“Will and Grace” star Leslie Jordan’s cause of death has finally been revealed three months after news broke that the actor was found without a pulse inside his crashed car. He was 67.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office announced on Thursday that Jordan suffered a “sudden cardiac dysfunction and arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease” on October 24, Yahoo Entertainment reported.

The coroner’s report went on to state that it was brought on by arteriosclerosis, “a condition commonly called hardening of the arteries,” according to Mayo Clinic. One of the star’s arteries was 50% blocked while another was 80% blocked, the outlet noted.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ at the time that the “American Horror Story” star was driving in Hollywood when he crashed his BMW into the side of a building. There was speculation at the time that the accident was the result of some kind of medical emergency, as previously reported.

Jordan was probably best known for his role as Beverly Leslie on the hit NBC show “Will and Grace.” However, the actor had a long career on the stage and small screen. Other shows he was involved in include “Hearts Afire,” “The Cool Kids,” “Call Me Kat,” “Star Trek: Voyager,” “Murphy Brown,” and many more.

He won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in 2006 for his role on “Will and Grace.”

Following reports of his death, celebrities shared tributes about the star.

“There aren’t words to convey the loss we are experiencing as a cast and as a Call Me Kat family. Leslie Jordan was larger than life. He was a Southern gentleman; tender, wise, naughty, and hilarious,” Mayim Bialik, the star of “Call Me Kat,” said in a statement.

Jordan also had a huge following on social media that he grew during the pandemic. In the last video he posted to his Instagram before he died, he shared “Sunday Mornin’ Hymn Singin.'”

He captioned the post, “Danny [Myrick] helped me with a new original song that should be comin’ out real soon. Love. Light. Leslie.”
