<p>As far as Democratic-run events go, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/babbling-biden-muses-about-2024-run-im-the-guy-whos-pushing-out-eggs" target="_blank" rel="noopener">White House Easter</a> Egg Roll on Monday was pretty tame and <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/just-be-normal-desantis-winning-political-message" target="_blank" rel="noopener">normal</a>. There were no drag queens, no displays of outright contempt for Christianity, and it included one of President Joe Biden&#8217;s classic senior moments:</p>

<p>&#8220;The white house was NOT ready for this twerk,&#8221; one of the most famous, or infamous depending on your persuasion, mascots tweeted.</p>

<p>In the background, somebody can be heard saying, &#8220;All right now &#8230; Stop doing that.&#8221; The three Easter bunnies seemed too stunned to speak.</p>
<p>Now, many believe that there is a time and a place for twerking. Some like to do it at <a href="https://twitter.com/sav_says_/status/1323828914180001793?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">BLM riots</a>. Others do it at <a href="https://twitter.com/1Fubar/status/1540529786053066753?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">abortion rallies</a>. Neither of those events is this author&#8217;s cup of tea — and neither is twerking for that matter — but it is safe to say that a White House Easter Egg Roll meant for families is not the place to shake your tail-feather the way Gritty did it.</p>
<p>As conservative Jim Hanson put it, &#8220;It&#8217;s a children&#8217;s event scumbag.&#8221;</p>

<p>Maybe it is no surprise that a representative of the City of Brotherly Love disgraced the White House. Philly fans beat up Santa Claus, for Pete&#8217;s sake. They aren&#8217;t exactly known for being members of polite society.</p>
<p>Yet if there is one silver lining in any of this, we all received a valuable lesson this week: You can pay for &#8220;eggucation,&#8221; but you can&#8217;t buy class.</p>
