CNN political analyst April Ryan used a man who made a sex tape with Kim Kardashian to attack Kardashian’s husband, rapper Kanye West, on Thursday over the meeting that he had with President Donald Trump.
Ryan, who appeared on CNN with host Wolf Blitzer to break down the meeting between Trump and West, brought up rapper Ray J, saying that he was “a little concerned” about the meeting.
Fox News notes that “Ray J is a musician who is more known for his role in an infamous 2003 sex tape with West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, that was made long before West and Kardashian began their relationship.”
“I talked to someone who is very familiar with the Kardashians, or used to be, text messaging with Ray J. You know who Ray J is, he was once close with Kim Kardashian,” Ryan said.
The embarrassing segment for the far-left network comes two days after CNN ran a segment using racial slurs to smear West for his support for the president.
“CNN again proved that they will go to anyone that will assist them in pushing their narrative,” NewsBusters managing editor Curtis Houck told Fox News. “Kanye and Ray J won’t be caught exchanging Christmas cards, so for April Ryan to invoke him to counter the White House meeting is the very definition of trolling. He’s clearly not relevant.”
Even left-wing pundits were shocked by Ryan’s lack of professionalism, as former Obama official Tommy Vietor tweeted:
Fox News’ Brian Flood also weighed in on Ryan’s stunt, writing on Twitter:
