Bonnie Tyler — the smoky-voiced Welsh belter who turned heartbreak into arena-sized bombast with &#8220;Total Eclipse of the Heart&#8221; — <a href="https://apnews.com/article/bonnie-tyler-singer-died-11b043ebdb4fa946daa42aad804ce4a1" target="_blank" rel="noopener">died Wednesday</a> in a Portuguese hospital. She was 75.
The singer, born Gaynor Hopkins in the coal-mining village of Skewen, Wales, had been battling an illness and passed away in Faro, where she&#8217;d made her home for decades, her family confirmed in a Facebook post.
Her road to that final night was tough. Back in May, Tyler underwent emergency surgery on a perforated intestine, was placed in an induced <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/total-eclipse-of-the-heart-singer-wakes-up-from-coma" target="_blank" rel="noopener">coma</a>, and spent weeks fighting for her life in intensive care before doctors believed she was turning a corner.
Tyler&#8217;s raspy, whiskey-and-cigarettes voice — the product of throat surgery she had in 1977 to remove vocal nodules — became one of pop&#8217;s most distinctive instruments, and she leaned into it hard. &#8220;I can&#8217;t help it if I&#8217;ve got a husky voice,&#8221; she once <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2026/07/09/arts/music/bonnie-tyler-dead.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shot back</a> at critics who compared her to Rod Stewart.

“After it was a hit,” she remembered, Meat Loaf “always used to say: ‘Dang. That song should have been mine!’” She told The Telegrapgh last year, “How can you ever possibly imagine it would still be so big today and people who weren’t even born then would be singing it at karaoke?”
Tyler followed up with &#8220;Holding Out for a Hero,&#8221; the synth-pop banger that soundtracked &#8220;Footloose&#8221; and blared out of gyms and movie screens throughout the &#8217;80s. She racked up three Grammy nominations along the way, though she never took one home.
The daughter of a coal miner and one of six kids, Tyler credited her mother with instilling the grit that carried her out of Wales and onto the world stage, once recalling her mom&#8217;s blunt advice: believe in yourself, because nobody else will do it for you.
She went on to represent the United Kingdom at Eurovision in 2013, released more than a dozen albums across her career — her last, &#8220;In Berlin,&#8221; dropped in 2024 — and was honored with the Order of the British Empire in 2022 for her contributions to music.

A teenager who went missing after a boat trip with his friends on the Fourth of July was found dead as authorities identified his body Tuesday afternoon.
Nolan Wells, 18, was identified by the Jackson County Coroner’s Office through dental records after his body was discovered “in the water, just offshore” from Horn Island, a popular island off the coast of Mississippi, on Monday morning. Wells and his friends were celebrating the holiday on the boat on the island before his disappearance.
Wells’ cause of death is still unknown pending autopsy results that could take weeks. Authorities told ABC News that drowning appears to be the most likely cause of death at this point in the investigation.
Wells and his friends left for the island from a private dock in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, early on Saturday. He was last reported seen around 3 p.m. “talking to a girl” on the northern side of the island. His friends returned home without him, and Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter stated that it appears Wells “chose to stay there.&#8221;
When Wells did not return home, his mother reported him missing late Saturday night. Videos then began to surface on social media appearing to show a heated confrontation on the island on the Fourth of July, sparking online speculation about whether it was connected to Wells&#8217; disappearance. Authorities say they are aware of the footage and reviewing it, but have not verified its authenticity or linked it to his death.
Authorities have <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/nolan-wells-missing-mississippi-horn-island-family-ben-crump/?ftag=CNM-00-10aab7e&amp;linkId=976922074" target="_blank" rel="noopener">asked</a> for &#8220;original, unedited photos and videos taken on the northwest tip of Horn Island, particularly those depicting alleged altercations or containing images of, or believed to include Nolan Wells.&#8221;
Wells’ mother, Christine Wonsley, has posted on her Facebook regarding the situation.
“His father, Elmore Wonsley and I are not ok. We have so many questions,” she <a href="https://www.facebook.com/christine.wonsley" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted</a>. “Our hearts are breaking, we keep waiting for Nolan to walk through that door with his beautiful smile and a joke of course.”
“Missing our Nolan so much every second of everyday. This has been the worst time of our lives,” she said in another post.
The family has retained nationally renowned civil rights and personal injury attorney Ben Crump.
&#8220;His family deserves answers. They deserve the truth,&#8221; Crump <a href="https://x.com/AttorneyCrump/status/2074589567131267537" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a>. &#8220;We will not rest until every fact about what happened to Nolan on Horn Island is brought into the light, and we call on investigators to pursue this case with the urgency and transparency this family deserves.&#8221;
Currently, no foul play is suspected in Wells&#8217; death, but the investigation is still ongoing.

