MSNBC’s Chris Matthews compared President Donald Trump’s children to known child rapists, murderers, drug users, thieves, and anti-Semites on Tuesday while interviewing the author of the newly released and already debunked book on the Trump White House.
While interviewing Michael Wolff about his book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” Matthews compared Trump’s children to Uday and Qusay Hussein.
“Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon had an enormous amount of — they were polarized, let’s say, in the early months of the administration, and they actually came together,” Wolff said. “I think that they became quite good friends because they understood … this was an entirely anomalous situation that they had found themselves in, and it was coming apart.”
“I guess when you’re dealing with Uday and Qusay every day, you do find common purposes,” Matthews responded about Priebus and Bannon’s relationship to his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

As NewsBuster’s managing editor Curtis Houck noted, this is not the first time that Matthews has compared members of the Trump family to the Husseins. This is at least the sixth such comparison in the last year.
Matthews’ smears come amid accusations against him of sexual harassment, bullying employees, and fostering a hostile work environment.
That MSNBC appears to have no problem with Matthews repeatedly comparing Trump’s family members to Uday Hussein is yet more evidence of its willingness to embrace extreme, partisan rhetoric. Take this excerpt from TIME on Uday:
Last October another bride, 18, was dragged, resisting, into a guardhouse on one of Uday’s properties, according to a maid who worked there. The maid says she saw a guard rip off the woman’s white wedding dress and lock her, crying, in a bathroom. After Uday arrived, the maid heard screaming. Later she was called to clean up. The body of the woman was carried out in a military blanket, she said. There were acid burns on her left shoulder and the left side of her face. The maid found bloodstains on Uday’s mattress and clumps of black hair and peeled flesh in the bedroom. A guard told her, “Don’t say anything about what you see, or you and your family will be finished.”
MSNBC has failed to respond to multiple requests for comment from The Daily Wire about Matthews’ alleged sexual harassment and abusive behavior on set.
