it, everything changed.
“I can’t even express what it feels like to have your words put in music,” Woods said. “He [Shooter] sang it so beautifully.”
“When I wrote so many songs at once, I don’t know where it came from,” he added. “But when I got a chance to say something, just say it, without somebody telling me how to say it or what to say, man, the dam broke.”

“‘Hear The Thunder Crack: The life of James Woods sung by Shooter Jennings’ is an expansive poetic journey into the mind and life of legendary Hollywood icon James Woods, put to music by multiple Grammy-winning composer/producer/singer Shooter Jennings,” a description on YouTube read.
“Over a period of three years Jennings weaved the lyrics and poetry written by Woods into a sweeping musical biography,” it added. “Recorded at Dave&#8217;s Room Studios in North Hollywood, CA, with James and the Highway Storm Orchestra as his backing band, Shooter sang and performed the album as the tape rolled. The result is ‘Hear The Thunder Crack,’ an unusual but powerful collaboration between two unlikely friends.”
“Forrest Gump” star Gary Sinise also shared the news, writing on <a href="https://x.com/GarySinise/status/1843369038224994335">X</a>, “In 1989, I was fortunate to snag a part in the made-for-TV film ‘My Name is Bill W’ with James Woods, and we have been good pals ever since. Jimmy was powerful in the film and won an Emmy for that role.”
“After a ton of great work in film and TV, he’s now writing songs with Shooter Jennings for their album ‘Hear the Thunder Crack,’” he added, including a link to the YouTube clip.

Actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/james-woods" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Woods</a> revealed in a rare interview that he was advised to keep his involvement with box office smash &#8220;Oppenheimer&#8221; under wraps over fears that his &#8220;pro-Trump&#8221; leanings would stand in the way of Oscars success.
Woods told Sirius XM host and Daily Wire voice talent Megyn Kelly that when he signed on to the Christopher Nolan project, there was a conversation among others associated with the film about his Twitter account.
&#8220;When &#8216;Oppenheimer&#8217; came out, there was a discussion about my Twitter, and it was gently suggested that I basically remain invisible, which was painful — on the other hand, I’m a pragmatic person and I thought, a lot of people put their effort into this, so I’m just going to be an invisible pariah because the people who are going to be voting for Oscars, which is very important,&#8221; Woods said, recalling that when he had first announced his support for former President Donald Trump, he&#8217;d been unceremoniously dropped by his agent on the 4th of July.
Woods went on to explain that ultimately, because he did not want to see others who had worked on the film miss out on acclaim or awards because his name was attached to the project, he agreed to keep his role quiet.
&#8220;I don’t want to deprive those people. I don’t want to have some nutcase come out of the woodwork, fabricate some ridiculous story about me — I’ve had a million of them said, they’re all lies — I don’t want that to happen and have the clickbait story be, &#8216;James Woods is the executive producer, we’re not going to watch that movie!&#8217; So I stepped back and basically took one for the team,&#8221; he said.

Woods initially responded to President Joe Biden and his administration&#8217;s decision to go ahead with the Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31, despite the fact that this year, Easter Sunday fell on the same date.

Conservative actor James Woods and &#8220;X&#8221; owner Elon Musk battled on the social media platform over the weekend after Musk said that he would remove users&#8217; ability to block other accounts.
&#8220;Block is going to be deleted as a &#8216;feature&#8217;, except for [Direct Messages],&#8221; Musk said late last week. &#8220;It makes no sense.&#8221;
Woods responded to news reports about the change that Musk by posting on the platform: &#8220;In the midst of a libel suit I was targeted by thirty trolls the defendant enlisted to harass me. X will be untenable for people like me, who are willing to share their identities. If he does this, I will have no choice but to retire from this site.&#8221;
&#8220;If [Elon Musk] removes the ability to block concerted harassment by trolls or organized political entities, how will &#8216;X&#8217; be any different from Jack Dorsey’s horrid Twitter?&#8221; Woods later posted. &#8220;Musk, whom I once championed, is only doing this to protect his advertisers anyway. Users of X are mere pawns to turn the site into an electronic shopping mall. The man I thought was a defender of free speech is just another greedy capitalist. Musk released internal company documents through journalist Matt Taibbi about the company’s censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story during the 2020 presidential election, which showed that top officials at the company were in regular contact with Democrats and censored content that Democrats wanted removed.
One of the tweets published by Taibbi showed that Democrats flagged a tweet from Woods to be removed by the company.

