Journalist Andy Ngo documented the brutal attack that he suffered from the far-left group Antifa in his first interview since the alarming incident, saying that he wondered during the assault where the police were.
“On Saturday, documenting this protest, that was organized by Antifa and its allies, we were a literal stone’s throw away from Portland’s most important institutions of the rule law, the courthouses, the sheriff’s office, the central police precinct,” Ngo told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on Monday night. “While hearing people chant ‘No hate, no fear,’ I am suddenly bashed on the back of my head, from behind and from there, I am a very passive person, I have never been in a fight, it took me a few seconds to realize that I was actually even hit in my head. When I realized what was happening, it was too late. A mob of people all dressed in black and wearing masks started beating me with their fists and some of them used objects to hit me.”
