Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams said on Tuesday that she wants to ban semi-automatic rifles and refused to answer whether she supports the government confiscating firearms from the public.
Appearing on ABC’s “The View” with co-host Meghan McCain, Abrams addressed her stances on the Second Amendment using common left-wing tactics to downplay her views, which have earned her the support of the pro-gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety and an “F”-rating from the NRA.
