<p>Voters in Georgia&#8217;s 14th Congressional District on Tuesday elected Republican Clay Fuller to replace former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.</p>
<p>With 68% of the vote reported, Fuller, a district attorney and former lieutenant colonel in the Air National Guard, leads Democrat Shawn Harris, a retired Army officer, by double digits (56.1% to 43.9%). <a href="https://x.com/DecisionDeskHQ/status/2041668332965794200?s=20">DecisionDesk</a> called the race at 8:03 p.m. ET.</p>
<p>The conservative win expands House Republican majority to 219–214, with the midterm elections just eight months away.</p>
<p>President Donald Trump&#8217;s early endorsement helped Fuller consolidate the Republican vote in a crowded field of eleven other conservative candidates. On Monday night, <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/116360767027115214">Trump urged Republicans</a> to get out and vote.</p>
<p>Located in the northwestern corner of Georgia, bordering Alabama and Tennessee, the district strongly favors Republicans. President Trump carried the district in 2024 with 68% of the vote, <a href="https://apnews.com/article/georgia-special-congressional-runoff-election-ga14-clay-fuller-shawn-harris-2f157161753e9360f255dc4ae5922b14?utm_source=chatgpt.com">according to the Associated Press</a>, outperforming Marjorie Taylor Greene&#8217;s 64%.</p>
<p>Greene <a href="http://%E2%80%9CI%20am%20withdrawing%20my%20support%20and%20Endorsement%20of%20%E2%80%98Congresswoman%E2%80%99%20Marjorie%20Taylor%20Greene,%20of%20the%20Great%20State%20of%20Georgia,%E2%80%9D%20Trump%20said%20in%20a%20November%2014%20Truth%20Social%20post,%20adding%20that%20%E2%80%9Call%20%5Bhe%20sees%5D%20%E2%80%98Wacky%E2%80%99%20Marjorie%20do%20is%20COMPLAIN,%20COMPLAIN,%20COMPLAIN!%E2%80%9D">resigned from Congress</a> in January after a bruising falling-out with the president, who pulled his endorsement from one of his formerly most loyal supporters.</p>
<p>“I am withdrawing my support and Endorsement of ‘Congresswoman’ Marjorie Taylor Greene, of the Great State of Georgia,” Trump said in a November 14 Truth Social post, adding that “all [he sees] ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!”</p>
<p>Greene grew critical of the president over a range of issues, including the Epstein files, whether to extend Obamacare subsidies, and, more recently, the war with Iran.</p>
<p>On Easter Sunday, the former MAGA firebrand accused Trump administration officials of being &#8220;complicit&#8221; and said the president himself  has &#8220;gone insane.&#8221;</p>

<p data-start="0" data-end="312">President Trump, who branded the former congresswoman as &#8220;Marjorie Traitor Greene,&#8221; has not acknowledged her in recent weeks.</p>
<p data-start="0" data-end="312"><a href="https://clayfullerforgeorgia.com/#priorities">Fuller ran on mass deportations</a>, cracking down on crime, protecting the Second Amendment, and prioritizing an &#8220;American First Economy&#8221; — promising to stand against the &#8220;Socialists, Democrats and weak Republicans in Washington.&#8221;</p>
<p data-start="0" data-end="312">The platform was enough to sway former Congresswoman Greene, who signaled support for the Republican candidate, <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2026/04/06/politics/georgia-special-election-marjorie-taylor-greene-shawn-harris-clay-fuller">telling CNN</a>, “This district will not elect a Democrat.&#8221;</p>
