A woman who presents herself as a “priestess” — a role that does not exist in Christianity — just went viral. This priestess puts on a collar and a stole and pretends to be a priest. And to make the whole presentation even more satanic, she includes the Planned Parenthood logo on the priestly stole.
Here is her defense of the Left&#8217;s highest sacrament, abortion:

Okay, this is horrifying. 
But you have to give this murderous woman, this truly sacrilegious heretic, some credit for honesty. She is openly acknowledging something that most pro-abortion Christians will not: something sacred was going on in my womb when that baby was being knit there. 
She goes on to basically say, Jeremiah and Job describe being knit in the womb. And yeah, that&#8217;s all real. I totally grant that. And I felt it. I personally know it&#8217;s real — but I chose to kill my kids and I felt that that was cool too.
So, of course, the difference between real Christianity and a lot of pagan cults is that Christianity is a definitive religion. Our Lord is a real person who lives in real time and space and picks real people to build his Church with and upon, like Saint Peter, to whom he gave the keys to the kingdom of heaven and the power to bind and to loose. It is a religion that has real, visible authority in the world throughout history.
During that history, our Lord says, I will send the helper, I will send the Holy Spirit to you, and I will be with you always, even until the end of the age, because our Lord is the bridegroom and the Church is the bride. It is a real, definitive religion.
We can definitively say Christianity outlaws abortion.
We can definitively say Christianity has a real view of marriage, and it doesn&#8217;t change.
We can really say all of that.
And this woman kind of admits that, which is why you have to give her points for honesty. She says there was a divine thing happening when babies were being created in her womb. But she killed them anyway because her autonomy trumped even the spark of the divine. In other words, her autonomy trumps even God himself.

And it&#8217;s nuts when you hear it that way from a forthright liberal woman. But that is the premise of liberalism today — nothing is more important than my autonomy. I will make of myself the highest god.
We saw this in the Biden administration. Joe Biden believed he could be a liberal and a Christian, he was happy to do it. He called himself the most devout Catholic in the world. However, when his liberalism conflicted with his Christianity, he always chose liberalism.
And this is what liberalism tells us to do. We can believe a wide number of things. We can engage in a wide number of behaviors. We can even join many political parties. But the highest good is my autonomy. I&#8217;m really number one. I will make a god of myself. It&#8217;s a fulfillment of what the serpent promises to our first ancestors in the garden: “You will be like gods.”
You don&#8217;t have to listen to him.
And that&#8217;s what this woman is saying. It&#8217;s all the more shocking because she admits: Jeremiah and Job talk about the divine spark in the womb. I felt it too — and I killed them.
Press them on that.
Press the Democrats and the liberals on that: If you&#8217;re a Christian, what happens when Christianity contradicts your liberalism? Which side do you pick?

A major Catholic health system taught staff members how to be legally uncooperative with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in one of the hospital’s most prestigious lecture settings.
<a href="https://www.providence.org/locations/or/provider-resources-and-referrals/womens-health-provider-resources/professional-education" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Providence Health</a> hosted a virtual version of grand rounds — a weekly occurrence where leading doctors train other physicians and staff in crucial methodologies — aimed at providing better understanding of the “intense fear in which their immigrant patients are living” and taught staff how to be effective advocates during ICE encounters “within the boundaries of internal policy,” according to a <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ORacXqH8Jc9XuEcyZFzaZaqrsQ3Hpxuo/view?usp=sharing" target="_blank" rel="noopener">document</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA_zOzGQgyc&amp;list=PL5EjetDHODdNsYNrClwtvsJPyKCnke2BB&amp;index=13">recording</a> reviewed by The Daily Wire. After publication of this story, Providence removed the video from YouTube, where it was posted.
Erin McKee, co-founder of the <a href="https://www.ojrc.info/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Oregon Justice Resource Center</a>, presented during the one-hour webinar titled “Providence Women and Children&#8217;s Virtual Grand Rounds: Know Your Rights with ICE,” on January 29, 2026.
“When ICE is after you or your friends or family and you don&#8217;t want to help them, right? You&#8217;re not obligated to do that,” McKee said during the presentation. “If you think ICE is after you or your friends and family and you don’t want to help, your mindset should be don’t trust. They might not be telling you the truth. And ICE, ICE will often lie in order to get someone to move from maybe a private protected space to a public space where they can lawfully arrest them.&#8221;
Providence is a major health system with a Catholic heritage that spans six states and includes more than 125,000 employees, 51 hospitals, and 1,014 health clinics, according to its <a href="https://www.providence.org/about" target="_blank" rel="noopener">website</a>. It is unclear how many employees tuned in to grand rounds, but the session was open to the entire staff nationwide.

The Oregon Justice Resource Center suggests individuals follow a “Don’t Trust, Don’t Talk, Don’t Consent” model when approached by law enforcement, as stated on its <a href="https://www.ojrc.info/kyr" target="_blank" rel="noopener">website</a>.
McKee mocked <a href="https://www.dhs.gov/news/2026/02/04/dhs-sets-record-straight-administrative-warrants-and-american-public-support" target="_blank" rel="noopener">administrative warrants</a> used by ICE agents when arresting illegal migrants, calling them, “A paper that says, ‘Dear me, you can do whatever you want. Signed me.’ And then they’re like, ‘See, this paper says I can do whatever I want.’”
McKee encouraged hospital staff to call the <a href="https://pircoregon.org/about/what-to-do-if-you-see-ice" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition</a> (PIRC) hotline, an activist group that tracks ICE activity and provides a rapid response, if they came across ICE agents.
“And what happens is if you witness or observe ICE enforcement activity or suspected ICE enforcement activity, you call the hotline. PIRC will send a volunteer to that location to verify whether it is, in fact, ICE activity,” said McKee.
Dr. Kurt Miceli, medical director at Do No Harm, disagrees with the insertion of political activism into grand rounds.
“Grand Rounds have long been dedicated to clinical, medical, and scientific topics that directly advance patient care and research, not to political activism. The profession’s core responsibility is to care for patients, and presenting politically oriented content as Grand Rounds risks weakening professional focus, compromising institutional neutrality, and diminishing trust in the educational mission,” Miceli told The Daily Wire.
At the start of the presentation, a Providence Health staff member noted federal immigration enforcement was causing the community “deep pain.”
“I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the deep pain, fear and grief being felt across our communities in light of the recent escalation and federal immigration enforcement activity and the tragic fatal shootings of Renee [Good] and Alex [Pretti] in Minnesota,” said Kara Johnson, the senior director of women and children’s services at Providence, at the beginning of the session. After publication of this story, Johnson removed her LinkedIn profile.
Johnson’s remarks refer to Good and Pretti, two anti-ICE <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/alex-pretti-attacked-immigration-enforcement-days-before-fatal-shooting-video-shows" target="_blank" rel="noopener">protesters</a> killed by federal immigration officials in Minneapolis amid the Trump administration’s Operation Metro Surge. The deaths of Pretti and Good have led to massive protests in the Twin Cities and caused the Trump administration to <a href="http://dailywire.com/news/ice-agents-ordered-to-meet-this-democrat-demand?author=Jennie+Taer&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=1&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Some+ICE+Agents+Ordered+To+Cut+Back+On+Deportation+Tactic+Targeted+By+Dems%2C+Sources+Say" target="_blank" rel="noopener">rethink</a> its approach to deportations.
“These events have sent shock waves through immigrant communities and all who care about justice and safety. Many of our patients, our colleagues, and our neighbors are carrying heavy trauma right now,” said Johnson.
“Obviously federal agents are violating rights. We are watching it on TV. We are seeing them completely disregard the Constitution, any type of norms that have applied in law enforcement situations,” McGee stated.
After publication of this article, Providence defended the training session in a lengthy statement provided to The Daily Wire.

We serve members of our communities without regard to legal or socioeconomic status and believe that everyone deserves quality health care,&#8221; the organization said. &#8220;As a mission-driven organization, we have a special focus on those who are most vulnerable and know that immigrants, undocumented or not, face unique challenges. Our medical facilities are a place of healing where everyone can expect to be treated with compassion and respect.&#8221;
&#8220;Patients are never asked about their citizenship or legal status in order to receive medically necessary care, and we follow federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA, that protect the confidentiality, dignity and safety of every patient we serve. While law enforcement officials are permitted in public spaces including entrances, lobbies and waiting areas, pursuant to our longstanding practice they are not allowed to access private areas of our facilities unless we have the patient’s explicit consent or the requesting party presents the appropriate legal authority — such as continuing legal custody, valid subpoena, court order or judicial warrant. Caregivers have clear procedures to follow if law enforcement agents request access to patients or their information, consistent with federal and state patient privacy requirements, which prohibit disclosure of protected health information without proper authorization.&#8221;

New York Archbishop Cardinal Timothy Dolan delivered a stern rebuke of antisemitism and of those who invoke the Catholic faith while spreading hate, saying such behavior is “downright opposed” to the Church&#8217;s core teachings.
In an interview with Will Rahn of The Free Press, Dolan said Christians have a moral obligation to forcefully reject antisemitism.
“Catholic teaching is based on two pillars,” Dolan said. “The dignity of the human person and the sacredness of human life. Those are the two. And to hate somebody because of race or religion is just downright opposed to that.”
Dolan, a historian by training, offered a candid reflection of the Church&#8217;s past, acknowledging that Catholics have not always lived up to these standards.
“There have been times in the past that we, as Catholics, have not risen to the defense of our Jewish neighbors,” Dolan acknowledged. “There’s actually times in the past where we’ve been part of antisemitism. And so I’m thinking we can’t let that happen again.”
The conversation turned to the rise of online figures who claim Catholicism while promoting antisemitic rhetoric, specifically citing figures like Nick Fuentes. When asked what his message is to those who &#8220;spew horrible antisemitic things&#8221; in the name of the faith, the Cardinal did not mince words.
Invoking the words of Jesus, Dolan remarked, “Not every person who says, ‘Lord, Lord,’ is going to get into heaven, but only the ones who do the will of my Father. You may say you’re a Catholic; if you’re not doing the will of your Heavenly Father, you ain’t.”
The Cardinal concluded by asserting that faith requires integrity and a commitment to the dignity of all people.
“The will of your Heavenly Father is that, darn it, we all get along and treat each other with dignity and respect,” Dolan said. “So if you’re spewing hatred against the Jews, if you’re spewing hatred against the unborn baby in the womb, this isn’t the will of your Heavenly Father. So you better look long and hard to see if you can, with integrity, claim to be a Catholic.”

