Whoopi Goldberg dropped some advice on Amy Schumer ahead of the “Trainwreck” star’s hosting of the 2022 Academy Awards and said basically avoid the internet.

During the 40-year-old actress‘ appearance recently on “The View,” the panel discussed the fact that Schumer would be cohosting the night with comedian Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall on March 27, reported Entertainment Tonight Canada.

The “Snatched” star cracked an odd joke about how she “better start eating” and then asked Goldberg, a former Oscars’ host, her advice.

“Go have a good time,” “The View” cohost replied. “Don’t read anything, stay away from all the internet, don’t read it two days before, and don’t read it two days after.”

“Because everybody thinks it’s the easiest job in the world, and it’s not,” she added. “But have a good time. Because if you’re having a good time, they’ll have a good time.”

Sunny Hostin interjected and said Whoopi “gives very good advice, it’s worth following at all times” and Schumer agreed.

“It’s a big party, right?” Amy responded. That’s why I wanted to do it.”

The “Sister Act” star has hosted the annual award show several times, in 1994, 1996, 1999, and 2002, reported the outlet.

Later this month, the 94th Academy Awards will return to having a host for the show for the first time in 3 years.

Schumer previously promised that she plans to take “a couple risks” at the 2022 show, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

“I emailed my lawyer about two jokes the other day, and he was like, ‘No!'” the superstar comedian said.

In a promo about their upcoming hosting gig, Sykes joked that they had it in the bag and only had to do better than last year.

“We just have to do better than last year’s host,” the comedian said. Schumer agreed and said  “that is the thing, totally. It is a competition in that way.”

The Oscars hosts then said they couldn’t even remember who it was last year that hosted the show. The Academy Awards went without a host for the last three years amid the pandemic and other issues. Kevin Hart was last picked to host the show in 2019 but ended up stepping away from the opportunity because he didn’t want to be a distraction over his past comments about homosexuality. The “Central Intelligence” star faced a backlash after some tweets resurfaced that were deemed insensitive by the LGBT community, as reported previously.