Conservative actor James Woods responded to Twitter&#8217;s release of internal company documents Friday night, which showed that Democrats targeted one of his tweets for censorship, by announcing that he will be filing a lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee.
Twitter CEO Elon Musk released internal company documents through journalist Matt Taibbi about the company’s censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story during the 2020 presidential election that showed that top officials at the company were in regular contact with Democrats and censored content that Democrats wanted removed.
One of the tweets published by Taibbi showed that Democrats flagged a tweet from Woods to be removed by the company.

Woods joined Fox News host Tucker Carlson as Taibbi was releasing the internal information from Twitter.
&#8220;I&#8217;ve been a target of these people for six years. They have destroyed my career,&#8221; Woods said. &#8220;They have destroyed my livelihood. They&#8217;ve destroyed my faith in this country that my family has defended in the military since the Revolutionary War.&#8221;
&#8220;I can guarantee you one thing, more than anything else you&#8217;ll ever hear in your life, I will be getting a lawyer. I will be suing the Democratic National Committee. No matter what, whether I win or lose, I am going to stand up for the rights of every American,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I&#8217;m not a celebrity, I&#8217;m hardly recognizable anymore because my career has been destroyed by these very people.&#8221;
&#8220;If I have to be the flag-bearer for this, then so be it. I&#8217;ll be proud to do it,&#8221; Woods added. &#8220;The government of the United States conspired to take my free speech and throw it in the gutter. And there&#8217;s something that they should fear more than anything they have ever imagined in their wildest dreams. The most dangerous man, these corrupt, vile vermin is an American, who&#8217;s not afraid of him, and Joe Biden, and all those rats who work with you at the DNC, to close down my speech, I am not afraid of you. And I&#8217;m coming for you.&#8221;