While more and more <a href="https://www.deseret.com/faith/2025/09/03/gen-z-millenials-faith-church-attendance/">young people</a> are searching for God, Catholic advocacy group CatholicVote is stepping up to meet the moment with the launch of its new platform, <a href="https://zeale.co/">Zeale</a>.
Zeale aims to put out high-quality, entertaining Catholic content – including news, podcasts, documentaries, and other special programming – while also building community and prayer life. And, most importantly, it promises to do so while never sacrificing depth or truth.
Surveys show folks in Gen Z are increasingly drawing closer to Christ, and churchgoers in this ever-online generation are actually more inclined to show up to service than other generations. Moreover, Catholic affiliation, in particular, is on the rise with young people.

The former president of Ireland, Mary McAleese, has claimed baptism denies babies their human rights.
Her comments were highlighted in an article in the <a href="https://www.irishtimes.com/opinion/2026/01/11/mary-mcaleese-baptism-is-a-key-catholic-recruitment-tool-it-denies-babies-their-human-rights/">Irish Times</a> with the headline: “Mary McAleese: Baptism denies babies their human rights.”
This woman is nominally Catholic, but doesn’t agree with the teaching or practice of the Catholic Church. I believe she is a canon lawyer, but somehow she was radicalized. She also says this is the real issue we need to focus on — the great injustice in the world today.

She’s not a prelate. She’s not a theologian. She’s a politician. And she says the real injustice, the real violation of human rights in our world, is not immigration, not foreign policy, not the economy, not how we treat the poor. It’s not even abortion, the wholesale slaughter of little babies, no — it’s baptism.
It’s difficult to see how one arrives at that conclusion or that obsession without demonic influence. Now, I’m not someone who says there’s a demon under every rock. We live in a world where the material and immaterial are not totally separable, nevertheless, I’m not demon-hunting all the time.

It’s very difficult to understand how the former president of Ireland can say the great human rights violation of our time is baptizing babies. Because it is supposedly “bad.&#8221;
One could try to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you could argue that infant baptism is technically a violation of human rights because, after the Fall, humans deserve death. Sin and death pervade the world, and in our fallen nature what we deserve is death, and baptism saves us from death.
Many people have different views of baptism, but you do see it in Scripture. Our Lord <a href="https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2019%3A14&amp;version=RSVCE">says</a>, “Let the little children come to Me.” You see baptisms of children in the book of Acts multiple times. In 1 Peter 3:21, <a href="https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Peter%203%3A20-22&amp;version=NKJV">Saint Peter essentially says</a> baptism now saves you. There are many theological discussions about what that means exactly, but baptism is what demarcates us as Christians. Plenty of people disagree with infant baptism, but it is the traditional practice of the Catholic Church.
But setting those theological debates aside, the closest one could get to her argument is that baptism denies babies their human rights insofar as it saves them from the consequences of the Fall of man. And that’s a good thing. Isn’t that a good thing?
My last point: this woman, who says baptism violates babies’ human rights, supports abortion. She supports legally murdering babies in the womb, but not baptizing them once they are born. The only way to reach that conclusion is either to follow the perversity of liberalism to its end, or through demonic influence. I don’t see any other explanation.
And it really makes me raise an eyebrow at other Left-wing politicians.

There is a nice Kanye pop gospel song behind the video. She appears to be in either an Anglican or Episcopalian church and it&#8217;s a full immersion baptism in a bathtub. Her caption reads, “A day to remember forever.”
Now, some people are accusing her of being cynical. So why do I think she’s sincere? First of all, as you will see, she does not sound cynical to me. But even if she is, I always like to be on the side of credulity when it comes to these matters. Not to the point of absurdity, of course, but I always want to be on the side of grace when it comes to these things.

Well, turns out she recently did <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/why-onlyfans-star-lily-phillips-decided-to-be-rebaptized-excl/">an interview with US Weekly</a> where she explained her actions, saying:

