<p>Speaking at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Saturday, President Trump <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8608235/The-Green-New-Deal-children-Trump-takes-swipe-AOC.html">took a shot</a> at the hard-left’s “Green New Deal,” which was sponsored by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). He stated, “I actually say the Green New Deal is childish. It&#8217;s for children; it&#8217;s not for adults.”</p>
<p>Trump said, “You look at what they want to do; they want to raise everybody&#8217;s taxes, everybody, and they want to do the Green New Deal, which will decimate our country and decimate – it&#8217;s ridiculous; it&#8217;s childish. I actually say the Green New Deal is childish. It&#8217;s for children; it&#8217;s not for adults. Anybody that believes in that is —I don’t know, maybe it&#8217;s politics. I don’t even think it’s good politics; they seem to think so. We’ll see how they do. But I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s good politics and it&#8217;ll decimate our economy.”</p>
