On October 22, 2015, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testified under oath in front of the House Select Committee on Benghazi and, as FBI Director James Comey proved this week, told the U.S. Congress a series of lies.
In the video (above) Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) asks Hillary to clarify why she said in an earlier statement from March of that year that her server was physically located on her property, which she emphasized is “protected by the secret service.”
“Why’d you mention the secret service,” Jordan asked. “Here’s what I mean, could a secret service agent standing at the back door of your house protect someone from Russian or China from hacking into your system?”
Jordan repeated, “Why’d you mention the secret service agent?”
“Out of just an abundance of being transparent,” Hillary said with a complete straight face.
Clearly flabbergasted at her gall, Jordan fired back, “Transparent? What’s the relevance to protecting from classified information [hacks]?”
Hillary then went all in, “There was nothing marked classified on my emails either sent or received.”
Gotcha!
In his July 5th, 2016 press briefing, FBI Director Comey put the nail in that coffin, stating:
From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were “up-classified” to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent.
Some have argued that Hillary also committed perjury when questioned about the number of servers she used.
“So there’s only one server, that’s what your telling me? And it’s the one server that the FBI has?” asked Jordan.
“The FBI has the server that was used during my tenure at the state department,” replied Clinton.
But here is what Comey revealed this week: “Secretary Clinton used several different servers and administrators of those servers during her four years at the State Department.”
In other words, in just that short 4-minute segment, Clinton perjured herself not once but twice.
Representative Jordan also did his best to pin Hillary down on her lying to the American people when she said an inflammatory Youtube video mocking the prophet Muhammad sparked a (non-existing) protest that led to the Benghazi attack.
But in an email (below) she sent to her family the night of the attack, she revealed that she already knew it was Islamic terrorists.