So right off the bat, there is a major problem: you can&#8217;t get rebaptized. Baptism happens once. The Nicene Creed actually states this. All of the flavors of Christianity, even ones that are a little far flung from Orthodoxy, at the very least recognize the statement in the Creed that says, “I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.” It’s one baptism, not two.
The reason you are only baptized once is that baptism is not a personal action of yours. Baptism is an action of God the Holy Spirit. It&#8217;s the grace of God coming down — and God doesn&#8217;t make mistakes. God doesn&#8217;t act insufficiently. It works. When God acts on you, when you are baptized, that leaves an indelible mark on your soul.
People do not have to be rebaptized. It&#8217;s like gay marriage — you can&#8217;t. Why? Because the sacrament works. But in our fallen, broken human life, we just feel like we need to do something more sometimes, and we get it wrong. But I get why people do it.
What she&#8217;s saying is, &#8220;I felt a calling to God,&#8221; and she reacted to that in a way that is silly at best and contrary to the religion at worst. But I think it comes from a good place, and I know other people who have done it.
She <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/why-onlyfans-star-lily-phillips-decided-to-be-rebaptized-excl/">goes on</a>:
<blockquote>I definitely need to do that because I think that there are a lot of Christian girls who are in this industry … but people might not know it and they might not feel comfortable talking about it because of the judgment.</blockquote>
I totally believe that. I totally believe that there are a lot of girls who are baptized Christians who feel a pull toward Christianity, toward God, who work in pornography and all sorts of disreputable fields. Whether we&#8217;re talking about prostitution or whether we&#8217;re talking about law and finance — I&#8217;m sure there are all sorts of people who feel a tension between the work that they do and religious truth. However, here&#8217;s where it gets a little dicey, and I think this is why some people are attacking Lily Phillips. 
She <a href="https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/why-onlyfans-star-lily-phillips-decided-to-be-rebaptized-excl/">says</a>, 
<blockquote>I’m definitely not claiming to be a traditional Christian at all. Obviously, I’m not against gay marriage. I am also pro-choice. So I definitely don’t have, necessarily, traditional values. But that doesn’t mean to say that I can’t be Christian. I would just hope that the Christian community welcomes me, because I guess everyone’s relationship with God is bespoke to them.</blockquote>
I think there are a lot of people who feel this way, at least in the early stages of their conversion. But we have to clear up a few things, so let’s break this down.
She says, “I’m not against gay marriage.”
Christianity does not permit so-called gay marriage. It is contrary to the Christian faith. The weird sex stuff broadly is contrary to the Christian faith. And even beyond questions of religious revelation, it just comes down to basic logic: two opposing things cannot be simultaneously true in the same respect, as per the law of non-contradiction. So, no, inasmuch as you believe these things of the world, you are opposing the Christian faith.
She says, “I am also pro-choice.”
The church, since the very beginning, has opposed abortion. You can see proscriptions against abortion in the UK, the very first catechism of the church, all the way back in antiquity, just after the Apostolic Age. You can&#8217;t do it. You can say that you&#8217;re Christian and you can say that you support killing babies, but those things are diametrically opposed. They&#8217;re totally in conflict with each other.
She then says, “So I definitely don’t have, necessarily, traditional values.”
What do we mean by “traditional values”? Are we talking about the traditions of China? No. Are we talking about the Chinese—some different values than we do here? Are we talking about the traditions of Islam, the caliphate? No. When we talk about traditional values in the English language, generally, we&#8217;re talking about the Christian tradition that built our civilization. So if you say, I&#8217;m Christian, but I don&#8217;t have Christian values, that&#8217;s confusing. She sounds confused by the twin darkness into which we are all born — ignorance and sin.
She says, “And I just hope the Christian community welcomes me.” 
We will welcome you. I will welcome you, at least. But not on your terms. But we will welcome you. We&#8217;re not going to force you to do something that is maybe extremely difficult or impossible for you to do. We&#8217;re not expecting you to radically transform everything about your life all at once, but if you want us to welcome you, that means you have to come to the church, which means you have to give your assent to the church.
If two things are going to join together, one of them has to change. The thing that&#8217;s going to change is not going to be the church. It&#8217;s going to have to be you, which is true for all of us.
Every time we go into church, every time we go into confession, every time we go to receive the Blessed Sacrament, every time we go to mass, every time we go into a chapel to pray, we are imperfect — all of us. And when we go there, we are saying, “I want to be transformed by you, Lord.” I don&#8217;t want you and your holy institution to be transformed into myself.
She says, “I guess everyone&#8217;s relationship with God is bespoke to them.”
True, but God is the same for everyone. Everyone&#8217;s relationship with God is bespoke. It&#8217;s not off the rack. It&#8217;s not one size fits all. You&#8217;re right about that. But God is the same for everyone because God is objectively real. He&#8217;s the real God. That&#8217;s why you believe in him in the first place. And yet a lot of people want to make false gods for themselves.
She goes on to say, “I&#8217;m going to take more of a backseat in work and stuff like that, just to really prioritize this.” 
Well, by work she means prostitution. She means pornography. She&#8217;s not going to give it up entirely yet, apparently. Too bad. 
But she does say, “I&#8217;m going to prioritize religion.” Good, love that. 
She then says,
<blockquote>Even though I travel so much, I don&#8217;t necessarily go to church a lot because I&#8217;m traveling, but it doesn&#8217;t mean I can&#8217;t pray and I can&#8217;t practice my religion outside of church. So I will definitely be doing that and taking that forward.</blockquote>
Well, you have an obligation to go to church on Sunday. You have an obligation to do that even if you&#8217;re not feeling it and don&#8217;t want to. You have an obligation to at least do that. You have other obligations too. But she&#8217;s right — you can pray outside of church, and you should. You have to live your faith all the other days of the week too. That&#8217;s true. However, when you don&#8217;t go to church, when you don&#8217;t practice your faith, when you sanction these kinds of awful things that are so harmful to people, you are making a choice to move away from God.
So, what should we do about the Lily Phillips conversion? Should we make her the Archbishop of Canterbury right away? Probably not. Should we put her on the podcast circuit? In this case, probably not just yet. This could take a little while.
Should we say you don&#8217;t have to change anything about yourself or what you believe to be a real, practicing Christian? No. She&#8217;s got to change, but I think we should encourage her.
This is my message to Lily Phillips: This is great news. Wonderful. I love it. I love hearing that this is happening for you. But you have got to keep going, young lady. You were in a very, very bad place and now, by God’s grace, you have apparently taken a step to get out.
It&#8217;s going to be a long journey, but God will be with you the whole way. So just keep going.

