On Tuesday, President Trump visited Puerto Rico, where he met with Governor Ricardo Rossello and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz. He praised both figures for their hard work in restoring required resources to those stricken by Hurricane Maria. Trump went out of his way to praise Cruz: “Well I think she’s come back a long way. I think it’s now acknowledged what a great job we’ve done. And people are looking at that. In Texas and in Florida, we get an A-plus. I think we’ve done just as good in Puerto Rico and it’s actually a much tougher situation. … Whether it’s her or anybody else, they’re all starting to say it.”

Trump also spent a few minutes shooting paper towels into the crowd like Oprah handing out prizes.

This latter photo op won’t go well for Trump, particularly following his weekend photo op at the President’s Cup, where he dedicated the U.S.’ golf win to the victims of Hurricane Maria.
