Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo slammed America during a speech on Monday, insisting that Democrats are not going to make America great again because it was never great.
Speaking at an advocacy event for women and girls, Cuomo took a shot at President Donald Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
“We’re not going to make America great again,” Cuomo told the audience. “It was never that great.”
“We have not reached greatness,” Cuomo continued. “We will reach greatness when every American is fully engaged.”
Cuomo continued by stating that greatness will only be achieved when there is no discrimination against women and every woman’s “full potential is realized and unleashed.”