A speeding New Jersey driver who struck and killed two World Cup fans before fleeing the scene was charged on Wednesday, authorities said. 
David J. Zapata-Vera, the 26-year-old driver, surrendered himself to authorities on Tuesday after speeding through a Newark intersection as two women were walking across the street.
He was charged with two counts of vehicular homicide, two counts of leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in death, and two counts of endangering an injured victim, <a href="https://newjersey.news12.com/2026/06/24/newark-man-charged-in-fatal-hit-and-run-that-killed-two-women/7Bq8OuMsh2GYswRm00t1cz">according</a> to New Jersey News 12. He is currently being held in the Essex County jail without bond. 
The victims, Maria Isabel DeLos Angeles, 61, and Mariana Elizabeth Valverde Beltran, 58, were in the crosswalk when they were hit by Zapata-Vera, <a href="https://njecpo.org/arrest-in-fatal-hit-and-run-crash-that-killed-two-women-in-newark/">said</a> the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. The two women were walking home from a World Cup watch party on Saturday night, The New York Post <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/06/25/us-news/two-nj-women-killed-in-hit-and-run-crash-as-they-walked-home-from-world-cup-watch-party/">reported</a>.
Surveillance cameras on the street captured the red sedan speeding through the intersection before it struck the victims, sending them airborne.
Manuel Candelaria, a witness to the tragedy, claimed that Zapata-Vera accelerated through the intersection. “The light was changing, this side was red, this side was yellow, I don&#8217;t know if he was drunk, but anyway he put the gas and that&#8217;s what happens,” he said.
The two victims were rushed to the University Hospital Newark, where they were pronounced dead.
“You have to live with this for the rest of your life. I hope the person is found but also for that person it’s something you have to live with for the rest of your life, it’s on your conscience,” Jeffrey Chacon, Beltran’s cousin, said to WABC. “My dad is managing his emotions with trying to contact everyone in Ecuador, her sisters, her son.”

A woman was killed on Friday night after a Tesla crashed into her home in Katy, Texas, authorities said.
Martha Avila, a 76-year-old grandmother, was putting away groceries when the Tesla plowed into her home. Avila was airlifted to a nearby hospital where she later died, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.
The doorbell camera captured the Tesla Model 3 driving about 70 mph through the residential neighborhood before speeding across the lawn and crashing into Avila’s brick home.

Michael Butler, the 44-year-old Tesla driver, said the car was in autopilot mode when it slammed into the house. Butler was also injured and taken to the hospital. He showed no signs of intoxication and cooperated during the investigation, the sheriff’s office said.
Officials are actively investigating the crash and whether the Tesla’s autopilot system was functioning properly. They have not identified what caused the Tesla to veer off the road and crash at high speeds.
The crash left severe structural damage to the house, and the family temporarily relocated to a hotel, according to neighbors. A spokesman for Zehl &amp; Associates, the law firm representing Avila’s family, said they planned on filing a lawsuit.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to a news story about the crash on X, <a href="https://x.com/elonmusk/status/2069161438812278946">writing</a>, “Yes, this makes no sense. [Full self-driving] drives slowly through neighborhood streets and this was a high speed crash!”
Automotive analyst and consumer advocate Lauren Fix <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/06/22/business/disturbing-video-shows-tesla-crash-into-texas-home-killing-grandma-76-in-latest-autopilot-controversy/">told</a> The New York Post that the Friday night crash is one of many concerns regarding Tesla’s self-driving technology.
“The mistake was calling it autopilot,” Fix said. “When someone dies in a car at that kind of speed in a neighborhood … there’s obviously either a software issue … or could be a driver issue.” 
“This remains an active and open investigation,” a Harris County, Texas, Sheriff’s Office spokesman told the Post. “Once all evidence has been gathered, it will be presented to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office to determine whether charges are appropriate.”