And so they did. James Woods joins us now by phone. James Woods, are you there?
JAMES WOODS, ACTOR: Yes, I am Tucker, so nice to talk to you.
CARLSON: It&#8217;s great to talk to you. I vaguely remember when your tweet was pulled down. You of course, remember it. Did you suspect at the time, it was pulled down at the direct request of the Democratic National Committee?
WOODS: I&#8217;m not surprised at all. I&#8217;m shocked the way any other American would be if he were a target of a presidential candidate, and a major political party. But here&#8217;s why I&#8217;m not shocked. &#8230; You may be surprised to know that there was a lawsuit a while back, a woman accused me of saying that she gave a Nazi salute, and there was a whole bunch of stuff about it on Twitter. And I didn&#8217;t, I actually asked why would somebody say that about her. Without going into the details of that lawsuit, it turned out that the DNC was behind that, I won the lawsuit in federal court. It wasn&#8217;t reported very much. I&#8217;ve been a target of these people for six years, they have destroyed my career. They have destroyed my livelihood. They&#8217;ve destroyed my faith in this country that my family has defended in the military since the Revolutionary War. I&#8217;m about to be inducted into the [Sons of the American Revolution]. I cannot, you&#8217;re catching me a bit off guard because I literally just walked in the door. And my wife said, have you seen your phone? I was at the firing range, believe it or not practicing for [inaudible] rights under the Second Amendment, which I guess now that I don&#8217;t have any first amendment rights anymore, I&#8217;m glad that I still have some Second Amendment. I think the whole thing is astonishing. I&#8217;m just I&#8217;m, I&#8217;m for the first time of my life, honestly, speechless.
CARLSON: Well, it is astonishing as you just pointed out, civil laws used extensively by the left to really crush people on the right, Alex Jones just had a billion dollar settlement against him because he said something that, he didn&#8217;t hurt anybody, he said something people didn&#8217;t like, and they wrecked his life and the lives of many other people, and they tried to wreck yours. Is there some kind of legal or civil recourse that you would have against the people who violated your First Amendment rights?
WOODS: I can guarantee you one thing, more than anything else you&#8217;ll ever hear in your life, I will be getting a lawyer, I will be suing the Democratic National Committee, no matter what, whether I win or lose, I am going to stand up for the rights of every American. [inaudible] not a so called celebrity. I&#8217;m not a celebrity, I&#8217;m hardly recognizable anymore because my career has been destroyed by these very people. And I will too, and I&#8217;m hoping other people will too. And if it turns out there are a lot of us on this list, where the DNC targeted us, and I will quote the immortal words of Joseph Welch when he attacked Joe McCarthy, with the enemies list he had, &#8216;at long last sir, have you no shame?&#8217; President Biden, all of your proxies, little operatives in the DNC who have targeted American citizens. Have you, Mr. President, have all of you at last, no shame?
CARLSON: Yeah. And of course, the answer is no, they don&#8217;t have shame. But we, we will be following that. And there may be more, clearly they were fixated on you, which I hope you take as a compliment, but also propels you forward to bring justice.
WOODS: I think it is a compliment, but it&#8217;s, you know, it&#8217;s a big price to pay. It&#8217;s not a lot of fun. I loved my career for 50 years, I was happy to be an award winning and honored and appreciated actor, and I miss my career, and these people took it from me, and they&#8217;ll pay a price later in my life, you know, but I have to say, I am not going to take it sitting down. I think these people are vermin, for doing this to other people. Let&#8217;s not talk about me for a moment, let&#8217;s talk about simple individuals who put out a tweet and now their lives are destroyed. You know, casting directors literally in my business, literally go online, and they check every actor who comes in for a part to see who they&#8217;re following? If an actor or an actress is following me, they will blacklist them, all right? It&#8217;s about time this is torn open. And I will tell you this, it&#8217;s not just me, but if you take the thousands of people that I&#8217;m sure they did this to and you got a class action suit, they might not be so happy about that. They really are in trouble right now, I think. I think this will be something that will, they&#8217;re not going to be happy about in the long run. And you know, what am I going to get at it? I don&#8217;t know. But I&#8217;m going to sue for [inaudible], there was a guy who called me a cocaine addict on Twitter once, I&#8217;ve never done drugs in my life. And they even stipulated, &#8216;Well, he was just doing it as hyperbole.&#8217; I sued him, I won that suit. [Inaudible] &#8230; I can&#8217;t talk about it because of the settlement that we did, much more than that. And someone says, &#8216;Why would you do it?&#8217; I said because I want to defend my name, I&#8217;m not gonna let them slander me like this. That was libel in that case &#8230; but I&#8217;m not going to put up with it. And if I have to be the flag-bearer for this, then so be it. I&#8217;ll be proud to do it.
CARLSON: You should be proud.
WOODS: I want to say in closing you may notice that I never talk to the press anymore. I&#8217;m asked every day. Okay, I&#8217;ve left Twitter as my only source of public, any statement I might make, because I always say, &#8216;those are my words, you&#8217;re not going to alter it by doing slow motion video of me in black and white and all that crap that they do.&#8217; But they&#8217;ve been doing this as a Jihad against conservative people, I was blocked on Twitter for eight months. You know what I was suspended for? Quoting Ralph Waldo Emerson. Can you imagine, that&#8217;s how crazy these people are. And one of the things that I said on Twitter once, and it&#8217;s become kind of a meme: &#8216;scratch a liberal, and you&#8217;ll find a fascist every time.&#8217; Let me tell you, these Democrats, and now I can say it because they are now my enemy. They declared this, not me. But when they go around calling everybody, &#8216;Oh this is a fascist,&#8217; and so on, you know who the fascists are? Scratch a liberal and you will find a fascist, every time. Every time.
CARLSON: Well, I&#8217;m, I realize you don&#8217;t want to do television interviews, but you are always welcome on this show, because that&#8217;s one of the most amazing conversations I&#8217;ve had in a while. And I&#8217;m really grateful that we reached you tonight.
WOODS: &#8230; I looked at my phone. I literally had hundreds of messages. I go what the hell, what&#8217;s going on? And so I can&#8217;t speak about this [with] the informed consent that I would like to and I can&#8217;t speak as intelligently as I would like to, but, you know, when you see your name on an enemies list, you want to say to your enemies, you know, really an interesting thing. When you declare somebody as your enemy, they can now say, &#8216;you&#8217;re my enemy too.&#8217; And the funny thing about the Constitution, you know, I tweeted something today about James Monroe. You know, James Monroe, President of the United States by the way later on, you know how old he was when they signed the Declaration of Independence? He was 18 years old. 18 years old. Okay? John Adams was 19 years old. [You know you have these people that complain about] &#8216;these old white man wrote the Constitution.&#8217; They were teenagers fighting for an independent way of life, fighting for rights, the most precious of which, the most precious of which was the right to free speech. James Woods Responds To ‘The Twitter Files’ In Interview: I’m Suing The DNC, ‘I’m Coming For You’ Biden

