<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celine-dion">Celine Dion</a> made it clear she&#8217;s upset with former President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/donald-trump">Donald Trump’</a>s campaign after she said it used one of her songs at a rally in Montana on Friday.
In a post on Saturday on <a href="https://x.com/celinedion/status/1822347994223587506">X</a>, the 56-year-old Grammy winner’s management team on behalf of Dion and her record label released a statement about how her song, “My Heart Will Go On,” from the “Titanic” soundtrack, was played at the Trump-JD Vance rally in Bozeman on Friday.
“Today, Celine Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., became aware of the unauthorized usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing &#8216;My Heart Will Go On&#8217; at a Donald Trump / JD Vance campaign rally in Montana,” the statement read.  
“In no way is this use authorized, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use,” the statement added. “…And really, THAT song?”
The song became a massive number one hit for Dion in the 90s when it was connected to James Cameron’s “Titanic” movie, which blew up at the box office when it came out in 1997. It is one of the songs people most associate with the Canadian singer after it earned her numerous accolades.

During an interview with <a href="https://x.com/celinedionlcon/status/1800743043756437868">NBC News</a>’ Hoda Kotb, the 56-year-old singer opened up about being prescribed the drug so she could continue to perform while dealing with the debilitating symptoms with the autoimmune neurological disorder, which she said started as early as 2008, the <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/06/12/entertainment/celine-dion-took-up-to-90-milligrams-of-valium-battling-stiff-person-syndrome-it-could-kill-me/">New York Post</a> reported.
“We tried a lot of things. Trying a lot of things when you don’t know what you have can kill you,” Dion said. “I did not know, honestly, that it could kill me.”
“Ninety milligrams of Valium can kill you,” she added. “You can stop breathing. And at one point, the thing is that my body got used to it at 20 and 30 and 40 [milligrams], until it went up. And I needed that. It was relaxing my whole body.”
“But for how long?” Dion continued. “For two weeks, for a month? But then it doesn’t work anymore. More, more, more.”

“I did not question the level, because I don’t know medicine,&#8221; Dion said. &#8220;I thought it was going to be OK. It worked for a few days, for a few weeks, and then it doesn’t work anymore.”
“I did not understand that I could have gone to bed and stopped breathing,” she added. “And you learn — you learn through your mistakes.”

Dion said she wanted to make it clear she wasn’t taking the drug to “be high or to be stoned,” but to eliminate the symptoms.
&#8220;I have been as professional as can be through my whole life, a disciplined, hard-working person doing what I need to do for my voice to be in top shape,” the singer said.
She was officially diagnosed with SPS in August 2022, and the Canadian singer said that when she stopped taking the valium, the symptoms got worse. Dion ended up canceling several concerts and finally decided to share with her fans in December 2022 her diagnosis. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/celine-dion-reveals-heartbreaking-news-about-her-health" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stiff-Person Syndrome</a> is described as a progressive disease that leaves its victims as “human statues” who cannot walk or talk.
“You think of the simple things, you’re not thinking you’re gong to die,” Dion told Kotb. “You can have what looks like seizures. You don’t remember everything.”
During her NBC interview, the singer said she won’t let this disease stop her from performing again.
“I’m going to go back onstage, even if I have to crawl,” Dion said. “Even if I have to talk with my hands, I will. I will. I am Céline Dion, because today my voice will be heard for the first time, not just because I have to, or because I need to. It’s because I want to and I miss it.”

Céline Dion will detail her health struggles as part of the upcoming Amazon Prime Video documentary, “I Am: Céline Dion,” which premieres June 25.
The streaming giant just released the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/entertainment">documentary</a> trailer, giving insight into what personal details will be included. It will follow the Canadian-born singer as she lives with stiff-person syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological disorder. Dion halted her tour schedule and took a step back from public life in 2022 following her diagnosis. 
The trailer teases personal scenes from the singer’s life, giving fans, “raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness.”

“Directed by Academy Award nominee Irene Taylor, I AM: CELINE DION gives us a raw and honest behind-the-scenes look at the iconic superstar’s struggle with a life-altering illness,” the post shared on Instagram by Amazon, Dion, and the studio read.
“Serving as a love letter to her fans, this inspirational documentary highlights the music that has guided her life while also showcasing the resilience of the human spirit,” the post added.

She always worked hard.&#8221;
Claudette also mentioned that the “My Heart Will Go On” <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/celebrities">singer</a> would love to perform live again. &#8220;In what capacity? I don&#8217;t know,&#8221; she told the outlet. &#8220;The vocal cords are muscles, and the heart is also a muscle. This is what gets me.&#8221;

Though Celine has kept her battle with the disease mostly private, her sister has spoken about the singer’s health status before. In August, she said Celine is working with “top researchers,” but so far hasn’t seen much improvement.

The tour included shows in France, Belgium, Denmark, Poland and the U.K. A statement on her <a href="https://www.celinedion.com/news-en/celine-dion-european-courage-world-tour-announces-cancellation-of-remaining-shows-in-2023-and-2024/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">website</a> included a message that read, &#8220;We do have every hope that someday soon, Celine will be able to come to all of these cities in Europe to perform for her amazing fans, but that time simply is not now.&#8221;
The website also noted that those who bought tickets for the &#8220;forty-two cancelled dates&#8221; can receive a refund via the original point of sale.
