Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard spoke out against President Joe Biden’s new policy of directing a domestic terrorism unit to target threats from those who have an “anti-authority” or “anti-government” attitude, urging Americans to “stand up against this.”
Gabbard shared the strong words in a Twitter post that featured a video clip from her Sunday interview on Fox News’ “The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton.”
“Biden’s new policy of directing a domestic terrorism unit to target those who have an ‘anti-authority’ or ‘anti-government’ attitude exposes their anti-liberty/anti-democracy mindset. We must all stand up against this, regardless of our political party,” Gabbard wrote.

“We have the Deputy Attorney General of the United States speaking to the American people about how they are standing up a domestic terrorism unit to support their efforts to target those who hold anti-government or anti-authority ideologies,” Gabbard said during the interview.
“When we stop and think about that for a second, what does that really mean? The authorities in our government, the Biden administration, are targeting Americans for holding anti-authority views. That is authoritarianism,” she added.
Gabbard opposed the Biden administration’s new view, regardless of her political affiliation.
“That undermines the heart of our Democratic Republic. That undermines the essence of our Constitution which says we have the freedom to challenge our authorities, we have the freedom to stand and protest, to ask questions, to demand accountability and answers,” she said.
The former Hawaiian congresswoman has increased her criticisms of Biden in 2022. On Friday, Gabbard released a Twitter video that attacked the president’s failure to unite the country, calling him “unfit to lead.”

“I supported Joe Biden, and millions of other Americans voted for Joe Biden because he promised to unite us,” Gabbard said in the video.
“He promised to bring us together, to end the divisiveness. Sadly, not only has he failed to do this, he has betrayed us all by pouring fuel on the fires of divisiveness that are tearing our country apart,” she added.

The former Democratic presidential candidate also blasted Biden last Wednesday for remarks that he made during a speech that were widely panned as divisive and anti-American by critics. The Daily Wire reported:
Gabbard tweeted out a video clip of Biden where the president uttered the following lines:

“Hillary’s calling tens of millions of Americans deplorables was divisive & disgusting,” Gabbard responded. “But Biden has gone further, calling those who disagree with his actions & policies domestic enemies, traitors, and racists. Biden promised to unite us, but he is doing all he can do divide us.”
