On Fox News Monday, former Trump campaign adviser Michael Caputo suggested that there was more than one informant that approached the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.
Appearing on “The Ingraham Angle” with host Laura Ingraham, Caputo discussed the issue of U.S. intelligence agencies allegedly behaving like Russian intelligence agencies during the Obama administration by secretly spying on its citizens.
“Let me tell you something that I know for a fact,” Caputo said. “This informant, this person they tried to plant into the campaign … he’s not the only person that came at the campaign.”
“And the FBI is not the only Obama agency that came at the campaign,” Caputo continued. “I know because they came at me. And I’m looking for clearance from my attorney to reveal this to the public. This is just the beginning.”
Caputo concluded with a strong assertion: “I’ll tell you when we finally find out the truth about this, Director Clapper and the rest of them are going to be wearing some orange suits.”
