She&#8217;s running as an open Socialist, and she says &#8216;President Trump has never had to deal with a girl from the Bronx like me,'&#8221; says Knowles. &#8220;I said, oh a girl from the Bronx, let me do like 3 seconds of a Google search&#8230;oh and that&#8217;s a lie. She&#8217;s not. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was born in the Bronx and then before elementary school, she moved up to the suburbs to Yorktown Heights, which is in Westchester county, and she grew up in a very privileged position.&#8221;</p>
