Dr. Robert Malone and cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough were reinstated to Twitter late Monday following Elon Musk’s reversal of the platform’s “COVID misleading information policy.”
Malone was banned from Twitter in January after he shared a video that said Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccines caused “more harm than good.” McCullough received his own suspension after he also questioned the effectiveness of vaccines.
Malone has approximately 100 scientific publications and has served on various government committees. He holds numerous patents in the fields of gene delivery, delivery formulations, and vaccines, including for fundamental DNA and RNA/mRNA vaccine technologies used in COVID-19 vaccines.
He holds a medical degree from Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and completed the Harvard Medical School fellowship as a global clinical research scholar in 2016.
McCullough is the former Vice Chief of Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center and a leading cardiologist. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and clinical lipidology.
Both doctors announced their return to Twitter late Monday. Malone launched a brief “test” followed by a series of posts after returning to the platform.
“I’m back… Welcome to Fifth Gen (Information) Warfare The battleground is consensus of the swarm and your own mind,” he tweeted.

Malone also came under attack for sharing his views on Joe Rogan’s popular podcast, with YouTube removing the episode following pushback.
Malone led the Global COVID Summit, which released a declaration on behalf of 17,000 physicians and medical scientists calling for an end to the national COVID-19 emergency. The declaration argued that corruption between government bureaucrats, pharmaceutical and healthcare executives, Big Tech, and media was helping to facilitate “crimes against humanity,” The Daily Wire previously reported.
McCullough also celebrated his return to Twitter with a quick announcement followed by several additional tweets.
“Alright everyone, I am back on Twitter!” he wrote. “Let’s see my verification and completely uncensored, no unfollow programs, no bots assigned to me, and absolutely no shadow-banning. Let the world hear the medical truth (98% want it) on the pandemic and more!”

McCullough also appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast with ensuing criticisms from some in the medical community. He has argued that the current vaccines should be taken off the market and have clearly not worked.
The return of the two medical doctors to the platform follows several others who were previously banned, including former President Donald Trump, the Babylon Bee, and comedian Kathy Griffin.
“Effective November 23, 2022, Twitter is no longer enforcing the COVID-19 misleading information policy,” the page concerning the previous effort now reads, the Associated Post reported.
The return of Malone and McCullough to the platform also comes after a series of reports called the “Twitter Files” that have chronicled the censorship of the platform prior to Musk’s takeover of the company.
