On Tuesday, CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta might have violated a directive from White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who supposedly warned him about playing his attention-seeking games.
Immediately after President Donald Trump signed the National Defense Authorization Act bill, Acosta jumped into action and resorted to his childish antics of shouting for attention — knowing full well he was not going to get a response.
“Mr. President, what did you mean when you said that Kirsten Gillibrand would do anything for a campaign contribution?” Acosta shouted.
Acosta’s question was in reference to a tweet from Trump on Tuesday where the president wrote that Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) would come to his office “begging” for campaign contributions and “would do anything for them.”
However, Acosta’s stunt might have violated a directive from Huckabee Sanders, who Acosta claims warned him right before his shouting that he was facing consequences if he pulled his stunts again.
Acosta clearly seems to have a problem respecting women.