Pope Leo will host several Hollywood celebrities at the Vatican this weekend.
The first-ever American pope, elected as head of the Catholic Church in a May conclave, will host the group on November 15. 
The guest list includes Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett, &#8220;Severance&#8221; star Adam Scott, Oscar-winning filmmaker Spike Lee, actor Chris Pine, director George Miller, director Gus Van Sant, actress Alison Brie, actor/filmmaker Dave Franco, &#8220;The Lord of the Rings&#8221; actor Viggo Mortensen, and &#8220;American History X&#8221; director Tony Kaye.
The pope &#8220;has expressed his desire to deepen dialogue with the world of cinema &#8230; exploring the possibilities that artistic creativity offers to the mission of the Church and the promotion of human values,&#8221; the Vatican said in a statement.
The event was coordinated by the Vatican’s culture office as part of the Catholic Church&#8217;s ongoing Holy Year.
The Vatican also noted several of Pope Leo’s favorite films in the statement. Those include “It’s a Wonderful Life” (1946), “The Sound of Music” (1965), “Ordinary People” (1980), and “Life Is Beautiful” (1997).
Papal events don’t usually include Hollywood celebrities, but it’s not an unprecedented move. The late Pope Francis hosted an event featuring famous comedians at the Vatican in June 2024. Guests included late-night hosts Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Fallon.
The pontiff also <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15275215/Robert-DeNiros-daughter-meets-Pope-Leo-breaks-silence-son-Leandros-overdose-death.html">met with</a> actor Robert DeNiro and his daughter, Drena, who lost her son in an accidental overdose, last weekend.
Pope Leo was born in Chicago, and according to one family member, he previously spent time doing two things that many Americans will instantly recognize. The pope’s brother, John Provost, said that the head of the Catholic Church enjoys playing Wordle and also watched the Academy Award-winning film, “Conclave.”

WASHINGTON—The man who was apprehended with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/man-with-200-explosives-and-leftist-manifesto-arrested-outside-supreme-court-event-at-church-police" target="_blank" rel="noopener">more than 100 explosive devices</a> outside a Washington, D.C., church holding a service historically attended by Supreme Court justices had previously written statements that specifically referenced the service.
The “Red Mass” is an annual event held each year by the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, wherein the parish prays for the High Court at the beginning of a new term.
Louis Geri appeared in D.C. Superior Court for a preliminary hearing Thursday after he was arrested Sunday outside the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle during the &#8220;Red Mass”, an annual service herein the parish prays for the High Court at the beginning of a new term. Last year&#8217;s Red Mass was attended by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett, along with 1,000 others.
Geri allegedly handed police a nine-page manifesto detailing grievances against <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/man-with-200-explosives-and-leftist-manifesto-arrested-outside-supreme-court-event-at-church-police" target="_blank" rel="noopener">the Supreme Court, ICE, Catholics, and Jews</a>.
A woman who appeared to have some sort of relationship with Geri watched the proceedings from the gallery. Geri nodded his head in her direction upon entering the courtroom and, upon his exit, she spoke with his attorney about returning for subsequent proceedings later this month.
When weighing the evidence presented today, Judge Heide Herrmann considered footage showing Geri setting up a green tent on the steps of the church the night before the Mass.

In response to defense counsel&#8217;s argument that Geri’s actions were limited to simple possession of explosives, Judge Herrmann referenced the previous night’s footage, stating, “This shows a plan, beyond mere possession.”
Judge Herrmann also noted Geri’s written statements referenced wanting to take down targets such as the White House and Washington Monument.
The FBI’s preliminary testing has confirmed Geri’s weapons fit their definition of destructive devices.
Geri described his explosives to officers “as rockets capable of taking out helicopters” and consisting of “nitromethane among other explosive chemicals.” He further described them as “a proprietary formula.”
Geri allegedly gathered materials for his explosives in Arkansas before driving up to D.C.
“It appears that was part of the idea — to endanger that number of people at a high-visibility event,&#8221; Judge Herrmann said. Referring to Geri’s continued confinement, she added, “There are no conditions which I could set that would reasonably guarantee the safety of the community.”
Due to security concerns, the sitting Supreme Court justices did not attend this year’s “Red Mass.”
Sunday’s threat is the latest example of the disturbing upward trend in political violence.
In 2022, Nicholas Roske attempted to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Just last Friday, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/transgender-man-who-planned-to-assassinate-brett-kavanaugh-gets-off-easy-will-serve-just-8-years" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Roske was sentenced</a> to eight years in prison. Federal guidelines call for a 30-year minimum. Judge Deborah Boardman, appointed by Joe Biden to the Maryland federal court, noticed the “whopping 22-year difference.”