Twitter erupted Sunday afternoon after left-wing comedian Kathy Griffin was suspended for violating the platform&#8217;s terms of service about impersonating other people.
New Twitter CEO Elon Musk warned that moving forward, accounts would be permanently banned without warning if they attempted to impersonate other accounts.
“Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying ‘parody’ will be permanently suspended,” Musk tweeted. “Previously, we issued a warning before suspension, but now that we are rolling out widespread verification, there will be no warning.”
“This will be clearly identified as a condition for signing up to Twitter Blue,” Musk continued. “Any name change at all will cause temporary loss of verified checkmark.”
Griffin’s account was banned after she impersonated Musk by changing her profile photo to his photo and her user name to “Elon Musk,” even though her handle remained “@kathygriffin.”
Memes quickly flooded the internet mocking Griffin, 62, with many using her highly controversial photo shoot when she held a fake, severed head of then-President Donald Trump for the camera.

Musk responded to a Twitter account posting the news that Griffin was banned for impersonating him by first taking a swipe at her and then saying he would let her back on the platform.
“Actually, she was suspended for impersonating a comedian,” Musk tweeted. “But if she really wants her account back, she can have it.”
Musk later added that she would have to pay the $8 fee to use the new Twitter Blue.
Musk also claimed that banning accounts for impersonation does not go against his views on free speech. “My commitment to free speech extends even to not banning the account following my plane, even though that is a direct personal safety risk,” Musk tweeted.
Twitter has explicit rules prohibiting the impersonation of other people. “You may not impersonate individuals, groups, or organizations to mislead, confuse, or deceive others, nor use a fake identity in a manner that disrupts the experience of others on Twitter,” the company’s terms of service <a href="https://help.twitter.com/en/rules-and-policies/twitter-impersonation-and-deceptive-identities-policy#:~:text=While%20you%20are%20not%20required,in%20order%20to%20deceive%20others.">says</a>.
The company does make exceptions for parody accounts, but the accounts have to clearly state that they are parodies.
“If we determine a profile features another’s image, we will also evaluate the context in which the image is used,” the terms of service state. “We are most likely to take action if an account falsely claims to be the entity portrayed in the profile photo, as with impersonation or fake accounts.”

Woods took issue with the idea that the terrorists behind such devastating homeland attacks could possibly work out any deals at all — but he also noted the added insult of the information being reported on the twenty-first anniversary of the attacks.
&#8220;To see this headline on September 11 is appalling,&#8221; Woods said in a tweet that has since been deleted. &#8220;Why is justice such an elusive concept in America today? Will the heinous among us never be held accountable? This is an outrage, and to read about it on this sacred day is an insult to the fallen.&#8221;

According to the <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/us/us-prosecutors-may-negotiate-plea-deal-architect-khalid-sheikh-mohammed-conspirators-report" target="_blank" rel="noopener">report</a>, the five defendants — Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, Ramzi Binalshibh, Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi, Walid bin Attash, and Ammar al-Baluchi — have been negotiating a deal to get the death penalty off the table. They have reportedly agreed to enter guilty pleas in exchange for that concession as well as for treatment for the abuse they claim to have endured at the hands of American CIA officers.
All five of the defendants in question were held and interrogated by the CIA prior to their arrival at the prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba — and critics, as well as the defendants and their attorneys, have asserted that their treatment at the hands of the CIA amounted to &#8220;illegal torture.&#8221;
In conjunction with their alleged efforts to plan and coordinate the devastating attacks that were executed on September 11, 2001, the five men were charged with crimes including terrorism, hijacking and 2,976 counts of murder.
Woods was hardly the only person to take issue with the report and its timing.
&#8220;This had better be an erroneous report. The only deal these scum* should get is a promise of a quick death, instead of slow and painful,&#8221; @irishspy <a href="https://twitter.com/irishspy/status/1569088361360674816" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweeted</a>. &#8220;*(And I apologize to scum everywhere for the comparison.)&#8221;