A gunman <a href="https://www.jpost.com/diaspora/antisemitism/article-900180">opened fire</a> Monday in a heavily Jewish district of Montreal, leaving one police officer and one civilian dead and a second officer fighting for his life in a hospital.

The attack unfolded shortly before noon in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood, when Montreal police received reports of an armed and dangerous individual near the intersection of De Courtrai and Trans Island Avenues. Officers responding to the scene came under fire. Witnesses described hearing between 20 and 30 shots in rapid succession before parents at a nearby park grabbed their children and fled.

Alan Greenspan, the influential economist and former chairman of the Federal Reserve, died on Monday. He was 100 years old.
Greenspan&#8217;s wife, NBC News anchor Andrea Mitchell, said the former Fed chairman died at home from complications related to Parkinson’s disease.
&#8220;He was a giant of a man who helped shape the U.S. economy for decades under presidents of both parties, but was always honest in acknowledging his mistakes,&#8221; Mitchell said.
“To me, he was my husband, who shaped my life from our very first date in 1984. He had ‘irrational exuberance’ for baseball, the Washington Commanders, tennis, golf and music, especially jazz,” Mitchell added. “He will be remembered for his brilliance and his kindness. Being his life partner was the joy of my life.”
Greenspan, who was appointed by former President Ronald Reagan as the 13th chairman of the Federal Reserve, led the Central Bank for nearly 19 years, serving under presidents from Reagan through George W. Bush. His tenure was the second-longest in the institution’s history, surpassed only by William McChesney Martin, who led the Fed from 1951 to 1970.
Greenspan is credited with steering the United States’s monetary policy from the end of the Cold War to the start of the digital age. His tenure saw “Black Monday,” when the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 22%, the burst of the dot-com bubble, and 9/11. 
After leaving the Federal Reserve, Greenspan was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation&#8217;s highest civilian honor, by President George W. Bush.
Greenspan began his career on Wall Street as an equity research analyst at the investment bank Brown Brothers Harriman. He <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/news/obituaries/alan-greenspan-economist-longtime-head-federal-reserve-dies-100-rcna42286">served</a> as an informal domestic policy coordinator for Richard Nixon’s 1968 presidential campaign and officially entered public service under President Gerald Ford, as chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers from 1974 to 1977.
Reagan appointed Greenspan as Fed chairman in 1987. Greenspan developed a reputation for holding interest rates steady, particularly during periods of rapid technological innovation such as the age of the computer. He argued that a more accommodative monetary policy could help sustain economic growth and support productivity gains driven by technological advancement.
The Fed’s newest chairman, Kevin Warsh, <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/economy/policy/article/new-fed-chair-kevin-warsh-suggests-he-may-take-an-alan-greenspan-style-approach-at-the-central-bank-135046787.html">implied</a> he might take a similar approach with the onset of artificial intelligence. “Like Alan, I intend to fill the role of chairman with energy and purpose, just the way Chairman Greenspan did.” 
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who gets breakfast with Warsh every Friday morning, <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/economy/policy/article/new-fed-chair-kevin-warsh-suggests-he-may-take-an-alan-greenspan-style-approach-at-the-central-bank-135046787.html">said</a> earlier this year that, “The Fed needs to have merely an open mind. The open-minded maestro, former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan, resisted premature rate hikes during the technology boom of the 1990s — and history proved him right.” 
The Federal Reserve remembered his legacy in a statement early Monday morning. 
“The Federal Reserve notes with deep sadness the passing of Alan Greenspan. Chairman Greenspan served as the 13th Chairman of the Board of Governors from 1987 to 2006, and his contributions to monetary policy and economic thought left a lasting mark on this institution, on the broader field of economics, and on the country.” 
Former Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke, who succeeded Greenspan, also paid tribute to Greenspan. 
“He was a great central banker who helped lead his country through almost two decades of prosperity,” Bernanke said. “I always found him generous with his time and insights. We are still learning from him, even if he is no longer with us.”