Jesus Christ always spoke and acted out of love, but He never sugar-coated the truth. His words, beliefs, and actions offended so many people that His enemies ultimately executed Him because of them. And He warned his followers, “If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first” (John 15:18).
That warning must have been tough for His disciples to hear. It’s tough for us to hear now.
Yet, we’ve seen that special hatred reserved for people of faith at work in the recent attack on Catholic children and teachers in Minnesota and the assassination of Charlie Kirk in Utah.
This brand of hatred is oddly impersonal. It’s aimed at truth itself — maybe, at Truth Himself — and all who dare to speak the truth to people who “preferred darkness to light” (John 3:19).
How did our culture get to this place?
Not so long ago, men and women of courage, integrity, and firmly held religious convictions drew praise and admiration. Today, they are labeled “haters” who must be silenced, stopped, even killed — just for believing truth exists outside of what you and I think. For believing truth is rooted in God, objective, and binding for all peoples for all time. For daring to defend religious views on human gender and sexuality or the dignity of unborn children.
To those who have bought into the lie that we can and should “live our own truth,” we who hold these religious convictions are the problem. But it is not religious conviction that is harming society; it is the lack of it. Our culture has never been more secular, and it has never faced so many problems. Why can’t we be honest and admit that pushing God to the margins has been an absolute disaster?
We see this in the collapse of family life, the breakdown of marriage, children being raised without fathers and mothers, and the epidemic of loneliness that leaves so many people isolated and despairing.
At the same time, there has never been a greater acceptance and celebration of lifestyles that run contrary to faith. Yet, instead of producing the promised peace or joy, they make the problems facing young people — anxiety, depression, and despair — far worse. And remarkably, the faithless double down and blame these issues on religion.
Our darkness will never turn to light until we accept the fact that these struggles are fundamentally and profoundly spiritual rather than political. The more we reject God, the more our culture’s anger, confusion, and despair will deepen. We don’t need less of God — we need more.
If the world were not so gripped by darkness, we might see more clearly that what we are doing is not working. Humanity has lost its way, but Christ came to rescue us because of His deep love. Still, many prefer darkness. The Gospel unmasks us and calls us to change. In the end, we must choose: to step into the light or to cling to the shadows.
Immaculée Ilibagiza, a survivor of the Rwandan genocide, chose the light.
I met with Immaculée the day after Charlie Kirk was assassinated, and though neither of us knew him personally, we spoke sadly of his loss as a defender of the truth.
We also spoke at length about her life’s tragedy: in 1994, after 91 harrowing days in hiding, Immaculée emerged to learn her entire family, except for one brother, had been brutally murdered along with nearly one million of her friends, neighbors, and countrymen. But, by God’s grace, she chose forgiveness and love as her path forward through the sorrow, anger, and unspeakable loss.
Today, Immaculée shares her story as a means of helping others overcome hatred with love through conversion of heart. She radiates the light of Christ, and her life’s story is a witness to the beauty of the truth.
May we, like her, take hope in the promise of the Gospel: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). May this same light shine once again, breaking through our shadows and darkness, bringing God’s peace, presence, and love to our country and our world.

A 38-year-old Alabama man who traveled to Southern California with a cache of weapons and ammunition, claiming to be the &#8220;Angel of Death,&#8221; was arrested after threatening a Catholic monastery, according to prosecutors.
Joshua Michael Richardson was charged on Wednesday with felony criminal threats and possession of six high-capacity gun magazines, brass knuckles, and a sword, the Los Angeles Times <a href="https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-09-04/heavily-armed-angel-of-death-from-alabama-charged-with-threatening-socal-church">reported</a>. Richardson sent a disturbing email to St. Michael’s Abbey in Silverado Canyon, California, on August 19, saying that he was &#8220;rider of the pale horse,&#8221; who personifies death in the book of Revelation, and threatening to &#8220;do the Lord&#8217;s reaping&#8221; at the monastery. He also claimed to be Michael the Archangel, the &#8220;Angel of Death,&#8221; from the Bible, according to prosecutors.
Silverado Canyon is a small, unincorporated community in eastern Orange County, nestled within the Santa Ana Mountains about 55 miles southeast of downtown L.A.
Along with the high-capacity magazines and sword, investigators also discovered knives, body armor, and a stun gun in Richardson&#8217;s truck. It does not appear that the Alabama man had a firearm in his possession when he was arrested.
The L.A. Times reported that Richardson allegedly attended a service at St. Michael’s Abbey on August 26 and then followed the priest into a private area. He told the priest that “he came to do the Lord’s work, to separate the weak from the weeds, and that he rode his white pale horse from Alabama,” prosecutors said.
Richardson reportedly added that he wanted to target St. Michael&#8217;s Abbey because it still celebrates Michaelmas, which recognizes St. Michael with a feast on September 29. The Orange County Sheriff’s Department received a report about the threats two days after Richardson attended the service at the monastery, and arrested him. He is being held without bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
Law enforcement urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
&#8220;While incidents like this can feel unsettling, they also highlight the power of community. If something seems off, say something. Trust your instincts and report suspicious activity, whether it is a strange message, unusual behavior, or something that does not sit right,&#8221; the sheriff&#8217;s department said.
“No one should have to worship in fear that a stranger would walk through the door with the intent to carry out their own day of judgment and determine who lives and who dies,” added Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer. “A threat on one house of worship is an attack on every place of worship, and we refuse to allow threats and terror to dissuade any person from practicing their faith without fear.”
Richardson was arrested shortly after a Catholic school in Minneapolis was attacked by a trans-identifying shooter. FBI Director Kash Patel <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kash-patel-says-minneapolis-school-shooting-was-an-act-of-domestic-terrorism">said</a> that the Minneapolis shooter, identified as 22-year-old Robin Westman, held anti-Catholic and antisemitic views. Westman killed two children and wounded more than a dozen others after opening fire at Annunciation Catholic School during Mass last Wednesday.

