A man began to tear apart the “autonomous zone” this week in Seattle after the city’s Democratic leadership allowed far-left activists to occupy the area for a couple of weeks.
Video of the man started appearing on social media over the last 12 hours, and one local source said the incident happened within the last 24 hours.
In two videos that were posted online, a man begins to take different objects that the activists used as a perimeter barrier and started throwing them inside the encampment. The man flipped over tables and yelled at the activists that it was time to get their act together and to go home.

In a statement on Wednesday, CHOP organizers said that the “CHOP project” was over and that it was time for them to move on to doing “virtual activism.”
“The CHOP project is now concluded. While we expect a very small handful of holdouts may try to remain in the CHOP, no further organizing will be occurring to support this presence and the number on-site will be too small to be more than an annoyance for pedestrians rather than a zonal blockade,” the statement said. “We have been briefed that full rehousing of the SPD East Precinct staff into the station will occur no later than early next week and will be preceded by the removal of barriers and the reopening of streets to traffic.”
Q13 FOX Seattle reported:
Faced with growing pressure to crack down on an ‘occupied’ protest zone following two weekend shootings, Seattle’s mayor said Monday that officials will move to wind down the blocks-long span of city streets taken over two weeks ago that President Donald Trump asserted is run by ‘anarchists.
Durkan said at a news conference that the violence was distracting from changes sought by thousands of peaceful protesters seeking to address racial inequity and police brutality. She said the city is working with the community to bring the ‘Capitol Hill Occupied Protest’ zone to an end.
The area had been occupied by thousands of people until a series of shootings broke out in recent days which led to the city’s Democrat mayor announcing that they would be bringing their “summer of love” to an end.
President Donald Trump responded to the controversial remark by writing on Twitter, “Seattle Mayor says, about the anarchists takeover of her city, ‘it is a Summer of Love’. These Liberal Dems don’t have a clue. The terrorists burn and pillage our cities, and they think it is just wonderful, even the death. Must end this Seattle takeover now!”
Durkan replied: “Seattle is fine. Don’t be so afraid of democracy.”

Washington Democrat Governor Jay Inslee claimed at the time that he had no idea what was going on in Seattle when asked about the CHOP zone during a press conference.
“Well that’s news to me,” Inslee claimed. “So, I’ll have to reserve any comment about it. I have not, I have not heard anything about that from any credible source, not that you’re not credible, it’s just like before I espouse an opinion, I should know of which I speak.”
