Country music legend Willie Nelson announced on Tuesday that he’ll celebrate his 90th birthday with a star-studded summer concert tour headlining music festivals across the United States.
“I can’t wait to be on the road with the amazing group of artists joining us on this year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour,” Nelson said in a press release. “It is always a great day of music and fun with family, friends and the incredible fans, and even more special this year in celebration of my 90th birthday.”
The 89-year-old country singer will appear in pavilions, festivals, and theaters from June through August this summer, the New York Post reported. Nelson will be joined by such stars as Chris Stapleton, John Fogerty, Margo Price, and many more.
Founded in 2016 by Nelson, “Outlaw Music Festival was a one-time event before eventually transitioning to its current annual touring festival,” a message on the ticket site read.
“The festival begins in June in St. Louis, finishing up in Philadelphia in September. Willie Nelson and Family will headline each date while being joined by a host of musicians, like Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, ZZ Top, Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osbourne, and more,” the message on the site added.

The festival dates kick off on June 23 in Somerset, Washington, with stops in Dallas, Philadelphia, and St. Louis, before it comes to a conclusion in Cincinnati, Ohio, on August 30. For tickets and more information fans can check out OutlawMusicFestival.com.
The tour will take place after the “On The Road Again” hitmaker celebrates his birthday closer to the actual date, with a two-day show in California at the Hollywood Bowl on April 29 and April 30. The celebration will include people like Neil Young, Snoop Dogg, and Kacey Musgraves, the outlet noted.
The country singer also has other dates planned in North America where he will perform solo. Those shows take place between April 14 through the end of May where he will be hitting venues and occasionally sharing headlining duties with the likes of Jelly Roll and ZZ Top.