‘Angel Of Death’: Man Arrested After Threatening Catholic Monastery, Traveling With Cache Of Weapons

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said Thursday that the FBI was assisting local law enforcement in reviewing the writings of the transgender-identifying male shooter who opened fire at Annunciation Catholic School during a school Mass held at the church building on Wednesday. 
O’Hara gave the update during an <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lg5XSySV-a0">interview</a> on NBC’s “Today” show, where he discussed the latest development in the investigation into the attack that left two children dead and 17 others injured. The gunman has <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/what-we-know-about-the-trans-identifying-gunman-who-slaughtered-catholic-school-children?author=Mary+Margaret+Olohan&amp;category=undefined&amp;elementPosition=10&amp;row=3&amp;rowHeadline=Latest+News&amp;rowType=Vertical+Carousel&amp;title=What+We+Know+About+The+Trans-Identifying+Gunman+Who+Slaughtered+Catholic+School+Children">been identified</a> as “Robin Westman,” a 23-year-old man who identified as a woman and previously went by Robert.
Police say that Westman killed himself after he shot through the windows of the Annunciation Church, where students were attending a morning Mass. O’Hara said that police were still investigating Westman and examining what he had left behind. 
“We recovered literally hundreds of pieces of evidence in total that we have to go through. There is some additional writings, I would say, that the FBI is helping us go through,” O’Hara said. 
“Everything that we have seen so far is really a classic pathway to an active shooter,” he added. “We have seen a whole lot of hate against a whole variety of people and what we have seen so far, but nothing specific to point to as the motive for targeting this church and this particular incident.”
FBI Director Kash Patel announced Wednesday that the FBI was investigating the shooting as domestic terrorism and a hate crime against Catholics.
In previously reported writings, Westman discussed assassinating President Donald Trump, fantasized about killing children, expressed hatred toward Jewish people, and ranted about his transgender identity.
“The focus remains trying to go through everything that we possibly can, following all of the evidence to its logical conclusion to try and determine what potential motive there actually is for this shooting,” O’Hara said, saying police would try to provide answers as quickly as possible. 
He said that police would likely apply for additional electronic warrants to search through the shooter’s devices.
O’Hara also said that they believed the gunman used to be a member of the church and attend the school there. It was previously reported that Westman’s mother worked at the school. 
All of those injured during the attack are expected to survive, though some are still in critical condition, O’Hara said. He also praised the church for having security guidelines that he said helped save lives. 
“Also thankfully, due to the procedures that the school had in place, that the church had in place, after the Mass had begun, the doors to the church were locked. So this coward had to fire from outside of the church, through the church windows and into the church. And we believe him not being able to get into the church likely saved countless lives,” O’Hara also said. 
During the Biden administration, the FBI also aided in the investigation into the March 2023 attack on The Covenant School in Nashville by a transgender-identifying female. During that investigation, the FBI suppressed writings that the attacker left behind, arguing that they would lead to conspiracy theories.

The man who shot and killed two Catholic children and injured 17 other people at a Minneapolis Catholic school has been identified by authorities as “Robin Westman,” a transgender-identifying 23-year-old who posted radical videos in the hour before his attack.
This individual identified as a woman and changed his name from Robert Westman to Robin Westman in 2020, <a href="https://x.com/peterjhasson/status/1960758053625627109">as The Washington Free Beacon’s Peter Hassan reported</a>. Court filings show that Westman’s mother signed off on the name change, since her son was a minor, and the documents state that Westman “identifies as a female and wants her name to reflect that identification.”
On Wednesday morning, around 8:30 am, Westman fired through the windows of the Annunciation Catholic School’s church in Minneapolis as students attended daily mass on their first day of school. He killed two children, ages 8 and 10, injuring 17 others before he shot himself in the parking lot, according to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara.

