President Donald Trump surprised the first White House tour group of the his second presidency on Tuesday, welcoming them to the White House and chatting with them about what they can expect.

In a video on YouTube from The Daily Wire, Trump walked around behind a room divider in an underground hallway and told the cheering group that he wanted to welcome them to the exciting tour.

“Is everybody having a good time?” the president asked, and the group replied, “Yes.”

“But just have a good time … you are getting an extra special tour because you are the first one of the year,” he added. “An extra special tour, especially for this guy right here (as Trump pointed to one person in the front row.)”

Trump even asked the group if they had any questions and talked about how he was working on trying to get rid of this Russia-Ukraine war, as he reiterated it should have never started.

The president closed out his message to the crowd, telling them, “I want to thank you very much for coming. The tour is so great.”

“The first lady worked very hard in making it perfect and I think you’re going to really love it,” Trump said. “And I heard you were here, and I said, let’s stop by. And you’re very smart looking people, I must say. Very smart. Maybe someday, you’ll be here as the president, right?”

Trump closed his message by reiterating to the group to have a good time on the special tour, and the White House visitors responded with cheers and chants of “USA! USA!”

Earlier this month, the first lady announced the reopening of the White House to the public for tours to start on February 25.

“The President and I are excited to reopen the White House to those interested in the extraordinary story of this iconic and beautiful landmark,” Melania said in a White House press release. “There is much to learn about the American Presidency, the First Families who have lived here, and our Nation’s rich history from a firsthand experience at the White House.”

“This opportunity is unique among nations around the globe—a tradition we are honored to continue for the hundreds of thousands of visitors who come each year,” she added.

The tours, which last about 45 minutes, are self-guided “and will generally be available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday as well as 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday through Saturday (excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted),” the release added.

Tours are scheduled on a first-come-first-served basis and are offered free of charge.

According to the White House website, tours typically include the “public rooms in the East Wing and the Residence, which include the Vermeil Room, the Library, the China Room, the Blue Room, Red Room, Green Room, the State Dining Room, and a view of the White House Kennedy Garden.”