The chief medical examiner of New York City confirmed on Tuesday that the senior vice president of skincare company Estée Lauder died after suffering a pulmonary embolism that was caused by a cosmetic injection. 
Kendal Ascher, 56, died suddenly in his husband William Howe’s arms back in February while in their $2.8 million New York City apartment. Ascher reportedly felt lightheaded while taking a shower before collapsing and going limp. Examiners ruled Ascher’s death “accidental.” 
It was revealed on Tuesday that his cosmetic fillers triggered a <a href="https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/pulmonary-embolism/symptoms-causes/syc-20354647">pulmonary embolism</a>, which occurs when a blood clot stops blood flow to an artery in the lungs. In Ascher’s case, it was the filler that stopped his blood flow.
“There was no pulse, he was immediately unresponsive, he died in my arms,” Howe <a href="https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15614765/kendal-ascher-estee-lauder-died.html">told</a> The Daily Mail. “It all happened within eight seconds.”
Howe was not aware of Ascher getting any cosmetic fillers immediately before his death, but he said that five months before the tragedy, the two of them got Botox together, which is not considered a filler.
Cosmetic filler is a gel-like substance that is injected beneath the skin to restore lost facial volume or help the patient appear more youthful, according to the <a href="https://www.americanboardcosmeticsurgery.org/cosmetic-procedures/non-surgical/injectable-fillers/">American Board of Cosmetic Surgery</a>. Facial fillers are received by more than five million men and women every year.
<a href="https://www.kennethmarkmd.com/meet-the-doctor">Dr. Kenneth Mark</a>, who did not work with Ascher but specializes in Botox and fillers, believed Ascher’s filler was accidentally injected into a blood vessel. 
He told the New York Post that deaths are “extremely rare” after receiving facial filler and “much more classically associated with larger volume injection of fat in the buttocks.” 
Cosmetic fillers are generally safe, but it is important to be treated by a board-certified plastic surgeon with FDA-approved products. 
“Kendal was one of a kind, full of passion and life,” said <a href="https://www.elcompanies.com/en/who-we-are/leadership/executive-leadership/jane-hertzmark-hudis">Jane Hertzmark Hudis</a>, Estée Lauder’s executive vice president and chief brand officer. “He brought the best to everyone he touched — his colleagues, his retail partners and, especially, his field team. When Kendal walked into a room, he lit it up. He was full of energy, kind and funny, and he had a heart of gold.”

Luis Felipe Feliciano Egoroff, 32, acknowledged he and fellow instructor Maicon Fernandes Cintra, 42, shared responsibility for rigging the safety line — but told investigators his memory simply went dark at the critical moment. &#8220;After that, it erased from my mind,&#8221; he said. Cintra, who was stationed at the rear holding Freitas by her feet, admitted the team routinely rotated who handled the rope, offering no clearer explanation for the catastrophic oversight.
&#8220;I simply cannot understand,&#8221; he told investigators.
The third instructor, Vitor de Freitas Gonçalves, 27, was called to assist the victim. He also told authorities the team has no idea what happened to the GoPro camera Freitas was given to record her jump.
A bystander filming the event caught the rope lying slack on the bridge deck as Freitas disappeared below the railing and could be heard screaming, &#8220;Guys, the rope!&#8221; Freitas <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/nurse-reveals-bungee-jumper-who-plunged-without-safety-cord-was-still-alive">survived</a> the initial impact. An off-duty nurse rushed down to help but was unable to save her.
&#8220;She wanted to be a physical education teacher,” her teacher Valdinei Barbosa <a href="https://g1.globo.com/sp/sao-paulo/noticia/2026/06/14/ela-queria-dar-aula-de-educacao-fisica-ex-professor-relembra-jovem-que-morreu-em-salto-de-rope-jump-no-interior-de-sp.ghtml">recalled</a>. “I always encouraged her, because she had the right aptitude for it.”
All three men were charged with homicide and are being held without bond. Investigators determined they were operating under the banner of informal businesses — unregistered, unauthorized to use the federally owned structure. When police arrived, two of the suspects had fled into nearby woods and had to be tracked down by a police helicopter.
Three additional individuals connected to the event were also detained for questioning and later released.