Video footage obtained by The Daily Wire shows that YouTube user “Robin W” posted a disturbing video on Wednesday morning with the caption, “so long and thanks for all the fish.” That video shows an individual thumbing through a notebook filled with Russian and English journal entries, as well as pictures of guns, diagrams of his attacks, and a transgender “defend equality” flag sticker.
Throughout the video, he mutters, whispers, and giggles in a disturbing fashion.
As the video concludes, Westman appears to thumb through the pages of his notebook as he whispers, “I can’t deal with this anymore &#8230; I can’t do this anymore &#8230; I have to go, I have to go&#8230;”

He pans with the camera to a page in his notebook where it’s written in big English scrawl, “Sick fuck, sick fuck, murderer hahahahaha villain,” as he whispers aloud, “Oh my God,” and gives a middle finger to the page, before grabbing what appears to be a pistol off his desk and pressing it into the page of the book.
He then whimpers and mutters twice in a whisper, “My family. My family,” as he pans to a page that concludes, “The End,” and says, “I’m so sorry.”
He shows his room, whispering, “I’m all packed up &#8230; I don’t know what else to say. It’s over. It’s over. It’s all over.” He then mutters something about whether he will make it “to tomorrow,” before whispering, “Pray for me, I love you all.”
This was just one of many disturbing moments in the videos posted to the account, which YouTube removed on Wednesday afternoon with the help of the FBI, O’Hara confirmed. YouTube has not responded to requests for comment from The Daily Wire.
The New York Post&#8217;s Diana Glebova <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/08/27/us-news/robin-westman-mused-about-slaughtering-filthy-zionist-jews-in-sick-journal-before-deadly-catholic-school-shooting/">translated the journal</a> and found that Westman repeatedly discussed his hatred for Jews as well.
“If I will carry out a racially motivated attack, it would be most likely against filthy Zionist jews,” he wrote in one entry, according to the New York Post, adding in another entry: “I hate those entitled, penny-sniffing k-kes,&#8221; and in another, &#8220;6 million wasn&#8217;t enough,&#8221; referring to the number of Jewish Holocaust victims. He also wrote a message about destroying &#8220;HIAS,&#8221; a Jewish refugee aid group, and one of his guns read, “Israel must fall, release the files.&#8221;
Westman also wrote about assassinating President Donald Trump as well as the Jews. But the deceased shooter reflected that killing “children of innocent civilians” would give him “the most joy.&#8221;
“For good would be a target or political or societal significance. Targets like Musk, Trump or some significant exec,” he wrote, adding in another entry:  “I can’t really put my finger on a specific purpose. It definitely won’t be for racism or white supremacy.&#8221;
“While I don’t really like being around people of color, I don’t give enough of a shit about them to take my life for them,&#8221; he wrote, according to the New York Post.
Westman also wrote that he had been suicidal for a number of years. He wrote of his shooting plans:  “I don’t want to [do] it to spread a message. I do it to please myself. I do it because I am sick&#8230;I don’t think I could just take myself out. I would need to do something with my final act.&#8221;
Other videos on the YouTube page examined by The Daily Wire show that “Robin W” had an obsession with shooters, including the Sandy Hook shooter who killed 20 children and six school staffers before killing himself. He also drew a sketch of the Annunciation Church.

On Wednesday afternoon, FBI Director Kash Patel shared that the FBI is “investigating this shooting as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics.”
“There were 2 fatalities, an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old,” he said. “In addition, 14 children and 3 adults were injured. The shooter has been identified as Robin Westman, a male born as Robert Westman. The FBI will continue to provide updates on our ongoing investigation with the public as we are able.”

Westman was carrying a rifle, shotgun, and pistol, and killed himself after firing “dozens of rounds” at innocent children, according to O’Hara. Police believe the shooter fired all three weapons, and said that he barricaded the students and staff in the church by placing a wooden plank against some of the side doors, in an attempt to prevent them from fleeing.
One adult and six children are in critical condition, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/08/27/us/minneapolis-church-shooting/4bb55715-d5ea-591a-8eb6-cbd06d35e4b2?smid=url-share" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to the Hennepin County Medical Center, although Chief O’Hara <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/08/27/us/minneapolis-church-shooting/a5118dd0-6000-5848-9f75-60df224820ee?smid=url-share">said</a> the children wounded in the shooting were all expected to survive.

Westman is the second trans-identifying killer to target school children in recent years. A trans-identifying shooter <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/covenant-shooters-entire-diary-published-revealing-obsession-with-white-privilege-transgenderism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">killed three children and three adults</a> at Covenant Christian School in Nashville in March 2023.
President Joe Biden’s FBI would claim that it withheld the shooter’s 100-page journal in the name of public safety, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/fbi-told-nashville-police-release-of-school-shooter-writings-would-lead-to-conspiracy-theories-inaccurate-info" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suggesting that the manifesto would lead</a> to “conspiracy theories” and “inaccurate information.” The Tennessee Star published the shooter’s entire journal, and the writings <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/covenant-shooters-entire-diary-published-revealing-obsession-with-white-privilege-transgenderism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">revealed</a> that the shooter was obsessed with ideas of transgenderism and white privilege, and frequently wrote about her autism and depression.
