President Donald Trump took the gloves off on Tuesday when talking to reporters about Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden, slamming the two-time failed presidential candidate on a wide range of issues.
Before leaving for Iowa, Trump spoke to a group of reporters where he unloaded on Biden, “[He’s] a loser, Joe never got more than 1%, except Obama took him off the trash heap and now it looks like he’s failing, it looks like his friends from the Left are going to overtake him pretty soon.”
“His whole campaign is to hit Trump … when a man has to mention my name 76 times in his speech, that means he’s in trouble,” Trump continued. “He looks different than he used to, he acts different than he used to, he’s even slower than he used to be.”
“I’d rather run against Biden than anybody, he’s the weakest mentally,” Trump added. “I like running against people who are weak mentally. I think Joe is the weakest up here. The other ones have much more energy. I don’t agree with their policies, but I think Joe is a man — I call him 1% Joe, because until Obama came along he didn’t do very well.”
Trump then pivoted to talking about how situations with foreign nations deteriorated under Obama and Biden’s administration.
“Joe Biden thought that China was not a competitor of ours. Joe Biden is a dummy,” Trump said. “Joe Biden thought that China was not a competitor. China made $500 billion over a short period of time against Obama, Biden, and for many, many years, in all fairness to them. … and China ate our country alive during Obama and Biden, they ate us alive, and then Biden has some kind of relationship financially, or his son, with China. Tell me about that because China ate the United States alive economically.”
Trump then highlighted how the crisis in Venezuela “started in the worse form” during the Biden-Obama administration.