Workers Claim They ‘Can’t Remember’ When Asked Critical Question About Woman’s Fatal Bungee Jump

The 21-year-old woman who was killed after being thrown off a bridge without her bungee cord attached was reportedly found alive after a 131-foot fall. 
A bystander who is a nurse rushed to Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas after workers at Skeleton Bridge in Brazil made a catastrophic error, <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/06/15/world-news/bungee-jumper-who-plunged-from-130-foot-bridge-without-a-cord-was-still-alive-when-she-was-found-nurse-reveals/?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=nypost&amp;utm_source=twitter">according</a> to the New York Post. The nurse, Rayza Dias, said she had to climb down a steep, muddy slope to reach Rodrigues de Freitas, but when she did, she detected a weak pulse. 
“I even talked to her,” Dias said. “I have a habit of joking and saying, ‘Nobody dies on my shift,’ even though I wasn’t on my shift there.” 
Dias said reaching Rodrigues de Freitas was a challenge in itself. “I scraped my whole hand because there’s a steep slope down there and only one rope for us to climb down,” she said. 
Although Dias said Rodrigues de Freitas was still alive when she reached her, medical professionals pronounced Rodrigues de Freitas dead shortly after arriving on the scene.
The odds of surviving a fall from 131 feet are extremely low, but a study published in the Scandinavian Journal of Trauma, Resuscitation and Emergency Medicine <a href="https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3212924/">suggests</a> that what a person lands on — and how they land — can influence their chances of survival. The study examined a 28-year-old rock climber who survived an &#8220;unsurvivable&#8221; injury after falling 300 feet onto a solid rock surface, about 170 feet further than Rodrigues de Freitas fell. 
According to the report, the climber initially fell about 200 feet onto a flat rock surface, then fell a further 100 feet, which slowed and redirected her descent. Although she suffered devastating injuries to her legs, pelvis, and spine, her body position helped her avoid immediately fatal trauma to the head, brain, and heart because her lower body absorbed much of the impact. The report concluded that body positioning at the time of impact can play a crucial role in survivability.
Officials have not publicly disclosed Rodrigues de Freitas&#8217; body position at the time of impact.
Three bungee operators were <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/bungee-jumper-plunges-to-her-death-after-workers-make-horrifying-mistake?author=Brecca+Stoll&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=1&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Bungee+Jumper+Plunges+To+Her+Death+After+Workers+Make+Horrifying+Mistake">arrested</a> at the scene. Two of the three fled the scene but were later tracked down in the woods by a military helicopter. Feliciano Egoroff, one of the bungee jump operators charged in Rodrigues de Freitas&#8217; death, was seen in a <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/06/16/world-news/video-shows-brazilian-bungee-instructor-performing-terrifying-stunt-with-child-before-arrest-in-untethered-womans-fatal-plunge/">resurfaced video</a> from 2023 running off the bridge with a young child hugging him. Egoroff appeared to be attached to a safety rope while the child clung to him, but a chorus of social media users called the stunt irresponsible and called for an end to &#8220;these bizarre practices!&#8221; 
Brazilian police official Andrea Dantas Levy said the team wasn&#8217;t licensed: “It was a team there that wasn’t regulated; they didn’t even have authorization to be there. They ended up organizing this event, and this fatality happened today, in my perception, due to a failure to verify and supervise the placement of the rope on the victim’s jump.”

