A 69-year-old woman took matters into her own hands after she caught her 65-year-old husband renewing his subscription of video pornography that she had canceled: she shot her husband in the head.
Patricia Hill, of Jefferson County, Arkansas, has been charged with the capital murder of her husband, Frank Hill. According to the police statement, Patricia Hill waived her rights and agreed to speak with investigators. She told them she arrived home and later walked to the utility shed to confront her husband. She said she had discovered that her husband had purchased video pornography via the television guide, an order that she canceled, but her husband had placed a subsequent order.
Patricia Hill said that when she entered the shed, she told her husband to leave, but he refused, prompting her to return inside her home where she grabbed a .22 caliber pistol. A short time later, she entered the shed and shot her husband twice, once in the leg and once in the head. Immediately following the shooting, she put the gun back inside her home and called 911.
When deputies arrived, Patricia Hill was standing in the front yard. Paramedics were alerted, but Frank Hill was pronounced dead a short time later as a result of his injuries.
Patricia Hill is currently being held at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center without bond on felony probable cause for capital murder.
