Sometimes you come across a person on cyberspace who reinstills confidence that the American spirit is not dead yet and that seeds of hope still exist in this great country of ours.
It would appear Scott LoBaido, an artist in New York City, is one such person who has inspired the masses after the self-proclaimed “patriot” and “#1 freedom fighter” stuck it to the man in the Big Apple by hurling slices of pizza at City Hall in defiance of a potential new rule that would force certain restaurants to pay a hefty price in the name of fighting climate change.
On Monday, LoBaido posted a video of himself marching up to the gate of New York’s City Hall, reading a script, saying, “The woke a** idiots who run this city, are doing everything in their power to destroy it.”
He went on to spout off on a litany of issues plaguing NYC, including but not limited to lewdness, illegal immigration run amok, crime rates skyrocketing, and other issues.
LoBaido then introduced viewers to “The New York Pizza Party,” named in homage to “The Boston Tea Party,” and shortly after, began throwing pizza over City Hall’s fence.

While LoBaido’s speech might be rude, crude, and crass — he’s not wrong. Instead of fixing its myriad of problems, New York is focused on climate change chicanery.
As reported, the policy from the New York City Department of Environmental Protection would require restaurants making coal or wood-fired pizzas to slash their carbon emissions by up to 75%.
“All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” department spokesman Ted Timbers said.
“This common-sense rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”
The rule may mean pizzerias that installed coal or wood-fired ovens before May 2016 must purchase expensive air filter systems to reign in their emissions.
But not everybody is a fan of the ruling. One pizza joint in Brooklyn praised LoBaido for his bold stance.
“My hero. Don’t mess with NY PIZZA!! You’ve gone to far on this one. What’s next our fryers?” Paesans Pizza in Brooklyn tweeted about the pizza-eating patriot.

For those concerned about legal vengeance taken against LoBaido, rest assured that he only received a summons.
“Cops posted right there. cops were great. just got a summons. all good. my point was made,” he tweeted.

This isn’t LoBaido’s first time speaking out against politics. The man has been an outspoken Trump supporter for years now and has constantly used his skills to criticize leftists. Recently, he was interviewed by Fox News for his response to a new sculpture meant to honor illegal aliens.
Regardless, it looks like it’s morning in America, again, and pizza is for breakfast.