Iran executed two men Tuesday identified as leaders of the early 2026 anti-government unrest, the latest deaths in a sweeping campaign of state killings that belies any notion the Islamic Republic has moderated its repression of dissent.
The judiciary&#8217;s news outlet Mizan <a href="https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/iran-executes-two-men-over-role-january-2026-protests-judiciary-news-outlet-says-2026-06-16/">reported</a> that Javad Zamani and Abolfazl Saedi were put to death in Shahrud County after being convicted of &#8220;moharebeh&#8221; — waging war against God — along with corruption on earth, damaging public and private property, and crimes against national security. The head of the judiciary in Semnan province <a href="https://www.c14news.com/article/1467168">said</a> the two had used weapons and acted against &#8220;public order and security&#8221; during what authorities labeled the &#8220;armed unrest&#8221; of early 2026.
The executions drew immediate condemnation from human rights observers who noted the charges are the same religious and security statutes the regime has long deployed to criminalize protest and silence opposition. The convictions rely on charges rooted in Islamic penal law — a framework critics say is routinely weaponized to justify executions of political opponents while insulating the regime from accountability.
Tuesday&#8217;s hangings are far from isolated. According to a report from <a href="https://iranhumanrights.org/2026/04/irans-execution-machine-political-hangings-surge-as-dozens-face-imminent-death">the Center for Human Rights in Iran</a> at the end of April, at least 22 political prisoners were executed between March 17 and April 27 alone — roughly one every two days — the majority following proceedings marked by torture, forced confessions, and the complete exclusion of independent lawyers. Ten of those executed had been arrested during the January 2026 nationwide protests.
The scale of the crackdown has prompted comparisons to the Islamic Republic&#8217;s bloodiest period. &#8220;The use of the death penalty as a political tool on this scale has not been seen since the 1980s in Iran,&#8221; said Esfandiar Aban, director of research at the Center for Human Rights in Iran.
Among those reportedly awaiting execution are a 45-year-old mother of two, a 50-year-old carpenter who wept during his televised trial, a young man sentenced to death reportedly for a private phone conversation containing an alleged insult to a religious figure, and at least three teenagers — two of them 17 years old — whose death sentences have reportedly been upheld by Iran&#8217;s Supreme Court in apparent violation of international law.
The executions continue as some Western governments have explored diplomatic re-engagement with Tehran, operating on assumptions that the regime may have evolved. Rights advocates argue the evidence points in the opposite direction. Since Iran launched military operations on February 28, at least 4,000 additional arrests have been recorded, lawyers have been systematically blocked from representing defendants, and death sentences have in some cases been carried out before appeals could even be filed.
&#8220;Young people who took to the streets to demand their freedom are now being marched to the gallows,&#8221; Aban said. &#8220;This is retaliatory state violence, carried out methodically, one life at a time, in the hope that the world is too distracted to act.&#8221;

A 21-year-old woman was killed when she was thrown off a 130-foot bridge after workers at a popular jumping spot failed to attach a bungee cord to her on Saturday.
Maria Eduarda Rodrigues de Freitas fell to her death after workers tossed her off Skeleton Bridge in Limeira, Brazil, around 90 miles northwest of São Paulo. In a video posted on social media, a bystander is heard shouting, &#8220;Guys, the cord!&#8221; as Rodrigues de Freitas was already falling.

Authorities <a href="https://www.cbsnews.com/news/woman-dies-thrown-bridge-without-safety-cord-brazil/">told</a> the AFP, “The safety equipment was not properly secured at the time of the jump. The victim did not survive the fall.” Brazilian police arrested three men on charges of homicide with eventual intent, a legal concept in Brazil that applies when a person recognizes the possibility of death but accepts the risk anyway. Another three people were detained for questioning. 
Three of the men were arrested at the scene. Two other suspects allegedly <a href="https://nypost.com/2026/06/14/world-news/chilling-final-post-of-bungee-jumper-who-plummeted-to-death-after-she-was-thrown-with-no-cord/">fled</a> and were later located by helicopter in a wooded area near the bridge. 
A company called Ih Voei — which translates to &#8220;Whoa, I Flew!&#8221; — operated at Skeleton Bridge and has since removed its Instagram page. Another company, Entre Cordas — which translates to “between the ropes” — was also involved in the accident. It has not been confirmed whether either company was responsible for Rodrigues de Freitas&#8217; death.

Rodrigues de Freitas&#8217; fiancé witnessed the fatal fall, and he was later taken to the emergency room after he experienced sickness from watching the incident. Minutes before the jump, Rodrigues de Freitas posted on social media, &#8220;Who was the crazy person who let me jump off a bridge?&#8221;
